I have this prayer request in our FB private prayer request group, but I wanted to put it here also, and ask the rest of you to please pray for a dear friend of mine and his family.
He is battling bone cancer. He has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Osteosarcoma.
Please ask your Churches and private prayer groups to include this dear man in your prayers, for complete healing, that only our Lord can do.
The Lord knows his name. And he appreciates all the prayers that everyone has been saying for him.
His young wife is beside herself with worry, and they have a 9 year old daughter, at home.
He has undergone one chemo treatment, so far, and hasn't reacted well with it. He is very weak and tired. He is presently in the hospital, and will be for 3 to 5 days, as he has dehydrated badly and they think he also has developed an infection, so they are keeping him over, for tests.

Well, he's back in Nashville for another round of Chemo. They left this morning.
He got through day 1 of 3. He is extremely tired.

Well, he's back in Nashville for another round of Chemo. They left this morning.
He got through day 1 of 3. He is extremely tired.

They got home on Wednesday evening. He's been pretty much resting, since. I haven't been able to speak to them yet.

Well, my friend is back in Nashville for scans, to see if the chemo is shrinking the tumors.
I think they take about a week, for the results to come back.
A week or so, ago, he was transported by ambulance, from our local hospital, to Nashville, due to an infection, from a small cut on his hand. He is very fragile, right now, due to the chemo and even a small scratch can threaten him.
Thank you, for you continued prayers, for this dear man, and his family.

Thank you, everyone, for your continued prayers.
My friend was back in the ER on the 22nd due a high temperature, meaning infection, and was transferred to the ICU.
They had a real hard time, trying to get his fever down. They finally got it under control by the evening of the 24th and he was removed from ICU, and put in a room. His blood platelets are out of whack and he is still in the hospital, at Lourdes in Paducah. He is scheduled to have another chemo September 4-5, and I pray he doesn't have any more of them. I know that this is what is causing his quality of life to diminish and making him more sick than he otherwise would be. Where do you draw the line? He's trying so hard to live, to be there for his daughter and his wife, and I know he just wants it all to stop and be well.
I, for one, will not do this. If I ever get diagnosed with cancer, then I will just ask for the pain pills and stay home and wait on the Lord. This chemo/radiation cannot be something from God. It just can't be.

Saying prayer for this man and his family. If I were him I would try taking colloidal silver and if that didn't work I would not take the chemo. My family members took chemo and it didn't work well for them.

Thank you, for your continued prayers. My friend has gone through his 6th Chemo treatment.
The other day, he told me that they have downgraded his prognosis. Instead of the treatment being life saving........it's life prolonging.
He is currently in the local hospital, as he is with every treatment. He develops a high fever and infection, then his platelets drop and that's where he's at, at the moment. They had hoped to come home, this weekend, but his platelets went up, then dropped again. But, he is in good spirits, and got out of bed, today, and spent time with his daughter, who is taking this very hard.
