could you [please please pray for me? I didn't sleep at all again last night due to an increase in many of my symptoms. I've probably had only 4 hours of light dozing kind of sleep since Friday. Plus, as you know, I'm pretty sure I have a sinus infection, although it could also be an increase in the Sjorgrens disease symptoms as well. Even the RLS (restless legs syndrome) has come back with a vengeance after being controlled for about 20 years! It's crazy! It's like my entire body has gone insane. It all started on Wednesday, in fact that was my first bad night. None of my tricks (home remedies) or prescription meds work for any of my symptoms all of a sudden! I can't concentrate of think clearly because I'm so tired. I've prayed and prayed and have been literally shocked when the Lord didn't seem to answer at all. He has reassured me this morning that He has heard me and is with me and loves me and is working. I think I'm supposed to wait in expectation of relief and help, trusting in Him. But I also know I really need prayer support as I can't think well enough to even pray very well anymore. The best relief I have, as always is when I'm in His Word. I'll call the doctor tomorrow and see if he can see me early. I'm already scheduled to see him Wednesday because my blood pressure was so high last Wednesday when I saw him.... lol if it wasn't for spell check, you wouldn't be able to read this lol. Thanks everyone. Sorry to have to bother you with this...

Saying prayer Cindy. There is this guy in chat, Jeff, that lives in his RV, he was in NM and traveled to Long Beach CA to spend Christmas with his elderly mother, right away he had problems, neighbor called police and he got ticketed for not having a 72 hour permit to park the RV in his mother driveway, so he was fined 60 dollars, then he had to find a place to park the RV and that was expensive, and get back to his mom's house, then he lost his license to the RV, he was not having a good visit like they both hoped for and the mom is upset wants to talk to the councilwoman, now instead of being with his mother for Christmas he has driven 6 hours away and is in Lake Havasu AZ.

Attachment Deleted Yup, it’s Monday again....good weekend though, save one thing....
our daughter in laws grandma passed Friday....it’s what she wanted, I believe she new Christ, but not sure if she was more spiritual then a child of God.....not sure how to explain it.....but she basicly killed herself, she stopped eating and drinking water, she got her house all in order with her son and with Jess...and others in the family. She was 91, healthy, and sharp but tired, and waned to go home! Jess is ok, but her grandma was a huge influence in her life....and our Ashlynn took it ok, but she was sad.....cried though church....but then after she was playing and doing better....she just needed to get the tears out is all....
so now back to that dysfunctional world out there....I do have work to go in to though, so that makes it’s a little easier.....

Our daughter and her kids left this morning for their new home in Alabama. We had breakfast with them early at Chick-fil-A. Last Friday her husband drove there with the 2 dogs, 1 cat and the houseplants.
Their house sold 1 hour after it was listed and the buyers said they would take the house as is, with no repairs. That was a huge help.
I miss them already but I know that this is a good move for them.

Thank you all so much for your prayers! I am feeling better thanks be to the Lord. The only thing I can figure out that might have caused this is that it either is simply a consequence of being sick or a consequence of a change in my meds, but neither of those totally makes sense. I'm hoping it's over with, BUT because of the possibility of it being the meds, I returned to my old ones and as I said, I'm much better now. But I have to determine for sure if it was the med so tomorrow I'll go back to the new one. I'm just praying hard that it won't happen again, because that was just awful! So if you all would pray for me one more time, I'd really appreciate it!Saying prayer Cindy. Thanks so much Anna! I stayed wrapped up in my prayer blanket that whole time too!
That poor man and his mother! How sad for them both! I hope they're able to get it straightened out. Thank you so very much Lulu!!! Yup, it’s Monday again....good weekend though, save one thing....

That's so sad..... I pray that God will comfort all who loved her. It's so hard when there's even a chance that someone's not saved. In my devotional today, MacArthur said that it was important to warn people we're unsure of about what would happen if they didn't didn't respond to Jesus. His closing words really got to me: "If you want to see unbelieving friends, relatives, or associates come to Christ, warn them. Let them see the passion in your heart and your love for them. Please don’t allow anyone to slip into eternal destruction without being warned sufficiently." Mainly his words got to me because I often feel responsible for my Mom going to Hell, even though I was only a child. I did talk to her about it frequently, but obviously didn't do a good enough job. But I also know the Lord wouldn't have left such an important thing only up to a child either. I'm sure my mother had many opportunities to accept the Truth. It's just hard because it is my Mom and I love her. I often have wished I could go back in time and tell her all I've learned as an adult, but then I think too that if it would have saved my Mom for someone to do that, the Lord would have found someone to do that for her..... I'm glad you've at least got work to do today. I hope your day goes wonderfully! Our daughter and her kids left this morning for their new home in Alabama. Wow, that's amazing how quickly their house sold - obviously something the Lord did! My heart aches for you though as I know you'll miss them, and I know they'll all be missing you and your hubby too. Praying the Lord will comfort and encourage you all.

