Had to use that title again, I just love it! Well, it looks like no ones been in to chat in a couple of days! Must have been a busy time for everyone! This makes it a perfect time to start a new chat thread. I can't believe all I did yesterday. My body is certainly letting me know about it though. Looks like today will be a PJ day for me. But at least I can post, so that's good. The kids and their friend had a wonderful time here yesterday and I enjoyed having them of course. Now I'll just rest and enjoy the memories!
I hope everyone had a good weekend and that yesterday was a great start to a new week for you all too!

Good morning everyone!! Boy I've been sitting here for awhile now, catching up on all the comments since I posted last week. I've been here (at FH), but have been reading some of the other articles and haven't taken time to write in chat. Cindy posteded a couple of articles from www.michellelesleybooks.com and I have been over there too, reading a lot of her articles. If you get a chance, take a look -- they are very thought-provoking! I think most of us in here (if not all) would agree with her viewpoints on many issues Christians are facing these days.
Anna, I never did answer your question from last week, about playing in the orchestra. Our minister of music and his wife are both excellent singers and pianists and usually when the piano is played, one of them plays it, however for the adult Christmas musical he asked me to play the piano this time. He wants his wife playing the keyboard (which I normally would play -- it can be set to sound like string instruments, which we don't have in our orchestra - we just have a couple of flutes, a clarinet, sax, several horns, and drums). If his wife plays the keyboard, then she can alternate between singing whenever he needs her to. Then, he decided to put me on another keyboard (set to piano sound), instead of the real piano, because that way we can all sit in the same area and stay together better (the church's grand piano won't fit up in that tight spot). To me, the keyboard is harder to play than the piano, but it's a lighter touch which might be better because my right hand & wrist have been giving me trouble. I do sing alto in the choir, too.
Our church is just average size for our area, maybe around 200, give or take. We are also going through a time of trial right now, but nothing like what poor Lulu and Ron experienced. Wow Lulu, I remembered the gist of what had happened to you, but had forgotten the details. Seems like it would be difficult to return after all that, but with the pastor gone and a fresh start, it can be a new place by the grace of God. I really admire you and Ron though... you are the backbone of the church, the workers... "the salt of the earth" as my Daddy would say. You are among the 20% who do 80% of the work. I remember all those breakfasts that Ron cooked! When things are going well in a church, there's nothing more satisfying than to be a part of it all, but when things aren't... look out!
Our pastor just announced his retirement coming up next spring; I was elected to serve on the new pastor search committee. Really have mixed feelings about that, because John is currently serving on our Constitution Committee which has been updating/re-writing our church's bylaws. It has turned into a HUGE deal and we have upset people who have left the church over differing opinions of the way things should be run, so if anybody wants to pray for our church situation along with Lulu's, it would be much appreciated.
Okay well I'm going to stop now and get busy.

Good Morning all! Michael has a doctors appointment in Boston at noon, for which I'm very grateful. Okay well I'm going to stop now and get busy. I totally agree with you Lorrie about Lulu and Ron. I've often thought that about them being part of the few who do all the work while the other 90% sit around and complain (if they do anything at all). You see that in most churches and it seems so unfair. Yet, the Lord says not to get depressed about it or complain because He knows and sees their work and they will be rewarded richly when that Day finally comes; and the others - if they make it to heaven at all -- will be there to see it and will be ashamed as Jesus will be ashamed of them. I know that sounds harsh, but those aren't my thoughts it's what the Lord says in His Word. (paraphrased by me of course).
I'm sorry to hear about the problems at your church Lorrie and will pray for you all too. I can see how it would be very stressful to be on those committees, but I know you and John will do the Lord's Will according to His Word, so I'm glad they picked you guys.
I have kind of a love/hate relationship with keyboards. I love the piano and to me a keyboard just isn't the same. I don't mean the sound, but playing it is different then playing a piano, and somehow I never cared for it as much. It doesn't bother me at all to see keyboards used in church, I don't mean that at all. I only meant that my personal preference for what I play has always been a real piano, not a keyboard....if that makes any sense at all.
I talked to my son Christopher last night again and he got the job he applied for! I'm so pleased for him. He's now the manager of the Job Lot's store in Peterborough, which is the town he's living in and where Michelle and Jennifer both live too. I already mentioned that Michael has an appointment with the doc in Boston today, so I'm really praying that he will be able to help my son sooner rather then later. But then I know the Lord has it all under control, and even though I may not understand His reasons for things, that He has good ones for what He allows. So no matter what happens, it's in my son's eternal best interests. We listened to one of John MacArthur's sermons together yesterday and it was so good! I love listening to him! I wish every Christian would listen, at least those who don't have a good scriptural church or pastor anyway.
Well guess I'd better get busy and see what's going on here. Oh about what Lorrie said about the other site. I've already posted a great number of her articles here in several of the forums and will eventually have them all posted here. So if you don't want to go somewhere else, just keep an eye out here and you'll find them! They're very, very good!

