Sorry guys, I slept most of yesterday and then had to go to a funeral after supper. Then I slept really late again today too, and still have to do the shopping so I'm really running behind.So far good actually my uncle really want go it some of news stories come up to Fairbanks AK he know where it at it is in Downtown LA I am surpise we got tickets LOL! I hear for few months been open been sold out I think novelity wearing off if you come to SO CAL I think you can get ticket now
Really hot here. I pull weeds in flower beds real early in the mornings but by 8 am it's too hot for me. I read a biography of Pearl Buck. She wrote The Good Earth. I am so tired of hot weather! Not much going on. Hugs to all.  Seven! That slide!! Normally, I'm like Cindy and can do slides but not roller coasters, but THAT slide?!?!?  Hello everyone. Still hot here too, but hey, it's August. I just stay inside as much as possible and keep the AC low (mid 70s). Still painting. Same here with me, I have enjoyed going down a slide, but do not like roller coasters. The roller coasters at Disney Land and Disney World are fun to ride, but I went on one of those larger roller coaster in Denver CO once and thought I was going to die. We were 4 girls on the ride, I think the two girls that were from Denver liked the roller coaster ride, they were on it once before, but I had no warning as to the steep fall from the top or the loop that the roller coaster did. I would more like going to a park with flowers now and enjoy that, maybe that is because I am old now.
 3 day weekend, today is Ron's 25th clean and sober birthday! one of the sober houses he brings the 12 meeting to had a big party for him last nite, pizza and a cake, and a new 25 year chip. a really nice one....it's the size of a dollar coin, maybe a tat bigger, Ron's been carrying one of these coins in his pockets for 25 years...so we both took today off and are just gonna hang out with each other and of course Boy....later today I get to go get Jazzy and tonite it's a BBQ and movie at church. we are gonna see the War Room! I love roller coasters and slides! 
Actually slide only go for one floor be honest you could see scene of Dowtnown LA skyline still smoggy in certain area LOL! There is plan of extend to may be 10 floors Yeah I got touch of insanity in my blood I could go for that Enjoy your weekend ladies!

That is a scary thought, going down a ten story slide and an earthquake happens at the same time. If I visited CA and there was an earthquake, I would be  in a hurry to get back home.

I don't think they realize that history of Brazil it mostly Cathoic country back in da day now Evangical Christians are moving having gospel preach that I know for a fact that they don't want any form of Christitry on network tv prove to point how hostile it is

 this is probably to late to help tonite, but we need prayer, or rather I need prayer. I'm done, with our room mate...there's a chance we may have to give my boy away cause of her stupidity, I will give him away in order to save his life...but she was out walking this morning with Mace off leash. I've asked her NOT to do this, but alas, she did as she pleased. the UPS guy comes by and you've probably already guessed, Mace went at him. My neighbor Jeff saw Mace walking up the sidewalk, and was going for the door thinking he just got out...then he saw Rebecca about half a house behind him, the UPS guy was at a house just before Mace, he was coming back down the lawn with a box in his hand, either picking one up or that neighbor wasn't home and he was returning to his truck with the box. Mace lunged at him and got his sleeve, Jeff, the neighbor that saw all this, said it looked like it was ONLY the sleeve, Jeff heard Rebecca say something and Mace got down, but then lunged again, the poor UPS guy had to use the box to protect himself...Jeff said he stopped in front of our house and probably took down our address...great....we might be getting sued because of her stupidity...I'm so  right how I could spit.....  just talked to our Netty, she wont be able to take my boy cause she's at her limit for pets at their house...per law of Long Beach... pray for my boy Mace.... |

Kelly, Pastor Paul Begley had a dream that the Olympics were cursed. There is probably more going wrong there than we hear about.

Lulu, I am SO sorry about what happened with Mace and the UPS man. Maybe you will be given a chance to explain that Rebecca broke your rules by not having Mace on a leash... since the man wasn't actually hurt, hopefully there won't be a lawsuit. Please keep us posted. Prayers for you all. A dear friend passed away tonight, our church librarian, "Mrs. Rae" -- loved by everyone. She sent birthday and anniversary cards to each person at our church. She will be greatly missed. |

We had a wonderful time with the kids yesterday. Since I'd played Yahtzee with Gracie the last time she was here by herself, she wanted to play her brother when they got here, as he hadn't ever played it before. They did and she beat him! So then it was a challenge as she'd beaten me last week. So after dinner, Bruce, Jenn, Elijah, Grace and I all sat down and played Yahtzee together. She beat our pants off again!!!!! It was a blast though and we all really enjoyed it. We're all determined to beat her the next time though!

