just posted this in the how to thread, but thought I'd hare it here too in case no one looked there... There are some new things you can add to your post if you'd like to. Let me demonstrate and show you what they are and where you can find them. Click on the button just to the right of the smile face. It has what looks to me like "lesser than" and "greater then" symbols on the button, or maybe they're just arrows...who knows lol.
Here's the how to for each symbol; but when you click on them they each give you examples of what to do and a link to click on if you forget how to do it, that will give you these directions. Don't worry, if you click on the link to see the directions, it won't change the page you're on or anything you've done.
How do I find a Facebook post URL?
Use the following steps to find a Facebook post URL:

Had to get my blood drawn early this morning for tests so I couldn't have coffee first (Gasp!). Hubby had the same tests done. We're not sick, just recently went to a new doctor who wanted a bunch of tests done. Some friends here had told us about a small breakfast/lunch only diner so we had breakfast there afterward. The food was really good.
Next week will be hard: I begin Monday with a dentist appointment and finish Friday with flu shots. Good Grief!

I like to watch those car pursuits. They always happen in CA, and this one left the highway to drive on the desert land, that was different. I wonder why they keep running with a helicopter in the sky watching everything and usually that enables the officers to throw down those sticks to cause a tire to blow out, dangerous for innocent people who get hurt but it seems usually the driver of the stolen vehicle does not get hurt, strange.

Ah, the dreaded flu shot lol. (at least to some people). Yeah, I got mine two days ago at my doctor appointment. I hope you both like the new doctor. It sounds like he's on the ball and likes to make sure of things himself, which is good. But I hear you about not being able to have your coffee first thing in the morning. That's always gotten to me too. In fact, once time, years ago now, I had a fasting blood draw and wound up waiting in the waiting room for over an hour past my appointment time! I was livid! And I was supposed to be their first patient that day. I wasn't a happy camper and never went back to that doctor again.

Yes I have watch JD Farag
( wish I knew of him when we lived in Hawaii years and years ago ....but he may not have been there at that time).....still it would have been neat! :-)
In the last 3 weeks I have managed to only take about 3 ......1/2 Norco pain pills and maybe 1 morphine.
I cannot do as much, because ,I am in more pain, but I just got sooooo tired of endless fighting and being considered an addict basically.
Plus, they continue to mess up my prescriptions
every month they tell me:
"Oh this was for 10 years ago.......what???????
Yeah ( the pharm says) the doctor did not renew something or other
( then why do I have a new prescription in my hand)?
And on and on it goes......like not only am I an addict but that I am doing some kind of weird thing with the prescriptions
I have been seeing the writing on the wall with pain pills and the government
and decided to try to get ahead of the curve
( I wasn't to see my doc for 6 mts
and so
he wrote prescripts for 6 mts ,but one prescription for 2 mts at a time......
however, I am not sure what the pharm did with the last one.....because I don't have one for this mt or the next
And I am done fighting with them......it is just too much
So yeah I am in a lot more pain
and thus cannot do as much
On the other hand, I am relieved not to have this constant battle
maybe I will take up drinking ( that's a joke)
but Paul did tell Timothy to take a little for his stomach,
but not having a drop for 50 years, I do not think it would be good to start now!!!
It does help me to remember in a very very very small molecular size way, what Jesus did for me.....
I will never suffer like He did
His physical pain was off the charts ( so my small suffering is nothing compared to Lord Jesus.....but it helps me to remember what He did!!)
And then He also paid for millions of eternities in Hell......
Only God could do that!!!

