However it has not shown up for days
But I think you are right there is something wonky either with computer
I should probably turn computer off
that always seems to rid problems
But I prob won't do it for a few days because I have 2 windows open that I don't want to have to hunt thru images to find again
( I am looking at one image for a painting, but I have not felt well enough to paint for a week or more, so I just keep it up).

But, to get rid of the weird code that gets stuck in there, you can only see if you are not in "preview" mode. Only in BBCode mode, at the bottom of your reply screen. And I see it anywhere I've double spaced after a sentence. It doesn't happen, if I single space after the period.[/smear:#9e19e6:0] I tried to cook like baked apples in my pressure cooker. How did that turn out?, you ask. lol not good. When I opened the lid to get the cooked apples there was nothing there, they disintegrated to nothing, nada!lol
That is to bad about your computer problem of not being able to use your Bible library. Maybe if you fight longer with computer somehow it will end up working. I have done that before, not knowing what I was doing and somehow it worked.
Finally that video Secret Garden that I ordered way yesterday's ago, has shipped and will be in the mailbox soon.
hum I just now noticed the paint brush. Let us give that a try, shall we. How about I try to draw a cat. I drew it and lost it, oh well, the eraser did not work so ... it is not easy to use that paint brush, no more attempts at drawing for me.
The new computer was been given to my daughter Jennifer and her family on Sunday and they're on cloud nine now as they were also in desperate need of a new computer. There's is as old as mine or rather, was as old as mine. So they're enjoying the new computer and love being able to do things they couldn't do on their old one due to it's age.
I'm back on my old computer and once again able to use y library. I miss the new stuff they've added but some day I'll be able to use it all again. I just have to be patient and wait on the Lord.
I see your kitty too and think you did a great job on it! I know how hard that drawing thing is to use and there's no way I'd even try to draw something like that!

Well my computer or whatever the problem is just got weirder
yesterday ( as you mentioned I used the smear.....

come back etc etc.
Soooo time has passed
finally I get back to Bible study ( the reply window still open)

It WAS NOT NOT there!!!

Well here iN LA we got firsttt rain storm it came down after school then I got drenched so I jump into hot shower and now I am in PJ I am not going anywhere beside Mom decided make her Irish potato soup that I love so I am down for the night
I been watching replay of Impeachment hearing why ending of Goodfellas or Casino in subconciius this not looking good for Trump at all

Try clearing your browser cache as well...that might help with the freezes.when caches fill up it could make things slow down.
Chromeboks are basically google sitting inside your computer, who knows what goes on....everyone *trusts* google, right?
Print drivers can also change how stuff is fornatted on a computa page, see if its the latest version.

We are born with a corrupt spirit, because we are born sinners. Everyone has been born with a corrupted spirit since Adam sinned. God has to give us a new spirit so that we can be saved, because as we're told those who are controlled by their sinful nature (spirit) cannot please God: “the sinful mind is hostile to God. It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God.” (Romans 8:7–8) Having this new spirit is what makes us a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17) The New Spirit, which is also sometimes called the new nature, is not added to our old spirit, it replaces it. That's why and how we can be called a completely new creation. God doesn't do things half way. 
When the Bible uses the term "Mind" or the term "heart" it is usually speaking about both. In the original language the Bible was written in, each term includes the characteristics of both. For example, when speaking about Proverbs 4:23, MacArthur says:
“Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.” (Proverbs 4:23)
The “heart” commonly refers to the mind as the center of thinking and reason (Proverbs 3:3; Proverbs 6:21; Proverbs 7:3), but also includes the emotions (Proverbs 15:15, Proverbs 30), the will (Proverbs 11:20; Proverbs 14:14), and thus, the whole inner being (Proverbs 3:5). The heart is the depository of all wisdom and the source of whatever affects speech (Proverbs 4:24), sight (Proverbs 4:25), and conduct (Proverbs 4:26-27). This is true all through the bible, because in the original language the Bible was written in, the word heart included thoughts and thinking, and the word mind, included feelings. Both were about your inner self.
“You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks. The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him.” (Matthew 12:34–35)
The Bible us that our thoughts cause our emotions and our actions. In other words, what we think about will cause us to either feel good or bad and will determine how we act. If we are filled with God's love, then we will say and do loving things. If are filled with evil things then we will speak and act in evil ways. This is why the Lord tells us that we are to guard our hearts (and minds) and that we are to always be in control of what we allow into our hearts and minds.
“For while we were in the flesh, the sinful passions, which were aroused by the Law, were at work in the members of our body to bear fruit for death.” (Romans 7:5 NASB)
“For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.” (Romans 7:5 KJV)
“For when we were controlled by the sinful nature, the sinful passions aroused by the law were at work in our bodies, so that we bore fruit for death.” (Romans 7:5 NIV)
In Romans 7:5 the word "members" simply means our "parts of our body." So let's look at the verse more carefully and see what it means. "For while we were in the flesh" is another way of saying, before we were saved, or when we had our old spirit, or old nature. So Paul is saying that before we were saved, the sinful passions that were aroused by the law, were at work in the various parts of our bodies to bring form fruit for death.
The law causes people to realize that they cannot keep the law by themselves, because when we know what the law says, it tends to make us want to do the very things it says we are not to do! God tells us not to have sex outside of marriage, but knowing that, we go and have sex anyway. So the fruit of our behavior is sin which brings forth death, because the wages for any sin is death.
To be clear, Romans 7:5 is talking about a person who is not saved. They do not have a new spirit. Someone who is saved cannot ever be "in the flesh" because they have a new spirit. Then Paul goes on to say, “But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.” (Romans 7:6 NIV) We are not free to do what God says not to, but because we died in Christ when He died, we are freed from the spiritual liabilities and penalties of God's law. God has given us both the desire to obey Him and the ability to obey Him so that we no longer have to sin. We now have a choice! For some reason, this is hard for me to explain.... Just like a woman who is married is freed from her marriage when her husband dies, so we are freed from the laws tempting us to sin. God frees us so that we don't have to live by the old code but can now live by the new spirit He gave us. I like the way one of my commentaries puts it: The Christian life is not one of independence & rebellion. We died to the Law that we might be “married to Christ.” We were delivered from the Law that we might serve Christ. The Bible exposition commentary

