We got the loan so now we won't lose the house. Bruce will take the money and go pay the tax collector after work today. Now all I have to do is pay the loan off as quickly as I can and pay the the current taxes starting with next years. Yes, I'm sleeping, but not at the right times of night. And I'm always exhausted. Coming back to edit. Cindy, I forgot to congratulate you on getting that loan. The Lord always provides. He sure does! Thank you! I wasn't going to really believe it until I had the money in my hand lol. But now that we do, I believe it! That's not good. I've been exhausted lately too but it doesn't matter how much sleep I get as it's caused by the RA and has decided to come back and annoy me some more. But I've been praying that you'll get a good nights sleep every night and will continue to do so. I sleep different hours of the day and night also, a few days ago I was exhausted for days, I slept and woke up exhausted. I hope over time that your exhaustion gets better Cheryl, that is not good to continually feel exhausted. I like what you said to Kel, yes society dictates changes in people, how interesting to see that. I always say to myself, Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. I have to laugh, maybe that is why I don't have any friends here that I can talk to and in this society the way it is now. Oh well I am not here much longer and in heaven I will have plenty of friends, and yes I am left with no one to talk to around here where I live, but then I would only be interested in Christians and I don't know of any of those rare creatures in my neighborhood. I live in a rough area, I think I should just keep my eyes closed. That's going to be so neat to have all those friends in heaven.... it's going to be so different than what we're used to because they won't just be "friends", they'll literally be our family and we'll love each other even more than we love our current earthly family members, and know each other better than we know our earthly friends and family members now. I honestly can't even really imagine it, but I know it's true and that we'll all be together like that for eternity. Amazing!Cheryl, that is exactly why i said what i did. (fool me once...) David said he better never see him, by accident because he will get a piece of his mind. esp the whole friend thing.. i was a good friend. i don't even know why i bother with people honestly.. sounds terrible i know. Cindy thats great.. God is good! Anna i hope you get neighbors? at least someone near by..? for emergency? see.. i would love to be neighbors or friends in person with all of you.. why do we live so far away.. and i do hope you all know, that even tho i don't chat as much anymore.. you are always on my heart.. Yes, it would be nice if we all lived close together, but at least we have the chance to get to know and love each other now instead of having to wait until we get to heaven. I love hearing from you and miss you when you don't come and visit...I was watching a nightly news channel from the country of India and there they are getting rice that is made in China and made of plastic. It is hard to tell the difference from real rice and plastic rice, it is fooling even those people that eat rice everyday, but after 4 days of eating the rice a family had gut aches. One of the bags of rice said on the outside of it written in English, premium rice and another bag of rice said on the outside of it, produce of India. It showed one man squeezing the rice into a ball and throwing it onto the floor and the rice ball bounced once. So be careful about buying rice. My Bible study teacher Michael, who is an intelligent man, he even has his employment in military intelligence, and has interest in science, said awhile back that there would be fewer bugs this year in the area where I live, and an increase in bugs in other areas. I wasn't listening that well to what he was saying, so I can't remember the reason why he said that, anyways I do notice less bugs in the area where I live and that is nice for me here. He is sometimes long-winded when he talks, sometimes talking about the same subject for an hour.
China is part of the Kings of the East, so they're busy preparing for the final war of the tribulation..... it really is getting close to the rapture!Cheryl, that is exactly why i said what i did. Kel, I've felt the same way, for most of my life.........why bother with people.... I've had yet another thing happen, where someone I made an arrangement with, and then turned out to be a no-call-no-show, and a liar. He didn't seem like the sort, who would not hold himself accountable, but that's how it turned out. I wrote him a private message, just this morning, and canceled our agreement.
I wish that I could have all of you, for neighbors, too.
The worst time that happened to me was when Bruce had the heart attack. My daughter took me to see him right away that day, and his brother, Charlie told me that he'd take me to the hospital to see him the next day. He was supposed to be at my house at noon that day. Well I waited and waited and at 12:30 called him to see if he was on his way, and he told me that no, he'd decided he needed to see a lawyer that day and wouldn't be able to take me after all! I was absolutely livid! He was seeing a lawyer about the land he and Bruce inherited from their dad, and there was no reason at all that couldn't have waited. What a jerk! It took me several more hours to find someone to take me. I never did like Bruce's brother, and still don't. He's nothing but a druggie and is the most selfish irresponsible person I've ever known. I've said for years, China is trying to kill everyone & their pets off. Yep, and they'll think they're going to succeed at last during the tribulation.

