Thanks Cheryl! Well things have been crazy here and I've promised to tell what's been going on, so here goes....
Back in around the first of December, all the pharmacies ran out of morphine. I would have been in a world of hurt if it wasn't for the Lord. He made sure that in the course of two years, I'd saved up enough to get me through that month that the pharmacies didn't have any. I hadn't saved a whole months worth of pills, but enough that with the Lord's help I didn't suffer at all.
Then, came January and my doctor, who's been pressured hard by my workers comp insurance and all the other insurance companies, as well as the government etc, felt he had to reduce how much morphine I get each month. So he took 15 pills out of my next prescription, and indicated that he'd be reducing it more each month. At first I was scared to death, but I knew the Lord was with me and that He wasn't surprised. How could I not know that after what He'd done for the last month! But I was angry at my doctor at first too. I had to constantly take my thoughts captive and replace them with the truth - that God was on His throne, not my doctor or the insurance companies etc. and ask His forgiveness for my thoughts, as I struggled to control them. Finally, after about a week, with the Lord's help, my thoughts were finally in line with His will, but I knew that my attitude would need a lot of help when it was time to see my doctor again. So I've been praying hard all month. I wanted to make sure that God's Will was done and that no matter what happened that I would glorify Him, and not come off as being angry, weepy, scared or anything other than trusting in my Savior.
I admit too that I've been praying for healing for a long time now. God has and does heal me often, He just hasn't healed me completely yet. But He will often reduce my pain, or even completely remove it for a time, when I ask. He's also healed my eyes in a sense, as my eye doctor told me almost 10 years ago that I'd be blind in 5 years and I most certainly am not! Not only am I not blind though, but I haven't needed a new prescription for my glasses in all that time; and for my entire life I've needed a new prescription every 3 years! On top of that, I also have what I call "goop" growing on the back of the nerve to my eye. I call it that because I can't for the life of me ever remember the medical name for it. Let's just say it's not a good thing, and the doc's been watching it carefully for years. That too has stayed exactly that same as it was the day the doc told me I'd be blind soon! It's like the Lord just froze my eyes in that moment and hasn't allowed anything to change in them at all! While he hasn't healed my stomach or bowels, He has helped me control the symptoms better, and again, when the pain is too much, and I ask, He always helps me with it. Anyway, when this happened, it also occurred to me that the Lord could want to use this to heal my back, or at least remove the pain. I thought maybe He might simply cause the pain to be much better so I wouldn't need the pills that were taken away. I wouldn't put anything past Him, as I know He can do anything He wants to. So I focused on that, and the knowledge that if nothing else I'd be completely healed in Heaven, and that helped me straighten out my attitude. However, I don't mean to imply that I was counting on Him to heal me or remove the pain, as I know that pain and trials are used to make us more like Jesus, and that's what I want even more than I want to be free of the pain. I just looked at both possibilities and decided that I couldn't lose no matter what happened.
I also know that my heart is deceitful and corrupted and that I can't count on knowing what's best for me or what's right, but that God does. So I asked that He would cause my doctor to do what was right and what was best for me, and asked others to pray that as well. And that's exactly what He did! My doctor asked me how I'd done with less medication and I told him that I'd dealt with it, since I had no choice. He then told me that he would give those pills back to me if I told him I needed them. I decided to ask him to let me try going without for one more month, explaining that I wanted to see if the pain was really bad enough that I couldn't do without them or if I could deal with it. I felt like this past month wasn't a good trial as I'd been too stressed out to know for sure during the first part of it. Now I wanted to try it knowing the Lord would guide me to know what was best. He agreed and told me to just call him if I needed more. He assured me that he wouldn't be taking anything away from me that I needed. (which was totally opposite of what he'd originally told me a month ago!)
I've been reading Genesis and now Exodus and the Lord often changes people's hearts to do what He wants them to do, but this is the first time I've actually seen it happen right before my eyes! It's amazing when you think about it. He doesn't just make them do what He wants them to do, He makes them want to do what He wants them to! Seeing the Lord do that, is what made me decide to give it another try. I want to make sure that I too am doing what's best for me!
So thank you to those of you who have prayed for me, I really appreciate it!

