Glad to see that everyone had a pleasant Thanksgiving. I sat around, ate chips and binge watched Major Crimes.
Thank you Margie, for the lovely and thoughtful Thanksgiving card. I’m so sorry for your loss. And, I do have to add my 2 cents, regarding losing a loved one around the holidays. It really doesn’t matter what season our loved ones leave this world. Thanksgiving & Christmas still comes, year after year, reminding us that they are not here to share it with us. And, for me, there is no one left at all. Joshua died two weeks before Thanksgiving 26 years ago. Ed died 11 days after Christmas. The pain will never leave me be. God sustains me.

Cindy, glad you canceled your doctor appointment so you all don't have to drive and walk in the snow and maybe ice. That sounds like fun to decorate your home and listen to Christmas music at the same time. I like the Christmas lights blinking different colors, nice change for about a month or so every year.
Thanks for what you wrote answering those e-mail questions I got, that was well said and again to those difficult to understand questions. Yep, we woke up to already having 14 inches of snow and the storm won't be over until tomorrow! It's pretty, but I don't look forward to Bruce having to clear it all away from the deck and sidewalk. I don't know how, as I didn't wake up till 7 this morning, but Bruce managed to get to work anyway. He always has though. Weather never stops him.
I'm glad I was able to help her. I sure hope she reads that article I wrote about how to study the Bible. I'm sure it will help her understand it better.

It's too bad you don't like snow Cheryl, cause if you moved to our little town, you'd have ready made family and friends and a great church to belong too. But I understand about the snow, and we do get a lot of it, at least some times..like now lol.

I just wanted everyone to know that I've updated the end times forum with some great new articles for you. I will attempt to continue to keep it updated as best I can. Hopefully, some will find it interesting and will respond to them. I'm also going to start a new thread in this forum for questions about the Bible. Maybe more folks will have some questions they'd like answered.

Well, like I said yesterday, we work up to 14 inches of snow, then got about 2 more inches through the day. I thought the storm was over, but no....we woke up to an additional 14 inches this morning! And the plow truck had plowed us in! Bruce wound up getting a ride in to work with a friend, and a neighbor plowed us out with her tractor, thank the Lord. So anyway, we have about 28 inches of snow now and it's still coming down pretty hard. I have no idea what the grand total is going to be!
Edited to add: Jennifer just told me that our snow total made the 6 am News! We actually had 32 inches of snow as of 6am this morning! And we've gotten more since then!

Wow Cindy, that is a lot of snow, thank the Lord your neighbor plowed you out with their plow truck. Glad you are starting a new thread for Bible questions. Actually, she has this little tractor that mows the lawn and digs and also plows lol. It's really neat, and she has a blast running it!
I don't know why I didn't think of doing that before since answering questions about the bible is my favorite thing of all to do. Glad I finally did though. I just hope someone who has questions sees it

We didn't get much more snow after that. I think the grand total after it was all over last night was 36" of snow.

I continue to Thank my Lord and Savior God, for leading me to Cindy..... and all of you. Such a blessing!! I have been feeling better for almost 2 days now.... I think my 2 mt cold 'might' be on it's way out but I am not willing to declare total victory yet LOL It's tricked me before and it is not 100 percent gone
It's one of the reasons I have not been here the worst tho, was the vertigo the sneezing, coughing, congestion, sore throat, super tired etc. I got used to but it was not just the big spinning but the almost constant ( seemingly) dizziness arrgghhhh! That really did me in!!! And that is 'almost' gone....but not entirely.
I can think of a 'gift' I would like for Christ-mas being raptured :)
Wow! Cinyd....that's a wee bit of snow!!!!
And I love your idea of Bible Questions as I prayerfully start to feel better I will most likely be there LOL

Send the video of that LA car chase, if there is a video of it. I am always glad when the police dog is ok. I know from experience not to smile at a border patrol police dog, and think how cute the dog is.

I'm glad you're starting to feel better Barbara, that cold sounds really nasty!
I wanted to let everyone know, since I realize people often don't bother to look in the forum, but I posted on the photobucket thread that shows where else you can upload your smilies and graphics too. I explained that I've started to upload all mine to imgbb and gave directions if anyone wants to grab any of mine. So far I've uploaded about 872, but have literally thousands more to go. So check out that thread if you want any of them.

Hi everyone,
I wanted to share this - the tough pioneering spirit that founded both Australia and the USA - alive and strong.
Fire crews aged 70+ fighting wild fires ( what we call bush fires ).
Feel free to share.
They also need a lot of prayer support too please to keep them safe and healthy.www.abc.net.au/news/2019-11-15/dads-army-fighting-fires-woodgate-bundaberg-qld/11707876

"A group of volunteer rural firefighters all aged over 70 are challenging the retiree stereotype, donning firefighting gear and helping put out blazes near Woodgate during the bushfire emergency in southern Queensland.
"The "Dad's Army" of 20 retirees had two crews out fighting a large bushfire burning near Woodgate Road and Woppis Road towards Walkers Point Road in Woodgate this week.
"John Foster was one of the crew who volunteered putting his retirement on hold to help protect the community of 1,000.
"He said the firefighting effort over the last two days has been intense but everyone was chipping in, regardless of their age.
""Woodgate, being what it is, there's a lot of older people here — retirees — quite a lot of them are over 70 and I'm one of them," Mr Foster said.
""When I first came to Woodgate one of my friends said the best thing to do is to join the rural fire brigade, so I did — it's a good way to meet people".
