 Hi everyone. Sorry I wasn't here yesterday. I slept late and had to jump right in to take care of my chores. I slept late again today too....I couldn't believe it when i saw what time it was! So I'll have to run and check out the Bible study now.

Or rather I know what the doctors say causes it: "inflammatory activity". The more inflammatory activity there is in RA, the more fatigue you have. The one thing I can't figure out is why they call it "fatigue". That makes it sound like you're just tired. But it's not just that, it's falling asleep whether you want to or not; and the "tiredness" is more like the tiredness you feel when you have the flu. It's different from what you feel after you've had a day of hard work. It comes out of nowhere and seems to attack whenever it wants to and it seems like there's no reason or rhyme to it, since we can't see inflammatory activity inside us. It makes sense though since I know I've been in a flare up since June. The pain has just recently returned to normal, so hopefully the fatigue will let up soon too. Come to think of it, I know it's getting better as I'm not falling asleep during the evening now... at least I didn't last night. |

I too am not falling asleep ( well not as much or for as long)
during the day ( not as much as I was)
but I am still wasted....mostly
( Oh ha ha not like a 'drug' wasted),
perhaps 'weary'
would have been a better choice or wording :)
Anyway, still tired ....sigh!
But inflammation is a big problem
but also endless tight painful muscles arrgghh
Is this Barbara grumble day?

Well I was bored last night so I decided watch TBN Praise the lord they have that Harisberger Rabbi what his name I got bored of his teaching I put on Iced Road Trucker on Quest TV then I decided watch Movies tv network with Johnny Eager movie last night that good thing having over the antenna tv if you get bored with Harisberger Rabbi you could always turn into Film noir movie OH YEAH I read original article from Atlatnic about Trump and miltary it was disgusting

We still have warm temperatures here, tomorrow, Saturday it is going to be 111* in Phoenix and along the AZ, CA border it will be 117*.
I was tired today, slept during the day, so I will open windows tonight to cool off inside the home and be able to stay awake later on tonight.

Well last night I think I came down with heat stroke I wasn't out there for long time only five minute I start get sick this pretty hot weather if I can't handle it even my parents went to bed earlier I think heat get on us well it not yet on heat wave earlier this morning once that start heating up I promise to put on AC I ready got at 78

Kelly, I remember when my sister and I used to lay on the grass in the summer for the longest time and we were comfortable, now I and my dogs look to find shade right away so we won't be in the sun.
Lulu, saying prayer for your travel today, looking forward to reading about your adventure and also seeing pictures when you can send them.

It got cooler around 9pm I left AC on until 9pm then start cooling off today going be hot burner
BTW TCM showing End of summer concert film they show legenary TAMI show with James Brown perform Night train
Then they show Let good time rolls with the 1950s artist with Chuck Berry, Little Richard came out in in 1973

BTW I notice after Friday at 5pm my time zone look like All Israel stop gathering I think Friday night that they stop News gathering until Saturday night israel time like Israel National news

Hey Lulu how weather in AZ is hot where you are I hear that same heat wave effect Arizona too BTW did cool off little a bit I decided do some laundry before heat they want conserve energy between 3pm and 9pm my time zone

Yes I remember Lee, I remember the picture that you once showed us of Lee, I hope she is doing well and is blessed.
Seeing a picture of your dog wearing a scarf reminds me of one woman that has a small dog and the dog wears a bow tie and that is so cute.
I have been keeping busy lately, always have work to do and I am in an interesting Bible study.
Kelly glad your AC is working well to keep you cool enough on these warm days.
I was wondering when mail ballots were going to be mailed out and you answered that question for me.

OK, I know what BS means, but I haven't ever heard of TDS... I have a feeling I'm going to be sorry I asked though. As far as what Kelly said, she simply posted what she thinks. She didn't post an article, which I appreciate since I asked everyone not to do that. I've now asked her to refrain from talking about Trump at all in this thread. I know that may be hard for her to remember, but I also know that she will try.

A very good message for this particular time in our lives. Our Pastor did it on his own and doesn't realize that he goes off camera at times.  He's used to the way it's done when they do the video when he's preaching at church. This was one of his "extras" he does at times and sends out. This is about politics today and the gospel and what's important. I love how he reminds us of that it was politics that crucified Jesus, and it was the most conservative religious party who were into politics at that time that crucified Him. Politics isn't all that important, not considering eternity anyway. If it was important, then God's Word would have all kinds of important political information for us. After all, think of the way the world was run by Rome at the time. Yet, basically we're just told to obey our rulers and to pray for them. Not to insist that the one we like is the very best to be had. Can you imagine the early Christians doing that??? One saying, "Nero is the best, he's going to make it so we're all better off!" And another one saying, "Nero is a jerk! He's totally insane!"

OK, I can't take any more nasty posts about politics. Therefore I'm making a rule for this board. No more posts or even comments about anything political in the chat threads or this forum. If you want to fight (which our Lord tells us not to do) then please go fight in the news forum. I don't go in there and therefore won't have to see it. As far as the vets go, I imagine for some of them it's just their normal way of business.... in other words, it's just a business to them. Others, like my vet, are scared to death about covid. He did see Angel once already after covid had started and I could easily see that he was scared to death of catching it. He had everyone stay in the car and only had me get out and put the carrier by the door. Then he came out and got it, and since I wasn't all the way to the car yet, he was telling me to keep walking and holding his arms out as though to keep me as far away from him as he could. I was really shocked. Plus, in the past, I've called him on weekends when I had a problem, and at night during the week, and his answering service gave him my message and he always called me right back. Now they won't even call him for any reason! (I was so upset that I asked the lady, "then why does he have you working for him, when all he needs is an answering machine!". She said she didn't know. I felt bad for saying that as soon as it was out of my mouth. I'd forgotten about it till now, so now I need to go ask the Lord to forgive me because that was totally unnecessary.
 I tend to be a hypochondriac and even I haven't been that bad!
I never did update after my mother came to Columbia last week for the 3rd opinion from another oncologist. As expected, "Dr. K" agreed with the first two doctors. Apparently they base their opinions off of standardized guidelines, so no matter where the patient goes, it seems like they're going to hear the same advice.
The one thing Dr. K did want to do, that the others have not done, is get a baseline CT scan and bone scan, so Mother is driving back to Columbia this afternoon and I will take her for the scans tomorrow. She has pretty much decided that if any cancer shows up on the scans she will probably take the chemo, and if nothing shows, she won't. This isn't foolproof because tiny cancers will NOT show on the scans, but it will make us feel better if they come back clear.
Thank you again for your prayers and concern. If you can, please just pray that all goes well tomorrow, and that the scans don't make her sick (a friend whose husband had cancer told me that every time he went for scans, the contrast dye made him sick... but the chemo never did. Isn't that odd?). And of course, we pray the results are clear.Well this is a work day for me and it should be especially busy because the optometry office was closed on Saturday. We're closed on Sun & Mon, so Tuesday is always our busiest day of the week anyway, but the phone should be really crazy today after being away for 3 days. I don't mind though, the day flies, and I enjoy the challenge of keeping everything going!

Yes we do have 200 wildfire with 60 campers still missing or trap behind the fire line what happen alot of campers were caught they didnt know about the fire some of the fires broke over the weekend
