Just heard from our son again, and now Liam will be in hospital for a month......
sort of sad, but he said they get to hold him for hours and I am thinking, best he is in hospital already in case of any complication, rather than rush him home and have something go wrong and have to stress fighting traffic to drive him to hospital.
I did mention Leonard toe is now infected in the bone right? Sooooo will update on that as we know more also he is having to take meds cause his uric acid is elevated.

I just am letting you all know or little grandson Liam is probably having surgery for an intestinal bowel obstruction today. It is apparently very common in little ones ( If not THE most common surgery having to be performed on new borns). Still poor little one. Plus our daughter-in-law had a c-section, so they will have to release her from the hospital they are at, and then Liam will be transferred to a different hospital ( I am thinking one that specializes in infants care and surgery). I will post back here and in the prayer section when I hear back, but it may not be until quite a bit later. I've been Praying all goes well!My heartfelt prayers are with your grandbaby, Liam. I'm so glad they diagnosed him, right away. My nephew wasn't diagnosed, right away, because of a doctor's incompetence. The child was catatonic, by the time he was diagnosed, but he pulled through the surgery, with flying colors. He had a thin membrane that had grown over and was blocking his stomach from his intestine, and everything he consumed, came right back up. He was just staring and didn't move much, and he wasn't growing. I had him in my arms, one of the times he projectile vomited all over my desk, me and my chair, at work. My niece was in talking business with my boss, at the time. I walked in there, and interrupted them, and told her to get him to the emergency room immediately and don't take no for an answer, this time. I told her what just happened and to look at this baby. He's barely breathing! She took him in, in a panic and got him seen to, and bypassed his pediatrician and refused to allow her to tend to him. This doctor has since lost her license to practice, because apparently this was not the first malpractice issue.
I only told you all of that, because my nephew was close to death, and he still got through the surgery and no repercussions. I know you are worried, but the Lord is always in control!!
I told Barbara in a PM that my oldest son was also diagnosed late, when he was 4 weeks old. It's a scary thing, and so much better when they catch it right away. So apparently this is common and yes, I am so thankful the Lord saw fit to have more competent doctors!!!
I just heard back from my son and this is what he said:
"Liam had the surgery this morning, and it was the best case scenario of all the possible issues! He had an Artesia of the small intestine, they were able to cut out parts and put the good ends together. This should promote development and he should have a normal life! We're so relieved and happy, and should be able to bring him home in 10 days or so if all goes well :)"
but yikes Little Liam will have to be in hospital 10 days.....or.....more! So I am so grateful the Lord heard all your prayers and provided Liam with a good surgeon! But now he needs to recover.
That was such a sad story Cheryl!!! poor little baby!!
Oh and while I am at it, Leonard's toe was bothering him......again! So he went up this morning...they took x-rays....again At first the person looking said....again, it looked ok..... But................ He just got a call from the hospital....not so fast the infection has gone into the bone!!! He has to go into Portland to see a specialist....soon!!!!!
So I will again post in prayer section and ask for prayers for hubby here also. Thank you all in advance
Seems like it never rains but it pours any more. sigh!
And oh yes, I haven't heard back from my son, ( I asked about how Jessica is doing) remember, our daughter in law had little Liam by c-section... so of course... she is recovering too!!! I'll continue to pray for Liam and of course for Leonard as well!I'm so happy to know that Liam fared well in surgery, and I'm also happy to know that they are keeping him for 10 days, because he's so tiny, and just had invasive surgery. He needs to be monitored. I hope that he can still bond with his mother, while he is in the hospital. That is so important in the first days after birth.
I just posted a praise report and miracle testimony on behalf of our sister, Marianne. I put it in the "Testimonies and Miracles" forum. No spoilers here..........the news is over there.