Cindy, what an AWESOME testimony!!! And it is exactly what I've been praying for, for you!! And for Bruce too! God changed your doctor's heart, and He's working on yours too! And from the sound of it, He is making great strides to heal you! I will continue my prayers, and praises for Him. I just love to hear things like this. God is always watching, always loving and always right there. And the only thing He asks in return, is for our trust, our love and our belief. And to follow His word in everything we say and do. That's hard sometimes, but we are all a work in progress. But, I trust Him.
Thank you for sharing that with us, Cindy. You made my whole evening.

Wow...amazing that the topic is trusting God.
My testimony - I recently had an amazing thing happen - It was a Red Sea moment( egyptian army behind, sea in front.... ), where God was telling me not to worry about my employment that was rapidly running out, and if things didn't work out as God said they would......I dont want to even think about it.
Anyway, God kept telling me to *trust* Him. Step into the water in faith.....( mind you, my stupid flesh was doing running around, screaming.... )
So after freaking out, I had peace but was still a bit nervous ( don't you love the flesh?). I've never experienced anything like it.
But bit by bit, I watched God move and shape the situation in a HUGE way, so that not only was I employed again, but I got an extra bonus!!
Now I've learnt to trust God in what was a truly heart stopping moment, and He and I had some really really great conversations in the midst of the battle, I just loved it!
In scripture, we often see when things look bad "....but God....."
Truly we serve and amazing God. I'm having trouble putting my gratitude and appreciation for God into words, but He knows I really am super appreciative.
Thank you God of Abraham and Issac, of David, of the Apostles, and us here.
You truly are the one true living God.
Maybe this can help someone.
Amen!

Thanks everyone!
What a wonderful testimony Steve, that's awesome! I wish I could say that I've learned to trust God in bad situations, but the best I can do is say that I'm learning to do so more each time. You'd think after all the miracles He's given me that I'd have no trouble trusting Him, but It seems like I always have to overcome my flesh first, and then I can trust Him. It's one reason I can't wait to get rid of this awful sin nature! To help me with this I've memorized Psalm 112:7: "The righteous will not fear bad news, their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord"
My doc also ordered an xray of my shoulder. He thinks I may have a torn rotator cuff, so now I have to see the orthopedic doctor in a couple of weeks.
I hope everyone's having a good day today!

Awww Cindy! Bummer, more pain, I know ( head wise anyway) good could come from it, but I still have not learned to embrace pain. I get it can draw us closer to the Lord, but sometimes, I find I can only focus on the pain because it is so intense. arrggghhh sigh!
so yeah I totally agree with what you wrote:
"It's one reason I can't wait to get rid of this awful sin nature!
I also love the verse you quoted:

Well, today was an interesting day. We had tornado warnings all around us. We are right across the street, from the courthouse, so we had no trouble hearing the sirens, so we could take cover. Tornadoes hit Western Kentucky and they had to declare a state of emergency, but thank the Good Lord that no one was killed or badly injured. One man's pickup truck got in the path of a mangled grain silo and it wrapped him up in it, and flipped his truck upside down. But, he came away from it with only a minor cut.
A church classroom was hit, badly. The roof was completely torn off. There were 50 people inside, at the time. Thirty-nine of them were children. But, they were able to get to the "safe room" and no one was hurt! Then about an hour later, my area was hit, and 3 counties had touch down. I do believe it was the same tornado that hit Paducah, and never lifted. It seemed to travel from West to East, and then up into Southern Indiana, and across, into Ohio!
But, all is quiet on the homefront, now. They said we would have winds all night, but it seems quiet out there now. The Lord has calmed the winds.

When the pain is that bad, I often just say the Lord's Name over and over. Out loud if I'm alone, or in my mind if Bruce is home and awake. He knows our hearts, so He knows we want relief, especially as we've generally told Him so at other times. So I set it up with Him that when the pain is really bad, that I'll just call on His Name and He in turn will comfort me, and relieve the pain some. After all, our God is a God who heals us. (Exodus 15:26) David and I'm sure many people over the years have called on the Lord to relieve their pain and/or be healed. Personally, when He relieves my pain, I consider it a healing. The pain doesn't usually just suddenly disappear. Usually it slowly but surely gets less intense until I find I can bear it and think more clearly. And then I just thank Him and praise Him and or just spend some time thinking about Him. “O LORD my God, I called to you for help and you healed me.” (Psalm 30:2) “Be merciful to me, LORD, for I am faint; O LORD, heal me, for my bones are in agony.” (Psalm 6:2) I actually began doing that even before I was hurt. I did it for emotional pain, which can be just as intense. I don't know how many people I've told to "Just call on His Name. There's power in the Name of Jesus!" whether they're hurting emotionally, or physically, or scared or whatever has them in it's grips so they can't think. Of course the person has to know Him and His Word, but for those who call out "Jesus!" He's always right there! I've always believed that's why people have such a hard time hearing the Name of Jesus, much less saying it. (the unsaved I mean). It's because there really is power in His Name and it convicts them when they hear it.