Cindy, please don't ever hesitate to ask us to pray!! And please don't feel bad about asking us, and you are NEVER a bother!! I am happy to see that you are a little better, and I pray that you were able to get some much needed rest. I will continue to pray for you, so that the new meds will work for you, instead of making you feel so awful.
You know something? I knew something was wrong, this weekend. But, all I had to do was come here to see if you posted, but for some reason, didn't think of it. So, I felt that it was a sign to pray for you and Bruce. I actually thought it might be Bruce and almost asked you on FB if it was. I just now put the two together and realized that the Lord really DID put it in my heart to pray for you. I get that now and again. An urgency to pray for someone. Sometimes I don't know who it is, so I pray anyway, because the Lord always knows.
Margie, wow, the house sold so quickly. That's awesome. I'm glad that your daughter made it to their new home, safely.
Lulu, I'm so sorry for your loss. I too lost my sister-in-law, Michael, on Wednesday. Ed's older sister. I feel so sad for her, because she was alone when she died. Gene had to go out of town. Her other sister, Margie, couldn't reach her by phone, so she called Gene and he tried, to no avail. So, Margie went over there, and found her on the living room floor. Michael died on their 49th wedding anniversary.
Anna, that was so sad about the man and his mother. And that is ridiculous about the ticketing for the RV. And that neighbor needs a lesson in butt-in-skiness. (I just made that word up) Actually my mother did. She'd call a busy body person a buttinsky.
Hi Steve!!
I got to talk with my Brother on Sunday. It was an awesome visit!! I wanted to listen to his voice longer, but we were on there so long, my phone died and he had to call me back. Then we talked for another hour! Loved it! But, his grandson was getting very impatient and wanted him all to himself, so I said "Hey Bro, I love you, but your grandson is having none of this, so I'll let you go." LOL, his grandson, Kayson, calls my brother "My Man" instead of Grandpa!

Hi all....
We have horse agistment fields at the end if our road, now after a lot of rain we have feed for the horses, who were moved elsewhere while the feed was low.
Anyway, the horses are back, and thats a wonderful thing....we have chestnut, bays and a cob pony as well i think. My daughter has 'adopted' one horse who loves using his muzzle to check her pockets for treats. Nothing nicer than hearing them calling to thier mates each morning....

dogstaff, glad your daughter and family made the move safely! wow, nothing like cutting it close to Christmas with all that unpacking to do! wonder woman!
well this weekend, friday nite, Ron and I are headed out on another road trip, to my Cousin Judies, the more we've talked about this and we even talked with Judie on the phone, the forever thing is up to her kids, Joe and Doug. so if it isn't forever, move in and make this home.....then our answer will be no....so we are still looking at AZ....but our house isn't selling....we are still getting calls though, so prayerfully after the first of the year when the market ticks back up.............but the Lord has His reasons, and it's His timing.........

My neighbor has a white horse, it has been on their property since it was a colt, so I see the horse everyday, I will miss the horse if it ever goes away, another group of horses that used to live nearby are now gone because the man that owned them died. Steve I hope you take pictures, or video of your daughter with the horse. I wish I would have taken a video of the group of horses that used to be here. There is frost on the ground here, fed the birds birdseed this morning on the ground near a bush. A raven that stops by stopped by this morning at his usual spot on top of the telephone poll, and something has been eating banana peels. I like to freeze bananas for when I make smoothie shakes.

Thanks Cheryl! I had a feeling I desperately needed prayer support. I'm actually beginning to think it might have been a demonic attack, as nothing else really makes any sense. And God telling you to pray, makes a demonic attack even more likely. Sadly, it was one thing I never even thought of at the time, but then I was so sick it was hard to think or concentrate at all. Hopefully it won't happen again. I'll know for sure tonight, assuming I have to take that med today.
I was sorry to hear about your sister in law. That has to be hard on you too. But I'm so glad you finally got to talk to your brother! I'm sure that made your day!

Sunny here but the wind is cold. I took more stuff to the resale store. I'm sorting through Christmas stuff next. We don't put up a tree anymore so I know I can get rid of some Christmas decorations.
Lulu, thank you for the Angel Christmas card. And many thanks for the hugs. I sure could use them. Best wishes for your trip.