I'll check it out!My goodness, Cheryl what a story about your little nephew (SO thankful that he came through that!) AND what a praise that Liam did so well during the surgery!! Barb, I just said a prayer for ALL of them, Leonard too!! We would love to see photos of little Liam whenever you can post them. And I will get over soon and read Cheryl's update on Marianne - can't wait to see it! (Just saw it -- it's amazing!!!) Hope everyone else is doing fine. Well today Daniel returns from Costa Rica (not for another 12+ hours from now, though), and what a week it's been! I have posted occasional updates on Facebook, but will summarize here:- They arrived in CR safely last Saturday afternoon, however one of the girls in his group had a seizure at the Charlotte airport while waiting in the [long] check-in line, and had to be rushed to the ER, so she missed the trip. (Daniel had already checked in so we were sitting in a waiting area when that happened. We heard a commotion with some yelling and later discovered that's what had happened. The place was swarming with people and it was a madhouse. I have not heard any update on her since then but hope and pray she is fine.)
- First night the food was awful (a sign of things to come!) so the group got late-night Pizza Hut.
- Sunday they toured a coffee plantation and visited a volcano! That night Daniel froze in his cold hotel room.
- Monday started well with a tour of a chocolate plantation (& samples!) and whitewater rafting, however one of the girls became ill and by night time, Daniel was sick too. The teacher called me to say a doctor was there to check both of them and she stood there while he checked Daniel and told me everything the doctor said. The doctor felt that it was just a viral or bacterial infection and that, with medication, he should feel much better by Tuesday. Well the medicine made him violently ill. There was a spare hotel room with three beds, so (with parental permission), the teacher put the sick girl in one bed, Daniel in the other, and she slept on the bed in between so she could keep watch over them both. I have to say she was really brave to do that and I appreciated it SO much!! - The doctor returned on Tuesday morning and gave Daniel a shot to help with the nausea. Then in the confusion of moving to the next hotel, he lost part of his medicine. He said the teacher was not happy about that!
- By Tuesday afternoon three more students were sick! The sick ones had to skip the fun zip-line canopy tour over the jungle, BUT they did NOT miss the fun bus ride through winding roads to the next region!! (Can you imagine having a tropical virus and having to ride on a tour bus for several hours?!)
- From Wednesday on, everybody was better, thank You Lord!! However Daniel had a bat flying around his room that evening. As in, a BAT!!!
- By Thursday night he was ready for REAL American food! I posted on FB some funny text messages he sent me about it ("Can you get me a Chick Fil-A sandwich and have it waiting when I get home.... if I see rice and beans again I'm leaving the family...." etc. etc.) however he did not appreciate me sharing all that so I deleted it.
- Friday they took a river tour and snorkeled in the Pacific. All in all he's glad he went, but he did say "this trip eradicated any interest in traveling to Mexico." (Ya think?!) So again, please pray that all goes smoothly on today's return trip... the bus ride to the airport, the flight to Charlotte, and our 2 hour drive back home.
Thank you all SO much. I planned to get a lot of stuff done while he was gone this week, but didn't. Between the anxiety over his illness, traveling with John while he worked out of town for two days, then two friends from church being hospitalized and visiting both of them yesterday (with a Good Friday service between the two), I haven't accomplished much.
Let me share a link that I posted yesterday though, on FB, to a beautiful song appropriate to the season:
Wow, what a trip that must have been for Daniel! I bet he will always remember it though! I'm so glad he's fine and at home again! Sounds like you had a rough time while he was gone, but that's normal for us Mom's. I did keep him in prayer and know the Lord was with him. Thanks Cheryl! If I get a chance later I'll try and tell you why that song is special to me (but I'm bad about getting back to post things later).
Thank you VERY much for praying for Daniel all week!! You have been so faithful to read & comment on my FB posts and keep up with it all, and I am so grateful!
His return flight is delayed by about 1-1/2 hours, so it's going to be a late night.
Yes, about the food situation... they were told not to take any food in their baggage, but that they could buy food once they got to Costa Rica if they wanted (3 meals/day were included in the tour fee, but you already know those three meals were rice and beans and he hates rice!). They told everyone to take a certain amount of spending cash per day and for two extra excursions that were not covered in the trip fee, which he did.
Well, he ended up paying cash to the doctor who checked him and for his meds-- over $130 total. That only left him $20 for the rest of the week. Supposedly we'll be reimbursed because he was required to buy trip insurance, but in the meantime he had no cash for the rest of the week for any sort of extras. He messaged me from the airport a couple of hours ago that he bought a slice of pizza, fries, and a water bottle for $25 (credit card worked there).
