I am so sorry to hear how much pain you are in Cindy. I totally understand about heat and its effect.
Even waaaay back when I was 'young',
and in fair shape,
heat would give me a terrible headache and I would ache in my bones.
so having a small idea ( but not really) of how it is for you now)......I can agree, no more trying to do in hot weather!!!

 Yeah I'm still recuperating from it, but now the coffee helps LOL. It was really nice though. Afterward, on facebook, Jenn had posted some pictures from the cookout and our pastors wife posted that the kids had more fun at our house then any of the other cookouts the church had that year! That really surprised me. Not that the kids had fun, I could see they were enjoying themselves from the time their feet touched the grass lol. It just surprised me that the other homes didn't include the children in their plans for the cookout. It's probably because I have so many grandkids of all different ages, so have all kinds of toys and things for the kids to do. We even went out and bought something extra for the kids to do that day lol. Because to me, parents can't really enjoy themselves unless their kids are occupied and safe too. |

I'm so happy to hear that the kids had so much fun at your cookout! And, they did because you are attuned to children. Not saying that your friends are not, because I don't know them. But, it seems more and more, nowadays parents and their kids just don't click. Too much of the electronic gadgets taking up one or both of their attentions, instead of one on one. It's not that way in your home. I just wish you could have enjoyed yourself more. I'm sorry that the heat got to you, the way it did and then you suffered more, because of it.

Hey, I found out something, that some of you might be interested in. I was talking to my physical therapist, this last session. I was in the pool for aquatic therapy and commented that the warm water must be helping me to keep the foot cramps from happening. But, told him that once a cramp, in the water, sets in I have to get out and cannot go back in. Anyway, it reminded me of the soap remedy and who better than a physical therapist to tell about it, huh? So, I asked him if he knows how to make a muscle cramp go away very quickly. Not expecting the right answer, he right away, with as much enthusiasm, as we have, talking about the soap remedy, he blurts out "Yes, METAL!" I said, "Huh?" He said that something in the metal causes the cramp to go away. He had gotten a cramp and a friend of his told him to put his car keys on it, and he did, and the cramp went away. So, last night I had a foot cramp and didn't have a bar of soap in my purse, so I decided to put my car keys on it, and well I'll be...........it worked!

That reminds me, last year, the Lord gave me two days off the morphine. (days I didn't have bad pain so didn't have to take the morphine). It was great! I was wondering if I'd get a day off this year, when I got so sick. But during that time, I got three days in a row off the morphine! (if I don't have to stand or walk, then I don't have any pain for the most part, and those 3 days were my worst when I literally couldn't do anything and had to use the wheelchair to get the short distance to the bathroom. And I only had to do that a couple of times a day since I wasn't eating and was drinking very little.) Doctors don't believe me when I tell them that I don't even think about the morphine when I'm not in pain, and generally don't even realize that I didn't take any until I'm setting up my meds for the next day and see that they're all still there, lol. Just like they now don't believe that I don't think about cigarettes now that I've quit smoking.  Oh well. Such is life I guess. I really do wish the LORD would find a different way for me to deal with the pain though so I could quit taking this morphine. I hate taking it, and hate going to the doctor so I can take it. OK, sorry, rant over.

Talk about impeachment or a civil war I think is just silly talk someone trying to stir up trouble that people have no interest in unless they are really bored and want some attention. Seven comment, what do you think?
Went to the site christian books and bought a music cd, while there I happened to see the dvd Secret Garden for only 7 dollars, so I bought that also.
I don't think my old computer will download windows 10 so I am going to have Ron switch things over to using Linux microsoft.

GOD chooses our leaders. Not Pelosi or shiffty. And President Donald Trump has done more FOR our country and our people, than any President has ever done. And the Democrats are out for themselves. They care nothing for the American People. All they care about is their pocketbook. And if Trump is not re-elected, it is by GOD's choice! And God's reasons only!

Funny I was just thinking yesterday about how for a long time Bible teachers were saying that something would have to happen to the US to make it so that we're no longer the top world power since we're not mentioned in the Bible in the prophecies of the tribulation or end times. Then I realized that it's already happened. The US is no longer the great world power we once were, and we are now looked down upon for many reasons. This is due to much of what Obama, Trump and other presidents have done over recent years. Our country is falling apart, and it will continue to do so. It's going the same way Rome did. It could stop and not continue to get worse at any point as I believe we're already so far gone that it's not really necessary for us to get worse, but it won't get better, not really anyway. The thought in the past was that the US would stop the antichrist, but we'd welcome him home and throw him a banquet at this point, just like any other degenerate nation would. It wouldn't surprise me if there was a civil war here, but it doesn't have to happen. People today are so angry about everything, (especially about things concerning God and His Word) which is the main reason I'd think it could happen. But then again, it could continue as it is and simply come out as more riots and mass murders etc.. I think that's much more likely personally. I bet whoever is elected as our next president will continue to make a lot of people very angry and that things will continue to deteriorate, especially morals.

