But it’s where we are being led...so we go..... i haven’t told my cousin yet, it’s gonna be hard, so we will plan a weekend and go down to her place and have our talk. Good Evening FH, I had a small hiccup and ended up in the ER a couple of days ago. My leg decided to spring a leak from a wound that just never fully healed properly. So, they gave me 500 mg of Keflex , which I take twice a day for the next 7 days. Then I have to go back to the wound clinic to see if I need any surgery. I firmly believe that I got it in time. Will see....wow this week flew! Talk to you tomorrow!!

Hi all, Mark sorry to hear about your leg. Getting cold here in Oz. Update on the Isreal Folau case - Israel Folau is a highly talented international level rugby player and committed Christian who spoke Gods word, and seems to have been sacked for it. We know the Devil hates the Word, but its backfired. Many in Australia now see whats behind the PC mask and dont like it. We have a Federal election today - may God be glorified in the result. www.canberratimes.com.au/story/6130632/folau-saddened-by-sacking-considering-his-options/?cs=14280"Israel Folau says he is considering his options and is "deeply saddened" by his sacking. "A three-person independent panel on Friday found Folau's anti-gay social media posts warranted the termination of his four-year deal with Rugby Australia and the NSW Waratahs. "The 73-Test fullback responded two-and-a-half hours later with a statement saying his religious beliefs "should not prevent my ability to work or play for my club and country". "It has been a privilege and an honour to represent Australia and my home state of New South Wales, playing the game I love," Folau said. "I am deeply saddened by today's decision to terminate my employment and I am considering my options. "As Australians, we are born with certain rights, including the right to freedom of religion and the right to freedom of expression. The Christian faith has always been a part of my life and I believe it is my duty as a Christian to share God's word. Upholding my religious beliefs should not prevent my ability to work or play for my club and country. "I would like to thank my wife Maria for her love and encouragement to stay true to our beliefs. We have been humbled by the support we have received from family, friends, players, fans and the wider community. "Thank you also to those who have spoken out in my defence, some of whom do not share my beliefs but have defended my right to express them." .................... "Notwithstanding his right of appeal, it also effectively signals the end of Folau's professional sporting career in Australia, after the ARL commission indicated the former Kangaroo would not be welcomed back to the NRL. .................... "Folau also showed no interest in moving offshore last year, preferring to stay in Australia where he and his family are developing two congregations in Sydney and Brisbane under the Truth of Jesus Christ Church brand.

We've had rain, lightning and tornado warnings for most of the day. It's clearing up now.
Too messy outside to go anywhere so we stayed home. I did laundry - what excitement!
Hugs to everyone.

Hi,
Ive been taking a stand for God, and trying to explain my stance on homosexuality, but I get the feeling some friends are now distancing themselves from me because I love the Word. Also, its started to get difficult in the workplace. Its realky sad - God just wants people to be saved from their sins, but this world would rather throw us to the lions.....

I want to let everyone know that I'll be missing for a few days as I feel a need to spend more time in prayer. Satan is attacking all of God's children right now and I feel I need to be praying for everyone. So that's what I'll be doing, including all of you in my prayers as well. But I'll be back in a few days. God bless you all! We've had rain, lightning and tornado warnings for most of the day. It's clearing up now. Too messy outside to go anywhere so we stayed home. I did laundry - what excitement! Hugs to everyone.
Nasty weather for sure, but I'm glad you guys are safe and sound! With weather like that, I'll take boring LOLNah, I am still heading out on the road. I am going to be ok. My leg is healing a bit quicker, this time around. Have a good weekend! That's great Mark! I'll be praying!Hi, Ive been taking a stand for God, and trying to explain my stance on homosexuality, but I get the feeling some friends are now distancing themselves from me because I love the Word. True, it's getting worse, as we knew it would. As bad as it is, and sometimes even scary, it's also exciting to me because I know that with each day that passes, and each trial we go through, we're that much closer to being called to meet our Lord in the air!

My goodness, what happened??? Did everyone decide to take a vacation at the same time? I hope everyone's OK. I've had some very good days of prayer, and honestly, didn't want to stop. But I felt guilty for leaving you all here all by your lonesome, so thought I'd better get back. I hope there's lots of good news to report!