Cindy, the first thought I had, with that brother going to see a lawyer......ironically, right after Bruce's heart attack, was to insure that YOU would not get Bruce's inheritance, but that he would receive all of it. I'd be willing to lay money on that bet.

I'd be willing to lay money on that bet. It wouldn't surprise me as he's not saved, but I kind of doubt it since by then Bruce was out of danger and quite alive. Plus, it being such a small town, it would have gotten back to Bruce, especially since he knows all the lawyers here lol. I think it had more to do with trying to get the majority of the inheritance so that Bruce wouldn't get it - in other words, get some or all of what was given to Bruce. Cindy thats awesome about the loan! Oh and can the family do that? In WA if your spouse passes, anything goes to the surviving spouse? where are we biblically? like can i read it in the bible in a certain book? weird question i know Yes, any family member, or even someone who's not part of the family, can fight a will. It's hard to do, and often not likely they'll win, but it can be done.
Let's see, where are we... Well, I've written and posted a lot about it lately. Basically as you know, we're in the last days before the rapture and then the tribulation. Nothing HAS to happen before the rapture, but...most think that it's likely that either the Psalm 83 or Ezekiel 38-39 war will be happening at anytime now. It's been building up a lot lately, and we've been able to see how the Lord is causing it to happen simply by watching the news at night. Which I admit is rather exciting! What I would suggest is that before you read those chapters in your bible, that you read Daymond Duck's article that talks about it. He's one of the best bible teachers I've ever known, and biblically very sound. His most recent article about it is: Slowly Shaping Up.
In it, he explains who the main players are which will help you when you read Ezekiel 38-39. That way you'll understand who Gog, Magog, Gomer, Togarmah, etc are in our time. (Just so you know, all the bible teachers agree on who these people are today. It's been determined by what the bible says about them and where the bible says they're located etc.. He also gives some short headlines that show how God has been shaping this war up so that it could take place anytime now.
Other than Ezekiel 38-39 and Psalm 83, the main thing to study is the end times, rapture, tribulation etc. Unfortunately, (at least in our opinion) God didn't write about these things in the order in which they're supposed to happen. You can find information and prophecy about them everywhere from Genesis to Revelation. Literally! So really, the better we know the entire bible, the better understanding we'll have of why they'll happen and what will happen. God is an amazing author, that's for sure. He packed into the books of our bible what would have taken a normal human author thousands of books to do! Hope that helps you some. The only other thing I can think of that might help you would be to check out the end times forum and especially the articles that have their titles in red.
(I just bumped up the most important articles about this for you in the end times forum)

Cindy: I am so happy you got your loan! Kel: I am so sorry about your dog. We watch our daughter's cats when she is gone, they are indoor cats only and we follow all their needs to a tee. We do have one problem tho, a neighbor has a cat that also has a stomach issue and it is supposed to only eat a special cat food ONLY! our problem is we do feed 3 semi feral cats, and almost always, Smokie comes along at tries to eat some. He has done so a few times, and then, he does exactly what you said, he throws it up. This has been going on for over a year, at least. He does not 'seem' the worst for it...but still? I have told the owner of Smokie, but she still lets him outside because he absolutely will not adjust to being an indoor cat only. So its a real problem. We have not tried to capture the semi feral cats ( one will actually rub up against our legs before eating, and lets us pet him, the calico female will come right to the door and demand to be feed NOW! But I think there is a 2 week or a one month before they put animals down, and this is not a heavily populated place.