Cooler and rainy here. Our daughter is sick so our Thanksgiving will be tomorrow, if she is feeling OK. I'm baking the Pumpkin Cake and making deviled eggs. If she is still sick I'll take them over to her house so her husband and kids will have something to snack on.
My daughter-in-law is sick so she and my son stayed here instead of going to Houston to visit her family there. The lady in my SS who took the dog for our classmate is sick so I'm keeping the dog for a few more days.
I fell yesterday and landed on my right side. Thank the Lord I didn't break any bones. Today I'm sore though.
Hubby is watching football, football and more football. He said that on Saturday there will be football games on TV for 12 hours! Good grief!
Hope everyone has a good Thanksgiving. Hugs.

Leigh, that is interesting to read about the changes for your church. My BIL, his name is John, belongs to a Seventh Day Advent (sp) church. BIL said that his church split in half over some differing in belief. He said he was on the side that believed that when a person dies there spirit stays in the ground and waits for the second coming of the Lord, at that time God will call his spirit from the ground and he will be a ruler and have riches in heaven. I don't know what the other half of the church believed. What are some examples of updating and rewriting church bylaws? I was raised a Catholic, so I don't understand about that. I tried going to a Pentecostal church when I was young, some people there were wonderful people to have had the opportunity to get to know, I can't wait to see them in heaven and talk to them, but the trouble makers were also part of the church and there was hurtful gossip.
Hi Catt, glad you had an enjoyable Thanksgiving Day at your sisters house. Pumpkin pie and whip cream sounds good. I haven't had that in a long time, I sometimes use pumpkin when baking muffins.
Hi Margie, what a blessing that you were not hurt from falling down.
Cindy I hope Michael is feeling better soon and that the hospital stay will help him to get stronger.

I sure hope everyone starts feeling better soon and that you don't get it! I'm so sorry you fell, but am very glad you didn't break anything! Thank You Lord! Happy Thanksgiving!!! Thanks Anna! Michael is feeling better today and is off to the hospital to get some more blood work done. His doc put him on a new RA med so we're praying that will work for him. The bad part is that like many others, it takes 8 weeks to start working, but at least there's a light at the end of the tunnel. For some of his symptoms, like the dizziness, the doc thinks it's due to the RA attacking his body so much that it just went haywire. He said it can take 6 months or more for the body to realize it can stop. Again, at least there's a light at the end of the tunnel.... Thank you all who've prayed for him!
We had a wonderful thanksgiving with Michael, his wife and children, and Christopher. Of course Jenn and the kids called so we put them on speaker phone so all could hear and talk to them. Bruce out did himself with the turkey; it was awesome! It was also huge so we'll be eating turkey for months
I'm taking the day off today. I should go spend some time with hubby though.... Hope you all have a great day!

our Thanksgiving was great, I think I mentioned that we had our family one last Saturday, then yesterday we slept in and hung out most the morning, then spent the afternoon over the Scotts house, Jazzy had a blast...Matt even got to eat with us all...then after bringing her back by 6pm we swung around and picked up Boy and took him with us to our Daughters. They did all the cooking, we ended up spending the rest of the niter there, till almost midnite...slept in this AM and hanging out! already took Boy to the dog park, he had a blast now he's sleeping....and we are just kicking back...it's a beautiful day here, in the low 70's....clear skys.. We went to our bible study at our old Church Wed...its was nice to go and not have to worry about the time... Lorrie, I will keep your Church family in prayer....I'll keep looking up! every one here is doing well health wise, I got over my cold last week pretty quick...thank the Lord, Ron's doing pretty well, tooling around out side. Matt's working.... I got a change to chat on skype with my Sis for a bit this morning...that was wicked nice...I miss her.... about church, Ron and I usually do plug in and get busy among our church family....it's mostly fun...*The Way* got pretty stressful there the last couple years, maybe 18 months or so, we really felt empty there...It's wired we listen to the Holy Spirit but really don't get it right away, a few things have to happen before you get that undeniable voice in your heart and change course....and it seems that Ron and I have to be on the same page, then the change happens pretty smoothly.... welp, it's about nap-thirty, you all have a great day!