I agree Cindy it does not matter who will be elected....if President Trump is re-elected, or a different Republican or one of the Democrats.....the anger and divide will only continue.
I know politics has always been antagonistic ( same with kings) throughout the history...
and many people have died as a result
But I wonder if this is gearing up to be the worst yet?
We know the US is not mention in end times so something keeps us out of the 'limelight' so to speak.
And the internet seems to only fuel the debate, angers, conspiracies ( be they true or not).
I think there are people on both sides in our country preparing for a 'civil' war....we may not need any outside influence, we may just do ourselves in?
And in a way, this might be part of what the anti-Christ needs
to then come along
a bring 'peace' to the world...........
not!
So I guess we may see sooner than later perhaps?

I have read, for years, everyone on FH and other places, stating that the USA isn't mentioned in the end times. What other countries are not listed? We are North America, and there are other countries, that make up North America. So, is that saying that Mexico and Canada are not mentioned? How about England and Australia? Are they mentioned?

If we were to have continued to have a big say in what happens in Israel or to Israel, then we would have to be mentioned in the Bible. At this point though, we've already begun to pull away and aren't as involved as we used to be. Plus, at this point, most countries don't have a positive image of us and aren't interested in what we think or what we want. They're still putting up with us but that seems to be mainly because they're unsure of just how much power our military still has. Sadly for us, our military isn't anywhere near as powerful as we used to be, and once those other nations realize that, then they'll know they can simply ignore us if they choose to, or take whatever they want from us.
Obviously, I have no idea exactly what's going to happen. There could be a civil war, or there could be war with Iran or Al Queda or several muslim countries may come against us. (but the fighting would be on our soil). The only thing we can know is that the outcome isn't going to be "good" for us. Or things could simply continue to deteriorate and we could continue to have mass murders and riots etc. Perhaps that would cause someone to come in and take over, basically conquering us by putting an end to the riots and mass murders and taking away even more of our rights in the process, I'm sure. Perhaps it would be the Antichrist himself that would do that. But even if he did, he wouldn't be interested in staying in north America, as we know he will rule from Babylon.
If we look at the countries in south America, most are full of civil strife, and their "presidents" or dictators have their hands full just trying to keep things under control. We're starting to become just like them, or you could say just like Rome when it fell - or rather when it was in the process of falling.
Sexual sins, such as the ones we're seeing now; (because now these sins aren't being hidden, but are instead being celebrated publicly; and more and more people are choosing to take part in them) are always the end of a country; the end of a civilization; just as they heralded the end of the Roman Empire. Romans 1:18-32 shows us that God has caused the people who have refused Him to become more and more perverted. âFurthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless.â (Romans 1:28â31) When people begin to celebrate sin and call good, evil, it's certain that the end is near. The main difference this time is that this is marking the end of world as we know it. For this will end in the rapture, tribulation and finally the Millennial Kingdom and then Eternity.

I did not mean by mentioning a 'civil war" to be stirring up trouble.....I am so sorry!!!
I should choose my words more carefully.
I was thinking more about how divided our country is right now.....no matter if you are conservative or liberal, Democrat or Republican, gay or straight, pro woman's 'rights' or pro life etc etc.
As an aside:
I did just read by the way that over 80 percent of the world if you are a Christian you are in grave danger
( up to and including death).
If I were not careful with my words ( which I am too often not), I might say:
I think that a civil war 'might', there is a chance it could happen in our country, some time in the future because of the great divide....
there seems to me to be people who think Christians are hateful, cruel, etc. because they 'think' that believing that marriage is between a man and a woman is hateful,
to think that is a real baby in the womb is hateful to a woman who does not want it or cannot take care of it etc. is also hateful,
if a Christian believes in Creation and not evolution they are not only 'hate filled'..... they are abjectly stupid to boot and so on.
I hope I did not upset you.....I sometimes let my emotions speak before writing. and God is still working on me about that.
But I do think it's 'possible'....I mean an actual civil war 'could' happen....not that it is going to.....
but some countries have had such a thing happen... more than once, over centuries.
What I meant is there are 'preppers' who have built underground bunkers, store food, and guns.....just in case
And then you have young folks like antifa who are dressing more and more like paramilitary and being more and more violent ( not just words but beating people and so on)
and those groups do sometimes clash...
you are right that is NOT a civil war
but it is sad and to me a bit disturbing
Then again, what should I expect from sinners...violence has always been a part of this fallen world
starting with Cain and Abel.
So forgive me from being an alarmist...like I said, it like how I talk some times, my mouth runs off before my brain....
And I agree, I will probably die in my bed surfing the net with the G5 pouring radiation into my head and body....that would not be fun either.
I do struggle with fear from time to time and
that's way I started a Bible study thread on fear a few days ago.

Who knows,
but it will be God who will defend Israel for the Ezekiel future war against Israel.
Oh and something Cindy wrote reminded me....almost every nation in history...when its morality sunk low enough......then it was destroyed one way or another.
And I think we are sinking.....

