I don't know where Jeff is boondocking at now, haven't seen him in chat lately.
That is why they call it Death Valley. I would not be able to survive there without AC.
What a pretty sunflower. Sharon and I once grew such large and pretty sunflowers. I have not at all been able to have a garden in the location I am at now. Last I had a pepper plant on top of a trash can so nothing would destroyed it, the next morning I saw something ate the plant, even the birds would destroy my herbs, so I only grow indoors now, micro-greens and wheatgrass. Dogs like the wheatgrass juice, because they don't have to eat grass outdoors.
Cindy we posted at the same time, nice to see a video message from your pastor. beautiful morning here, a tat on the chilly side compared to what we’ve been use to! The furbabys are still cuddled up with me in bed, this is where I typically wake up with my first cup of coffee ☕️ cause I live their cuddles! today is laundry day, and clean Bee day ! Then over to our friends house later! have a great day! ❤️❤️🙏🙏

Cindy I hope you are able to grow the sunflower in your garden next year, when we grew sunflowers in the garden along with the vegetables it all worked out well and made it more of a fun garden to walk through.

Yeah, we've planted them before, but this time the kids have picked out dwarf sunflowers which look really neat. Hmmm Maybe we'll do that too as Bruce wants to grow more veggies again next year.

Look what I found! I used to have all of these as Cassettes and then as CD's LOl And played them every moment I was awake. It drove my teenage kids crazy, but they learned the scriptures too!  I'll post it as a video and as a link, because I'm not sure it will show as a video but even if it does, you won't be able to see what all are there.... this isn't every single one that I had, but it is most of them. Another update on Pastor John MacArthur
The governor has tried 3 times to stop Pastor MacArthur from having church
The 2nd court held Pastor in contempt
But.......
Today:
"The Los Angeles County Superior Court announced on August 20, 2020,
that there is no court order prohibiting Pastor John MacArthur
and Grace Community Church from holding indoor worship services".
So it is likely ( I think) the governor will try again.
But for now,
this is another win for Grace Community Church.
And I say, thank you Lord.

Just briefly checked on the fires in California.....for the most part they are increasing, and many are at zero containment.
So not the best news.
I am particularly interested because our granddaughter went to the North Bay for a week, to see her 1/2 sister and 1/2 brother.
But I 'think' she is in Brentwood,
(staying with the 4 year old 1/2 brother and his mom)
Brentwood does not seem to be near any fires as..... of yet.
But the 1/2 sister...older than Vanessa, is
(again I think)....
in Oakland maybe?

OHHH if she is in Bay area be careful the fire spreading I dont know where right now most of So CAL fire are in mountains but Brentwood consider the hills don't be suprise if fire break out in Brentwood

CA is burning up again this summer, like nowhere else. I don't think all that much burning is from lightning strikes. Last night we had a fire start near me in the foothills, was quickly growing as I don't think anyone was on the scene yet but rain came and that put out the fire. I think CA will have mudslide problems soon that we will hear about on the news. With all the fires there, nature has done back burning, so it seems like there should not be that much fires burning like there is. I know an online woman that got burned out of her home last year from the CA fire. She move to I don't remember where, but she is doing fine now.

Yes majority came from tropical storm that lightings in it be honest Anna there some in dry brush got stricken with strike BOOM you got yourself wildfire
I think most serious I seen in 20 years I am LA Native I never seen like this before in my lifetime even my mom told me she never ever seen the weather like this before it was really freaky

We are in the latter days, seeing what strange is happening on this earth, with the weather... I have heard that with Covid 19, people get over it, but it will stay in their system for 2 to 5 years being destructive, to organs, motor skills and cardiac arrest. I have heard it will mutate, so I don't think it is going away. The only thing we can do is pray. There is no man made solution to what is taking place.

Also for example Alaska getting warmer. I heard mention about a B-17 bomber world war 2 airplane( I had a neighbor friend that flew one of those planes in world war two) they are large planes that took a lot of runway to get off the ground, anyways one of those planes crashed in Alaska back during that time, it was 200 feet under the ice, it was dug out of the ice, I think dissembled piece by piece, at that time they dug down 1000 feet around the plane.
