LOL I see you did! I hope everyone enjoys the forum and a place to chat with each other and maintain friendships. I've got so much on my plate right now that I don't have time to sneeze even. But I'll be back as soon as I can to tell everyone all about it. At this rate it'll probably be tomorrow though.

Sorry I haven't been around much but I've simply been overwhelmed with stuff both at home and on line. I've been sick (as usual) and Bruce hurt his back fairly badly and hasn't been feeling well either, so I've been taking care of him, and when he can, he takes care of me. We're quite the pair LOL. Obviously, I put together this board during this time. As I said in the announcement (I think) it's not done, but it's good enough to let folks come on in and use it. It's just going to have to do for now. Plus, of course I haven't stopped my study time with the Lord. That's about the only thing that hasn't changed, although it gets interrupted caring for Bruce and stuff at times, or else I wind up getting started way later then usual, which is what happened today. But that's life. You just gotta roll with the punches. Then my daughter and son in law were both sick too, so I was watching the kids a few times while they were at the doctors. Next, we lost our internet for awhile, which really didn't help. All we need now is for it to snow again! ROTFLOL!
Oh and I do want to tell you all about Marianne too. I've been trying to wait till I could speak to her and have it make sense, but it's going to be awhile before that happens apparently. She's really messed up from the drugs so talking to her isn't really an option. I've called her and spoken to her, but I seriously doubt if she's heard even 9/10ths of what I've said, and she really doesn't say anything other then hello...at least not that makes any sense yet. I did speak to Lou though to see what was really going on and he also told me that the drugs have her completely out of it. I didn't believe him the first time he told me, but after trying to talk to her several times I did LOL. Anyway he said the surgery was successful and there weren't any problems, at least not so far and everything seems to be working the way it's supposed to. I did get Marianne to say that too, but I'm not sure if she really knew what she was saying yes to as I put it as a yes or no question. Lou also told me that she'd be in the hospital until at least this Friday. He thought they might let her go home on Saturday. Knowing that hospital though, nothing would surprise me. I'll try and call Lou again tonight and see how things are going. At this point I don't think it's going to do any good to try and talk to Marianne until they reduce the amount of drugs she's on. Sorry I can't give you anything more detailed, but that's all I've got so far.
I hope you all have fun playing with the board and finding out what it has to offer. I know it'll take everyone a little getting used to, but at least it's "almost free" lol. The only thing that really cost anything was using my own domain name and of course they are going to charge you for that. Bruce was real suspicious at first and wanted to know how they made money if it was free, so I told him they have lots of little goodies you can add that all cost money, like using the domain name. I would have preferred to either keep our vbulletin board or go back to the phpboard, but either of those would have required a host and that's more money again. This way I just have to pay GraceNet for handling my domain name which I had to do anyway, and proboards to use it.
When I have time, I will upload our avatars for you guys, at least some of them. I simply haven't had time to do that yet. And I may add some smileys too. Just depends on how much time I have to play with it and right now, I just don't seem to have any time for anything. I'll probably wind up playing with the color of the board too so it's not so dark, but again that'll have to wait. There's a lot I'd like to do, just gotta find the time. What I'd suggest is to start a new thread, so that your post is blank, and then try clicking on each of the above buttons just to see what they do. This board does offer some pretty neat things, like posting instagram pictures for you etc. But you won't know what it does, if you don't try clicking the buttons to see what they do. Honestly, that's how I figure things out LOL Play with the font face and size and the color and everything else too. Of course for that you'll have to type a few words first. And when you're done playing, just delete everything and click the home link above or somewhere out of the post so it doesn't post anything. I guess I should post this in the forum itself too so others will see it and maybe make a few examples of stuff huh? Ok, I'll go do that now. Have fun everyone! |

Yeah she sound all mess up right now let the drug take the course once she is better she be back
I deal with patients like that they just want to sleep or just want get better when I have car accident I had short temper with my parents I didn't want see them I was emotionally embarrassed that I got rear in by yenta driving while talk on cell phone

Cindy, thanks for keeping us updated about Marianne. I'll send her a card.
Cooler and windy today but I'm still on the patio this afternoon. A neighbor is helping us a lot by dismantling the greenhouse in our back yard. He wants to put it on the lot of his vacation cabin in New Mexico. We've never used it as a greenhouse; we just stored stuff in it. Once it's gone there will be a better view of the small lake in the new addition behind us. I'm hoping that will have more appeal when we're ready to sell this house.
