Have you ever felt like the days are getting shorter and time is moving faster? Well, I do! My schedule is mega packed with fun and adventure. Now, mind you, I do appreciate being busy, however, there is not enough time, in the day to complete everything. I am just a tad tired. Going for a cup of coffee. I hope you all have a wonderful day.

Yes Ron and I feel time is moving faster, we always comment about that to each other. Glad you are having fun and adventure. Our words to others should be positive to uplift a person, people need to feel loved, we all have a chance to look outside ourselves and reach out to help someone else. Words of love can give needed hope to someone.

More storms yesterday and last night.
Our water was off again all day Tuesday because a water pipe burst and flooded a lot of area. There are still fans whirring day and night. I've been looking for another retirement community to live in but there isn't much to choose from. Hubby says we're better off here because we're close to our son. He is talking to the business office now to see if a ground floor apartment that faces the courtyard is available. Right now our balcony faces the parking lot and we're right above the main gate to the garage. There is so much noise and dust. I don't even like to be out on the balcony. These rooms should have been for storage, not an apartment.

We once lived in a studio apartment for one year, it was so small all we had in the apartment was a full size bed, we worked the night shift for 8 to 10 hours, I was glad to be able to move from that apartment after my lease was up, and to also ditch that job.
There are storms and high winds people are dealing with. Saw a picture of all the locust that were just in the country of Saudi Arabia, they were using shovels to remove the locusts. Strange things seem to be happening quickly.

Strange things seem to be happening quickly. We've also lived in very small places. When we first moved to NH, we lived in a one bedroom house that had one bathroom. Keep in mind though that I had to find room for 5 children and two adults in that little house! We were practically stacked on top of each other, but we lived in that house for 8 years. Then we moved into an apartment that was larger. It had three bedrooms but was horrible compared to the house! We lived there for 8 years too. Now, the kids are all grown up and living on their own and we have a two bedroom mobile home with an addition that makes it partially like a double wide. It really has three bedrooms but we use the one as an office. It's great! We've lived here since December of 2003, so coming up to 16 years. But just wait till you see my room in our Father's house!

Hi, im going to pray for Mark and Bruce and everyone in pain. Its awful to be in pain as it distorts your world and it sucks, I hate to hear of people suffering like that.
Sliding into winter here, we can get down to 14 F, and occasionally snow....
Loving God, we praise Him for just being Him. I see much evil in the world, how some humans remind me of coyotes....

Thanks Steve, your prayers are much appreciated! The doc put Bruce on a new medicine that's supposed to prevent the migraines. I don't know if it's working yet or not, but so far he hasn't had a bad one since he started taking it on Thursday night ... We're still kind of holding our breath.
not sure what season we're in here. One day it's in the 70's and like summer, and the next day it's back to winter at 31 degrees! Today it's raining yet again.

Maybe the storms are over for a while here. No rain today.
This morning the parking garage smelled of raw sewage. I went down to the main area about 30 minutes ago to get our mail and that area smelled too, but not as strong. I'm still looking for other places to live.

Hello Cindy, Lulu, Barbara, Margie, and FH family! Monday is the first day of the rest of your life. I spent most of my day Working and Reading. We are making a check list of what we are taking on the Road. We leave for Nashville on June 5th. We will be in Cheryl's neck of the woods, sometime around the later part of June. I will make the time, if she is up to it, to finally meet her. Will see. We are so excited about our tour. As soon as our Cd is completed I will make arrangements for everyone to get a copy. When we get to that time, I will let you know. Until then, I hope everyone had a decent day. Take Care and God Bless!