LOL, "nap-thirty" -- never have heard it put that way but that's brilliant!! Margie, so sorry about all the sickness in your family, and SO sorry about your fall!!! Thankful you didn't do any major damage, though. Still in holiday mode around here. We made a quick dash to GA on Wednesday evening to join my sister's family (all but her two oldest children) at my parents'.... John and I stayed in a motel that was a DUMP! (And I'm the one who booked it, on Hotwire, so it was all my fault! ). Back to my parents' early Thursday for lunch and home by 8:00 p.m. last night for Timothy to work. Today is John's 57th birthday... we ordered a new fridge last weekend and it was delivered today... all nice and shiny and clean. Hello to everyone else - be back later (maybe tomorrow). Thankful for each one of my chat pals!!

Leigh, never mind the comment about church bylaws. I did a quick read about them, that they are for the preservation and security of the principles of the church faith and so that the body may be governed in an orderly manner,+that's is good, more small churches should do that to direct the people as to how to conduct themselves. Sorry to hear about the dump of a motel, ick, we had that happen to us once when driving across country. We should have just went out in our car and slept in it in the parking lot, but we were so tired we fell asleep right away.
Cindy, that is good news for Michael's health. I did not know RA would cause a person to feel dizzy, but I understand about the body going haywire from health problems and dizziness being a common symptom. I also felt dizzy for two days, it just came on suddenly for about 8 seconds and then left. I looked up information on the Internet to help me understand and I read about what are called barorecptors (aging cells) how they regulate blood pressure and can be to slow at the job they do once the body gets older.

not quite noon here yet...already been out with the Boy, Ron even came with us...made some banana pancakes, while Ron got some lamb stew started in the crock-pot. Now he's out racking our neighbors leaves for our compost... and I be tooling around here... cutting back our Jasmine bushes... Anna, by-laws are good for a church, but it's not so good when the pastor makes changes with a lawyers help, to benefit himself. He presented them to the church at business meeting, worded them in a deceiving sorta way, and knowing the most the people in the church, went along to get along....once one of the Deacons started catching on, then the light got turned on to his ways....and our church family started to wake up...kinda like whats going on in our whole country!! Cindy, glad your son is feeling somewhat better, praying that the new meds help.... Lorrie, to John! pray you had a great day!

We had a great delayed Thanksgiving yesterday at my daughter's house. She is feeling better.
It's cold here and we've had lots of rain. I'm doing laundry and got out the Christmas decorations. Our son and his family will be here the day after Christmas. Not sure if we will be at daughter's or here by ourselves.
My friend from Sunday School picked up the little dog Izzy yesterday. She (the friend) is feeling much better too. It was fun having a dog for a while but I realize I don't really need a dog to take care of all the time.
Hope everyone has a good weekend. Hugs to all.

(She informed me of that last night ) It's going to be left overs, but that's fine since we have tons of them! LOL, "nap-thirty" -- never have heard it put that way but that's brilliant!! Margie, so sorry about all the sickness in your family, and SO sorry about your fall!!! Thankful you didn't do any major damage, though. Still in holiday mode around here. Yeah, RA attacks your whole body, inside and out. It's not much fun LOL. There's so many different symptoms it takes pages and pages to list them all. Medical sites just list what they consider the "main ones", but then they're not the ones experiencing the symptoms I looked up the new med they want Michael to go on, and it doesn't sound good so I told him to talk to his doc and the pharmacist about it before taking it. So he read it, and now he doesn't want to take it. It seems like many of the RA meds can be as bad as the disease itself.
not quite noon here yet...already been out with the Boy, Ron even came with us...made some banana pancakes, while Ron got some lamb stew started in the crock-pot. Cindy, glad your son is feeling somewhat better, praying that the new meds help.... Lorrie, to John! pray you had a great day! Banana pancakes...that sounds really yummy! Want to hear something weird? You know the climate here, so I know you'll understand lol. At 8:30 this morning, Bruce was going to go hunting and went out to start the car. It was in the 20's this morning so pretty cold. Anyway, he grabbed the door handle and pulled to open the door, and the handle came off in his hand! He couldn't believe it! That's never happened to us before, so he came inside and showed me. I'm hoping we can super glue it back on, but I don't really know if that will work. He'll probably have to go get another handle and put it on. I have no idea how he got into the car, probably through the other door though. Speaking of which, I guess I'd better get ready for mine again,
I hope everyone has a blessed Sunday!