I won't know for sure until I see the doctor in a couple of weeks. But from what I know, if it's a bad tear it would require surgery, and that's not something I want to consider, so I'm praying it's not torn at all, but perhaps just strained or something. If that's the case they usually give injections for the pain and physical therapy. I know all the PT for it, and once I know for sure that's what it is, I can do those myself. It's not fun, but it works. It just takes time. Basically it will heal itself with the help of the exercises; but those are important so you don't lose range of motion.
I'm so glad everyone was OK! Tornadoes scare me! I really hate the ones that are spawned after a hurricane too. It just never seemed fair because you'd think you were safe once the hurricane was over, only to discover it had spawned a bunch of tornadoes! I can't remember any longer when the tornado season is for you guys....Has it already started or was this just an oddball one?
Cheryl, the honey tea has held this cold at bay for sure..it’s raw cinnamon honey! Yum yum so so good! I’m putting it on my Berry’s for breakfast at work also! Wicked good!
That does sound good! I just told my daughter last night to drink hot honey lemon tea for her cold! I hope you feel completely back to normal soon!

I have a healthy respect for tornadoes. They are mean and nasty and I just get out of their way! We've all seen the horrid destruction that they cause. But, given the choice, I'd still rather outrun a tornado (and have done it multiple times), and see it literally turn and go the other way. I've prayed to the Lord, "Please LORD, please lift up that funnel cloud and send it away! Please send it somewhere, where there are no people." And SO many times, He did just that. And sometimes the tornado will just dissipate. Given the choice between being there or in a part of the country with hurricanes and mud slides, and fires, I'll pick the tornado belt. Because if you are faced with any of those others, they are going to stay the path, and not turn, not disappear, and just keep on their path of destruction. There's no lifting, and if the Lord doesn't bring rain, they just keep destroying. Then the Lord brings the rain, and the fires are gone. Then the mud slides begin. It seems like a never ending vicious circle that California has to endure. And then the hurricanes on the East Coast are very frightening to me. I was in a couple of storms in Florida. And there is a HUGE testimony attached to one of them, that I've told many times, because it still leaves me in AWE over what the Lord does. But, that storm was scary enough. Hopefully never again.
Cindy, in answer to your question, about the time of year for tornadoes. This is actually the time of year for them, with Spring coming in just a few days. And that's what it used to be, that I remember growing up. But, now it seems that every season brings the tornadoes, anymore. We now have winter tornadoes. Those are weird to me. We have summer tornadoes, with huge hail. The most frightening of them all are night tornadoes. The only time you can see one, at night, is when the lightning flashes. But, then it's right on top of you and there's no running.......it's there, bearing down on you. You cannot run from what you cannot see. When the sirens sound at night, you just find a place to duck down and hope and pray that it will just stay up there, and not touch down.
There was one of the stories from the recent devastation in Alabama. A couple got into their bath tub. Their home was totally destroyed, but they survived. They knew they were moving, flying in the air, but stayed put. The house was completely lifted off of its foundation, with them inside, in the bathtub enclosure. And then the recent story I posted above, where the man was wrapped up inside the tangle grain silo. I can't help but know that it was the Lord wrapping these people in His almighty arms, protecting them!

With all the destructive weather I wonder how crops are going to grow this year, that and 5G tech. which will kill the bees. I have listen to a Christian couple talk about 5G and it makes me think the rapture will have to happen soon because of the destructive effects it will have on life, and there is talk about 6G for the future, the President mentioned it. We have lots of rain here, I am concerned about mud slides, many large rocks and boulders are on hillsides. We had high wind here, then the next day I heard that in one place in NM got 100 mph wind.

Those are awesome testimonies Cheryl! Yes, I lived in Florida for a long time and have been through many hurricanes and tornadoes. They're no fun, that's for sure! In fact, my first two babies were born literally right after a hurricane and the tornadoes it spawned! You'll have to remind me of your testimony though, I can't remember it....
The weather is changing in readiness for the Tribulation I suspect. We're seeing mini previews of the hell they're going to try to live through. There are no "safe places" anymore. Places that normally don't get tornadoes, like NH, now do, and destruction is everywhere.