Good news! The docs think they know what's causing the migraines. The RA doc had previously thought that they were caused by the RA and the Methotrexate seemed to get rid of them for 5 years, but then they came back. Well, after checking the blood tests they'd ordered, he told us that it was pretty obvious that Bruce was having a flare, and that for him, it manifested as migraines. So he's putting him on prednisone temporarily to counter the flare, and switching him from taking the methotrexate orally to injecting it, because the injections seem to work tremendously better for some reason. The medication the primary doctor put him on doesn't seem to be working well, at least not yet as he's still been having the migraines, but he wants him to continue with that for now anyway, "just in case". At least the pain med works though, so he's not in horrible pain for long. The tests show too that it looks like the flare is close to being over now, thank the Lord! So this will be practice in case he needs the prednisone for another flare later. Bruce told the nurse at first that he'd just have me show him how to inject it and I was like, I don't think so! So he's going to go in on Friday and have her show him how to do it, and let me practice giving him the injection, as it's been many many years since I've done anything like that! Giving it to myself is one thing, but giving it to someone else...I want to practice first! I'm hoping he'll be able to do it himself, but want to be ready in case he wants me to do it, and he wants me to be ready too
Most doctors don't know that one of the symptoms of RA is migraines, but then most doctors don't know much about RA at all anyway.

Its been quite interesting watching here in Australia, the story of man of God, brave Israel Folau, talented Polynesian rugby player whose "crime" was posting a complete bible verse that just happened to mention liars, thieves and homosexuals would go to hell if they didn't repent. ( i.e. 1 Cor 6:9-10 )
Well....cat amongst the pidgeons. More like a fully gown Lion.
And.....it has Australia talking about Gods word. Bonus. Bigggg bonus.
What is noticible is how you see most of the powerful institutions & corporations who have sold out to support sinful things, trying to basically take down a righteous man who speaks Gods Word.
Its a rock that many people will be dashed to pieces against, God is using this to give the evil and foolish in our country of Australia a really really *REALLY* teeth rattling hard shake.
The Establishment I think thought this would be an easy "kill", but of instead of them throwing Israel Folau under the bus, God has reversed the bus over those who pridefully and evilly thought they had God cold.
And no matter how hard the God haters screech and wriggle and carry on like vultures, God has created a righteous and burning judgmental flame, that will burn all who try and put it out.
And......the harder they try, the brighter it burns, the more it hurts them....like covered n sores that get worse and worse....they just cant escape this. It is just brilliant to watch God in action...dealing with those of seared consciences....
And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that I shall lose none of those He has given Me, but raise them up at the last day.
( John 6:39 )
May God be praised for ever. Amen.

I'm afraid we'll be seeing a lot of that sort of thing and even worse soon. Here in NH, one of the VFW's has a table set aside that's set up for a single person to eat at, and a Bible is on the table by the plate. There's a plaque by the table that states the place setting is for veterans who gave their life for their country. It's been there for many years. But some how, some atheist saw it, and went nuts, calling in the aclu and is taking them to court because of the Bible. They're insisting that it's wrong to have that Bible on the table because it can't represent all veterans that way. (note that none of the veterans are saying this, only this one guy that happened to find out about it, and of course he's drumming up as much outside help as he can get.). Well, the club took the Bible away for a week while they thought (and prayed) about it, and then they put the Bible back on the table inside a secure glass case which is mounted to the table so no one could harm the Bible. I thought it was great! That's what's caused this guy to go ballistic. I don't know what the outcome in court will be, but it wouldn't surprise me if they're told they have to remove the Bible. In that case I have no idea what these vets will do. No matter what happens though, even if it looks bad, we can know that ultimately God is in control and all who slander Him and His Word will be judged and will pay for their crimes against God and His children.

Hello Ruthanne I was wondering about you, how you are doing, miss you not being here in chat.
I prayed that I would find the words to a 8th century Irish Hymn, "Be Thou My Vision," and I did find the words to the song, glad to find that so I wrote the words out in a notebook. I have ordered a new Christian music CD, a man named Robin Mark sings, he is also an Irish man, I will be getting that in the mailbox tomorrow.

Plus we're living during the end times when the Church is experiencing the great falling away, which we're obviously seeing now.... Jesus even said that many who call Him Lord, wouldn't be really saved and He would tell them He never knew them. Even with all that though, Jesus is winning, and soon it will be time for Him to come and get us! Hello Ruthanne I was wondering about you, how you are doing, miss you not being here in chat.