Cindy, about that adjustable bed; it seems like you are being discriminated against by your case worker. Can you ask to talk to the case workers supervisor and request a different case worker to work with? That is good that you looked up information about Michael's medication that the doctor wanted to give to him, so he can choose himself whether it is good for him to take or not. You are a good mother, a blessing to your family. Leigh, that is nice you have a new refrigerator, I got a new vacuum cleaner. Once a year I clean behind my refrigerator to keep the dust and link off of the coils.
Hi Lulu, you and Ron sure keep busy, it is good to have jobs to work at, though difficult I know. I was lucky when I worked in that most the jobs I liked working at them, and when I didn't like the job anymore I was able to quit and move on to look for something else. It's probably is not that easy for people now days.

Bruce is on vacation this week so doesn't have to go back to work. Therefore we're going to do our shopping today. We have to get birthday presents for Elijah and Grace too as their birthday party is next weekend. They came over for a little bit yesterday, but we had to send them to the hospital. Grace had gotten hurt just before coming over and cut the back of her head. Jenn had cleaned her up really well, but as soon as she showed me the cut I knew it was probably deep enough that they'd want to do stitches. It was borderline really, but knowing Jenn, I knew she'd feel badly if she found out that stitches could have been warranted and she didn't get them, so explained that to her and she decided to take her to the ER. I was surprised when they got home and told me that instead of stitches they literally glued her cut together! They didn't have that option when my kids were little! Pretty cool though that they can do that. The doc told Grace she couldn't get her head wet for two days, and Grace started immediately worrying about this summer and going swimming! Of course Jenn explained that they'd said two DAYS and not months and that summer was a long ways a way. Everyone in the ER got a good laugh from it though. It does seem like the caseworker's discriminating against me. Unfortunately, I know who her supervisor is, and it's my old case worker, who was no better, so I don't think that will help. I'm going to write to her again today. Maybe the Lord will use something I say to change her heart..... Thank you for your encouragement though.
Well, I guess I'd better get going. I need to order some meds for us and get ready to do all the shopping, starting with getting dressed, but first some posts. Hope you all have a really great day today!

Cindy, a girlfriend once told me the best days of the week to go to a doctor or a dentist. She said, don't go on a Monday, they will not be as focused and will be tired thinking about their weekend, do the business on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, don't do business on a Friday because the person will be just thinking about what they are going to do on the weekend. So I think if you call and talk to your caseworker that it should be on a Friday, that way she might not be in such a stubborn mood, since she will be thinking positive thoughts about her weekend, she might be nicer to deal with.

Good points Anna, thanks! I really appreciate everyone's input and prayers for me about this!
Bruce is out hunting today. We ordered another door handle for the car and it's supposed to arrive sometime today too. Thankfully we were able to get it for only $26, so that was good news. Some places wanted $100 more then that. We splurged and got Elijah and Grace their birthday gifts and since I asked the Lord's help, I'm sure they'll like them! Their party is going to be this Sunday.
The Lord's been showing me so much in my studies lately that I can't wait to share it with you guys, so I'm off to start a post about it now, but it'll probably take me awhile to write it since it usually seems to.
Have a great day everyone!

Good morning all - happy December! I thought once my Precept class stopped for the holidays I'd have more free time, but no, there's always something to fill up the day.
Cindy, you recently asked what we are studying in class, and we're doing the book of Hebrews. Precept breaks Hebrews into three different studies. The first one, which we just completed, was 11 weeks, and it covered the first four chapters (that was after spending several weeks on an overview of the whole book, of course). We will begin part two in January, nine lessons covering chapters 5-10. Part three we will do in the spring, and it's only six lessons, covering chapters 11-13. It has been very good, but I'm still almost as confused about Hebrews as I ever was! Almost! Good news that Bruce got a door handle for $26! Hope it works well for him. Timothy's inside car door handle broke off months ago. He has to roll down the window and open the door from the outside to get out - what a hassle!
Poor Gracie with her head, but I am jealous that she only had to have it glued back together! My only experience with stitches/ER visit during childhood was when I fell off a stool (cutting a piece of pie in the kitchen) and split my head open, requiring stitches (after waiting hours in the ER) -- then to add insult to injury -- a tetanus shot! I know most children are bad about needles, but I was worse than most. Thankfully I don't act that way now.
Anna, how is your week going? What kind of new vacuum cleaner did you get? That is a good idea to vacuum the refrigerator coils annually; think I'll take your advice on that. You mentioned the jobs you used to have; what kind of work did you do?
Lulu, hope your work week is going well. You were so sweet to send the e-card and I'm embarrassed to admit that I only today got it opened! The reason why is it wouldn't open on my laptop, and I had to wait and open it from the desktop.
Margie, thank you also for the card you sent in the mail. You and Lulu are the best about remembering holidays and put me to shame because I don't. How is your Christmas decorating coming along? Glad you were able to celebrate Thanksgiving with your daughter's family, even if it was a day late.
Catt, glad you were able to celebrate Thanksgiving with your sister's family. Did you do okay eating meat that one time? I've heard that once a person transitions to vegetarian eating, the body stops producing the enzymes that digest meat, so that if you eat it later it can make you feel unwell. Hope that wasn't the case with you though.
Kel, how are you doing this week? Anything new with you? Well I've been on here long enough; better get busy now. Hope everyone has a great day.