Hello to my dear Fresh-Hope sisters!! (And any brothers who might happen in!)
Cindy, that is great news about your loan! Cheryl, I hope you have a happy birthday today. I know this is not a joyful season of life for you right now, but nonetheless we can pray God showers you with His love and care on your special day.
We survived everything last week -- Daniel's high school graduation (even though he was miserable with a terrible sore throat), the party afterwards (although one of his friends caught his illness ), and all my family who came in from out of town. Turned out we had plenty of food for the party, and our little kitten Jellybean was the star of the show. It was a wonderful weekend.
Now, today, Sunday, is the big day of our trip to Phoenix. It's just past midnight here and we will be arriving about this time tomorrow (Eastern time). It's going to be a long day with church in the morning and I have to go because the children are singing the hymn "I will sing of my Redeemer" that we've been working on since Easter.
Anyway, we leave mid-afternoon and drive up to Charlotte and our flight leaves from there around 7:45 pm. It's about a four hour flight. If you would keep us in your prayers for safety & good health I'd surely appreciate it! (No Crohn's flares for John and no migraines for me... or anything else please!) Three friends from church are going along also.... and a whole bunch of other Southern Baptists!
After the convention ends we'll stay for a couple more days of sight-seeing and return next weekend, Lord willing.
Now it's time to try and....

Happy Birthday, Cheryl!
Leigh, hope your trip goes well.
Tomorrow is our daughter's birthday and we're taking her to lunch. I was cold in church all morning. Came home and changed into jeans and a turtleneck even though it's warm outside.
Hugs to all.

To those of you who saw my prayer request, thank you for praying for my son! I didn't want to leave it up on FB as I don't like putting my personal life out in public. So I just left it in the prayer request here on FH and deleted the one on FB once he was on the plane. The Lord got him on the plane and he's at the VA rehab now. I don't have much more information than that. Michelle's going to call me as she finds out more. This was done very quickly. They'd gotten him signed up and on a waiting list for the first bed available in the VA rehab, which Christopher assumed would be here. But the first bed available was in Florida, so that's where he was sent. My son is in bad shape. He's almost died several times because of his drinking and was close to being at that point this time too. His heart is wounded and Satan has blinded him and made him captive to alcohol and sin. I've been praying that the Lord would set him free and radically save him and will continue to do so. I've prayed the same for my older son who's been captive to drugs and blinded, and the Lord has indeed saved him and he's been clean for over 6 months now. He's still fighting and I pray the Lord will make his salvation radical, so that he stops living for himself and begins to live for Christ alone. I know the Lord will have His way and that He will bring both of my sons safely to Heaven in the long run. Thank you again for your prayers, they're greatly appreciated! Cindy: I am so happy you got your loan! Kel: I am so sorry about your dog. We watch our daughter's cats when she is gone, they are indoor cats only and we follow all their needs to a tee. That's too bad about the cat with the stomach condition, but at the same time, it's not your problem it's the neighbors fault. She either needs to keep the cat inside, regardless of what the cat thinks it wants, or just not worry about it. Animals are like children in that their owners have to do what's best for them, which isn't always what the animal thinks it wants. Thank you cindy I am not on as much so i didn't know where to look You're welcome hon. I hope we'll see more of you. Like I said, you've been greatly missed!Hello to my dear Fresh-Hope sisters!! Lorrie, if you ever get any busier you're going to meet yourself coming and going LOL. I'm glad it all went well for you though and I hope you're able to enjoy your trip!Happy Birthday, Cheryl! I've been so hot in the winter when it was well below 0, that I was literally sweating. So I went outside for 5 minutes to cool off - without a coat or sweater even! Same in the summer, only I'll get cold instead of hot! But then my body is just plain weird LOL
I hope your daughter has a great birthday today!

