Good Morning all! It's been raining here since night before last. It's not at the moment but is supposed to start again any time and keep it up off and on for the next week. Seems like if it's not snow, it's rain. But at least the temps are above freezing, so I'll take it LOL
I hope you'll all check out that thread called Check it out! cause although you've seen the first part of it, here, I'm pretty sure you'll be surprised about the second part and quite pleased too...at least I hope so.
Thanks for helping to keep everyone updated about Marianne Kelly, I appreciate it and I know she will too!
Margie, if that greenhouse was hiding a view like that, I'm sure it will make a big difference with it gone!
Lulu, I'm continuing to pray but wanted to tell you about something I read last night. I sure hope you see this before Friday! Wish I could poke you or something to be sure you will LOL. Anyway, I'm reading a book that's very similar to the thread we once did about seeing miracles where the author shares miracle stories form many different people in her state. (Maine) One of the stories is very similar to what you're all going through, only in some ways worse. I want to share it with you both to encourage you and to give you some scriptures you might want to pray.
The ex in this story is a man and the woman eventually left him because he physically abused her for many years. She wound up marrying a pastor. But every summer she had to send her little boy to California to stay with his dad and it would just about kill her. The man had never hurt her son, only her, but she was afraid that one day he would, as he'd always threatened her that if she left him that he'd make her life miserable and take her son away from her. The last time she sent him there was when he was just 9 years old, and she and her husband had just had another baby that was only a month old. The day after he arrived, they got a call from their lawyer in California, telling them that her ex was pressing charges against her husband the pastor saying that he had physically abused the boy and they had horrible pictures showing horrible abuse on him! They were horrified and terrified that their son was hurt so badly, and very angry that he would say it was them, although it didn't surprise them. There was lots of evidence against them since the ex had taken pictures of the boys body showing it badly beaten and saying that's what he looked like when he got off the plane. There was just no way they could win, and they could not only lose their son, but DHS could take the baby away from them too! Not to mention the pastor spending time in prison for something he didn't do. Of course they're biggest trauma was worry about their son and wanting to know if he was ok, what had really happened to him etc. All they could do though was pray. (have you noticed how often we say it like that? "all we can do", like it's not much?) They told their church and friends and everyone began praying and the next day they got on a plan to go to California to stand trial.
They knew God's Word and prayed and counted on these promises from the Lord: “If a man digs a pit, he will fall into it; if a man rolls a stone, it will roll back on him.” (Proverbs 26:27) “The wicked have set a snare for me, but I have not strayed from your precepts. Your statutes are my heritage forever; they are the joy of my heart. My heart is set on keeping your decrees to the very end.” (Psalm 119:110–112) “The righteousness of the blameless makes a straight way for them, but the wicked are brought down by their own wickedness.” (Proverbs 11:5) They said getting on that plane was one of the hardest things they'd done as the evidence against them was so strong and their lawyers said there was nothing they could do.
When they got to the court, they didn't see their son, only the ex and his lawyer. After they'd sat down and order had been called etc. the judge, surprisingly announced that new evidence had been brought forward. As soon as he said that, the ex's lawyer stood up and announced that he was resigning from the case! The ex was obviously shocked and they had no idea what evidence they were talking about or what it was about. Then a woman came in, and handed the judge a tape. As soon as the ex saw her, the ex stood up and said he wanted to resign and drop the charges! But the judge told him to sit down and be quiet. Then the judge started the tape. It was a woman's voice saying "that's how you made those bruises, was with grease pencils and putty?" Then you heard the ex's voice replying and explaining how he'd drugged the boy and hired a make up artist to come in and make him up to look like he'd been badly beaten! Immediately these scriptures came to the minds of the pastor and his wife: “An evil man is trapped by his sinful talk, but a righteous man escapes trouble.” (Proverbs 12:13) “He will turn their own tongues against them and bring them to ruin; all who see them will shake their heads in scorn.” (Psalm 64:8) They said the ex started protesting but the more he did, the more people were able to identify his voice on the tape. He even made fun of the judge for buying the story about the boy being beaten up and then boasted about how he used to beat his ex wife up! To make a long story short, the ex was arrested right there on the spot; convicted of purgery and submitting false evidence to the court. He was in jail for 6 months and lost his visitation rights for 2 years.
When they got their son back, he was groggy from the drugs but otherwise unhurt. They learned that the ex had gotten both their passports and their shots and plane tickets and both their bags had been packed; he was planning on taking they boy out of the country the minute court was over! If that woman hadn't done what she did, they may have never seen their son again, not to mention being charged for crimes they didn't commit and losing custody of both children! The woman turned out to be someone the ex worked with and he'd started boasting about what he was going to do to her. She didn't like him, but couldn't stand the thought of some poor woman losing her child and her baby for no reason, and felt she just had to do something. So she checked to see if there really was a hearing and found out there was. So she pretended to be interested in the man, got him to her house and gave him wine and then just let him continue to boast while she recorded it all. Then she drove 5 hours to the courthouse, even though she was scared for her own life because she was certain the man would try to get revenge. (and he did) but she willingly put herself in harm's way to help total strangers.
Even their lawyers thought this was divine intervention! He's never seen anything like it! Her husband says, (and I quote) "Life is full of all kinds of injustices and unfair deals, but if people will just stop and invite the God of the universe into their lives, justice will be served. Sometimes it's on the other side of suffering, but justice WILL be served. “For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.” (Ecclesiastes 12:14) And don't ever give in to your anger! The Lord WILL take care of things! “Save me, O LORD, from lying lips and from deceitful tongues.” (Psalm 120:2) “Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.” (Romans 12:19)
I hope this brings you some encouragement and hope!

