That's much better!
yeah, I guess it would have helped if I'd told you which son it was, huh? I'm sorry! It's my youngest son, Christopher. It really was nice getting to talk to him.
Lorrie, your mothers day weekend sounds like it was great! I saw your surprise on facebook and was thrilled for you! That was wonderful that you got to talk with each other too!
Whenever I hear about one of you guys talking to another one, I always ask myself, "now why don't you do that???" I always plan to, but then I space it out and forget. I'm really bad about calling people, for that very reason. Even my own kids. By the time supper's over and the dishes are cleaned up, which is generally when I'd make any calls, I wind up falling asleep in my chair.
Your mother's day weekend sounds like it was great too Lulu! I'm so very glad you were able to enjoy it. You're so very blessed to be able to have such a good relationship with the other grandparents too!
I'm not sure if this is the right one or not as I didn't listen to it, but it's by Evangelist Anita Fuentes and called: "DHS, Fema Detention Camps, Somali's & Raw Footage."
Anna, did you see my reply to you?
Kelly, I'm not sure what your talking about when you said you had to check your profile... sorry, but my brain is on vacation lately I think.
I replied to your PM Kel. Sorry it took me so long, but I wanted to pray about it first.....
Guess since I'm running way behind as usual, I'd better go take care of the bible study thread and then see what other trouble I can get into before I have to get my chores done around the house...
I wanted to mention too, that if you notice we're missing someone, please feel free to send them a message on facebook or an email or whatever. I've already sent emails, but I think some folks aren't getting them as the emails are probably winding up in their junk mail. It's hard for me to send messages on facebook, so I try to avoid that as much as possible.

Good morning Cindy, I am not sure what reply you are asking if I saw, so I will guess it is the reply that said how to send a private message, yes I saw that, but I haven't read it yet, I know it is there and I will read it soon and send a message. love, Anna

Hi Margie, you must be nervous with all the tornadoes that the state of Texas has been having, especially over this last weekend.
Yes, tornadoes are really scary. Read in the Ft. Worth newspaper this morning that a tornado hit a small town named Van (in East Texas). We don't know anyone there but we've been there. Our children and now our grandchildren attend a Christian camp called Sky Ranch that is near Van. I checked their site this morning and there wasn't any damage at the camp. But a young couple were killed during the tornado, although their daughter survived. Cleaning the kitchen today. Cleaning out cupboards. Sometimes I think the Clutter Fairy brings things in and stashes them in my cupboards! Hugs.

Anna, that is hilarious!!! I love it! Don't think I've seen any of those (have seen a few others, but none of these I don't think.) Two ladies (best friends) from church had that first one, BFF, happen last weekend when one of them fainted and had to go to the hospital by ambulance. I visited her in the hospital this morning before she was finally discharged this afternoon. They ran every test in the book before finally diagnosing her with diverticulitis.
Lulu, haha, guess I can't hide my Atlanta accent, even if I wanted to. A dear friend of mine who grew up in South Georgia was carefully trained by her father to speak without a trace of accent, which is amazing considering her mother has an extreme deep South drawl. Her father had been a radio announcer and didn't want his children sounding like hicks. LOL!
Cindy, I always wish we could all chat more on the phone also. I often think about you specifically but never know when a good time for you would be, and if you happen to be having a bad pain day, I don't want to make you use up your spoons talking on the phone!! I don't really talk much on the phone either, mostly just to my sister (even moreso than my parents).
Thank you for posting the youtube link also; after Anna told us what to look up, I had already found it and listened up to about the 20 minute mark. Wow that is troubling.
Margie, glad to hear your family is safe with all that bad weather you've been getting. It hasn't been too bad here, but a few times I thought it might be. Yesterday as I drove Daniel to work there was a severe storm warning in effect and since he's working in a little diner with lots of glass I said, "Do you remember what to do if a tornado is coming?" [Which I even hated to mention because he's always gotten so nervous about that kind of weather, but I had to.] "Cry??" he asked. "Haha, NO!" I said, and reminded him of what to do. "Then can I cry???" he asked and I said, "No, then you PRAY!!!" Thankfully, nothing came of that storm, we didn't even get any rain.
Ruthanne and Cheryl, has the weather been bad for you also? You are all sort of in that region that's been getting hit. I pray you all stay safe.
Kel & Seven, hope you two have a restful night. Hope I haven't skipped anyone, but if I have, hello to you too.