Saw it on Twitter GOOD GOIN NBC Sport you must sucks at sport coverage you have put on everything on tape delay
That reason I am not watching the Olympics I watch NFL Pre season which I am this Saturday with LA Rams and Cowpokes

well, nobody has shown up looking for our Boy, thank the Lord, No cops and no SPCA. So the UPS guy probably didn't get bit and couldn't fill out a complaint. From what I understand if it did happen and there was a tiny bit of a chance that an aggressive dog was reported, they would have been here with in 24 hours, or sooner. Today was a wonderful day, we spent it with Lee, Stan and Chelsea! on the ocean fishing! from 6 am till about 3 pm...it was a absolutely beautiful day. Ron caught the biggest fish and won the jack pot...Stan caught 3 good yellow tail, and a few other kind, they were to small though....there were about 40 people on the boat, I'm guessing... Lee and Chelsea tried fishing in the beginning, but I didn't at all, I just love being on the boat on the water...I was lucky enough to get a bunk, so the three of us lady's also got to take naps! I love sleeping on a boast also...  I wish the land would stop rocking.....  |

WOW Lulu, what fun to spend the day with Lee's family! I miss her.... in fact, I'd just looked at Lee's FB page the night before last since it's been awhile since we've seen anything from her, here OR on FB. Will you be seeing them again? If so, please tell them we said hi.
Thankful that you haven't heard anything about Mace's little escapade!! Hopefully the UPS man is fine and nothing more will be said about it. 
Cindy, that is cute about Gracie being the Yahtzee champ! :-) Good for her! She has the most beautiful, winning smile. I love seeing both hers and Elijah's pictures and know they're the light of your lives. It makes me happy reading about them AND Jazzy and knowing they're all so blessed to have Godly grandparents involved in their lives.

You know I took a Precept course all last school year on the book of Hebrews? I wasn't going to take another Precept class this year because of time commitments. Guess what I'm doing today? Going to my first Precept class on the book of James.  Told a girlfriend, "I caved on rejoining the class... but I guess Bible study is a great thing to "cave" on. 
Speaking of which.... better finish getting ready; I overslept this morning anyway.

In Spanish news what my friend who watch novelas told me that there was riot outside Rio they kept hush hush one of other network carry it I have heard that the Israeli athletes are receiving harassment, there was a bus load of journalist that were shot at, two Australian coaches were robbed with a knife to their throats, a guy from Belgium was robbed and beat up, toilets that don't flush and not enough money to keep the swimming pool clean. |

 No, we are probably not gonna see Lee and family again. they have much more planned and Chelsea is doing something with *Make a Wish* out here. they will be heading back home Sunday. Lee is just not on the computer much these days...I see Chelsea more then Stan or Lee on Facebook...I will send on the HI and well wishes to Lee though! she will be calling letting us know they are home safe and sound next week...it was a fun day for sure! I took today off as well as yesterday, hanging out with my Boy, and  and  and in a bit I have to  |

Thanks for the update on Lee, Lulu. I miss her too.
We went to our daughter's house to have lunch with them and to see the floors and carpet that are finally in. They look great. School starts in 2 weeks for the grandkids and once school starts, they're really busy. So we had a good time with them.
Hubby played chess and dominoes with the youngest boy. They both like playing games.
Doing grocery shopping and laundry tomorrow. Hope the weather turns cooler soon.

Our sin nature is so ugly. It's so easy to see it in others, but seems harder to see it in ourselves at times. I have to keep reminding myself that what's good in me is only there because the Lord changed me, otherwise I'd be just as bad as the worst of them. I'm so grateful that He saved me!
Yesterday was a tough day here. We've been under a heat advisory with temps over 100 with high humidity. Nasty to say the least. Angel was having trouble breathing and I wasn't feeling to well either. Today is better though. We have to do the shopping today.
I have a favor to ask, yet again. If the Lord brings it to your mind, would you all mind saying a prayer for my daughter Jennifer? She's dealing with an issue from her past that's quite painful for her and really needs the Lord's healing for her heart. Thanks guys, I appreciate it. It might take awhile, but when I can, I'll explain in more depth.