Cheryl: I am so sorry I missed wishing you a Happy Birthday....as much as it could be. Our internet was down for 1/2 of one day and 3/4 of another ( Leonard checked and saw traffic for internet on something was blocked....and that must have been the one for us).
Cindy thank you for your kind words about Smokie...sometimes I think that cat wants to be our cat! He pretty much lives in our yard, and if I am outside, he follows me around every where I go and then tries to come in with me when I go into the house.
He actually originally belonged to one of the tenant's mom ( she is in a nursing home now). But what happened to him was one of Dawne's mom's neighbors hated cats. So one day when he came into her yard, she picked him up and then dropped him and kicked him as far as she could. She damaged some part of his digestive system ( the mother took him to a vet and he had to have surgery).
I am astounded at how cruel some people can get. I suppose ( but I don't know) maybe the woman had demanded the the owner keep Smokie out of her yard and when it didn't happen ( maybe he pooped in her garden?) she took revenge? But really?!!!
I don't like it when tourists let their dogs run and do their business in our yard, and not clean up after them either. How hard is it to bring a baggie and pick it up? That's what I always did when I had my Airedale. But since they do not not pick up after their dogs ( some do of course)....I just go get a baggie and do the clean up....I would never try to hurt the dog...it is the owners that our responsible.....cats and dogs are a lot like children and they are not the ones responsible....so why hurt them?

Thank you for the birthday wishes. I'm glad to see that you made it to your Phoenix destination, safely. Wow....a 4 hour flight! That would be so unnerving to me, at the prospect. The longest I've ever flown was 1 hour each time, and that was scary in itself. And the first time, I'm sure I turned green. LOL
Have a happy time, there, and take lots of pictures!! I saw the view over Phoenix, that you posted on FB, this morning. With all that cactus, and brown ground, it just looks hot. Dry and hot. But, I'd still like to visit there. I've been through there, by train, when I was 11 years old, but that's not the same as visiting.
Happy Birthday, Cheryl! Leigh, hope your trip goes well. Tomorrow is our daughter's birthday and we're taking her to lunch. I was cold in church all morning. Came home and changed into jeans and a turtleneck even though it's warm outside. Hugs to all. Thank you, Margie, for the birthday wishes too.
Happy birthday to your Daughter, today!
I was always cold in church. I can understand why you changed, when you got home. I've been dressing quite warm, these days too. Don't know what that's about, really. lol
HUGS right back to you.
OH, I almost forgot! Thank you, SO MUCH, for the beautiful card you sent to me! Wow, I'm sorry that I didn't say something sooner!
And Lorrie! You also sent me a card, and I don't remember if I thanked you! I know I didn't mention it here, so thank you also.

Barbara, no big deal about missing my birthday. There was one thing that I did want for my birthday, and prayed for it, but it will happen, but just a little later. In the Lord's timing, not mine. I thought, one day..........wouldn't be so cool if my sister was here for my birthday. We started speaking, again, on her birthday, this year, and it would have been so neat to be WITH her during mine. But, we will have that, but it'll just have to be when she can come. And we are going to go fishing!!
That's hideous what that woman did to that cat! In the past, I have not been kind to a certain cat, but that particular cat attacked me and my little sister, on separate occasions and I just flat out, told both my parents, that if that cat was not gone, by the time I got off the school bus, tomorrow, then I was going to take Dad's 12 gauge and take care of it, myself. That cat attacked me, and yes I kicked him. But later he attacked my baby sister, and almost put her eye out. That was the last straw. That cat was deranged. It didn't even meow...it barked! The next day, my mother told me that Dad took care of it, but not to say anything in front of the children. So, I never did.
I don't have a problem with the cats, coming into my yard now, though. They don't bother me, and I don't bother them. They hunt. It's the DOGS I have a problem with, and I'm not ashamed of bopping them in the butt with my BB gun. They remember the first time and don't return. It's the dogs that are adjacent to my back yard neighbor that bug me the most, now. They sneak onto my property to do their dirty, and by the time I get out there, they've scattered. Those are the same dogs that tried to attack me, and later tried to attack Ed on our own property. One of those dogs attacked another dog, and it had to be put down, because the injuries were just too severe. Those kinds of humans, who have dogs who hurt people and other dogs, and who won't take responsibility for it, need to be put down. And no, I won't take that back. LOL
I have lots of bunnies running around. I think there are more rabbits out there, than there are squirrels. So, when I trim my garden, I leave the greens on the ground for them. They don't come and get it though, so I guess it would have to be ON the plant, before they'll take it, but they'd have to be awfully talented to get to my plants as they are too high for even the Jack Rabbits to reach. Thankfully. But, they find plenty on the ground, obviously. When the birds toss the seeds onto the ground the squirrels and rabbits have a field day. And the seed that doesn't get eaten, starts growing little corn stalks, the rabbits love that.