Cindy, there is definitely a pattern here. Every time that you have said you're taking a break from the board, we all skedaddle. It's been like that since day #1, on the old board too. We can't help it! We love you!! And it's just not the same, when we know you're not around.
I'm glad you had such good days in prayer, while away. I hope that Bruce is doing well too. I've been so worried about him. And I know that a caregiver's job is never done, and you are doing the very best that you can, in spite of your own pain. But, I also know that you would not trade taking care of him, for all the tea in China. He's your world in this world. God first, then hubby, of course, but you know what I mean.
I hope everyone is enjoying time with your loved ones, remembering those who have gone before us, and enjoying some good eats. I'm enjoying a quiet day, by myself. I bought some flowers and potting soil and am fixing to go outside, on my balcony and repotting it. I have a HUGE amount of desert roses (hens & chicks), that I need to separate. My neighbors are asking me for some, so I promised to give some away. My landlord always comments on them, and told me the other day that she was going to sneak up here and swipe some, and hope I never notice. lol I told her "All you need to do is ask me." So, a pot of them will be hers too. I'm going to fix up a pork steak, with some veggies, and pasta for my holiday supper. I wish I could grill it, but I'm not allowed to have my gas grill here, so it's in storage. ~pout~
Anyway, I hope everyone is well and good, this first big holiday of the year. Be safe in everything you do!

Hello, I had a busy day today. First I made banana bread, then around noon time a large dust devil hit our mobile home. If you don't know what a dust devil is, they are a common happening around here, see them often, there like a mini tornado. I would guess it had about 80 mph wind. It tore off the skirting on the bottom of the mobile home and I felt the home rock back and forth on the stands under it. The pressure from it bent our garage door even though the door was closed, however there were three mothballs that I keep on the outside of the bottom of the garage door to keep away mice from trying to enter the garage at the corner and those mothball did not move, gravel blew up on top of the mothballs but there they stayed in place. So Ron bought what he needs to repair it all. We don't have a hardware store nearby so we will wait for the repair material to be sent to us. Then we had to put new door hinges on the car door. Ron delayed doing that work, he would use the passenger door to get into the car and move over to the drivers side, but we did that fix tonight, You would think it would be an easy job to do but the pins were mushroomed on the ends, so they would not come out and Ron had to take a grinder and grind them off, so that took about 2 hours to do.

Yes, Anna, I've seen dust devils and they get their name honestly! I am so happy to know that you are alright!! You can replace underpinning and garage doors, but I can't replace my friend!
Tornadoes have been moving through the Midwest, today. And many of them, last week in Oklahoma. Down, by me, all's quiet on the homefront, but I can't help but worry for the folks who are in the path of these monsters.

Thanks Cheryl. I've been thinking of you a lot too and have wanted to call. Just haven't had a chance during the times I knew you'd most likely be home. Bruce is doing great now. No more migraines and back to working full time and playing just as hard. Lately he's been taking care of me instead of the other way around.
I sure wish you all lived close by, cause Bruce cooked enough food yesterday to feed all of you as well as Jenn and her family! I couldn't believe all that he grilled... let's see... hamburgers, hot dogs, kielbasa, and BBQ ribs. All I did was make a big bowl of potato salad. But I made a birthday cake for Jenn the night before, so that was ready too. Bruce decorated it for me though. I'd petered out by then lol. We had a good day with Jenn and Bob and the kids, like we always do. It was really neat as we talked about the men in our family and among our friends who have served in the armed forces. Even Elijah and Grace had stories to tell about people they knew who had served and what they'd been through. We watched the armed services concert and of course the first thing played was Taps. Elijah said he could play that too and explained what it was about to Gracie. It reminded me of when we lived in Germany, as we lived on base there, and the last thing I heard every night was Taps being played on the loud speakers all over the base.
I still haven't been able to do anything in the gardens this year. I hope I'll be able to eventually... I'm sure yours looks wonderful Cheryl, as you have such a green thumb! Gracie plans to plant flowers in their "fort" in the woods here, to "beautify it" as she says. I bought some seeds for her, so she's going to have to get to that next week.