Barbra  , I was not feeling offended by what anyone said, I was just making like a flippant remark in general because of a video that a Brit guy Geo showed me on the chat forum and what he said and the video was on my mind, about how dangerous g5 is and people don't realize it.
I agree with what you said, civil war could happen, I see more discrimination against white people and we know what happened in the country of Africa. There are some states now that are going to let people have the right to walk around topless. I have heard that some of those under ground bunkers have been flooded with water. Maybe we won't be able to help Israel because we will have a president that does not support Israel. So many people have visions of war or bombing in our country. Yes our country is sinking and the Bible studies that we did showed us how history repeats itself if they won't follow the rules. Barbra I think you are an adorable person.

Presently we do support Israel. Stronger than ever before. And certainly way stronger than the last administration. Obama forced Benjamin Netanyahu to use the servant entrance, when he visited the white house, more than one time. Trump's administration, not only supports Israel, but also is the first country, and the first US President to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital city. And we are the first and as far as I know, at this moment, the ONLY country that has moved our embassy to Jerusalem, where it and all the others belong. Our military was horribly weakened by Obama. He would not provide ammunition, weapons, or vehicles to replenish what they'd used, but required them to keep fighting with whatever they could scrounge up, and hence putting our soldiers in harm's way. President Trump is strengthening our military; putting new weapons, ammo, vehicles and anything else that is needed to get the job done. He is also bringing some of the troops home. The 101st Airborne Division, from Kentucky, is coming home, this weekend.
Other countries have always wanted what we have. They call Americans spoiled. Yet, they flock here, to escape the tyranny in their own countries, just to come here and turn our country into what they left behind. They are not here to assimilate, but to destroy. And the far left, I agree have been turned over to their evil whims, like God promised. It is the ONLY thing that would explain why they are so off the wall, and totally nuts.  They moan and complain about President Trump, but have NO idea what they are complaining about! When I was growing up, they called us "children", "pre-teens", "teenagers", "young adults", in that order. Now they call them "millennials" and "Gen-X", and whatever else they've come up with, that I haven't heard yet. They all think that they are the super generation that's going to take over the nation and re-invent the wheel. And they are convinced that no matter what or how they were born, they can just choose their gender. And......like you said....it is celebrated.   All of this, and more is a HUGE part of what is going to send this country into the dark ages. Maybe that's why we are not mentioned. I just hope and pray that those of us, who love the Lord, are worthy enough to be favored in God's eyes.

Hello all, really enjoyed reading these last few posts. In the last year I've gotten to where I listen to Pastor J.D. Farag's Mid-East weekly updates, which are posted to Youtube [usually] every Sunday evening. (If you haven't listened before, you might find it encouraging. He looks at what's happened in the news the previous week and relates it to Bible prophecy.)
Another one I've 'discovered' this year is Pastor Andy Woods, out of Texas, who also posts sermons and teaching to YouTube. But you all probably know about him also. His teaching is thorough and excellent.
Nothing much new going on around here... just work and church and that's about it. We did take a little vacation last week. Hopped in the car and started driving North and crossed the border into Michigan, just to say we've been there! (Also to see Lake Erie.) We went about 1400 miles. All that interstate driving made me think of Cheryl, and her days as a trucker!
Well it's past bedtime so see you later!

Another one I've 'discovered' this year is Pastor Andy Woods, out of Texas, who also posts sermons and teaching to YouTube. But you all probably know about him also. His teaching is thorough and excellent. Nothing much new going on around here... just work and church and that's about it. We did take a little vacation last week. Hopped in the car and started driving North and crossed the border into Michigan, just to say we've been there! (Also to see Lake Erie.) We went about 1400 miles. All that interstate driving made me think of Cheryl, and her days as a trucker! Well it's past bedtime so see you later!

Yeah I'm still recuperating from it, but now the coffee helps LOL. It was really nice though. Afterward, on facebook, Jenn had posted some pictures from the cookout and our pastors wife posted that the kids had more fun at our house then any of the other cookouts the church had that year! That really surprised me. Not that the kids had fun, I could see they were enjoying themselves from the time their feet touched the grass lol. It just surprised me that the other homes didn't include the children in their plans for the cookout. It's probably because I have so many grandkids of all different ages, so have all kinds of toys and things for the kids to do. We even went out and bought something extra for the kids to do that day lol. Because to me, parents can't really enjoy themselves unless their kids are occupied and safe too.

Oh well. Such is life I guess. I really do wish the LORD would find a different way for me to deal with the pain though so I could quit taking this morphine. I hate taking it, and hate going to the doctor so I can take it. OK, sorry, rant over. 
, I was not feeling offended by what anyone said, I was just making like a flippant remark in general because of a video that a Brit guy Geo showed me on the chat forum and what he said and the video was on my mind, about how dangerous g5 is and people don't realize it. 
They moan and complain about President Trump, but have NO idea what they are complaining about! When I was growing up, they called us "children", "pre-teens", "teenagers", "young adults", in that order. Now they call them "millennials" and "Gen-X", and whatever else they've come up with, that I haven't heard yet. They all think that they are the super generation that's going to take over the nation and re-invent the wheel. And they are convinced that no matter what or how they were born, they can just choose their gender. And......like you said....it is celebrated. 
All of this, and more is a HUGE part of what is going to send this country into the dark ages. Maybe that's why we are not mentioned. I just hope and pray that those of us, who love the Lord, are worthy enough to be favored in God's eyes.