Our daughter came to our place because she was already in the area. She picked a Mexican restaurant, so we ate there. I had some really good brisket tacos.
I often get cold in church and also in our dining room. I think the air conditioning is going full blast when there is a big crowd of people. Hope everyone has a good week.

Cheryl: I can understand how you felt about the deranged cat....cats have very different personalities, as do dogs....most are very sweet animals, but there are in fact, mean ones, ( most of the time due to human abuse, but not always).
some humans breed dogs, on purpose, mating the most agressive dogs to each other over and over, to be mean ( to guard their drug fields etc. they are man aggressive and that is sad).
But Smokie, is a very very sweet animal. I am pretty sure it was not because of his temperament, but the fact he was in the neighbor's yard.
However, if Smokie's owner didn't deal with it, there are many other ways of deterring a cat, just one example, is spraying it with water from the hose every time it set foot on her yard....most cats hate that. A lot would rather not continue to get soaked and would go elsewhere.

LOL, Barbara, you just reminded me of a cat story that I don't think I've told y'all yet. I told Ruthanne, over the phone, just the other day, though and she got a laugh out of it, so I'll share it with y'all too.
Years ago, I had a friend who is an avid animal lover. At the time, she had 17 cats, 2 dogs, a cockatiel, and gerbils. I told her she didn't have a home, she had a ZOO. Anyway, back then, I didn't know all of you, and had not learned to love your animals, through you. Therefore, I still had a reservation where cats are concerned.
Anyway, we were sitting in her kitchen, visiting, when one of her cats jumped up onto the sink. My friend, picked up a squirt gun and shot it across the room and nailed the cat, and it jumped down. I was amazed. Reaching for the gun, I asked, "Cool! Can I do that?" She snatched it up and said, "NO! You'll drown him!"
Another time, I was visiting her. I had just come my job, and was still in my work clothes. A dress and nylons. She was a beautician, so I was having her cut my hair for me. One of her cats (might have been the same one, lol.) seemed to be very curious about me. He sat on the other kitchen chair, staring me down, the whole time. Then he jumped up onto the table, then suddenly dove right into my lap, and slid the whole length of my legs, to the floor, splitting my nylons all the way down, and my SKIN! Wow, that was painful. Thankfully, my friend moved the scissors, away from my hair about that second and I didn't get scalped to boot!
I've never really had much good things happen to me, regarding cats. I love to read about your fur kids, and see pictures, but to have one as a pet, I'll pass. For most of my youth, I sported a scar on my face, from the corner of my eye, down to my jawline, from a cat.........so I do have a reason. LOL Thankfully, the Lord allowed the scar to fade, over the years.

Where I live people have cats to catch mice, I am always glad when a neighbors cat come over to my place to look for mice and goes home. Owls sometimes get mice but they are messy, they leave a gross mess to look at and I have to wait for the mess to fall off of the roof. People have dogs because of thieves, an early warning system, but now days with all the modern cameras I guess dogs are not that needed. I was just thinking this morning what a hazard dogs are as far as tripping over them. I was able to talk to the woman that rides the black horse around here sometimes. I saw her at the gas station and we talked about the mountain fires that we have been having around here and how we hope we don't have to breath much smoke. I did not recognize her, she had a nice hair cut, blonde hair and a more than average expensive dress on, and I thought she had brown hair and was a little overweight, but not so. So anyways I will easily be able to talk to her when ever I see her. She has 4 old donkeys that she inherited when she got the home, they will let her get close to them, but that is all, she can't put a bridle on them.

