Hi everyone, been out playing with horses. Hope everyone is well.... Fearnot, I recall reading some reports from these Christian news source www.trunews.com ( they pray on air...its cool... ), but their take on AI is that its going to be used as a "Global brain" to monitor everyone on earth. This is the reason they push "cloud" for everything - so it can scanned and monitored. Its *not* for your benefit. They also covered a major phone industry get together in Spain where they had live microchipping of humans on stage and they cheered! I've always said all AI needs a "kill switch" . in a recent Netflix movie called "I am Mother" the girl who was raised by an IA driven robot eventually shoots it dead as its gone rogue. Satan has to use AI and global surveillance as he is not omnipotent like God, so Satan has to create a global brain to watch everyone. When you think about it, it makes sense. By the way Siri in you phone and the phone camera that finds faces in pictures you take, is drive by AI.... I know many people think that Satan is behind things like that and while he most certainly can and does use everything, I don't think he's necessarily behind the inventions. If so, then we'd have to say he was behind the invention of the telephone, electricity, the telegraph, radio and TV and so on. Like I said, he absolutely does use those things, as he uses everything that's ever been or ever will be invented. But it doesn't make the inventions themselves bad. I remember a very long time ago when my children were in elementary school, one of them asked me about it. In trying to explain it to them I used the Bible as an example and told them even the Bible could be used by Satan because I could pick up a big one and hit someone over the head with it and kill them. (They weren't old enough yet to understand about false teaching lol, but that example worked). That's sweet of you to give me credit Cheryl, but honestly, it was the Lord. He just used me to deliver it lol. I'm glad I obeyed Him and was able to help that way though. There are so many scams coming from that area of the world right now, I rarely trust any of them. I have some that follow me on facebook, but when they try to PM me I ask them not to as I don't carry on private conversations on facebook. They continue to try though, so I always wind up banning them from messenger at least. And they all seem to have some kind of sob story. The thing is, we all have our own sob stories, so it's not that I necessarily doubt that they're going through a hard time, but that's not the way you approach a complete stranger, regardless of whether or not they're a brother or sister in Christ. They often just ask for prayer first, and then hit you for money later. That's why I stop them at the prayer stage lol.
I'm curious, has anyone ever noticed the news feed at the top of the forums on the home page? (the home page is the page where you can see all the forums on the board.) Cindy, you have way more patience than I do. I don't even respond to anyone, who sends me private messages. I just block them and move on. I had a death threat one time and reported it to FB and the message that came back was that it wasn't against their community standards. I wrote back and gave them a piece of my mind. All the good it did, though. I was talking to an algorithm.
Yes, I see your news feed on the homepage. The banner messages that go across, right? Yes, I read them, when I come to FH. Today is Peter 4:7-8 The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded & self-controlled so that you can pray. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
wow, that's pretty cold of facebook to say that concerning a death threat! I think if that had happened to me on facebook that I'd have told all about it publicly, and included that due to that I'd be deleting my account, and then would delete it for good! They don't understand anything except gaining or losing members which means money to them. Not that losing one account would bother them, but it would make me feel better! When I got death threats and similar nasty threats on our old board, I just banned the one who sent it and blocked them from my email etc. (and to think that those people who sent them actually consider themselves "Christians"! Not!
Yep, that's what I meant! I thought the verses and the rest that I put there were a good way to start things off.
My pastor's wife came over yesterday, which is why I didn't make it here. But we had a wonderful visit! I love it when she comes over!
Gracie planted some flowers last weekend when they were here. They're going to take quite awhile before they come up and bloom though. I know I'm going to have to remind her of that quite a lot between now and then lol. :garden: That girl sure loves to garden though. I'm so glad that I got them started on it. Jenn's even growing some at her apartment on their little porch!

Well it's been a huge life changing experience , being on the road. I had Shirley stay at home while I just spent the last 6 days performing on stage. Shirley is in good hands with our daughter but by the looks of things she is just about ready for the next phase of our Journey. I have met some tremendous Christian artists in Nashville. I have to share this with you. I ran into Mac Powell, from the band Third Day. They are on their final Tour. I have been asked to come to Jacksonville , FL to be a guest singer with Third Day. They are performing on the 20th of June at the Murray Hill Theater in Jacksonville. So, I am flying home to Sanford, picking up my wife and going to the theater on the 19th to rehearse with the band. I am so Blessed with this opportunity. Then Shirley and I are flying back to Nashville, together. I think my wife misses me !! I miss her too. I will keep everybody posted. Take care and God Bless.

