Good Morning my friends! Yep, I finally got enough sleep last night, praise God!!! I feel like a new person!  It's amazing how bad not getting enough sleep can make you feel and how much better you feel when you've had plenty. I love the last line of this scripture: “In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat— for he grants sleep to those he loves.” (Psalm 127:2) And I'm so glad that He loves me!
I hope everyone's had a great week so far. Nothing new here really.

Cindy, sweet dreams tonight also. 
It is spring cleaning time and today we will work with fiberglass on a crack in the bathtub. Worked with fiberglass before on a boat, so we know how to do the repair.

We got some great news! Bruce is planning on retiring soon, but we can't live on what he'll get from SS. But his friend called him last night and told him that there'd be 3 jobs opening up in a few months at his very favorite place to drool...I mean window shop! It's at a local gun shop! And the job openings should happen just when he'll be needing a different job that won't kill his back any more then it already is. (that's why he's retiring, his body just can't take the kind of work he's been doing). And this happened of course right after I had a long heart to heart talk with the Lord about it all! He's so awesome! Being human, I don't know if this will wind up working out or not, although I hope it will, but even before this news came the Lord had assured me that He was on top of the situation and that I could trust Him, and so that's exactly what I'm doing! |

Well I got good authrority at good news of Rabbit ear info list site I go my wacky city going be first get METV Plus Rewind TV and Newsy in both in fall season reason is probably reason I live in second biggest tv market in the country too
I have two NFL teams I get those station btw can't wait for Newsy it new way to watch straight forwaded news they get international news feed from DW ITN world news so i get my internatioal news fix it is good news I used get it on Direct tv parent company of ION Television bought ton of tv station so they plan used one of tv space that network get cord cutters that cut cable

I really like this graphic. I had so much fun making it and the other ones I did too. But now I can't figure out where I found the time to do everything!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day yesterday. I sure did! Let me tell you the latest story about my grandkids. Hopefully you'll get a laugh out of it too. Friday night we got a call from Gracie. (she's 12 now). She told us that she'd asked her mom what her favorite meal was and Jenn told her it was my Beef Stroganoff. So she asked me if I'd be willing to make it for her so she could pick it up and serve it to her Mom for dinner. She says "there's no hurry though, just whenever you can". It was all I could do not to burst out laughing because I knew she was somehow going to next tell me she wanted to do it for mothers day. But I just said, "You want me to make the Beef Stroganoff whenever I have time, but since you want to have it for mothers day, that means what you really want is for me to make it tomorrow, right?" I could almost see her blushing over the phone! She admits that's what she's hoping to do. So I told her that Grandpa would have to go and get the meat in the morning as I didn't have anything that would work for that and then I'd pick up the other ingredients when we did our regular shopping later that day. That way I could have the meat in the crock pot before we left. I asked her then how she planned to get it when I finished making it, and when she planned on serving it? She had no idea except that she wanted to serve in on Mothers Day. LOL. She knows that they always come over here after church, and that there would be no way anyone could keep her from coming over on Mother's Day, and they always have dinner here. So I suggested she serve it for lunch. Then after Bruce and I had tossed around some ideas of how she could get her Mom to drive her over here on the next day, Saturday, so she could pick it up and all we could think of was that she could tell her Mom that she needed to come here to pick up something I was holding for her to give her Mom for Mothers Day. That would be perfectly true, as we sure didn't want her to lie. So that's what we did.
I ran around like a chicken with my head cut off on Saturday, first getting the Beef Stroganoff started and then doing our grocery shopping, coming home and putting it all away and then finishing the Stroganoff. When it was finally done, Bruce sent Elijah a text to tell Gracie it was time to come over and 30 minutes later she arrived. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, she also wanted me to write the recipe down so they could have it. Now THAT was hard! I'd made it up myself back when Jenn as just a toddler. And while I could easily give her a list of ingredients, I have no idea how much of anything I use! I tried to pay attention when I made it, but I go by taste so I still couldn't tell her. So I compromised and gave her the list of ingredients and told her that we'd all get together a few weeks from now and make it together. That way they'd both know how and could figure the measurements for themselves. Gracie thought that would be great.
So we put it all in Tupperware and Bruce put it in a large paper bag that had handles and made it look like a gift. So that's what she carried out to the car. When they got home, Gracie took it straight into her room, because that's what she'd do if it was a gift...I guess. So after a few minutes when Jenn realizes that Gracie hasn't thought this through and isn't going to put it in the fridge, she tells her, "if there's anything in that package that needs to be refrigerated, you should put it in there now." She said Grace look shocked and embarrassed all at once and ran and got the bag and put the whole thing in the fridge. (I'm sure Jenn knew what it was, as there's no way we could hide the smell LOL. but like a good mom she pretended she didn't have any idea of what it was.) Well, after church on Sunday we get a frantic call from Gracie: "how should I heat it up? Can I do it in the microwave"? We assured her she could do it that way if she wanted to. We found out later she'd told her mom to go to her room and that she'd call her when the surprise was ready. So she heated it up and had it all dished out and on the table, and called her mom to come to the kitchen. They all said it tasted great and are glad they'll be able to make it themselves soon. I think Gracie did a good job of figuring out the perfect gift for her Mom. (even if it was funny how it all came about lol)
Elijah also had a good gift, he fixed her breakfast!