Hi, just a quick hello. Been busy and not feeling all that great lately. So, haven't spent much time on the machine. Trying to get yard work (landscaping) done, but it hurts so much and it's so hot out there. And freezing at night. Garden is looking pretty good though. I'll try to get back here eventually. Don't know what's wrong with me, but no energy and threw up in my sleep 3 nights ago, and have felt like throwing up ever since. Every time I eat. dunno.

LOL Anna those are great!!
Thank you cindy..
My mothers day was really nice, the kids got me dirt and seeds roflol.. which i loved! and a few flowers and a bundle of roses.. lol.. however, the seeds needed to be germinated first.. I just threw them in the new dirt and said.. lets give this a whirl!! (they didn't know i normally get starter plants.. lol) then Killian and Devyn took me out to lunch on the waterfront.. it was a really pretty day..
Mom and her puppy are doing great..i will have to call today to see if she picked a name for the little one..
**Andrew Megan's dad had a couple of heart attacks last night.. **Sorry to text you Leigh but i didn't know what else to do.. I hope it wasn't too late** I called my mom and we all were praying for him, while the kids were up there he became stable. He had gone in a few days prior to clear two blocked arteries but he is a diabetic and while he was there, his kidneys failed. a couple days later he was cleared to go home, last night he went into cardiac arrest. but it sounded like congestive heart failure the way killian was describing it.. prayers for the family is appreciated. (as Megan's parents are sadly going through a divorce)
Its just been one of those weeks..

Good morning everyone.
Cheryl, I am so sorry to hear you've been sick. I've been thinking about you, wondering how you're doing since you haven't posted much recently. I know all of us get busy at times and don't have a chance to post, but I was concerned about you and now you tell us you're not feeling well. I will pray you are better soon. *Hugs*
Kelley, sounds like you had a nice Sunday with Killian an Devyn, going to lunch and getting the dirt and seeds! (And flowers & roses.)
So thankful to hear that Megan's dad stabilized last night. I am so glad you texted me about it -- don't apologize! -- and please never feel bad to call, text, or get in touch with me any way you need to (same goes for anybody else who has my numbers).
All right, I need to get busy here. Talk to you all later.

A windy day here today in AZ, with unstable air blowing in different directions and we will get the rain on Saturday. It seems that when we have unstable air blowing a day or two later there is a tornado in a state to the east or north east. We are going to be feeding some farm animals for the next two weeks. Ron went into the pigpen at Bucky's place and ended up falling down. That figures because he does not balance well on his feet, they are 100% numb. When Bucky saw that Ron fell down he got his cell phone out of his pocket and called Art (who is 89 years old) he said to Art," The pigs almost killed Ron, get over here tomorrow and we will build a trough for the pigs so that Ron does not have to go into the pigpen." I hope they get the trough built today in this wind because tomorrow morning he is taking his horses to Utah for two weeks, and if the trough is not built then I will probably have to go into the pigpen. Bye for now, Anna

HI Mark! So glad to see you back, and very timely, because just tonight I was wondering how you and Shirley are doing? I hope she is continuing to progress in her recovery.
Lulu and Seven, so thrilled that you got storms and rain!!! I know you need every drop you can get. Lulu, hope you get your thunderstorm tonight (just don't want any hail damage for you). And YAY for your upcoming Jazzy weekend!!
Anna, do I understand correctly that Ron went to feed his friend Bucky's pigs, because Bucky is going out of town for a couple of weeks, then Ron fell (oh no! and YUCK in a pigpen - GERMS!!), so Bucky is going to try and build a trough before he leaves (Friday morning), and that if it doesn't get built, YOU will have to go into the pigpen to feed them yourself?!?! I surely hope it got built! Hope you don't have any tornadoes from your unstable weather.
Cindy, have you heard any more from Christopher? Hopefully he is feeling better by now. How are you doing?
Cheryl, hope and pray you are better today too.
Kel, how is Megan's father - any better?
There's too much sickness in here!
Margie & Ruthanne, what have you been up to these last couple of days?
Hope I haven't missed anybody. Night!
PS - Anna I told a couple of those old age acronyms you posted to Daniel as we drove down the road today - the only ones I could remember at the moment, LMDO and BFF, and he just rolled his eyes. I still think they're hilarious!
LOL :D

Hi Leigh, Shirley is coming along, she is starting to remember more of her long term memory but her short term is still foggy. But that's what I am here for. We have been working through a lot of of day to day things and she is getting better at some things. Her last visit to the doctors, was a good one. For the most part she is doing better. Bless your heart for asking !!