Leigh, I will answer your questions this morning. My week is going fine, today I have to go to a town to get a new drivers license, the DMV sent me a letter saying I need to get a new updated one. Yesterday I did mending with my sewing machine. It is too cold here in the morning, down to 25 degrees and I only have space heaters to heat the home. I miss the warm summer weather. I bought a Hoover vacuum cleaner. It was a Black Friday on-line sale, regularly 169.00 on sale for 80.00., so that is nice, I like it. As far as where I have worked at jobs, I will list them from beginning to end. In NE I worked at a hospital mail room, I liked that job but I got married and moved out of state. In northern FL I worked at a golf course mowing the greens and the rough on a tractor, I liked that job, but the golf course was closing, and also as a night security guard at the zoo. I was fired from the zoo job because I got to close to a tiger in a cage, I also foolishly got to close to an elephant. I thought elephant were friendly, not that one. I worked as a temp help for At&t. A temp job driving Toyota trucks to be detailed after a ship from Japan arrived and docked. In central FL I took care of an elderly woman and also worked at a small antique museum, I left that job because of verbal abuse from the owner. At the Key's I worked as a hostess at a restaurant, for 3 years, back to NE I worked as an apartment manager for 10 years. Well I am off now to get ready to go to town, ttyl, Anna

Leigh, I don't do much Christmas decorating anymore. Last year we got a new artificial tree with lights attached. We just plug it in and the lights are ready to go. I decorate it with a few small ornaments. I put Santa hats on the stuffed animals we still have sitting around. Our big stuffed bear also has a Snowman necklace that lights up and he wears Christmas slippers.
Our youngest grandson will spend the night with us and I'll take him back to our daughter's in the morning. We're taking him to the Night at Bethlehem where we went last year. There will be a manger scene with live actors and animals, snacks, games and bounce houses.
At least there's no rain today. It's a little cool but the sun is shining! We went to see our oldest grandson in a wrestling match last night. He won his match with a pin so he was excited.
Hugs to all.

We don't so much Christmas decorating any more either...not even a tree these days, I have my Nativity set in the front window...still have to finish it up for Christmas though, some poinsettia garland with lights, and I need nite lights for my Christmas village...and that's it.

That is sad what happened in San Bernardino, I was in a DMV waiting room for 2 hours and I was able to watch the news about that on their TV. Lulu, I remember a picture you posted last year of your Christmas nativity set, it looked so nice.
Margie, Night at Bethlehem sounds like a fun event for children, especially with the bounce houses.
I'm off to read some other news and do some housework. I am waiting for a candy thermometer to arrive in the mail, then I will be able to make homemade yogurt, so easy to do.

Hi guys, just a quick note to let you all know I'm still here. Had to post my notes today so don't have time for anything else. Have to try once again to get on part B medicare. I just found out something about health and human resources that really makes me angry as it hurts many people, but I'll have to tell you about it tomorrow too. Hopefully this will remind me to.
Jenn was the same way about needles before she got married Lorrie lol
That's neat you're still studying Hebrews. I was looking at it some today too. A lot of it is like a commentary on Leviticus lol. It's pretty cool!

I have a confession to make. I've been feeling blue lately. So thank you for your prayers Lulu. So sad about the shooting in San Bernardino.