Hi, regards the AI stuff, its likely to be abused by the Devil much as I*M built the computer thay allowed Hitler to round up his enemies more efficiently. 5G also has a benefit of real time high accuracy tracking capability. Tech can ve used or abused, its just interesting that all this is happening as we count down the last of the ladt days....

What an awesome opportunity for you Mark! I'm glad Shirley is doing better and that she'll be able to go with you. That's such great news! Praise God!!! That it is. The way things are now and how they daily seem to be getting worse, makes me think of what the NT says about Lot, as it's how I certainly feel too: “and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man, who was distressed by the filthy lives of lawless men (for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)—” (2 Peter 2:7–8) Now, when I read passages about people in the end times, they definitely speak about today, whereas even 10 years ago, it wasn't nearly this bad. Back then I saw the evil spoken about as the evil that's present in each of our sin natures, as it wasn't being acted on so completely and publicly as it is now. Even 5 years ago, while there was plenty of false teaching about God and His Word, even that wasn't nearly as prevalent as it is now. I can remember thinking back then that there were still a couple of denominations that were still holding firm to the Truth, but that's not true anymore. Now it's just a few Churches here and there. You can't assume that any of them are teaching the truth, but instead have to watch whichever church you're considering attending to determine if they're teaching the truth or lies, and sometimes have to put up with one that teaches "mostly" truth, at least on the core issues, but some lies in areas that aren't related to our salvation. I hate to see it happening, even though I know that the Lord said it would be like this. I pray for the body of Christ asking the Lord to strengthen those who truly belong to Him, and to prevent them from being deceived; and to give them at least one church where they can still gather together to be encouraged and help one another.

Doctor has told Bruce he's not to work for the next two weeks to give his back time to recover. He's ordered another MRI and we'll see him again the first week of July to decide what to do next. Please pray that the Lord will heal Bruce!

Hello, I will say prayer for Bruce. Not much is new with me. We got all the new skirts put on the mobile home after many had blown off or blown out of place. Glad to read that Gracie planted flowers. I am going to start composting again and use the soil for planting herb flowers, the flower plants will stay indoors, if I can keep flowers in pots indoors that will be nice, so it is something for me to try to do since I am done sewing for now.

Hi friends, just reading through posts and praying for the things needed.... healing for Bruce's back, for Cindy & Cheryl to feel well, for Lulu's house to sell.....
I am at my sister's house in Virginia this week. Some of you saw the prayer request on FB, but she had emergency surgery two weeks ago for a strangulated hernia. They kept her in the hospital for three days, then our mother went to help her the first week at home, and I came up on Sunday for the second week.
Her husband and two boys are away on mission trips this week, so she and I at home with 4 kids (the two oldest are out on their own now). Her 18 year old is here; three weeks ago he broke his foot doing flips on a trampoline and had to have a pin put in, so he's hobbling around on crutches, plus we have the 9, 12 and 14 year olds here. Oh, and their adorable puppy "Titus" is here too and he requires a lot of care.
I got a migraine on Monday so that hasn't helped the situation, but she is recovering well and we even did a little project today - we re-covered the seat cushions on her patio chairs, so that was something productive.

Sorry I have been missing for awhile. We all have been having an endless cold. But in addition our Grand daughter graduated from High school, so that was a busy time for awhile.
And some weird things like:
Our grandson has a 100 % peanut allergy.
While playing with some friends in a lot out back, ( they were looking at ants or bugs),he found himself looking at a peanut ( he did not even touch it)
But immediately had breathing problems
He was able to get home and take all manner of medicine, washed hands and changed his clothes woke up his mom and off the the ER they went.....they keep him there for a hour or two.
The very next day:
Our daughter whose birthday was the 18th and the first day of her one week vacation....
Passed out twice ( she was also sick with said cold) hit her head, and while out was shaking ( but the ER people said that was not unusual) turned the whitest I have ever seen, etc.
So her fiancee took her to the ER because the clinic was already closed for the day( they must think what a weird family LOL)
Apparently she was very very low on potassium , and they did a scan of her head/brain ( since she hit the floor pretty hard from a standing position) and they gave her an IV for several hours etc. Yesterday she was feeling faint again, but ate stuff with lots of potassium and avoided another trip to ER or the clinic.
So her vacation has not been exactly what was hoped for, but on the other had it was good she did not have to take off of work for this. ( knowing her she would have 'tried' to keep working).
Leonard and I both have been fighting this endless cold. Devon our grandson has had it for over a month. I have been tired.
Yes, Anna I too get letters of people needing money. They are total strangers. On the other hand, Leonard did and does send money to an Indian pastor but we get letters from him with photos of he and his church, his charity ( feeding widows, people with all manner of physical issues, etc.), the children's ministry etc etc. Often in the letter, each child will have made a 'card' with their drawing of something from the Bible with each child's photo. The pastor writes updates on what the church is doing, teaching and so on.
But when I get pleas for money by just one person for something they need, I like Cindy will pray for them but not send money. We do send the India Christian pastor a little money from time to time, but we do believe he is legitimate.
And like Cindy said, perhaps some of the requests are real, but it is not the way to ask a total stranger for help. And like what Cheryl said many are complete and total scams.
I watched several videos of a English you tuber who is a comic and he always writes back to the scammers ( like the ones where you can get in on the ground floor of making millions of dollars) It was sooooooo funny. And they invariably start getting very angry, belligerent, and so on.
There was one sentence he said, that was a sexual reference, but in fact, those e-mails have turned up in my yahoo mail also.... it is the only such thing he said that might be distasteful ( yet is actual is trying to be sold).
But he goes on from there to say, he does not make an effort to be 'mean' to the spammers, rather to take up their time, so they are not bilking money from widows etc. Here is an example:

I hope the rapture comes soon, I am feeling old and it would be nice to be rapture before I die, but then everyone hopes for that. I take the vitamins potassium and magnesium they are BFF. lol also to help that out sometimes Vitamin D3 with K2 which are also BFF. Last year if I missed one day of taking those vitamins I would get a Charley horse, that would have been bad to get a Charley horse while driving or in a store. This year I have not had the leg cramps so bad, only mild ones so far. I liked the video. Seems that the man you donate to in India is a Christian man. There seems to be revival crusade happening in the country of India, like it does not happen in our country. On February 3rd and 4th 2020 there will be a sports complex stadium rented in New Deli, which seats 10,000, to have a crusade, paid for by on line Christians, the sound system cost $5000 and will also broadcast up to 5 miles away from the stadium. Free food and transportation.Missionaries from all over the world are flying in to be there on those days to pray with the people that walk forward to receive the Lord into their lives.

I have to run again as we have shopping to do as usual..... wish we didn't have to go. On the good side, I think the swelling is going down some in Bruce's back!

Barbara, that video was just too funny!! It caused me to go find a few more of them and had me spitting a gasket. Thank you for sharing. I needed a good laugh.
Cindy, my prayers are with Bruce. I'm so sorry that he's having to go through this, still.
Cindy, "BFF" means "Best Friend Forever". Well, at least that's what is used to mean. Things get changed so often, anymore.
Thank you for making that thread with the TV shows. I tried to write down everything you told me, but I couldn't keep up. lol

Attachment DeletedHi everyone, sorry I’ve been missing in action..we’ve been busy, and having to be out of the house 3 or 4 hours on Saturday and Sunday’s, for open house. 😥 no offers yet, a lot of likes, but no offers. So I’m kinda frustrated. Topping it off our daughter is being a blank, she seems to be looking for reasons to be mad at me, she’s helped one day, oh she’s helped in other ways, which were a big help, but since then I can’t say or do anything right by her.... i just want it over and be gone.....so I’m 🙏🙏🙏🙏 with out ceasing... Haha Lulu that is funny about the lightning bug. I like the Charley Brown gif. I was feeling stressed and I went outdoors this morning at 5 AM. When the summer days are hot it is refreshing to have a cool morning to be outdoors, not all mornings are cool, some are warm. I did some work at 5 AM I am getting myself used to those hours to do outdoors work because I will soon be driving to a city to the north of me, never driven there before by myself, I will be getting outdoors paint. I am somewhat undecided if I should just drive south to a city right on the border, but news got out about a shoot out with Mexicans and border patrol, which people died and I hesitate to drive that lonely dirt road going west, I feel it might not be safe and news about danger does not often get out to the public, so I will venture to the city of the Mormons, such a strange feeling in that city, it is also near a nuclear dumpsite, maybe the people there glow in the dark at night.

I know Cheryl I his accent is part of what makes him funny too, but his eager "I'm in" attitude is so silly.
However, I do remember Cindy telling us about one of those calls on her cell ( not online spamming/begging etc.) and she was able to bring up the gospel.....
Can you tells us how you did that again Cindy.....I would like to do the same, but could use some pointers!!
We seem to be doing better. Hossanah had a friend visit over the weekend who is 'almost' a nurse....so I was glad she came to visit when she did....my daughter hates going to doctors.....
Anyway, she seems a lot better today...thank you Lord!!