Cheryl, that was a funny story!!! My adopted mom was like you, she was not a cat lover!!! but don't you know, that whenever she would go to her friends homes to play bridge, her lady's friend cat would always pester her.
Wow tho that is terrible about your scar from a cat! I actually love all animals and the only bad thing that happened to me, was when I went to visit a friend about 25 years ago their crazy mad Dachshund bite me as I stood talking to her at the door. It wasn't just me the dog bite, it had bitten both her and her husband ( and maybe other folks).
I had to go get stitches, but we did not even ask them to pay for the hospital bill......but I was prepared every time I visited from then on, not to get bitten ( when the dog bite me, I was standing with my hands at my side....so I never did that again at her home.
But I love dogs, they really should prob have put that dog down.
I just wish I had had my Airedale with me that day...that would have never happened.
My Airedale, in 13 years never ever showed any aggression to man or beast.....except one time
even when a pit bull attacked Shama my Airedale she did not retaliate at all.
But once we were at a dog park, and all the owners were sitting on top of the tables with their little dogs, and those with bigger dogs like mine were sitting on the seats.
I had Shama on a sit-stay command until we found out what was going on?
Then a very big dog came running up to us....and went for Shama's neck.....foolishly without thinking, I reach for Shama's collar to pull her out of harms way ( knowing she would not fight, because she knew I wouldn't allow it).....but this was more serious than even when the pit bull attacked her because this dog was going for her throat.
However, an Airedale has the potential to be a formidable opponent if every pushed......
Well the attacking dog saw my hand and changed course, from Shama's throat to my hand.....no one ever even sas Shama move.....she was that fast!
the dog could attack her and she would not fight ever, but not her alpha!!! She would defend me to the death if ever necessary and think nothing of it.
she bite that dog on its mouth...the mouth that was going to bite my hand!
The owner came running up and saw blood and said: "Oh did my dog bite your dog?" I said: " No, my dog bite yours"
She then took her dog home, and everyone in the park thank us and cheered for Shama.....the dog had terrorized every dog in the park and no one dared move....

hanging out reading and having my coffee...Ron's still sleeping. thanks goodness for Wednesdays! update... Ron is still out of work. He be thinking hes not fit enough to return. His ankle is real bad. He is going to have surgery on it soon. He has filed for disability and so has his doctor for him. so now we are waiting to see if the state will pay, cause Ron has not insurance.
But we are on the same page finely about moving out of California. this state is crazy and getting crazier... We are looking at AZ. a little place called Payson.
So we are focusing on getting Ron's surgery, getting the house in a little better shape, painting and all that, then selling and getting the heck out of California. Of course it's all in the Lords hands, but us being on the same page about it all is a good sign for sure.
I'm still working. long hours some weeks and others not. this past week has been a normal work week.
Cindy, glad that your prayers were answered about getting your loan! and thinking of your son daily.
sending my love to you all...(still no smilie pad )

I knew I was out of it yesterday, but apparently it was worse than I realized as I posted on the wrong chat thread! Thankfully Cheryl saw it and let me know, so I just deleted the post.

How awful! I hate that too. It sure shows what our sin nature is like doesn't it? i used to think people like that were so horrible (and I still think what they do is horrible!) but the Lord's pointed out to me that we all have the same sin nature and are all capable of the most horrible things imaginable. So now whenever I hear about horrible stuff like this, I try to use it to realize just what the Lord has saved me from, and just how awful my sin nature really is, and therefore how awful I really am without the Lord. Sort popped out, probably because it's what I've been studying lately. I'm so glad that you and the mother are taking good care of that cat though.
You're welcome hon. I hope we'll see more of you. Like I said, you've been greatly missed!Lorrie, if you ever get any busier you're going to meet yourself coming and going LOL. I'm glad it all went well for you though and I hope you're able to enjoy your trip!I hope you're not coming down with something Margie! That happens to me frequently.
Have a good trip Lorrie!
I hope everyone has a great day in the Lord today!
Cindy, I'm so sorry, but I didn't see your prayer request. Not here, nor on FB. I'm praying for your dear son, right NOW though! Cheryl: I am so sorry I missed wishing you a Happy Birthday....as much as it could be. Our internet was down for 1/2 of one day and 3/4 of another ( Leonard checked and saw traffic for internet on something was blocked....and that must have been the one for us).

