Here's our new chat thread. I carried over the last couple of posts: well, we are down to 2 weeks, big dumpster out front to throw away years of stuff! but not the sweetest ones, they are being packed. we got our truck on Saturday, and the Silver Bee will be here next week. That's the name of our airstream trailer. I'm wicked excited, Ron can't believe we're really gonna do this thing! I know he's gonna love it! Wow Moving right along Lulu!!! everyone! Somebody better grab the next chat thread! It’s way over due! We have a lot to do today! Hugs

Be honest I been watching a lot of TCM movies lately seem 911 on Fox start bored me the Neighborhood still watch that with Cedirc the Entrainer and Poldark getting good I don't know about you guys I been watching a lot of Fox movie channel on demand and Turner classic movies
Especially this month with Godzilla movies on Friday nights

Yup it is true my Yoga pants governor GaviN Nesowm sign a new law start that schools don't start before 8am in most school district I don't know about you guys I remember going to school around 7:45am in the morning start time was 7:55am
I don't know wait these kids need be a job at 6am they going have major meltdown

Just wanted you all to know that I have to go with Bruce to a doctor appointment today and he has day surgery tomorrow morning so I won't be able to here till Saturday. The day surgery is just another injection,except he's doing it guided by an xray, and into Bruce's SI joint. I'm praying this will solve his lower back/buttocks pain.

I won't be looking to seeing you in the Bible study for a few days at least I am thinking, which is find, when you are able....take care of Bruce and prayerfully you will feel a tad better soon, God willing.
I too don't feel great today and its 1/2 day school for the 3 children and tomorrow they are off for the whole day sigh!!

Thanks everyone! The procedure went well. It's too soon to tell if it's working or not though. They told him to just take it easy for the next two weeks. So, he is
I'm once again in the process of weaning Angel off her prednisone. I'm hoping I'll have her off of it by this time next week. That would be awesome!
We still have to go get a few groceries today, but other then that, Bruce will be relaxing....after he helps me in the garden anyway!
I really want to write my testimony about how the Lord made me quit smoking. Hopefully I'll be able to do that today; but if not, it will be soon!

Our daughter started smoking way young ( we did not know for a long time)
but now she is 47 and not really able to give it up.
However, it will be uplifting to hear how the Lord was able to do it for you :-)

Cindy, I'm so looking forward to your testimony. You told me about it, over the phone, but I know there is more testimony to tell. I was thinking about this, just yesterday. I was wondering if your quitting was still that....a quit. And how you are doing. As you know, I'm also struggling with this addiction, and I need to let go, and let God, but I am a coward. Many times God has removed my craving, and I've allowed my fear to set in, and didn't fully quit. I need to read your testimony and let it sink in, once and for all. I REALLY need to quit.

Yes, I haven't smoked a cig since... I think it was August 11th. I promise I'll write the testimony as soon as I can, ok? Last week was crazy with the two doctor appointments and all. This week should be a lot easier, at least I'm hoping it will be.

I'm sure I'm not the only one that's had an unbeliever say something as stupid as he did, so I want to write about why they'd say such a thing and why they're so very wrong. Again, It will probably be tomorrow before I can get to it though... sorry...

But just want to say: I have had some experience too with unbelieving doctors and doctors say mean, non compassionate, dumb silly things!!!!
It is hurtful and makes me angry too!!! grrrrrr
Of course, I then remember I have to pray for them....which I don't need to tell you ( you were the one who reminds me)
But I am sure whatever he said must be a doozy!!
And...
They are often so puffed up with pride and a sooooo much more intelligent than thou attitude
arrrggghhhhh

Breaking news I got wild fire going on 405 freeway interchange to 101 freeway BTW there about 10 differnet fires burning in state of CA RIGHT NOWWWWW big one is up in Frisco Oaktown area this Canyon fire broke out
Now 405 freeway may shut down

Heard some about the fires in CA, but not much news. Not good for trying to breathe and makes the eyes water from irritation. One time when we had a fire near our home I was thinking about driving to another town and staying in a hotel for a few nights, it is difficult to breathe in the smoke, firefighters need to be paid well.
Been baking lately, have a chicken pot pie in the oven now, baked yesterday meatloaf and mac and cheese, so I am able to make some freezer meals.

I hope you and your Mom stay safe Kelly! Is there a friend or relative you and your mom could go stay with for awhile to get away from the fire? Praying for you all!
I remember the one time I was around a fire and it did make it very hard for me to breathe.

Actually I am far way where I am at I am at bottom of basin the air quality really sucks right now so I staying in only people that school districts affect by wildfire is San Berndraio school distict they cancel Thursday and Friday Today they make decision probably Sunday night for Monday if they reopen the school I am far way I could see from the distance
