Cindy, of course I noticed the change in colors.
Watch a movie last night Run for the Sun 1956. Looks like it was restored and was in color. I liked the movie, actor Richard Widmark, Trevor Howard and Jane Greer. Richard and Jane airplane crashed on an island and they had to fight their way to get off of the island.
Tonight I am going to watch a movie, Impact,1949, black and white movie, staring Brian Donlevy, Charles Coburn, Ella Rains and Helen Walker.

Cindy you mentioned that you’re downloading. Once you are certain that you’ve installed all your downloads, of course you know to empty your cache. But then go to your downloads file (in the yellow folder), and delete everything in it. Then empty your recycle bin. It will make a world of difference.

Well yesterday I was watching Kelly's Heroes that movie hold up I knew people like that back in Alaska LOL! especially among American officer try get over Brit officers in Fairbanks AK LOL!

Speaking of Movies if you get Movies tv network your local Fox station sub channel they been showing Musicals from Golden age of Holllywood like Star is Born the 1951 verson and Film noir classic the Street has no name and Suddenly www.moviestvnetwork.comThey got where to watch banner this channel was add to SO CAL over the air broadcast channel few years back |

I don't think I will be using that movietvnetwork, which looks nice to use for people that can use it. I saw the movie there, The Treasure of the Sierra Madre, one of my favorites, I had the DVD of that movie but lost it.
I do like film noir to use to find old movies. I like the love stories with a happy ending. Sherlock Holmes movies, with Basil Rathbone, use to be my favorite, but I have watched those movies so many times, so I don't watch them anymore.

@cheryl I'm still having a lot of problems with my bible library freezing. I have to admit that it's shown me something though. I didn't think the Lord had increased my ability to be patient at all over the years, but He really has! I haven't thrown anything yet!!!! 
I've even uninstalled a few programs just to see if I could free up enough space for it to work, but no go. I'm running out of ideas. If I didn't have the Bible library, it would work fantastic and I'd be in 7th heaven, but the Bible library is the main thing I use. In fact it's pretty much the only thing I use besides coming here to FH. I guess I'm going to have to have Bruce hook up my old computer again this weekend so that I can at least use my Bible library. I'm having withdrawals now. In 5 hours I only got through 4 verses today, because of it constantly freezing. (2 Kings 2:11 -14). And it's one of my favorite stories!!! 
Anyway, I'll have to give you a call Saturday if you're going to be home. I know we'll have to do the shopping too, so not sure what time it will be.... ...

OK, thought colorsmear wasn't working but finally figured out it actually is lol, so let me explain how to use it in a post. First, I'm just going to use different examples so we can see what it does.
Here's some examples, first with it being used where I've already got everything else formatted to dark green and [smear:#096615]just change the last few words to colorsmear.[/smear:#6d19e6:1] Now, here these words are only formatted with bold and [smear:#e65419]the last part with colorsmear.[/smear:#19e6cf:1]Now, here these words are only formatted with bold and font size with [smear:#28e619]colorsmear in the last part.[/smear:#e66d19:1][smear:#1979e6]Finally this is colorsmear by itself.[/smear:#e61938:1] The problem (if you want to call it that) is that you can't see what it will look like until you actually post it. It doesn't show up on "preview" like everything else. So I have no idea myself what these will look like or even if they'll all work lol.
Anway, this is how to use it: First, highlight the words you want to have the colorsmear on. Then click the colorsmear button. (It's just to the right of the smiley button on the second row). It will pop up a short box that asks you first for the start color. Don't worry, you don't have to remember codes or anything like that. Simply click on the blank box by color one and it will pop up a box of colors for you to choose from. Do the same on end color. Then in the last box where it says, Mode, click on that and choose how many color changes you want it to do. I've been using the double one (if that's of any help lol). All we can do is play with it and have fun and see what happens.

Cindy, have you tried calling the Bible program manufacturer to see if it’s compatible with the 8.1? It should be, but just a thought. I would have slammed something by now, lol. Did you do the %temp% in the run program? Also, since it’s sounds like huge program, check to see how much working memory it needs. Because if it’s freezing, it sounds like the working memory is the culprit.

Yeah, I got pretty frustrated yesterday...the cats could tell and wanted to comfort me but that only made me more frustrated because they wouldn't get out of my way. What I don't like is
sometimes it shows up on edit
and
sometimes its not there....frustrating arrrgghhh
So far today, its not there???

I not sure I understand what you mean Barbara. I told you in the instructions that you won't see it until you post it. And since you can't see it until it's posted, if you edit your post it's still not going to show up. Therefore if you wanted to change it, you'd just have to do it all over again I guess. Hummm I think its Chrome since this is a chrome book....
yes, when it shows up that is where it is at :)
However it has not shown up for days
But I think you are right there is something wonky either with computer
I should probably turn computer off
that always seems to rid problems
But I prob won't do it for a few days because I have 2 windows open that I don't want to have to hunt thru images to find again
( I am looking at one image for a painting, but I have not felt well enough to paint for a week or more, so I just keep it up).

But, to get rid of the weird code that gets stuck in there, you can only see if you are not in "preview" mode. Only in BBCode mode, at the bottom of your reply screen. And I see it anywhere I've double spaced after a sentence. It doesn't happen, if I single space after the period.[/smear:#9e19e6:0]

I tried to cook like baked apples in my pressure cooker. How did that turn out?, you ask. lol not good. When I opened the lid to get the cooked apples there was nothing there, they disintegrated to nothing, nada!lol
That is to bad about your computer problem of not being able to use your Bible library. Maybe if you fight longer with computer somehow it will end up working. I have done that before, not knowing what I was doing and somehow it worked.
Finally that video Secret Garden that I ordered way yesterday's ago, has shipped and will be in the mailbox soon.
hum I just now noticed the paint brush. Let us give that a try, shall we. How about I try to draw a cat. I drew it and lost it, oh well, the eraser did not work so ... it is not easy to use that paint brush, no more attempts at drawing for me.