Yesterday we went to Elijah's 14th birthday party. It just doesn't seem possible that he's going to be that old in just another week or so. Shortly it will be time for Gracie's birthday party. I'm getting way too old!

Soon in our studies with Michael he will be talking about how not to suppress things inside but to purge ourselves instead. He said purging ones self is in the Bible. Then he said he will be talking about the Samaritan text. I don't think I have ever heard anyone talk about the Samaritan text, I will listen and decide if it is helpful for me or if not. I am guessing it will help some people, but not all people. I will say a prayer about it for what is right for me.

This Samaritan Pentateuch is not a version in the strict sense of the word, but rather a manuscript portion of the Hebrew text itself. It contains the five books of Moses and is written in a Paleo-Hebrew script quite similar to that found on the Moabite Stone, the Siloam inscription, the Lachisch letters, and in particular some of the older biblical manuscripts from Qumran. A General Introduction to the Bible
As far as "purging ourselves" goes, I've never heard of anything even similar to that. However, it is true that we shouldn't dwell on negative things or the past - except when we're reflecting on the blessings God gave us in the past. That part is Biblical. For example: “Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:13–14) “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.” (Philippians 4:8) “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” (2 Corinthians 10:5) But "Purging" may simply be the word he's chosen to describe it, so I really can't say anything for sure about it.

 We got some bad news from the doctor today. I have Emphysema now. I couldn't believe it when I was told how much my new inhaler will cost every month...$400! That's just insane. So, obviously we don't have that kind of money, or anything close to it. The hospital will be able to get it for me for free but it's going to take a while due to the holidays and the coming new year. So it may be awhile before I can get it. It would help so much if you all could pray and ask the Lord to cause the company to get me the medication quickly. I'd sure appreciate it!

Cindy, will say prayer that you get the new inhaler, wow 400 dollars for an inhaler, glad you will be able to get one.
Yes I should have wrote Samaritan Pentateuch and yes purging must be the words Michael chose to use. Michael was in the military so he is used to not needing to sleep with a regular sleep pattern. He was awake for 3 days and when he does sleep he said only for about two hours. Ron has been staying up all night sometimes and then goes to sleep at sunrise and then usually sleeps for about 4 hours. I like the scriptures that you wrote. We do talk about the importance of taking captive our thoughts. Jeff explained to me why we are double minded if we do not pray without ceasing. He said, even after we are saved, spirits in the flesh often commandeer the whole man. We are not yet fully regenerated.Since we don't know we are in ceremony for demons all day, it is an accident to us, but it's no accident that the culture tricks us to do it all day.This is why we need to pray without ceasing. The old heart is the demons in our flesh. The new heart is the holy spirit in our soul. We are controlled by one or the other at any given moment.

Seven, I like Christmas music. It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas, everywhere you go, well not so much for you and I lol just rain, no snow.
Barbra, I saw a satellite image of a storm that came ashore off the Oregon coast Nov. 26th , called a bomb cyclone, the wind over the ocean was 114 mph and when it got to the coast the wind was 70 to 80 mph. That was a 40 millibar drop in pressure, which was a record breaker.
Cindy in your area there will probably be a Nor'easter on December 3rd.