What is 5G? We've been getting a lot of high winds here lately too. Stay safe!Hope everyone has a good weekend. My hubby got his electric wheelchair today. I think it will help him a lot. He has more and more trouble walking. The sun is out but it was cool this morning. That's wonderful for him Margie! I'm so glad he was able to get one. I'm sure it will help a lot!

Hi all,
Yes God has been good to me, I'm so grateful! Amen.
5G is the latest cellular network, it runs at much higher speed than 4G ( 10x faster ). It uses TerraHz frequency range ( some scientists believe these frequencies can damage DNA ). Those airport scanners use same frequency roughly. 3 GHz to 70 GHz is the range roughly for 5G in the USA.
It will be used for the IoT revolution, but that means a lot of stuff in every day items communicating on the cellular network like your fridge, newer childrens toys and washing machines and newer electronics like stereos, wifi routers etc etc will all be sending data out via 5G to who knows who.
If you assume Satan will use the IoT to spy on everyone and everything ( because Satan cant be everywhere and is *not* omnipotent like God is ), this is how he could create a control grid over humanity. Now imagine linking a chip embedded in peoples hands into IoT as well........you can see how it could go.
Personally, I dislike the idea of IoT in my home, and I work in IT and have an engineering background, so I should be a nerd and love this stuff - but quite the opposite.
5G is very susceptible to its signal being interrupted by trees, buildings etc, which means to compensate for this, it means cell towers *everywhere* almost down to every 2nd street ( and possibly even in the street ) having them. But hey, were told the latest tech is good for us..........not.....
This also means that tracking a cellular phone handset becomes super fast and super accurate ...... but the Son of Perdition ( Satan ) in the Bible is said to create a crushing dictatorship over all mankind in the last days, so this makes sense of being able to spy on everyone and track everyone in real time - because Satan isn't omnipotent like God is. I see 5G as another proof of the rapidly running down of time in the Last Days.

I see 5G as another proof of the rapidly running down of time in the Last Days. Thanks for explaining that to me Steve. Yeah, I'm sure Satan will use everything he can. He's not called the Prince of the Air for nothing. I always thought this verse was interesting as all our media is mostly over the air waves. “in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience—” (Ephesians 2:2) It's certainly going to be interesting to see how this all plays out. We're so very close to the end, which makes me so excited....I feel like a kid on Christmas eve!

Just so everyone knows, Mark has asked to be a Mod again and I've returned him to that position - I figure I can use all the help I can get I just wanted you all to know so you wouldn't be surprised. He's especially interested in the prayer request forum, although he is a mod on all of them.
I wanted to remind everyone too that all the forums have been changed (a long while ago) so that any of you can start a new thread in them if you want to. I may have missed a few, so if you go to start a thread and can't, just let me know and I'll fix it for you. OK?

Hey Mark, good morning and good morning you all. I am having my favorite breakfast this morning, apple pie and coffee. hehe. I made a lot of potato soup yesterday. For the last two days I have been making freezer meals, I would like to only have to go to the grocery store once a month, but so far it has been once every two weeks. Now I am starting something new, that is making veggie burgers, hope they turn out good, I will be freezing them also. I was able to buy carrots with the leaves. The leaves are edible, don't know if you have ever eaten carrot leaves, they can't be eaten well raw, to tough, but I cooked them with my potatoes in a pressure cooker to go in the potato soup and I like the taste of the leaves cooked.

The Lord showed me something that really surprised me today, so I just had to write about it. (as usual lol) Actually, it felt good to write about what I'm studying again. I miss doing that. Anyway, if anyone has time and is interested here it is.

After all this time I finally figured out that we can get notified of new posts or threads on this forum too! It has to be done for each forum. So I did it for the Staff one which is simply called, "Reported posts etc." and saved a graphic showing how it's done here. Notice the name of the forum at the top left of the graphic. You do the same for every forum. So you don't go into a thread, you do this at the top of which ever forum you want to be notified about posts on.

Cindy, I am going to send you and whomever, out our DVD's that we are making from the tour. I will let everyone know the closer we get to the production. I have written 6 songs that are going on the label, this coming June. " Carry My Cross", is one of my songs. I am not going to go any further with this because I really want to surprise everyone when its completed. I will be around the board, tonight. Have a good evening .