Thank you so much for your prayers for Christopher Cheryl. He needs all the prayers he can get, that's for sure! Don't feel badly about not seeing it on FB. It was only on there for a half hour, which was how long Michelle had to get him on the plane before it took off. The great thing about God is that He's not bound by time like we are. Therefore even if we say a prayer for something and later find out that the event had already happened by the time we prayed, it doesn't matter. God can take our prayer and use it before we even prayed it! Think about that long enough and I'll get dizzy LOL. I always think that's so cool though. I've gotta tell you something I did that's related to both time and prayer once. One day when I was still working, before I got hurt, I was running late for work. It was really important to be there on time - not for my sake or money, but because I was caring for a man who was blind, mute and had numerous other issues. So having a routine was very important for him. Timing was everything and I needed to be there by 7am. Anyway, when I got to the town where I worked, I glanced at the clock and saw that I'd be at least 5 minutes late as it was only about a minute before 7 then. So I prayed and asked the Lord if He could please somehow get me there on time. I knew I couldn't speed, as that would be a sin since we're told to obey the laws of our country, but I knew that even if I had gone as fast as I could, I still wouldn't make it in time. The most I'd be able to do speeding would only shave a minute or two off. Anyway, I simply didn't look at the clock again until I pulled into the house where I worked. When I looked, the time was still the same! (or within 30 seconds of the same time as the clock said it was about a minute before 7! I couldn't believe it and thought my cars clock wasn't working, so checked my watch, but it also said 6:59! So I ran into the house and got started, thanking God the whole time. When I left work that day, I again checked my clock, suspecting it might still say 6:59 lol. But it didn't. It was the correct time and said 3:15 pm, just like my watch did. Then I knew for sure that the Lord had somehow suspended time for me! Gave me goosebumps! (still does lol) Our daughter came to our place because she was already in the area. She picked a Mexican restaurant, so we ate there. I had some really good brisket tacos. I often get cold in church and also in our dining room. I think the air conditioning is going full blast when there is a big crowd of people. Hope everyone has a good week. yummy! I love Mexican food! I grew up on it and so did my kids. I hope she enjoyed her dinner and her day. Cheryl: I can understand how you felt about the deranged cat....cats have very different personalities, as do dogs....most are very sweet animals, but there are in fact, mean ones, ( most of the time due to human abuse, but not always).

A lot would rather not continue to get soaked and would go elsewhere. True. your neighbor reminds me of the neighbor who shot my oldest sons puppy. The puppy wasn't in his yard, it was in the woods and the man happened to see it and shot it because he hates dogs. Some people. Just want to let you all know we arrived safely but I can't type more because I am working on an iPad. Glad to hear it Lorrie. Have a good time! It's a shame when animals hurt people, just as it is when people hurt animals. Yet another reason I can't wait for Heaven...there the animals will never hurt another human and no human will hurt them, but we'll all live together in peace. That's going to be so awesome!
Speaking of how people treat animals...when we had Mark's memorial, I knew that some of the guys that were there used to shoot squirrels just for fun. I thought it was interesting because while they were at our house, our squirrels, chip munks, and birds all went about their usual routine of pigging out at the bird feeders and on the ground under it. I swear that they know when we're watching them because they often show off for us, lol. And that's exactly what they were doing! The guys that shot squirrels at their own homes, discovered how much fun it is to watch them! From what they said, i don't think they'll be shooting them anymore.
I'm glad you were able to talk to the woman. Did you find out her name? At least now you'll have someone to talk to sometimes!
What a great story Barbara! That's so neat!I think I saw that once on BBC world news like 10 years ago about China hey Cindy listen when Diginet facebook page talk about their new schedule usually some of FB Poster would post it way before they find out I kinda knew BattleStar Glatcia with ORIGINAL cast with Ben Cartwright like 6 months ago on Rerun also ALF on ME TV Br uce liked that one too Kelly. hanging out reading and having my coffee...Ron's still sleeping. thanks goodness for Wednesdays!
Cindy, glad that your prayers were answered about getting your loan! and thinking of your son daily.
sending my love to you all...(still no smilie pad ) That's great that you've made the decision to move. I'm not sure if you realize that he will have to apply for disability again when you go to another state. I didn't realize that till it happened to Bruce's cousin. It seems so silly and such a waste of time and money too. But I guess you have to go through the whole rigamarole again when you move to another state. You might want to check that out for yourself though. Maybe it was only true of NH and Florida, I honestly have no idea. But I'll be praying he gets his disability for sure!