Happy Mother's Day to all my Christian sisters!! I hope this day is joyful for you!
Cindy, LOVED the song! Thank you for sharing it.
Mark, I remember a few posts back that you said you'd be in my neck of the woods, this year! Let me know when, OK? Send me a private message when you know where you'll be, because I would sure love to meet you and Shirley, in person, after all of these years. And I never piped up, when you said you'd share a CD of your songs. Is it too late to get one from you? I would sure love to hear it!
There are so many replies that I want to make, but am so far behind in that, that I'll hit on a few that I'm remembering, off the top of my head.
Margie, thank you, again, for the lovely cards that you send. And I wanted to comment on your quest to find a better place to live. Silly question, but did you do a search of the Dallas/Ft. Worth area? I saw a few places that look really nice, and the reviews are wonderful. One place in particular. Not so much great reviews, for where you are presently, so I am praying that you and hubby can get a new place, soon.
Marlene, you asked where are all the tea drinkers. Well, I drink tea too. And there's nothing so satisfying as a long steeped tea in a proper teapot. And you're right. They are very hard to find. My grandmother had a perfect teapot, and I asked her if I could have it. But, she already had it packed up, for storage when she was selling her home, so she said that I could get it later. Well........later never came, and I have yet to find one like it. It was ceramic and had a ceramic basket for loose tea, and I've never found one like it. Some have "looked" like hers, but no basket. The one she had, came from England.
Well...........I know there are more replies to make and I wish I could stay longer. But, the day is ticking away, and I need to get a few things done around here. Back to work, tomorrow.
I continue to pray for all of you. Lulu and Ron, I am curious how your moving plans are progressing. Keeping you in prayer over that. And for Cindy & Bruce, Lee & Stan, Mark & Shirley, Margie & Ed, Marlene and hubby (I can't remember his name), Barbara and Leonard, Kelley and David, Steve, Lorrie and John. And many more are in my prayers.

Hi Ruthanne!! We went to church for mother's day took Devon, and Hossanah's fiance's 2 children: Rylan and Aalyaiah ( sp? I never get it right, it's an odd way they spell it...some day I will get it right LOL).
It was great.
Then Daughter, granddaughter and hubbie gave me sweet mother day gifts.
I bought my daughter a tee ( from Christian Apparel ) with the verse: I am fearfully and wonderfully made....with pretty flowers on it. The tee shirt was very nice but.....
I wasn't sure of the sizing ..... some companies run small and other large.
So I ordered a large, thinking if it's a tad big, she can wear it over something or maybe it could be a night shirt......
Well, it runs waaaaay big ( more like a XXL) LOL I am hoping I can return it for maybe a small ( I was thinking medium first, but the large is soooooo big......).
Also our son sent an e-mail with some images of our 3rd grandchild, Liam, who is now 2.....so cute! :-)
Then in the afternoon I took a walk and Devon and Rylan came. I had about ten 2" x 3" laminated free Christian gospel track cards, and the boys helped place them various places for people to find. They really enjoyed doing that, as did I!
The track cards are so nice, ( lots of different images, verses etc.) the ministry sends about 30 free ones every month ( of course they could use a donation if possible :-) its called Bezeugen Ministries....you can find them online.

I'm glad you like the cards. Yes, I check out retirement apartments a lot. I'm surprised there isn't more to select from. We visited one that's close to Pastor Swindoll's church. I would be really interested in moving there just to be closer to that church. We've visited there and they have good teaching. But it's a very large building so hubby has a long slog with his regular walker. It would be easier for him if he uses his electric scooter.
My son and his family visited us yesterday. Our grandson and granddaughter returned home to Alabama this morning. We met them for breakfast at Chick-Fil-A.
Hugs to all.

Hope you had a good day too Cheryl! You all know I loved my mothers day gift from Jennifer and her family.... a bunch of my favorite ice cream, Hagan Daas coffee flavor!Hi Ruthanne!!
It sounds like you had a good day, which is wonderful! Hope this week is a blessing for you too!I'm glad you like the cards.
I have to say that we love your cards too Margie, they're always a a breath of fresh air! I'm glad you got to see your grandchildren over the weekend, that's really special as they had to travel to see you. I hope you're able to find someplace you'll really enjoy.
