Hi everyone! Looks like you're all doing well. Sorry I wasn't here yesterday. I just didn't get much sleep at all as I woke up in a lot of pain and couldn't go back to sleep. I didn't get enough sleep last night either but it was more then the night before at least. So that's why I wasn't here. Didn't do much of anything.

Hello friends, I've been wanting to get back in here and update on my mother. Actually, nothing really to update! So far she's had two consults with oncologists and they both recommend 4 rounds of chemo to hopefully keep the cancer from returning in other areas of the body. Radiation should keep it from coming back in the breast.
She is still not convinced that is the best thing for her at her age & keeps saying if she were 20 years younger, then probably so, but she is uncertain about how her body will take it at nearly 80. PLUS she's read that chemo can bring on dementia and we for SURE don't need that! 
Now we are waiting for an appointment with an oncologist here in Columbia for a 3rd opinion (an RN friend of mine used to work in this practice and highly recommends this particular doctor) and if Mother likes her and decides to take treatments, she will do them here so she can stay with us and not have to be home alone at the point when the side effects are worst.
If you don't mind continuing to pray for God's direction and peace in this decision, we sure would appreciate it. Mother said she's not afraid to take chemo (which is amazing because I would be!!), but oh-- another thing is her blood count is naturally low, and the chemo will drive that down even further and she has concerns about what that will do to her immune system.
That's what's going on here. I'm still working for the optometrist 2 days a week... we've been doing some remodeling on the house this summer... and keeping Timothy's "baby" -- his pit bull Nala, while he's at work every day. We're not as active at church since not much is going on there due to Covid.

BTW here warning for you folks don't be suprise if there might be sometime in the day I won't be able get on line because of wildfires threated our communication liness near Lake Hughes soI be around off and on don't be suprise that you wont hear from me a day these fires need get them out NY Minute now We have rain yesterday in my area no flooding but in certain area they did here the kicker none in fire area just valleys I have made the decision to venture forth to the one and only pet store within 70 miles of where I live, hopefully cooked BBQ dogs bones will be there in stock, I will buy 2 dog bones. My plan is to give each dog a BBQ bone to enjoy, as those bones will stay on the floor of my home for a year, being moved everyday to a new location and I hope I don't step on one of them, but anyways, I have two choices I can drive up to the building in my truck, which seems I think to be the prudent choice, or I could have the thought to social distance and trudge through the mud in the near by flood water, but I think I am to old to be able to walk in mud and keep my balance, so I will be lazy and drive up to the building in my truck, mask cover on my face, go into store and see if the dogs bones are in stock or not. |

OK? thanks hon!Lorrie, let's also pray that if your Mom does the chemo that she won't have any side effects from it. Bruce's cousin had stage 4 cancer and had chemo for several years. (she was your Mom's age too). That's what I prayed among other things, and for 3 years she had 0 side effects and felt great the entire time. The doctors were amazed and couldn't believe it. Sadly she passed away last month from something else, but the Lord answered our prayers and for that we're grateful! Your Mom is in my prayer list hon. I won't forget, and I've asked the Lord to remind me to pray whenever she (or you) needs it. Marlene, wouldn't it be easier to call them first to see if they have the bones in stock? At least that way you wouldn't have to drive all that way only to find out they didn't have any...

One thing for sure remember new stadium that being built in LA well for now they not going play with the fans that mean you could hear during the game plane coming out LAX going be loud and you may hear f-bombs during the games

BTW update time look like for now kids be going to school to 8am to 12pm then lunch then they have do homework for distance learning but certain schools would have school elementary on Tuesday middle Wednesay and High school for Thursday 8am to 12pm
Friday off
Yeah they going offer counselor some kids and parents having panic attacks so I could understand it
So I am working only between 8am to 12 on certain or 8am to 11am but I bring the work home then fax it over on testing scores

Looks like a pretty bird Lulu, about the size of a crow? looks like it is a midnight blue color? that reminds me soon when the weather is cooler I will be able to do bird watching, looking forward to that. It must be pretty in the CO mountains, my family vacationed there once. No DTS from me, I appreciate him, the hard work he does, and his graceful wife.

With this pandameeic I got off goooddd I still getting pay full salary and health benefits
BTW I came back from my doctor he telling me maybe reason I been having heat stroke my body chemistey change when I was in Alaska for 4 years so my body can't handle the heat I couldn't handle the heat he suggest that I should drink more water if you get really sick Hit 7-up or Ensure
I have my body cheminsity that changing

A few days ago I read where some people received some seeds in their with the (a) package delivered to them. Didn't order the seeds. Today I received my spigot that I ordered and with it was a bottle containing 60 capsules free that I did not ask for, did not order. It says, Alpha Yohimbine, premium Rauwolscine. Checked it out, it is a toxic plant that grows on one of the Hawaiian Island. It does sell online, on the bottle it says, fat burning potential, increased focus, healthy libido, 2mg of root bark. I threw them away. Read some reviews of what people said about it and their caution against taking it. People should not be sent something free that they did not ask for to sample.