Lulu, you have to get your smilie pad back somehow, it's you and I miss it.
I left home this morning at 5:30 to get my grocery shopping done early, that works out better, I am not so tired since it was not hot outside yet and less people to move around makes the trip faster. I bought a pretty barrette for my hair, it is gold color and has different color stones in it, reminds me of something heavenly.
I have a neighbor that moved from CA, LA area and they are so glad to be living in AZ now. I don't know how people afford the cost of living in CA.

Maybe you could call your internet provider and see if they could tell you why that is happening. I am not having any problems with my old windows 7 laptop computer. Ron has a windows 10 computer and he often has to fight with the computer to be able to get on-line, he has to turn the computer off once and then back on and then it works for him. Once in a while there is no internet connection for about 1 hour, but not all week long.

That's nice that you guys are able to talk when you're at work. I'm not familiar with iPads so don't know what all they can do. I would assume that they're kind of like a kindle only better and able to do more. So I'd guess you could go anyplace online with them, and pretty much do much of what can be done on a computer.... I'm always hoping that today will be the day the Lord comes for us!Lulu, you have to get your smilie pad back somehow, it's you and I miss it.

It's been really hot here this whole week...up in the 90's which is unusual for us. But last night it when down to 40 degrees so we were all freezing lol. It's supposed to be a little cooler today...I think in the 80's. I'm already ready for winter LOLFor over a week now our internet has been very erratic....it's almost 3:00 in the afternoon, and this is the first time today I have been able to be on the net! Ours has been crazy this past week too, but hasn't gone out or prevented us from going on line. Just made things real slow at times. I hope yours gets better for you soon. We have a windows 7 laptop and it's always super slow getting on line or changing pages etc. Sometimes it's so slow the connection will time out and it won't be able to connect at all. But my XP computer doesn't have problems connecting and neither does my kindle. Weird...

Good Morning everyone! I pray all is having a blessed day in the Lord. My daughter in North Carolina had shoulder surgery this morning and came thru beautifully. I give God the Praise for this! Lulu, I didn't know Ron had hurt his ankle. I will be praying for him. I agree with you about the Lord coming back soon after His Church! I have been feeling this way for a long time. And, after yesterday's events in Washington D.C. and in California, I am praying harder than ever! Some of you were talking about cats earlier. A few years ago we had a cat from next door adopt us. The couple couldn't have children so they adopted a little girl. She loved this cat! She would catch him and carry him around. I guess he got tired of it because when he started coming to our house, we would let him in and he would find him a place to sleep and he would sleep the day away. I told my neighbor and she laughed and said the cat was staying away from her daughter. Anyway, to make a long story short, this family built them a new house and moved. But they left the cat with us since he was staying at our house most of the time anyway. He is a well behaved cat. When our neighbor got him as a kitten, she somehow trained him to stay off the furniture, the kitchen cabinets, and even the table. She said she used a spray bottle of water to train him. He is a natural bob-tail and a beautiful cat. Our neighbor named him "Bob".

Nice to read loving stories about animals. I should use a spray bottle to teach my dog not to pee on the car tires.

Anna we were not off line for every hour for a whole week, but rather anywhere for 3 -8 hours each day for over a week.
But here is a strange thing. Even when the net is down Leonard can pull up all the various providers to see what their status is.
And several times one called: FBI has a statement saying FBI is monitoring station 2.
We have no idea what that means.
Is it 'really' the real FBI?
Or someone jokingly calling their provider FBI
or
is it a hacker using that name?
Our landlord has called the provider and it's a little better but still going down, from time to time, but for shorter amounts of time.

That is strange Barbra and that no one can give you an answer to your question. I have not heard of anyone else having a problem like that. A person's service provider can monitor their customers. If it continues why should you have to pay full price for service you are not getting. We do pay for a malware remover, hit man pro, for our computers.