Yes, I remember praying for her too. I'm so sorry for your loss and of course for the families loss too. It sounds like you've been a busy bee as usual. Have you decided for sure yet where you're going to go? Hello, I had a busy day today. First I made banana bread, then around noon time a large dust devil hit our mobile home. If you don't know what a dust devil is, they are a common happening around here, see them often, there like a mini tornado. I would guess it had about 80 mph wind. Those dust devils are nasty for sure! I'm glad you guys were safe! It can be so strange what things get torn up and/or moved and what winds up exactly as it was before; both in a dust devil or tornado or hurricane. It seems like I remember someone saying that it helped to leave a window open on both sides or even just one side of a house, shed, or garage to prevent the pressure from building up. But I must have heard that back in the 70's when I was a kid, so don't know if it's true or not. Tornadoes have been moving through the Midwest, today. And many of them, last week in Oklahoma. Down, by me, all's quiet on the homefront, but I can't help but worry for the folks who are in the path of these monsters. I've noticed that there's been a lot of damaging weather everywhere; sometimes where you'd least expect it too. Bruce usually turns our local news on every night, but I haven't been paying attention to it for awhile. It just seems like the same old stuff and the things that both our local news and the national news think is "news" is often ridiculous to me. I mean, who cares what some "star" said, or what's trending on facebook! Especially when you know there's been a disaster somewhere, often right in the US, but nothing is being said about that! Plus, I'm sick to death of hearing about politicians, including the president. It seems like no one has anything better to do then to blame someone else for what happened or is happening. It's always someone elses fault. The same people are going to take sides as to who's fault it is, because of course, it couldn't be their fault. It would take a miracle to hear everyone say, "well it's partly my fault", or that they themselves have done wrong or made a wrong decision, or spoke wrongly about something. Makes me want to scream because they all seem to think they're sinless. Sorry, got carried away there.... anyway, it's why I refrain from watching the news and won't read anything about it on facebook either. (Unless it's something that's against God or His Word, like abortion or Israel)
Hope you all have a great week ahead!

I'm afraid I can't watch videos on my computer any more so I don't know what that's saying, but I assume it's talking about bad weather somewhere, which isn't surprising. It's crazy everywhere. On Sunday we had kind of normal weather for us, it was in the 60's. Then on Monday it was 87 which is insane for us. That night the temp dropped like a bomb and the heat was coming on by the time we woke up on Tuesday and stayed on for the morning, only getting up to about 55 and raining all day. Today I think it's again supposed to be close to normal anyway, but who knows? lol

We are supposed to have a lot of rain, wind and possibly hail this afternoon through tonight. It's not raining hard now but the sky is dark. I guess that means we'll be getting more here too. Yesterday it only made it up to 56, but today it's supposed to be in the high 70's, which is a little unusual for us this time of year. It looks like it's going to be in the 70's for the next 5 days and in the 50's at night.
When I was reading Luke yesterday, I ran across one of my notes that told about a dream I'd had back in March of 2010. It was really wild. I'm sure I shared it with you guys then, but thought I'd share it again since it was really unusual for me...
On March 23rd, 2010: This is very unusual for me! I had a really interesting dream & when I woke up I had a Hebrew phrase running through my mind. Now I don't speak Hebrew, nor have I attempted to study it. I have done some word studies to find the meaning of words in the original language to make sure I was getting the right meaning from a verse or passage, but I for sure couldn't pronounce or tell you what the original words were! But there is one phrase in Hebrew that I looked up probably 13 years ago (1997) just because I wanted to see & hear what it was. It seemed important to me at the time because of what Jesus said in Luke 13:35. “Look, your house is left to you desolate. I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’”” (Luke 13:35) About that same time a worship song came out using that phrase in Hebrew so I got to hear it too. But I honestly haven't thought about it in years! Anyway, in my dream I was with an older man. He had white hair that shone. I can still see him in my mind, but I'm terrible at describing people...I knew "who" this man was and was comfortable with him. I knew he was a scholar of the scriptures too. I think it was Paul!!! So we were studying the scriptures together and I was basically eating up everything he explained to me--just absorbing it like a sponge. He was an excellent teacher for sure and very interesting and didn't speak down to me but rather included me in the study so that we studied "together" rather then him just telling me everything. The study we were doing was because it was almost time to leave for Home! It was important that I learn this stuff and share it in the time remaining. That was the setting behind why we were studying together. Strangely however as the dream faded I could hear very clearly this Hebrew expression that I hadn't thought of for ages and if anyone had asked me how to say it, there's no way I would have remembered it consciously: Baruch Haba HaShem Adonai! (Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord!) It was weird too because it wasn't just a normal human voice saying it; it was being said as though by an announcer announcing Royalty and kind of like there was a horn or trumpet or something sounding at the same time...but that phrase kept resounding in my mind as I woke up and wouldn't go away! I do not normally have dreams like this!
After I read this yesterday, I felt that the man was more likely the Holy Spirit, but since it was a dream, who knows

