We had a cold, rainy day here in Ft. Worth area.
My daughter and her youngest son came here for lunch. We had a lot of fun together. Gave her a bunch of boxes and wrapping paper, etc. that I didn't need. Her husband is working, but also looking for a full-time job. They still want to move to Alabama. She's working on her house here to get it ready to sell.

Hey everyone!
I'm sorry to always be so awol, all the time. I do pop in here now and again, to keep up with my Christian Family. I'm saying prayers for all the requests here, and even those who didn't ask, I've prayed for you too.
I also am posting to give a shout out for Teen Challenge!! Two Angels came and helped me today, with a major, major move that I needed help with, and one of them will be coming back tomorrow to help me a little more. I've been thanking the Lord all day long!! I could not have done this without them!!! Thank you, Teen Challenge, for all that you do!!

Are you moving into another house Cheryl? I'm so glad you had helpers from Teen Challenge!! I've missed conversing with you lately and want you to know you're in my thoughts & prayers.
Lulu, I had not read far enough "up" to see your prayer request before you posted the praise on Monday, but am so thankful that it worked out this time and Matt's X didn't show. You all have been though so much through the years.
Margie, glad you got to spent some time with your daughter and grandson, and I'm sure she appreciated the wrapping supplies! Hope they get their house sold quickly.
Cindy, saying a prayer now for all that you've got going on, & for strength to get it all done. Hope all the kids are doing well.
Barb, how are you feeling? Is your cold any better? I think it's so special that the three of you are being baptized together soon!
Anna, hope all is well in your life! What natural foods are you cooking and eating these days?
Thanks everyone for praying for my Daniel. He's still sick but able to go to classes. TODAY is a big day because he has a calculus test (tonight I think), so please keep up the prayers! He went in for a tutoring session and the tutor took one look at the work and said, "I don't know how to do that either."
Physics is the other subject in which he needs Divine intervention in the way of understanding.
Good news is he has signed up to work with children at his church there in Clemson. He said, "I miss being around kids," which I thought was cute since he's surrounded by college kids, but he means elementary school-age children.

I have had this cold for about a week....you said you and Bruce had yours for 2 weeks now. I pray my is gone by the 28th....that is when Leonard, I . and grandson will all get baptized....I would pray to be cold free by then. How wonderful that you'll all be baptized together! What a very special day! I hope you'll be over your cold by then too.Hi all, spent the weekend surrounded by horses :-) at a local 2 day Horse Trials, it was much fun. I prayed for the event to be safe, we had a few falls and only one minor break, praise God! Those air vests make a real noise when they go off!! Its been tough at times training to be an official and almist threw it in, but God keeps encouraging me on so I must be heading for someone to tell them about Jesus to get them saved, so please coukd you pray I have a very horsey Godly ministry.... :-) That sounds like an exciting job! I hope you enjoy it and I'm sure you're very good at it too! It's really neat all the different ways the Lord gives us to draw people to Him. Hello everyone, I'm popping in with another prayer request. Daniel just texted me:
"Please pray for me this week. This is my make it or break it week for two of my classes. And I'm sick."
I just wanted you to know that I saw your post and did pray. Hope he did well!I'm so glad the Lord protected you and your sister. I had more then enough of hurricanes when I lived in Florida. All these bad storms have hurt so many people this past year....Good to hear from you Lorrie! Glad your all safe! Sending up prayer.... for you also Steve! Our prayers were answered in a way, the X didn’t even show up! She’s just not right.......please continue to pray for our Jazzy though! That's great Lulu! I'll continue to pray for Jazzy and I also pray for the salvation of her mother. We had a cold, rainy day here in Ft. Worth area. My daughter and her youngest son came here for lunch. I hope all their plans work out, but then knowing the Lord, I'm sure they will. Thank you for letting us know Cindy, will be praying for you. Thanks hon! Hey everyone!

Thanks so much Lulu, I appreciate it. Satan has been hitting us hard and fast. First it was just me and when I didn't fold, he started on each of my children and is still at it. So far at least Jennifer and I are standing firm, but I really don't want to have to deal with anymore.

Oh Cindy I am so sorry you are being so fiercely attacked by the enemy!! I pray you will soon get some relief from all that is going on and that the Lord will strengthen you and fight for you and yours. But I can only imagine, how draining that is, especially when you have so many tough medically issues!!!

Yeah, my body isn't doing too well, but the Lord has my back and I know that ultimately He will work it all out for my good. That helps, but it is draining. I have a feeling though that every believer is going through trials now, and they probably seem like mine, one after another or sometimes on top of each other. It's all part of being in the last days....

Lord, please come! I know what you mean Cheryl. I imagine though, that just as we look back at the time when Jesus was here on the Earth and think how awesome it would be to live during that time, or to live during the time of the first Christians after He ascended, that many during the tribulation will look back and wish that they could have lived as members of the Church during our time. And possibly many born during the Millennium will look back and think it would have been awesome to be alive during these days. It makes me remember how hard life really was for the people during the time Jesus was here. They'd probably be astounded to think of anyone wanting to live then, except for the idea of being able to see Jesus of course. I hope you're having a happy day too Lulu!

Good evening, Well, it's been at least a year since I posted in here. I just wanted to say hello and just in case you all don't remember me, lol, I am Brother Mark. My wife and I are now living in Sanford FL. We are temporarily living with our Daughter and sometime next month we will be getting our own place. We are both doing better, health wise and Shirley and I have already found a home church. Shirley and I are surrounded by our Children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. I have just started reading and teaching our Great grandchildren about our Lord Jesus Christ. They are 4 and 9 years old. Well ... I did not mean to ramble on so much. I hope everyone has a great night.

