I was feeling nausea from the heat, then I see where you mentioned the name Benny Hinn.
My dog happily brought me a gift today, he was holding a rat in his mouth, then the dog dropped the rat, it was alive and ran away. gross.

yeah, that's scary!I am fine I think majority of aftrschok worst one is over for now I only have one yesterday I give it 4.0 there is old saying in LA that saying we don't get out bed until 5.0 wake us up LOL! seriously that old saying I was thinking about that yesterday, and thinking it sounded like us when we lived in Florida, and we'd say things like that about hurricanes. No one really took them seriously - well, not as seriously as they should be taken anyway. Not until another big one hit. I'm hoping that doesn't happen in CA. I came home look like Direct tv start up in my neck of woods BEnny Hinn new Love the World tv network yup ole Benny try be TV mogul here LOL! No, the rat was not in the house, we had just finished walking down an outdoors path and were waiting in the car for the dog Jack, we knew he would soon come running to us since we were already in the car and he would not want to be left behind. So as Jack came running to car I saw the rat in his mouth, I said to Jack to drop the rat, so he did and the rat ran away. Today I saw the rat dead about 15 feet from where Jack had dropped him. I did not have a shovel with me to put some dirt over the rat, if the rat is still there tomorrow and nothing was interested to taking the rat away, then I will put some dirt over the rat so the smell will not be so bad there at the entrance of the walking path.

I couldn't believe it...that's so weird! Every once in a while, we'll check out some of the other channels we have on the TV, or Bruce will spend an hour or two "shopping" for new free channels he can add and not watch. It's not that they're not good, it's that we have so many shows we like to watch on the 3 main channels we generally watch, that there's no reason to look at any others. (well, actually there's 4 main channels we watch if I count our local news channel).

I don't like Costco, I went there one time and that was enough for me, the second time I went there was to get a refund on my membership, but I read about Christmas trees being in the barbecue aisle of the Costco store. Marketing person said they want to make the store look interesting, getting a head start on everyone else, well I guess so, also said some people like to buy Christmas stuff early and store it, that way they won't have to shop later for it. Maybe there are enough people that really like to go all out to celebrate Christmas, so it profits the store to display early.

I have seen films of the USO entertaining the WW2 troops, actors and actresses from back then in the 1940's that entertained, like the most popular one I think was Bob Hope. Many care packages being mailed overseas from the US.

That's just crazy! I don't like Costco, I went there one time and that was enough for me, the second time I went there was to get a refund on my membership, but I read about Christmas trees being in the barbecue aisle of the Costco store. Maybe there are enough people that really like to go all out to celebrate Christmas, so it profits the store to display early. People will do anything for money it seems. I don't care for costco either. This what I hear about Christmas in july trivia it started by USO to ask people if you want care package in WW2 soldiers have book mark by July 31 that WHAT I hear Anna don't ask me That's possible. I remember my Mom sending my Dad care packages and Christmas packages in the summer. I have seen films of the USO entertaining the WW2 troops, actors and actresses from back then in the 1940's that entertained, like the most popular one I think was Bob Hope. Many care packages being mailed overseas from the US. I was excited to get to go to the USO in Rome when I was about 12 years old. It was really neat. I don't know if it's still there though.
Well, the MRI got done yesterday and the MRI guy was so good to me! (it feels like we know him as we've been there so often lately lol) He brought down a wheelchair and gave me a ride there and then told me the chair was made special for the MRI room so that I wouldn't have to stand up this time while Bruce was in it! What a huge difference for me... no pain! Thank You Lord!!!!!! Today we see our primary doctor to catch him up on all that's been happening, and then we wait to hear from the orthopedic doctor again.

Hi all, just catching up. We seem to be busier now than ever.
Yesterday morning, at about 4 in the morn when Hossanah and fiancee go to their work, they saw a homeless guy that has been kind of staying with these two woman that live there. But he was half sleeping (right outside their door) and muttering incoherent stuff ... ( drugs? drunk? mental issues?)
and so, because we have soooo many kids around now, they called the police, who came and took him away.
Turns out tho, he had a warrant out for his arrest.
I really felt sorry for him..... on the one hand ( he was crying when they took him away) , but also, ( without even knowing about his warrant), worried for all the little girls who live here ( and the boys too).
Also, tho, I think it is probably best he face whatever they wanted him for, not to mention, it starting raining yesterday ( and still is) so presumably he is in a nice warm dry place ( if he is in the jail) with food to eat, t ho the woman might have been feeding him also.
But that is just one of many 'interesting' daily going on's around here especially in the summer. We go for a town of about 7,000 to up to 40 or 50 thousands.....
every one wants to come to the beach, but it is NOT like Cali beaches, where you have months and months of warm/hot days endlessly.
We do get sun and warm, but like I said, we are 'cool' and raining right now. Still... the tourists come LOL

Cindy I thought you just lived in Tucson when you were a child and I knew you once lived in Germany but I didn't know that you lived in Italy. I have never been to Europe. Good to read that the MRI guy was a kind person, what a blessing a person in the medical field can be if they are good and kind.