 Hey everyone!Haven't been in for a few, but just got all caught up! Cindy, I didn't know those links were even there. I just thought that "lesser than/greater than" button was for quoting. Good to know.
I just, for the first time in my 60 years, got a flu shot.  I wouldn't have now, either, but because of my job, it makes sense, because I'm face to face with many people every day. I was going to get one, last year, but I was sick from October '18 to April '19, so they wouldn't give me a flu shot. I did get the pneumococcal pneumonia shot, last year, though. At least, I think that's what it was. It's what the doc said he was going to give me, but gave me 2 shots and not just one. I asked him about that, recently, when I was able to stop him from dashing out of the office, but now I can't remember what he told me. 
Lorrie, that's too funny about what you thought about, while traveling.
Was it THAT boring? I used to do 1400 miles in a day and 1/2. Sometimes, was nutty enough to run it straight through. One time, I drove from Dallas TX to Columbus OH without even stopping to use the facilities. Now, that was DUMB! Over 1100 miles. I'm so glad those days are behind me. I remember you posting something, on Facebook about being in Michigan! Wow! I'm actually waiting for the day, you're knocking on Cindy's door and saying "HOW'DEE, was in the neighborhood, and thought we'd drop in!" 
Speaking of which, there's a road trip  in my near future, and am coming to South Carolina. Lorrie, I haven't told anyone else, yet, about it, except you. So, I will be talking in the closed forum mostly, about the when's and stuff. It has been 20 years since I've taken an actual vacation. Ed couldn't travel, and I was content to do "stay-cations", but I think now is the time to hit the road before I, also, will no longer be able to travel. I've been to SC, many times, but mostly in a big truck. Only once, with my pick-em-up truck and my boat. My brother, Jeff, my nephew, JJ and I went out on Lake Joccasee, for a day. It was SO lovely! And then my brother held me captive for 2 extra days, and put my truck up on blocks to keep me from leaving, because my drive shaft was about to take a dump, and he would not let me leave, before he fixed it. THIS time, I'm renting a car, and told him he can't do that to me, again! So....nah, nah!
He registered his boat, and is fixing his "towing vehicle" so we can do some FISHING! WOO HOO! And Lorrie, I will get to see you again!  You are 2 hours south of Jeff, but we will work it out. Not leaving SC without seeing my friend! 
I'm still trying to figure on when and how I'm going to get up to New Hampshire. I've never been that far North. Just Massachusetts and Road Island, but no further than that. I didn't know everyone very well, when I had a truckload going up to Road Island, but it was a bad trip, and I probably wouldn't have been able to see you, then, anyway, Cindy. I had to navigate the mountains with a very bad steer tire, all the way back to Illinois, where they finally let me get it fixed. Like I said....bad trip.
Barbara, that's awful what they are making you go through, just to prove to them that you are not an addict. And now, they'll probably tell you that you've gone this long without them, and still won't let you have them. They just don't GET it! 
Margie, I feel for you, about not getting your morning coffee! I recently had to go through a colonoscopy. I knew what I had to do, to prepare, but wasn't thinking that strongly about it, until it happened! I didn't eat much Sunday night. Then Monday, had to take some REALLY nasty stuff, and wasn't allowed to have anything to eat, past midnight Sunday, but was allowed to have my coffee, and only clear liquids otherwise. But after midnight Monday night was not allowed to have ANYTHING to eat or drink, except that really nasty stuff they made me drink to prepare for the colonoscopy. Yes....TWO big nasty doses. THE worst stuff, I've tasted in my entire life! My niece came down, from Indiana, to help me and it was SUCH a wonderful visit. After they cut me loose, from the hospital, I told her to pick a restaurant.......ANY restaurant, because I'm STARVING! I didn't actually drink any coffee until Wednesday morning!  But, I do think I already told y'all.......in all of that, they found NO colon cancer . Just removed a couple of pollops, that were not cancer. If I had not done this, they said that it would have turned to cancer. So, I guess it was all worth it.
Man, I wanted to reply more, but with all my babbling, I think I should submit this and call it a day. lol My Blue Bloods show is on tonight, and even though I can watch it on ROKU, tomorrow, I don't want to wait.

I have a feeling it was. :-)
I grew up in West Mystic, Conn
so
'Road' Island was just a stone throw away
and since relatives lived in Westerly, Rhode Island
We would go there frequently.....but also to a lot of places in New England
My adopted dad was born in Bar Harbor Maine
and my mom in Canada so visits there
and thru lots of beautiful places in New England.
I still think of New England as very scenic especially in the Fall and Winter.

This was my 2nd colonoscopy. The first one was absolutely horrible, and I was awake. The only way I'd do it, this time, was sound asleep. Don't remember a thing! And that is the way I wanted it, or no go.