Good Morning everyone!
I'm so sorry Catt! I knew I should call you yesterday and then went and got involved in my own stuff talking to the Lord so He could lift me up. I did finally remember to mail you the brochures and stuff. I'm so sorry it took so long... I had it all ready and stuck it in the wrong place and forgot about it.
About what ticked me off yesterday.... Remember after Bruce's heart attack when we had no money and were so desperate? I'd applied for financial help and medicare, and found that we did of course meet the requirements for it, but couldn't or rather wouldn't get it because they told me that the only way I could was if they put a lien on my house. I didn't need or want that kind of help! Well, yesterday I was calling around (again) to find out how I could get back on Medicare part B. When doing so I was told by one of the caseworkers that we could have had that help and that they would NOT have put a lien on our house! She told me because she wanted me to get the help now and was horrified when I said I wouldn't and couldn't believe it, and wanted to know why. When I told her, she told me it wasn't true, that they just had that (in writing) to prevent people from applying unless they were desperate. Well, we were desperate, but I wasn't going to get "help" that wasn't really help so didn't continue with it. At that time though I spoke to several different caseworkers and they ALL told me that they would in fact put a lien on my house. I remember thinking how unfair it was since anyone who didn't own a house wasn't made to pay it back or even asked to. I can't believe that they do that to people. We still are going through problems because of that time as we've never been able to catch up completely ... mainly on our real estate taxes since we had to use what we had for survival.
That made me remember what I found out years ago when I woke up during my surgery, before the doc and anesthesiologist realized I was awake. They were talking about the pump they were removing from me at the time and the anesthesiologist had asked my doc why he was being so careful with it (and basically putting my body through hell in order to protect the pump - which is what woke me up) I heard him explain that they fixed up the pumps removed from paying patients and used them on medicaid patients! That's just horrid!!!!! Not to mention gross! Right after that sentence the anesthesiologist realized I was awake and started yelling and putting me back under. The last thing I heard them say was to reassure each other that I wouldn't remember a thing when I woke up next time. And you know what? I wouldn't have either except for Fresh Hope. It's only because I was so upset that I posted shortly after arriving home, (just before passing out again in bed lol) and told about it in the pain forum that I remember at all. Because even later that day I didn't remember about it and had forgotten all about it until one day when for some reason I re-read that post. It was kind of funny because although I posted about what they'd said, you could tell by my post that I was really out of it and in pain. But I knew it was important when I re-read it so I copied it and put it in a document on my computer so I'd never forget.
Remembering that, reminded me of many years ago when my son Jonathan was only a few years old and smacked his head on the edge of a drawer and needed stitches. The ER doc went to get what he needed and on the way back another doc stopped him and asked him why he was using the surgical package he had. I could hear them outside the door. My sons doctor was told he couldn't use that one because Jonathan was on medicaid and not a paying patient, so he had to use one that wasn't as expensive. Our doc fought him about it but since the other doctor was the head of the dept, he had no choice but to do what he was told. Just let's us know that medicaid isn't all it's cracked up to be and those things are legal for them to do to patients. That's not even getting into the illegal things they do!
So that's some of what had me riled yesterday and I just had to spend the day talking to the Lord to get myself straightened back out.
On to good stuff! No point dwelling on the bad, right? Today is my Elijah's birthday and Grace's birthday is on the 11th. They're coming over today to decorate the tree and the house and then we're going to their birthday party tomorrow. Elijah was cute and called his grandpa last night and informed him that they were coming over today to decorate the tree. Bruce said, "but then I won't be able to do it" or something like that, and Elijah replied, "That's the whole point, Grandpa!" That reminds me, I need to wrap their bday gifts before they get here..... maybe I'll give them to them today instead of waiting till tomorrow. They'll get plenty from their friends tomorrow anyway
Oh, and I got news from Jenn that made my day last night too! This is the year they go to Maine for the holidays to spend them with her husbands parents, which is hard on us, but we try to smile and not let on to them about it when it's his parents turn. We know it's the right thing for them to do after all. But my good news was that they'll be here for Christmas after all! Instead of going there for Christmas, they're going there for the 19th as his parents are giving a Christmas party for all their grandkids then and when Jenn and Bob told them they couldn't afford to come for both, they chose to have them come for the party instead of on Christmas. So we get them this year too!!!!! Thank You Lord!!!!

I forgot to mention that I spoke to Marianne's friend last night and she came through the operation just fine! It went well but she was still pretty out of it that night. Please pray that she won't hallucinate this time like she has in the past from the anesthesia and pain meds. Those seem to give her as much if not more problems then the surgery.