Sevenofnine, it's so good to see you again!
I get my hearing aids at Costco. The hearing aid fitter there is really good. I don't buy anything else there.
Really hot here. But it's summertime in Texas so that's what we expect.

Turned out the homeless man was arrested for illegal guns charge....hummm not so great since he was muttering incoherently (if he was high or drunk and still had such guns, might not have been the best situation).
Still, I felt sorry for him....like everyone, he needs the Lord!!!

We do get sun and warm, but like I said, we are 'cool' and raining right now. Still... the tourists come LOL how awful that people have to see that, and awful for the person going through it himself as well. It just makes me want to be with the Lord even more! It also makes me very glad our town doesn't grow like that. We stay steady and are at about 7000 now. (We only had a little more then 5000 when I first moved here though.)Cindy I thought you just lived in Tucson when you were a child and I knew you once lived in Germany but I didn't know that you lived in Italy. I have never been to Europe. Good to read that the MRI guy was a kind person, what a blessing a person in the medical field can be if they are good and kind. I didn't live in Italy, we just traveled all over Europe and stayed in many of the countries for awhile visiting there. I loved Rome and other parts of Italy though.
Yes, people can be a true blessing when they're kind like that guy was.
Sevenofnine, it's so good to see you again! I get my hearing aids at Costco. The hearing aid fitter there is really good. I don't buy anything else there. Really hot here. But it's summertime in Texas so that's what we expect.
We've had an exceptionally hot summer this year, that actually began in spring. (in fact, I'm not sure we even had a spring!) We normally have some hot days, but we generally have a lot of "in between" days, where the temp is "just right"; and even on the hot days it normally gets quite cool at night. But it hasn't been that way for most of this summer. It's just plain been hot! Which is of course causing electric bills to sky rocket. Turned out the homeless man was arrested for illegal guns charge....hummm not so great since he was muttering incoherently (if he was high or drunk and still had such guns, might not have been the best situation).
Still, I felt sorry for him....like everyone, he needs the Lord!!! That he surely does! Maybe you could take a Bible to the jail and ask them to keep it there for anyone that's incarcerated. I don't know how large your jail is, (we never even had a jail, but now they have one jail cell that is shared between two towns lol, so one Bible would work great and could stay in the jail cell for us. Not sure though how your jail is. But if it's bigger, maybe the church would be interested in helping put Bibles in the jail....In my neighborhood if my so called "Ghetto Bird" aka LA County Sheriff helicopter hovering up you know what up a robber try rob a house he corner in house with SWAT and K9 unit all his gangstra butt I am serious Good afternoon, We are in Columbus,GA. I am taking a night off to get some much deserved rest. We are flying to Branson, a three day, outdoor concert.I am tired , I will post more tomorrow. Sounds so exciting! I'm afraid it sounds a whole lot too exciting for anything I'd be able to do anymore though lol I'm in bed by 9pm!It official it is hot in SO CAL where I am at lower 91 degrees they consider that hot It's very hot here too!

I actually don't know where the jail is....we have a police station here, but I "think' the jail is in Astoria somewhere? That is a bit away from Seaside. They must either take folks directly to Astoria Jail or have a holding cell maybe here?
I looked at a ministry for Prisoners and the recommend this
PROVIDING BIBLES FOR PRISONERS
If a volunteer wants to provide a Bible for a prisoner, we do not recommend mailing used Bibles or even a new one directly to a prisoner since it will usually be denied.
Instead, the best way is to purchase a Bible online from a trusted vendor and have it shipped directly to the prisoner.

Thanks Seven....It's not so much the getting a Bible, as to the one prison ministry saying it would probably be denied.....I am 'thinking' the police themselves might be fine with it, and even welcome it....but in today's climate of so called church vs state, they may have their hands tied....and unless I knew the guys name, and asked for it to go to him, it might be considered......whatever and not allowed. And this is Oregon and we have a super liberal female governor and Portland is an hour or so away ( also super liberal....anti-Christian etc. etc.)