Sniff sniff. As long as I can read it, I'm good.  Just ask Cindy. I learned on the original FH board, how NOT to be a grammar police. She taught me that. And now I can actually deal with FB posts, lol. And when it gets so bad, I either don't reply at all, or if I know them well, I say "huh?" LOL!! I only do that to my nephew, though. He posts in a different language, I think.
I think that we can safely call it "Millennial Lingo"

I know what you mean Barbara, about the narcotics and the way people treat those of us who have to take them. It's certainly no fun, that's for sure. Before my lawyer switched me to the IWP pharmacy which is only for people who are on workers comp and who's lawyer recommends them. Basically. the lawyer guarantees the pharmacy that they'll be paid for the prescriptions. If for some reason they aren't, the lawyer takes the insurance company to court. They've been great though and send me my morphine in the mail, often sending it overnight when they think my doc took too long ordering it lol. In all the years I've had them now, my morphine's only been late a few times. Most recently last year when all the pharmacies ran out of morphine. Interestingly, as soon as they got some in though, they sent it to me basing it on my old prescription! That was awesome! The other times it was late was during the ice storm in 2008 when no one could drive on the roads; and one other time before that due to a big blizzard we had. And the poor driver actually did try to deliver it that day. I was scared to death that he'd been in an accident because I knew he was on the road to my house at 8pm and then never arrived. I was sure glad to see him the next day though!
So I'm lucky that I don't have to take any garbage from my pharmacy, but liberty mutual is constantly telling my doctor to cut my meds down and to run drug tests on me etc. They try everything they can to get me off of them because they don't want to have to pay for them. (they are very expensive!) Then of course, any time I have to see another doctor for any reason, they always freak out when they see that I'm on morphine and how much I take. They always act liike it's my fault too. Then they tell me they need a blood test for some reason which they usually make up, thinking I'm too dumb to realize that one of the things they're testing for is to see if I'm abusing my meds. 
Did you give up both the norco and the morphine or just the morphine?
Cheryl, I'm glad you got through that test ok!
Bruce has another appointment this afternoon with the orthopedic doctor so I've got to run so I can have everything done and be able to leave when he comes home to get me.

Yes and yes! Our house sold! For more then what we were asking! And yes we are buying an 1999 airstream! Cindy weâll be up to see you next fall! But first weâll be stopping to visit Lorie, and go fishing with Cheryl! Our Lord is an awesome God for sure! Iâve been dreaming of this for years! As soon as Ron and I changed direction with our plans, the Lords plans started falling into place!
One prayer request though for our Netty, she is pretty angry with us, for any reason it seems, but I think itâs mostly because we are leaving, she needs salvation and to grow up!
Iâm so excited I can hardly breath, this is my last week at work, already getting SS! We have to stay on the west coast till after December 3, Ron has a SSD hearing! Please pray that he gets it this time around! But after that we are OUT of California only to return to visit!
weâll be camping in Payson till thanksgiving then drive back and camp in California till after the hearing!

That movie was on TCM few months on Saturday morning I hear they release these Popper family movies pretty soon on DVD or Blue ray on Warner archives They own the rights via Columbia picture which now Sony picture which now HQ of old MGM building in Culver City CA
You know how I know I pass MGM old building every day on 101 freeway LOL!

My father-in-law, when he was in the Navy, he and a group of guys went to the Warner bros and were able to sit in the studio area where live shoots were being done with actor Boris Karloff, when Boris was not doing a scene he would go over to the men and talk with them, Boris was polite and thanked the men for the service they were doing for the country. Boris played the bad guy in the movie, but in person, he was a nice person to talk to. I don't know if he worked for MGM or Warner bros.

Its amazing how fast society is falling apart. Here in Australia we seem to have been slammed into fast forward top go down the gurgler. The whole "gender" nonsense has been put into fast forward to the point where kids ask their parents if being normal is "normal". The Devil is the author of confusion. God said he only created male and female, anything else is Devil loopy sauce.....I once got called a "farm boy" ( by an academic...yes it was a put down ) for saying there are only 2 genders.