:D Hi everyone. Just a fly-by post, sorry. I'm very tired. I would have been in bed a long time ago, but was on the phone with my sister. We don't talk (voice) on the phone very often and this is why. She prefers the phone, I prefer to type. lol
Anyway, just wanted to say hello. Hello.

Good Morning all! I'm so glad you saw the post Lulu, and I sincerely hope that it was an encouragement to you! I'm continuing to pray for your situation.
I wonder where Kel is...she was one of the ones saying she was having a hard time with the emails but she still hasn't even come to the board as far as I know... Or John either for that matter. Maybe I should send him a separate email as I don't think he ever replied to the group ones.... and he did ask to be kept informed.
Hi Cheryl! Sorry you're so tired. Are you still working? Or just tired from housework?
I meant to say hi to Ruthanne too, it's good to see you here!
Just so everyone here knows, I think I've told everyone before but I'm not sure so I'll say it anyway. I can't post very well from my kindle, it's just hard to type with one finger and therefore I don't. So if you send me a message or I do reply to something there, you can count on it being as short as I can possibly make it. Therefore if anyone wants to actually have a conversation, it's going to have to be through email or on the board so as I post here and answer email from my computer. So I hope no one has felt I was being terse, uninterested or rude on facebook... I'm honestly not. I just can't reply well from my kindle. Plus, I spend very little time there anyway. To be honest, I'd much rather have people contact me here or through email anyway and not use facebook at all for that, but I can't control it so I just do the best I can.

Hi everyone - just a quick hello (as Cheryl said. "Hello." LOL!).
Lulu, I've been praying today and look forward to your update.
So, Sevenofnine, the Bruce Jenner thing is real? I've seen it on the tabloid magazine front pages, in stores, and hoped it wasn't really true.
Well I have to go get a spaghetti casserole in the oven for our small group meeting tonight. We're meeting with another group, and it's a covered-dish dinner, so that's what I'm taking.
Daniel started a new job last week at a 50's-style diner, so I have to take him there in a few minutes; he turns 16 in one week. Wow.
Talk to you all later.