Sharon a girlfriend that died in 2015, she always won at the horserace. I wonder why she did not go more often, her same friends where there all the time. She told me she would talk to me about betting, but I was not interested.

Good evening! Cindy, I will try to come back and read your Mother's Day story.
It's Wednesday at 11:55 pm and my eyes just won't stay open any longer, but I wanted to check in because I've been thinking about Bruce and wondering how he's feeling? How are his hands doing? I did see the post about the 3 job openings in the near future "at his very favorite place to drool." LOL! 
It will be a huge praise if one of those jobs work out for Bruce!!
We've had a lot going on this week. (Personally, AND in the U.S. and world!) Thursday, 5-13 is the five year mark of my father's home-going to Heaven. In fact, in just a little over an hour it will be the exact time. I'm trying to remember without re-living that sad day. We've been through it once already, he's with the Lord now, so I don't need to re-live all the trauma.
My mother drove over from Georgia today because she has an appointment with her SC oncologist tomorrow (well, Thursday) for a 4 month follow-up. We pray all will be well.
Last of all, Daniel has been on a brief trip to the US Virgin Islands this week with some guys from school. He will be returning on Thursday, and I'm always a little anxious when my boys travel.
Okay it's past midnight, so off to bed!

Also I think I maybe one of first tv market in LA going get new METV Plus look like doozy one of good people at Sitcom message board has post maybe schedule for METV Plus coming to Chicago so he is Chicago dude the guy posting really doozy I think some people are disappoint

Bruce is doing better now. The doc put him on a short term of prednisone, which he should be finished with in the next day or two. But that brought down all the swelling and reduced the pain for him. His boss has been trying to reduce the stress he feels at his job, and it's helped a little. But for some reason he seems to be unable to let it go entirely, even though I've told him he's doing it to himself and telling himself lies. He thinks it's his responsibility to do certain things, and it is or rather it was. But since covid hit, things changed and they aren't able to get the material the need as they normally did. What used to take 4 weeks now takes 12 weeks or more, and he's beating himself up about it. His boss has told him it's not his responsibility any more and to just forget about it, but he won't let it go. I guess it's the perfectionist in him or something. But hopefully it will eventually sink in and he'll let it go.
I know you must be really missing your Dad. I wish I could give you a hug. I'll have to settle for this kind though.
I've been wondering how your Mom's doing. What's the latest news on her?
I'm glad you enjoyed the story about Gracie's mothers day gift. All I can say is that we were all very happy about it!
Saying a prayer now for Daniel's safe return. 
I'm sorry I was absent yesterday you guys. But I hadn't had any sleep at all to speak of and was totally exhausted. I spent the entire day in my recliner doing nothing. But I got some sleep last night, so I'm better today. Still didn't get a full nights sleep but at least enough to function so that's good. I hope you all had a good day though.  |

It must be difficult for people who are perfectionists, I would not know, I have never been one. Ron was raised in a family of perfectionists and it was nice that when we first got married he kept things so clean, then he told me that he used to be a perfectionist until he married me. He gave up because I was to messy to keep up with, I tried to talk him back into being perfectionist as it was helping me but he quit being like that. rats.

LOL Well, Bruce is certainly not a perfectionist when it comes to keeping the house clean. He's a pack rat instead LOL. Although he does wash his own dishes and if he sees something that needs doing, he will do it, which is very nice. I'm a perfectionist though as far as my house goes and it drives me nuts not to be able to keep it as clean as I used to before I was hurt.

I loved being able to go into all the different castles throughout Germany, England, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and other European Countries. It was like a dream come true or a fantasy even since I was only 12 -13 years old. It was a great experience though.
sevenofnine I'm sorry to hear that about the cyst Kelly! I'll be praying that the Lord will heal you through the medication so you won't have to have the surgery!
Bruce isn't feeling well so he's home from work today. Guess I'll have to go make sure he's ok lol |

Well how I found out through blood test before you go see the doctor you need lab test that they find out the doctor think it infection need to be clear up at my age I really don't need the surgery they just gave me medcine
I didn't feel any pain at all I just hope it infection that really OH YOU know what
I think Windsor castle is top of my bucket list because when you think of Winsor castle you think of William the Conqueror the Warrior King that build England what it is