But first weâll be stopping to visit Lorie, and go fishing with Cheryl! Our Lord is an awesome God for sure! Iâve been dreaming of this for years! As soon as Ron and I changed direction with our plans, the Lords plans started falling into place! Its amazing how fast society is falling apart. Here in Australia we seem to have been slammed into fast forward top go down the gurgler. The whole "gender" nonsense has been put into fast forward to the point where kids ask their parents if being normal is "normal". The Devil is the author of confusion. God said he only created male and female, anything else is Devil loopy sauce.....I once got called a "farm boy" ( by an academic...yes it was a put down ) for saying there are only 2 genders.
Australia has a Hellary/Dem cast off/"refugee" running our power system.......our power grid is rapidly falling apart, by design it appears. We have communists running other states that are also being allowed to run down like CA.....when it gets like CA you know we are in trouble...full of extreme liberals.....the woman who wrote smut filled gender confusion material for our schools appears to have identified herself as a Marxist/communist.
What appears top be a Communist take down of Australia from within is progressing rapidly.
We have born again Prime Minister but he seems a bit clueless about stuff, although he is trying to get Australia out of the communist UN, so thats good.
Sadly, I have a good christian friend who basically said the the god of isl*m and Christianity were the same.......I was absolutely horrified.....
Cindy I agree with your comment that if the anti christ appeared, the Church would now probably throw him a welcome home party, such is the spiritual lameness and blindness now. The only protection we have is God and the only truth is His Word.

Jesus warned us, but I'm pretty sure none of us really comprehended the severity of it, until now. Well, I know I didn't. And I didn't realize that we would be getting such a taste of what will happen after the Rapture of God's Church. And it's all snow-balling very fast. |

Yes and yes! Our house sold! For more then what we were asking! And yes we are buying an 1999 airstream! Cindy weâll be up to see you next fall! But first weâll be stopping to visit Lorie, and go fishing with Cheryl! Our Lord is an awesome God for sure! Iâve been dreaming of this for years! As soon as Ron and I changed direction with our plans, the Lords plans started falling into place! One prayer request though for our Netty, she is pretty angry with us, for any reason it seems, but I think itâs mostly because we are leaving, she needs salvation and to grow up! Iâm so excited I can hardly breath, this is my last week at work, already getting SS! We have to stay on the west coast till after December 3, Ron has a SSD hearing! Please pray that he gets it this time around! But after that we are OUT of California only to return to visit! weâll be camping in Payson till thanksgiving then drive back and camp in California till after the hearing!
Yes, I'll add that to my prayers for Netty.....actually I already have because you mentioned it a while ago. I've been praying for her salvation for years now and will continue to do so until we hear she's joined us. But I already know that it's not something to worry over because I know the Lord has got her and He won't let go! We just haven't seen the results in the physical world yet.

It was kind of ironic that after I wrote my book, I would get letters and phone calls and people would treat me like I was some kind of "star". Especially the ones that I met in person. I remember telling a couple of ladies to knock it off, that I wasn't any better or any different then they were! (they were really getting on my nerves!) Come to think of it, maybe that's why the actors and actresses that we got to know enjoyed our company so much - because for once they were being treated like regular people. I can't imagine having to go through even the little I experienced constantly and for years and years!
My father-in-law, when he was in the Navy, he and a group of guys went to the Warner bros and were able to sit in the studio area where live shoots were being done with actor Boris Karloff, when Boris was not doing a scene he would go over to the men and talk with them, Boris was polite and thanked the men for the service they were doing for the country. Boris played the bad guy in the movie, but in person, he was a nice person to talk to. I don't know if he worked for MGM or Warner bros. HI

Then, on top of the great falling away, as though that wasn't enough, we have the fact that sin has gone rampant all over the world. By this I mean all sin, but we see it especially in sexual sins which is another indication that the end is near. This is because the sins of homosexuality and transgender etc are things the Lord uses as judgements on those who refuse to accept His gift of salvation. (see Romans 1) So these particular sins are happening today as a judgement of God - again, preparing for the Antichrist. Romans 1:24-28 is especially relevant here. Finally, God tells us what else will happen because He's given them over to these sexual perversions, and here we see all the other sins that we're seeing in abundance today: âThey have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless.â (Romans 1:29â31) Another good list of what people are like today can be found in 2 Timothy 3:1â5.
In conclusion we can see that the falling away is God's judgement on the Church, and the sexual sins and others are His judgement on the unbelievers. Both of which are preparing the way for the Antichrist. That does not mean the Tribulation has begun - it hasn't. This is preparing for it to begin though. Just as all the so called "natural disasters" are also preparing for the antichrist and are like mini previews of what will happen during the Tribulation. They are therefore warning His children that play time is over and they need to get really serious about their faith, as well as judging those who don't believe. The problem is that in most judgements, including these, true believers also get hurt because of them. The difference between a believer and unbeliever being hurt by a judgment is that the judgment that harms a believer will be used for His good by the Lord to make him more like Christ; so it has a purpose.
While that's always the best thing that can happen to us - to be made more like Christ -, now it's especially important that we become more like Him. So now is the time to put our noses into His Word every spare moment we have, as well as dedicating a good amount of time to reading His Word every day. For it is through reading and applying His Word to our lives that God changes us, transforming us to be more like Christ, and renewing our minds so we can have the mind of Christ. There's not much time left before the rapture will occur, (it could be today!) so I'd suggest getting rid of anything in my life that interferes with me spending time with the Lord and in His Word.