Good morning everyone! Cindy, I loved that story about the woman, through prayer, was vindicated by the Lord. We can do ALL things, through Christ.
Lulu, I read your email. I'm so happy to see that the judge saw through the X's lies, and I'm so grateful to the Lord, for sparing you and your family any more grief over possibly losing Jazzy over all of this. I'm so glad you get to see her soon!
It's great to see everyone here. I'm not going to try to list everyone's names. I took John's name off the email thing, we were doing, because everytime I sent "reply all", his came back as non-existent. I don't like those "mailer-damon's", so I didn't send any more to him. Hope he finds us here.
Well, the contractors were here Thursday and Friday and installed our floors, FINALLY! We are quite pleased with it, and it's so nice to walk on the living room carpet. SO soft and cushy, lol. We have the baseboards to nail in, still, but we are doing that part ourselves. I did a lot of it, yesterday, but have a few more to nail in. Then I can take pictures. I will try to do a video walk around to show everyone. I was just too tired and VERY sore to finish, last night, after we got most of the furniture back into the living room, after I vacuumed and swept and nailed the boards, we finally just made some bologna sandwiches for our supper, and then I tried to watch some TV, but crashed in my chair, after only a short while. I woke up at 3am, and been up ever since. But, I can't do any work, until Ed is up. So, I'm here, bugging ya'll. lol

Lulu, I was thrilled to see that the Lord did just what I'd felt all along and was praying for, that the judge would see through her lies! Praise God!!!! I know there's more to go, but I'm so glad for that!
This is just a quick post though as I have to get ready to go to my granddaughter Maddie's birthday party. See you all later!

Good morning all!
Cheryl, I'm glad you finally have your house back together for the most part anyway, and very glad to hear that Ed's doing ok after that scary incident yesterday. Your sisters message to me didn't make sense, so I was only guessing at what she said. It was like she either left words out of a sentence or else they were the wrong words.... I was wiped out when we got home, which is why I had such a hard time replying to you. That's strange you were getting that on John, because it's a good address. I just sent him an email. I just hope they're not going in his junk mail and he gets it.
Lulu, I'm still just thrilled to death that the Lord answered our prayers so specifically! That's just awesome! I know it's hard on everyone the way this is taking so long, but I know the Lord will work everything out too.
Ruthanne, I sent you an email about the board before I posted about it on facebook. I sent it to everyone in the chat group. I'm glad you found it though.
Good to hear from you Kelly! Hope your co workers settle down soon lol
Yesterday was a long day, but a great one too! First, my son Michael surprised us by coming over to visit. He's doing fantastic! Still clean and working hard. God has really done some amazing things in his heart! He's really grown a lot. He even admits his own sins and accepts responsibility for them. On top of that, the Lord has shown him that he's not to speak badly about others, not to hold on to anger and not to seek vengeance, but to be a man of peace. My son finally, finally has peace in his heart!!! Praise God! It may not sound like much, but if you knew my son, you'd know what a HUGE miracle this is. He's been angry and bitter his entire life, since he was a preschooler, and it only got worse the older he got. God is so good, and I'm so very thankful that He answers my prayers! I honestly didn't expect this any time soon and figured it would happen very, very slowly over a long period of time, but no. God did it all, and did it in a very short time! I'm just so thrilled, because my son is finally finding the peace and happiness he's looked for for so very long.
After that, we had to go to Maddie's birthday party. She's doing well too and it was so cute when she got so excited over the gift we got her. All the other grandchildren were there, and they've all grown so much! It was nice to be able to see everyone again.
Then we had to go to the grocery store and pharmacy, so by the time we got home it was well past supper time. Once I got everything put away, I could hardly wait to go to bed and fell asleep in my chair waiting lol
Today is bible study day, so I'm getting ready for that. But I just had to share today's devotional about peacemakers so I posted it in this forum for everyone.