I saw news tonight that said now there are 7,000 people from Central America walking to the U.S. I wonder how news like that can be reported the way it is, showing large numbers of people walking but there is no mention of how that many people on the move are getting water to drink, food to eat and where do they sleep. I would like to see that on the news and I have heard a comment that about the most a person could walk every day is ten miles. We have been going to Art's old home every day to get chicken eggs since Wayne is on vacation in Montana to see his daughter. Those chickens have the nicest chicken coop I have ever seen, those 5 chicken have an area to themselves the size of a large two car garage. Short on money this month I have been eating egg salad sandwiches. I hope I don't get a rash like I usually do if I eat eggs. I will have to stop now, no more for me. Some strange happening to me lately. But that I don't want to write out about.

we saw last nite that it's very well organized, there are trucks along the way hand out food and water. they are also getting rides on flat bed 18 wheeler's, mostly young men, very few woman and kids. we also saw a video of them getting pad to make this trip, the woman with kids....it's to make Trump look bad, or to try to hurt him and the Rep in the upcoming elections. I pray they are stopped at the boarder, and sent home...
come on RED WAVE!

Heard the caravan is now up to 10,000...
and Guatemala had found 100 ISIS soldiers embedded in ( I suspect there are more of them, but not caught), this INFO was on Fox News. Also that many are being paid by George Soros.
I am beginning to wonder if this is ( and all that has been and continues to go on) is part of why we are not mentioned durning the Tribulation?
This is beginning to look more like an invasion than very many true needy folks..... and correct me if I am wrong, but aren't these socialists countries? Why don't they 'fix' their own country so they don't 'have' to leave? I have read staggering monetary amounts that are spend on each illegal alien for school, housing, medical, food, clothing, etc. When we have tons of citizens homeless.....many being vets and woman with children....
Shouldn't we be taking care of them first? like the Biblical model.....
We do help those we do not know..... but... we first take care of family....
so if we have so many citizens suffering
( I have seen video of Calif. where a person seems to be driving for mile upon mile and its endless tents of the homeless... and in San Francisco the human waste on the street ( because of vast amount of our homeless) is horrendous!!! so I think we have to take care of that first!!! JMO

well, made it half way, and I'm taking the rest of the week off, Ron and I are headed to AZ to look around, spend a couple days and meet with the real estate guy that Ron's been working with out there via internet. House still hasn't sold here, but we just want to look around in real world instead of google earth...lol...get a feel for the area. then Sat. nite we will hang out with my nephew Scotty and his family. Come home Sunday morning....Road trip!
Barbara, sounds like we've been reading some of the same things, it is an invasion an organized invasion of our country. I pray Americans wake up to what's happen, before it's to late. I pray our Lord give President Trump the wisdom and courage to do what needs to be done.....with out blood shed, I pray for our country....

Sorry I couldn't make it here yesterday, and today has to be a quick one too as we have a bunch more doctor visits and tests to be done today for Bruce. There all just to make sure he's continuing to heal well, so nothing dire. Then next week we both start Physical Therapy again. LOL the family that does PT together stays together!
Hope you all have a great day!

My Sunday School class got together for lunch today. They gave me a goodbye card that everyone signed. We had a delicious home-made lunch: Waldorf salad, baked potato soup, beef stew and cornbread muffins. For dessert we had apricot pound cake and an oatmeal cake that was similar to German Chocolate cake. After eating "school cafeteria" type meals here at the retirement center, a made from scratch meal was a real treat.
We had another big rain storm yesterday, and it's cooler today. I just hope it doesn't rain next Thursday when we move.
Hugs to all.

That was really nice of them Margie, and it sounds like you had a wonderful time!
Well, we finally have conclusive evidence that Bruce did not have any kind of heart problems that caused his crash. The cardiologist agreed that he had been wide awake and functioning just before the crash and that there's nothing wrong with his heart! So that was a big relief for him and for us too!

So tomorrow we get baptized....
I am a bit nervous.....I don't ever do anything in front of a lot of people, so it will be pushing my limits that way....
but, of course, also excited and relieved to finally be getting baptized.

Hi all,
I know its been a long time. Stan and I are fine. No real news there.
Some of you may have seen on facebook Chelsea posting about "The Kiddo". Well it finally happened, she is now a mom to a ten year old boy and Stan and I are grandparents! Well Stan already was but his son and daughter live in South Carolina so we don't really get to see them and their kids. We do keep in touch through facebook though.
Anyway, there is a social media blackout on him so I can't say a whole lot about him. He's ten, in the fifth grade and made for Chelsea I think. He's really bonded with her and with Stan and I as well. He calls her mom and he has called Stan grandpa just this past weekend. He's referred to me as grandma to Chelsea but not in my presence. It'll come with time. He's really clingy with Chelsea and has a bit of separation anxiety with her. Nothing that interferes with going to school or extra curricular stuff but he wants to be with her as much as he can and I am competition for her attention so as much as he likes me and we have a bond, there's still a little distance too. With time and counseling it'll work out. He's a great kid, a little emotionally immature but thats to be expected with his background. He'll be starting counseling again. He came from quite a ways away so they need to find one that he feels comfortable with in our area. He's a reader and a bit of a nerd like me and Chelsea. He likes playing video games and reading comic books and has a fascination with Titanic. He also likes sports and is playing in the basketball team for his age group. He also likes to hunt and fish, which we do a lot of. If things go the way we are all hoping they will, Chelsea will be able to adopt him. So its been a busy couple of months getting him all settled in. Its funny but I wanted a boy and got two girls. Chelsea put on the paperwork she preferred a girl being a single mom but would also take a boy and that's exactly what she got! lol But the good Lord knows what He's doing and neither one of us would trade our kids for anything!
Had some time so I just wanted to check in and let you all know whats been going on. As always you are all in my prayers.