Right now, my grandson, Elijah is the focus of a strong spiritual war that's going on all around his family, with him as the main focal point. Neighbors and their children are literally into the occult and all for the transgender and homosexuality stuff. In fact one girl has decided she's really a boy and is a transgender. This is causing Elijah a lot of problems because these kids are all his friends and he and Grace love them (as they should). They have and continue to talk to them about God, but that just makes them angry now. Where they used to pretend to accept it, and even went to church with Elijah and his family, now they're adamantly opposed and it's creating a lot of strife for my daughter's family and causing Elijah to be depressed. Elijah knows and understands why these things are wrong, and evil and he agrees. What he's having a problem with is not being "tolerant" like the world wants us to be. So please, if any of you get a chance and the Lord reminds you of it, please say a prayer to protect Elijah and his family from Satan's snare and the secular worldview. Please ask the Lord to protect Elijah and his family from the evil plans and desires of others; from unhealthy or dangerous situations and relationships, and from anyone or anything that would try to pull them into the darkness of depression and sin. Thank you all so much!

Watched the movie Penny Serenade, is a 1941 movie starring Irene Dunne, Cary Grant the movie is the story of a loving couple who must overcome adversity to keep their marriage and raise a child. Irene Dunne and Cary Grant acted in a few movies together. I never cared for Cary Grant as an actor but I did like his acting in this movie. In the 1960's the home that Irene Dunne once lived in was used in the making of the Leave it to Beaver series. I thought it was a good positive movie and enjoyed watching it.
Then I also watched a movie a DVD that I bought, The Courageous Heart of Irena Sendler, a true story, in 1941 Warsaw Poland she rescued Jewish children, in the end escaping the Germans and was able to marry the man she loved, she lived to be 97 years old. The DVD Secret Garden is on back order, will take about a month to get that.
I bought a new mouse pad, called a large coaster , woven silky yarn material with foam rubber backing, made in Turkey, with scripture on it John 3:16, nice, glad I bought it.

Hey everyone!
I wouldn't have now, either, but because of my job, it makes sense, because I'm face to face with many people every day. I was going to get one, last year, but I was sick from October '18 to April '19, so they wouldn't give me a flu shot. I did get the pneumococcal pneumonia shot, last year, though. At least, I think that's what it was. It's what the doc said he was going to give me, but gave me 2 shots and not just one. I asked him about that, recently, when I was able to stop him from dashing out of the office, but now I can't remember what he told me. 
in my near future, and am coming to South Carolina. Lorrie, I haven't told anyone else, yet, about it, except you. So, I will be talking in the closed forum mostly, about the when's and stuff. It has been 20 years since I've taken an actual vacation. Ed couldn't travel, and I was content to do "stay-cations", but I think now is the time to hit the road before I, also, will no longer be able to travel. I've been to SC, many times, but mostly in a big truck. Only once, with my pick-em-up truck and my boat. My brother, Jeff, my nephew, JJ and I went out on Lake Joccasee, for a day. It was SO lovely! And then my brother held me captive for 2 extra days, and put my truck up on blocks to keep me from leaving, because my drive shaft was about to take a dump, and he would not let me leave, before he fixed it. 
You are 2 hours south of Jeff, but we will work it out. Not leaving SC without seeing my friend!

Just ask Cindy. I learned on the original FH board, how NOT to be a grammar police. She taught me that. And now I can actually deal with FB posts, lol. And when it gets so bad, I either don't reply at all, or if I know them well, I say "huh?" LOL!! I only do that to my nephew, though. He posts in a different language, I think.