Cindy, I'm so happy that you had such a nice time at Maddie's birthday party and got to see all your grandchildren! What a blessing! And even more-so about Michael! PRAISE GOD!! He is so merciful and loving!!! THANK YOU LORD!!
Thank you all for your prayers, yesterday, for Ed. God was listening and answering. There was no medical reason why Ed's BP came back up, but it did, and I give the Lord all the credit!! Yesterday around noon, Ed suddenly broke out into a cold sweat, and his vision was blurring. When I took his blood pressure, it was only 71/50 and I panicked and gave him one of his nitro glycerin pills! That was NOT a good thing to do! That's for when it's too high! Ed had me call the ambulance and when I spoke with the dispatcher, I told her that I did that, and the paramedics were here in 10 minutes! After he was in the ER, his sweating stopped and in the course of a little over 4 hours later, his BP was up to a safe level and he was released to go home. The only thing they did for him, at the hospital was give him a glucose IV for dehydration. Ed said that he was extremely tired, the night before. More than usual. But, had a fitful sleep. Then yesterday morning, it never got any better, and only got worse. He felt weak and then the sweating started. This all happened 2 years ago, when he had the T.I.A., so we didn't want to take the chance of me driving him, and called the ambulance.
Again, thank all of you who saw my sister's emergency prayer request on Facebook, and prayed. My hubby is the my world in this world, and I'd be lost without him, and the Lord knows it. He once again, allowed me to keep him for a little longer.
I know that there will come a time, when my post will not be as great as this, but in meantime, our Lord is holding him up. And I am so SO very grateful!
Cindy, lol, my sister was upset, when she wrote to you. I would very much like to read what she wrote, if you would copy and paste it in a PM to me. I can decipher it for you. I'm actually impressed with the post she made on my page, asking for prayer. LOL

, it's a beautiful Sunday morning here, the sky is blue, we got some rain yesterday late in the day, not much but some....Ron and I stayed up late watching a movie, we don't do that often, but last nite the three of us were all cuddled up in bet watching TV...yes Three....Ron Mace and I, Mace had his head on my pillow sound asleep between Ron and I, he's such a good dog.... Cheryl, wicked glad your hubby is home safe and sound...I can imagine it's gonna be hard to keep him down long...I know it would be for Ron....whelp, I be ready for church, Mace is asking for his walk, or rather to take me for MY walk...lol...I usually don't wish my week away, since they go by so fast already, but man, I can't wait to hold my Jazz of a Jazzy next friday....we've missed her so much.... I forgot to tell you that the X got a HUGE tongue lashing for Jazzy's attendance of school, I guess the investigator found out that Jazzy has missed more school days then she's gone, and it wasn't for being sick...the X thru Jazzy under the buss and said she wouldn't get up in time....I guess the judge almost came out of his set yet again at the X.... Cindy, man what a blessing for your heart to see your Michael at peace...I guess there is hope for our Netty. The birthday party sounds wicked wonderful. I love you all, have a blessed day....

Sunny right now but we might get more rain later. Yesterday we went with our daughter and grandkids on a tour of the Texas Rangers baseball stadium. Lots of walking but it was interesting. Also went to IHOP to eat since the grandkids like it.
Maybe I missed it but are we still voting for FH on the Top Christian Sites? Not sure how to do that anymore.

Hey everyone! Hope everyone is great!! We had a busy weekend!! Getting things organized, getting our main bathroom done before the kids got home and then when they got home, we all went out as a family to this piano bar.. it was LOUD but it was fun and it was fun watching the dueling pianist. Boy they knew a lot of songs.. lol and we danced a little and were silly a lot.
Now the kids are heading down to Arizona to get their stuff out of storage, if it survived the floods, Devyn is busy busy at work, she is having a tough time. David is doing ok, thank you all for the prayers, there is still some things going down at his job, if it isn't one thing its another. (same situation though)
My mom is being a little standoff-ish, and I am sure its because the kids are home and she thinks so off the wall. Quite frankly, I am just so over it. I haven't changed, I am still me, all these years, and if you can't deal.. then I just don't know what else to say or do to show you I want you in my life.. I don't know.
well.. thats it in a nutshell.. lol.. hope everyone is doing well.. I miss y'all!!