Thanks Cheryl His MRI is scheduled for tomorrow, so hopefully we'll know something soon. I can tell he's itching to go back to work. In fact, he went there yesterday just to say hi, and wound up "helping" . They want him to come back Friday at lunch time for a cookout lol, so he said he would.
You're welcome. When I have time, I'll try and add some of the Christian movies to it....
Thanks for telling me what that means... I wouldn't have thought of that when it was speaking about vitamins lol

Anyway, she seems a lot better today...thank you Lord!! lol I wasn't subtle at all. I simply interrupted her and asked if she knew Jesus. She quickly said yes, and started speaking again. So I interrupted her, saying she needed Jesus, and needed to repent from the lies she was telling people (on the phone for her job), she interrupted me and said, I needed to listen to her and started speaking again, so I kept interrupting her, saying, "no, you need to listen to me! and then would repeat about Jesus.....
I may not be able to be here tomorrow as Bruce has the MRI. We'll have to leave early as my daughter is driving us since Bruce has to take valium before hand, as he gets pretty freaked out about the MRI's, being claustrophobic.

Well, yesterday is over. It was a hard day, but Bruce made it easier on me. When we got to the hospital, he pushed me in a wheelchair to the xray department as it's a long way for me to walk. Funny, when he pushed me there, it didn't seem nearly as long as when I walk it! Anyway, the MRI lasted for just over 30 minutes and since he'd pushed me in the wheel chair, the pain wasn't as bad as it usually is when I have to stand next to him during the whole thing. Plus, the guy working the machine gave me the real good ear plugs this time so it didn't hurt my ears as much either. Then I got to ride in the wheel chair back to the car. I'd also taken the precaution of taking a flexeril before we went as that makes it a tad bit easier for me to stand and/or walk and then took the morphine after we got there. That way it would start working about the time the thing was over, so that helped too. Bruce did great this time too, especially since I couldn't keep my hand on him like I usually do so he knows I'm there. They put him in feet first this time, which was a little better on his nerves, but I couldn't reach him to put my hand on his shoulder or anything. So I just made sure to say something to him every 5 minutes or so. I watched his hands so I could tell if he was getting nervous and that's when I'd say something.
Today started out badly for me though. I have no idea why, but for some reason I leaned forward during the night, sometime shortly after 2:15am. (I had gotten up to go to the bathroom then, so I knew what time it was. At 3:15 pain woke me up and I discovered that I had leaned forward in bed instead of resting against the pillows behind my back and head; and as I fell into a deeper sleep, I fell over sideways until my head was on the bed. So imagine me sitting straight up in bed and then leaning all the way over to one side till the side of my head was resting on the mattress... that's the position I was in when I woke up! Talk about pain! It's going to take all day to get over that. I don't know why that happens, but it's happened a number of times before too. All I can figure is that I must be dreaming and must act something out in my dream. Since I sleep sitting up, yet with my back and head firmly on the pillows behind me, it's easy for me to just sit forward into a full sitting position, whereas if I was laying down, it would be a lot harder to do. I guess I'm going to have to ask the Lord to shove me back on my pillows whenever I do that at night!

Good day all Cindy I am glad you were able to move around in a wheelchair while at the hospital and back out to your car, there is so much walking to do when going somewhere. Well I hope you stay in place tonight on your bed and sleep well and feel rested. For me I feel it is trying to have to go to a hospital or shopping, and then to have to come home and cook a meal, I always buy a ready made meal that day so I do not have to cook when I get home.

Good day all Cindy I am glad you were able to move around in a wheelchair while at the hospital and back out to your car, there is so much walking to do when going somewhere. For me I feel it is trying to have to go to a hospital or shopping, and then to have to come home and cook a meal, I always buy a ready made meal that day so I do not have to cook when I get home. thanks Marlene. Bruce has been a sweetheart because although he's also in pain, he's been cooking dinner almost every night. It could be that too. But I looked up my meds again last night and noticed that hallucinating and weird dreams and actions are a side effect of the muscle relaxer I take, so that could be causing it. I'll have to not take any for the next 3 weeks to find out for sure if that's what's causing it or not. While the bar of soap will stop the spasms, it doesn't make it easier to walk, so that's why I've been taking it more lately. But I'll stop for awhile and see if that's the problem. wow Cindy...I am so sorry to hear about your pain!!! I will be praying for you. Will you hear soon about the results for Bruce? thanks Barbara, but honestly it's just normal; not anything new. Yes, we'll hear the results on Tuesday. That's going to be a very hard day for me as we have to be there at 7:30 in the morning and I normally am not able to get around much till close to noon. Plus I'll have to get up by 4 or 5 so I can have my time with the Lord first. So I most likely won't be here on that day!

Nothing new going on for me here in Texas. Talked to my daughter and she's busy as usual but really enjoying her life. My son and his family spent a week on the Texas coast and returned home last night.
Hugs to everyone.