Hi Mark! Good to finally see you here! It was nice to hear you on the phone tonight too, and that you are doing well.
Thank you all for your prayers over my health. I don't know, yet, what is going on with me, but night before last, I was finally able to eat supper without feeling like I wanted to rid myself of it. Still very tired all the time, though. I should be in bed right now, but decided to do a few things, first, since I really haven't spent much time online lately. But, Lorrie emailed me and I remembered that I never did tell anyone how our Awards dinner went with the tax company. We had the Awards dinner on the 2nd. I earned the bronze level award for bringing in over $19,000 in revenue for the company. LOL, it's actually the lowest award given, but hey I'll take it. lol And I also was given a trophy called an ABCD award. It stands for Above and Beyond the Call of Duty. It is just a special thank you, from the company for being so available in a pinch, and helping out as much as I did. I was called in 19 times in 13 weeks, and I lost count of how many times I was scheduled, but asked to go to a different location, at the last second, so yeah, I guess I helped. I'm grateful for being thanked publicly, because I've never really had that, and still have people happy for me. I actually forgot to tell all of you, but really didn't think of it. I have a picture of the trophy and the certificate award, so I guess I can post that too.
Well, I guess I'll get myself to bed. Pretty wore out. I'll try to get back here and respond to all your posts. I've read them though, and it's so good to have all my friends back. :)

Cheryl, it is good to read that your were given an award for work well done and it was nice that the place you worker for were thoughtful enough to give recognition to it's good workers.
Hi Mark, good to read how you and Shirley are doing.
Hi Leigh, the pig trough was made yesterday, that is good, now I won't have to go to Bucky's place to help feed the animals unless I choose to do so. Ron can balance OK on his feet if nothing bumps into him, but sometimes he step wrong on a rock and he losses balance. I am getting more eggs than I can use so I googled how to preserve eggs and I will cook the extra eggs and freeze them, right now I am boiling five eggs and will make deviled eggs.
I hope you have a fun filled weekend Cindy, Ruthanne, Seven and Lulu.
Bye for now, Anna

I'm so glad you're getting to enjoy Jazzy again! Good evening Fresh Hope. I see that not looking at my emails or facebook is not a good thing. Oh well, I am home now!! Back and ready to do God's work. I am looking forward to being here. Thank you Cindy for getting this board back together. I sure have missed every one. Good to see you Mark! I've sure missed seeing you too! I know others have as well as I've gotten many Pm's asking where you were lol I hope you and Shirley are doing well and that your leg is all healed up by now!HI Mark!
LOL :D
Yes, I spoke to Christopher yesterday and he sounded a little better. I think he really is going to come home too. Not sure exactly when, as he has to tie up lose ends there, but we're working on getting things ready. We told him he could stay with us until he could find something more permanent. We'll have to put up ads that he's looking for a roommate when he does get here, but that gives me time to pray for God to give him a good godly man as a roommate! I'm so glad to hear that Mark! How's your leg doing and your general health? Bruce told me you called last night after we went to bed...sorry I wasn't able to talk to you...
That's awesome Cheryl! Congratulations! You surely deserve it and I'm sure it made you feel good to know that what you'd done had been appreciated.
It was nice talking with you as well, Cheryl I am glad to see everyone as well. Can't sleep but am going to try again. Be back as soon as I wake up. Hope you got some sleep Mark!
wicked good to see you Mark! Glad Shirley is improving! Cheryl, sorry you've not been feeling well..man, no idea what's up ah? congrats on your award, and your ABCD acknowledgment! wicked cool! Well if we got them storms, I didn't hear them...and it's clear out this AM... oh that's too bad that you didn't get to see them if you got them Lulu. I'm sorry! Maybe you'll get another one soon... But, you're a day closer to getting Jazzy and I know that makes you happy!
Remind me not to skep a day replying again LOL I couldn't believe how many posts there'd been and since it's taken me so long to type this, I imagine there may be more by the time I post it! Yikes! I'd better get it posted and find out LOL
Have a great day everyone!

Doing laundry, grocery shopping, cleaning - the fun never stops!
The sun is out today! Hubby is volunteering for his civic club's food wagon at Grapevine's Main Street Days. Grapevine is a neighboring town that has a festival every year.
Hope everyone has a good weekend. Hugs.
