I have this prayer request in our FB private prayer request group, but I wanted to put it here also, and ask the rest of you to please pray for a dear friend of mine and his family.
He is battling bone cancer. He has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Osteosarcoma.
Please ask your Churches and private prayer groups to include this dear man in your prayers, for complete healing, that only our Lord can do.
The Lord knows his name. And he appreciates all the prayers that everyone has been saying for him.
His young wife is beside herself with worry, and they have a 9 year old daughter, at home.
He has undergone one chemo treatment, so far, and hasn't reacted well with it. He is very weak and tired. He is presently in the hospital, and will be for 3 to 5 days, as he has dehydrated badly and they think he also has developed an infection, so they are keeping him over, for tests.

Thank you, everyone, for your prayers. He is still very tired. They let him come home from the hospital, and he seems to be doing alright, but not great, if that makes any sense. Thank you for your continued prayers.

Thank you Barbara and Leonard. You're not late. He still needs prayer.
They left yesterday to go back to Vanderbilt Hospital for more chemo.
But, his white cell count is still too low to receive treatment. (I think I said that right)
So, they are returning today, and will go back next week.

Thank you all for your continued prayers.  He's got so many angels around him. His son posted a video, from where he is stationed in the Air Force, shaving his head in support of his Dad. And 10 or more guys, at his workplace have shaved their heads in support. Oh, and one woman did too. |

Thank you ALL, for the continued prayers, for my friend. They left last Saturday for Jacksonville, Florida, to the 2nd best cancer doctor in the nation, at a Mayo Clinic, there. They did the scans yesterday, and today they told them that the tumors are SHRINKING! The doctor said that Vanderbilt in Nashville is doing all that he would be doing, so to continue with the current course of treatment. So, they are heading back home tomorrow, with hope and gratefulness for all the prayers and support. They know where all this wonderful news is coming from, and if they were not believers, before all of this, they are NOW. Thank you ALL for your continued prayers. That this man will live and be able to raise his young daughter, by the Good Grace of our Lord!!

This was posted by his wife today: We received disappointing news. While the tumors in the lungs were shrinking. The main tumor in his pelvis is growing. So we need more prayers then ever. Next couple of weeks and decisions are the hardest just please pray for my husband and our family. God Bless. Your continued prayers are so much appreciated. |

Thank you, for your continued prayers. He is home from his latest round of treatment. He is slowly getting his color back. Those treatments take so much out of him. I don't know when they go in for new scans, but will update as soon as I know.
I'm praying every day for the Lord to lay His almighty hand on this man, and take away the poison that threatens him.