Hey everyone! Christmas is just 4 days away. Are you all ready?!?
I've only read down through the end of page 1 in this Chat thread; it was still Thanksgiving at that point. Here is our update:
Getting ready to work today, then am off for a week. My mother is driving over from GA tomorrow to spend a few days!
Daniel is home from school for several weeks, although he'll be going on a Cru retreat after Christmas. He was thankful to make it through his first semester as a sophomore and appreciates your prayers for his health and classes. He passed the 3 "biggies" - engineering, physics, and calculus - all with a B! Definitely God was at work, giving him understanding. Also, he went for allergy re-testing on Monday since he's been sick practically all fall; nothing new showed up, mostly trees/grass/some molds, so we suspect it's hidden mold in his apartment causing the illness. He has to live there through the spring. Timothy turned 25 last week. He and his pup Nala are still here with us, but he's anxious to get back out into his own place. Problem is, most apartments won't allow pit bulls, so not sure what's going to happen there. The new job that he started in October is going well, so that's a praise. They flew him down to Florida for work and he came home and told me the life story of several random strangers he met at the airport, and I mean details. That boy never meets a stranger.
My last living uncle passed away on Tuesday at the age of 84. I hadn't seen him in several years. He was my father's older (& only) brother.
Well I better get up and finish getting ready for work. Hope you all have a blessed Christmas week.
Love and prayers for a beautiful holiday for each of you!

Just caught up reading.....I've been sick with a cold ( and before my cold, Leonard was sick). I am hoping we will both be better and able to take the kids to the CHRIST-mas church service.
I am praying for you Cindy.
I need to go to the Bible study tho, before I fall asleep again.

I'm sorry to hear about your Uncle passing away, that's too bad, and especially hard to deal with around the holidays. I'm not really ready for Christmas lol, but I'm as ready as it's going to get I guess. I'm so glad that God answered our prayers and Daniel got through those subjects, that's great! It's hard to think of the boys being that old....I still tend to think of them being much younger lol.... but I do that with my own as well.

I'm sorry you've been sick too Barbara. I was sick again yesterday. It seems to come and go now. Weird. But I hope you'll be able to get a good nights sleep and feel better tomorrow. I have to run now, but will try and get back to the Bible study tomorrow, ok?
But just in case, I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas!
I love you my friends! God bless you all!

Hope you all have a great weekend. The kids are coming over today, then they'll be leaving to go to Bob's parents in Maine after Church tomorrow. But they'll be back right after Christmas and then we'll have our Christmas! I'll try to pop in here to see you all before Christmas day too.

Shirley and I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas. We are doing ok. My pop sent me a belated Birthday Card , today and I got to talk to him about God today. He is slowly listening to me about our Lord Jesus' Christ. I actually felt that he maybe seeing the light. I sent him a NIV Bible , yesterday. I just feel that the more we talk, my pop seems to being enjoying our conversation. I have planted the seed and we will see where this goes. I really believe that my Father in heaven is opening a door for my pop. Time will tell. I just thought I would share this with all of you tonight. May God Bless each and everyone of you.
Cindy and everyone, you are always in my prayers. Glad to hear Cindy that you are feeling better. Good night.

Good night. What wonderful, wonderful news!!!! I'll be praying your dad will be saved and I'll get to meet him in Heaven! Praise God!!!! May you and Shirley have a wonderful Christmas this year! What great news Mark!!! Now that is the kind of CHRIST-mas present money cannot buy, but is worth more than any worldly material gift!
Also wish everyone a Merry CHRIST-mas!!! Amen! I hope we hear of more Christmas gifts like that! You have a great Christmas too!

We still have to sit with my cousins son's and talk...we'll be going up again in a couple weeks...Cuz is there all alone...none of us is liking that....
tomorrow we'll spend the morning/afternoon with Ron's siblings and dad, and at our Netty's house in the evening...with Matt, Jess and Ash, and a few more friends...Jazzy is next weekend...

Lulu I don't need to watch a soap opera, I am entertained by seeing your graphics and what is going on new in your life, pictures are always nice, looking forward to reading about your decision as to where you are going to end up living at, in CA or AZ.

Merry Christmas everyone!
We had a really nice time. On Christmas eve, after I finished wrapping everything, we took gifts to all our neighbors and to Bruce's cousin. That was a lot of fun. We stayed and visited for a short time with each of them. Then on Christmas we had a nice quiet morning. I finally got to call Cheryl and it was great talking to her. Bruce made the whole dinner. It was fun to watch him running around the kitchen trying to get everything ready at the same time LOL. He did a great job though and it tasted great. I did the dishes and then we just relaxed for the rest of the night. In fact, I relaxed so much that I fell asleep in my chair right after dinner, and didn't wake up till 8 pm! I was totally shocked! Usually it's the other way around lol. We both went to bed shortly after that and I slept like a log, not waking up till 10 am and that never happens! I guess I must have been a bit tired lol.

Bruce is back to work today. So all is quiet again.