What a wonderful dream Cindy!! It's interesting the phrase: Baruch Haba HaShem Adonai because I listen to Amir Tsarfati ( a Jewish Israeli Christian) and he will say things in Hebrew from time to time, and that is for sure one of them I have heard him say a few times.
Anna that sand tornado sounded scary!! But the mothballs sounded kind of funny....maybe put a whole bunch in the house LOL ( I know not funny, but it just seemed weird, they were not blown into the next state!
Lulu, I am sorry for your loss of Angie, but she is with Jesus now, as I know you know and can take comfort in that.

That is interesting about the dream Cindy. When are you going to have to upgrade to windows 10. I have window 7 and have been told that I have to upgrade to window 10 by January 1. I tried to download the free 10 when it was offered but it did not work, so I will have to buy the download. I suddenly have a lot of tracking cookies everyday. I am not a person that is interested in apps, not like the younger people are, many people like whats app. At a Christian forum I go to that has scrolling chat, they in chat forum are training a good AI. I said that I don't like that and they said that is ok you do not have to participate. Here we have had cooler than normal weather, but tomorrow it will be warmer. I read where a man that lives in Jacksonville FL. said it was hot temps. there, he said the temp. was 103, humidity 43%, heat index 113 and that is uncomfortable. Barbra you and I posted at the same time. haha that is funny, maybe I should put mothballs in the home, I am all for anything that will help, had another dust devil hit the mobile home yesterday, scattered some supplies that I had on the ground for repairs.

Good morning Fresh-Hope friends. Cannot believe that tomorrow is June 1st! In another month, we'll be halfway through 2019!!
One of my "other boys" -- Daniel's best friend since we moved here 16 years ago, Cody, is getting married tomorrow to a dear girl at church they've grown up with. Actually Daniel has several best friends that he's grown up with and they're all like brothers. I posted a picture on FB of them together, a couple of weeks ago, for posterity.
Cody is just 21 but he and Sara love the Lord and I pray they will have a long, wonderful, Christ-honoring marriage.
(Remember that John MacArthur favors Christian young people getting married at an early age! I think Cindy posted his sermon about it, a year or so ago? So full of encouragement!)
Daniel is going to be a groomsman in the wedding and I'm playing the piano (prayers please!!). I've been practicing non-stop. They've chosen a few non-traditional songs, but I am also playing 30 minutes of church music before the wedding begins at 4:00.
That's what's happening here at the moment. I need to get dressed for work now and run through all the songs one more time before heading out for the day.
Love to everyone!

I'm talking to Cheryl and she was in a bad car accident yesterday. She's OK although in a lot of pain. The people she hit are ok too, thankfully. So she needs a lot of prayer. Please don't say anything on Facebook though.
Yeah, I bet they say that a lot lol. I'm not going to because my computer isn't worth it. I have to get a new one, but that's impossible for now. So, I'll just hang on with this one until I can buy a new computer. I don't care for AI's either.....

Lord I pray for Cheryl and the other people that were involved in the accident. May your healing presence be with them restoring them with new strength as each hour passes. May they feel the uplifting of your presence Lord, blessing them with rest, healing and hope in you Jesus. In Jesus name I pray. Thank you Jesus for hearing my prayer.

Hi all,
Ive been helping out a horse event, we have local XC and showjumping comp, and we got roped into putting out the flags for the XC course . 13 yo daughter is horse mad, so its good to keep her busy. I spent the morning bouncing around in the back of the ute ( pickup ) and jumping out every so often to put flags up either side of the jumps. I hope we have good weather for the event tomorrow.
I had an interesting experience with God - every so often we have the big boss come down and tell everyone whats going on. I felt pressured to go and my boss was definitely keen I attend, however when I asked God He said nope...nope...nope. So here I am worried about upsetting my boss, but God was adamant. After the 10th time of asking God, He said "Its Me you should fear, not man."
Okaaayyyy then.. No more questions.....eep.
I got my bottom smacked by God.....I guess its good training in obedience. So of course I didnt go to this big pow wow, lesson learned :-) Hope all is well with everyone.