Please, for her sake, tell her that she needs to read her Bible remembering to pay attention to the context. For example, when she asks where the tree is, etc, tell her to look at the verses before Matthew 3:10 and ask herself what Jesus is talking about in those verses. In other words, she should read Matthew 3:5–12 and think about who Jesus is talking to; (the pharisees) what Jesus is saying to them. She should ask herself how the pharisees have treated Jesus before, and what kind of attitude does Jesus have toward them? She should also be told that she needs to pray when she opens her Bible and ask the Lord to guide her and teach her what He wants her to learn as she reads it. (and assure her that the Lord will indeed do exactly that!) Then when she has a question about what she's reading, she should first ask the Lord the question, then read the section over again and possibly read some other place that the Lord will show her. If she still doesn't understand, she can still ask people about it too.
“But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to where he was baptizing, he said to them: “You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath? Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. And do not think you can say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham. The ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire. “I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me will come one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not fit to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor, gathering his wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”” (Matthew 3:7–12)
1,where is the tree ? John is speaking to the Pharisees who are the leaders of the people of Israel. They are the nations teachers and leaders especially as far as their religion goes. The people, including the pharisees of that time were looking for the Messiah. Whenever the people thought someone might be the Messiah, the Pharisees would go and question that person to discover if the person met the requirements to be the Messiah. (But they didn't like Jesus so they wouldn't tell the people that He was the Messiah. They were leading the people astray.) John knew this. So he said what I quoted above to them. Look carefully at what he said to them. The Jews, especially the pharisees, believed that only the gentiles would come under God's wrath and that anyone who was born Jewish would be saved. So suggesting they flee from the coming wrath was a slap in the face to them. John constantly told the people that this thinking was wrong. No one was saved just because they were born a Jew. He told them the only true Jewish people are those who believed as Abraham did and lived their faith the way Abraham did. (Jesus told them the same thing).
Finally in the next verse he says that the ax is already laid at the root of the tree. John has not changed the subject, and he hasn't changed who he is talking to. The tree is the Nation of Israel (which is who the Pharisees represented as the leaders of the country). John said if the Nation of Israel did not bear good fruit, the Nation would be cut down...destroyed. John was warning them of the Judgment that would come if the Nation of Israel did not accept Jesus as their Messiah. The axe about to chop the root of the trees is a reference to the impending judgment coming upon Israel (God’s chosen tree, Romans 11) if they reject the Messiah-King (Jesus). Not having fruit is being shown as a lack of trusting Jesus as their Messiah and not having any spiritual life. No fruit means no life in the soul.

Only those who don't believe in Jesus will be baptized in fire. It's another way of saying that God will judge them and find them wanting so they will go to Hell.

Barbra, I saw a satellite image of a storm that came ashore off the Oregon coast Nov. 26th , called a bomb cyclone, the wind over the ocean was 114 mph and when it got to the coast the wind was 70 to 80 mph. That was a 40 millibar drop in pressure, which was a record breaker.
Cindy in your area there will probably be a Nor'easter on December 3rd.
I'm sorry Barbara, my grandkids are here now so I have to go now. I'll be back after Thanksgiving!

We spent Thanksgiving at with our daughter-in-law's parents. Cold and rainy here. A friend of mine from Sunday School died on Wednesday. Today would have been her birthday. I can't imagine how hard it would be to plan a funeral at Thanksgiving. Praying for her family.

One of Audio music channel has Classicial Yule log channel it really good I hear Nutcracker entire version of ballet on this channel on Black Friday well I been inside the house just kick back watch football and binge cozi tv

Cindy, glad you canceled your doctor appointment so you all don't have to drive and walk in the snow and maybe ice. That sounds like fun to decorate your home and listen to Christmas music at the same time. I like the Christmas lights blinking different colors, nice change for about a month or so every year.
Thanks for what you wrote answering those e-mail questions I got, that was well said and again to those difficult to understand questions.

But I know you've seen it because you've been using it in the bible study thread as recently as yesterday.... 
We got some bad news from the doctor today. I have Emphysema now. I couldn't believe it when I was told how much my new inhaler will cost every month...$400! That's just insane. So, obviously we don't have that kind of money, or anything close to it. The hospital will be able to get it for me for free but it's going to take a while due to the holidays and the coming new year. So it may be awhile before I can get it. It would help so much if you all could pray and ask the Lord to cause the company to get me the medication quickly. I'd sure appreciate it!