For the record, when I mentioned in a text message about it not being a good week for him he replied, "I've had a great time," so I'm glad to hear that.
Because he had to fry a lot of chicken {working at Chick Fil A} to pay for that trip!!! I'm glad he was able to enjoy it even though he was sick!Just heard from our son again, and now Liam will be in hospital for a month......
sort of sad, but he said they get to hold him for hours and I am thinking, best he is in hospital already in case of any complication, rather than rush him home and have something go wrong and have to stress fighting traffic to drive him to hospital.
I did mention Leonard toe is now infected in the bone right? Sooooo will update on that as we know more also he is having to take meds cause his uric acid is elevated. I'm praying for you all Barbara and will continue to. The Lord is with you and none of this took Him by surprise, it just takes us by surprise lol. Hang in there hon.

We've had a busy long weekend beginning with Friday since Bruce had that day off. We wound up doing all our shopping that day, and you know how that wears me out. Worn out or not though, I couldn't rest on Saturday as I had to get everything ready for Sunday - clean the house, get the Easter Baskets ready, fill all 36 eggs with candy, and have them ready to hide, plus all the regular chores. Getting ready for Sunday also meant getting the yards ready, so the kids could hunt for their Easter baskets and eggs. I didn't intend to, but wound up doing some gardening while I was at it. Thankfully that was the last thing I did, because the pain got so bad that I had to stop and get inside and just rest. But with Bruce's help, it all got done. Then came the big day - the day our precious Savior rose from the dead to prove that He was in fact God and could do all that He said He would do for us! Oh how I love Him!!!!
Obviously, the kids came over and had a blast hunting for their baskets and eggs. We intentionally made it harder for them this year as they're getting older, so Jenn, Bob, Bruce and I all had to give them hints at times LOL. But eventually they found all 36 eggs (18 eggs each) and their baskets. The weather here has been absolutely crazy. I don't ever remember it being like this in the last 30 years I've lived here. It was chilly as usual on Saturday, but on Sunday it was 85!!! Snow isn't as unusual as this heat was! Thankfully, a couple of weeks ago we'd been at Walmart with the kids, and they asked me to get them some water balloons, which I did. Seeing how it was only in the low 40's then, we didn't expect to use them for at least another month or more likely two. But it was so hot on Sunday, when Elijah reminded me of them, it sounded like the perfect way for them to cool down. Except they were dressed in their Sunday best clothes... but I keep an extra set of play clothes for them. Problem was that Elijah had outgrown them. Bruce solved that though when he realized that Elijah could most likely fit into most of his stuff (and he does!) lol. So Bruce got Elijah some clothes and I got Gracie's so they could go out and get as wet as they wanted to. Needless to say, they had a blast! They told me they were only going to use a third of the balloons and save the rest for another day (yeah...right..lol) They wound up using all 100 of them though. That's ok, I'll buy them another package and save it for another day without them knowing. They'd just used the last one when Jenn called them in for supper.
Bruce and Jenn did most of the cooking. All Bob and I did was peel potatoes . We had Ham, mashed potatoes, candied carrots, and rolls. We were supposed to have cranberry sauce too, but I forgot about it and never took it out of the fridge! For desert Bruce made an Apple pie for Jenn as he'd heard her say she was really wanting one,and Bob likes it too, and a chocolate cream pie for the kids as that's their favorite. We use paper plates so I don't have as much to wash afterward. So everyone stuffed themselves and then Bruce helped me clean up the kitchen. I have to admit that he did most of the work though. Jenn sent the kids outside to clean up all the balloons, explaining that they would hurt or even kill the birds and squirrels and chipmunks they loved if they didn't. I have to say though, that once they learned that, they didn't have to be told a second time, and did the best job I've ever seen. Bruce went out when they were almost done to double check and make sure there were no remnants left. By then it was after 6pm and they had to get home as they had school the next day.
Needless to say, I crashed in my chair then, and only got up to go to bed. I didn't wake up till 9am today! I couldn't believe it was that late! So here I am, and now I'd better go to the bible study thread and then I'm going to go rest as much as I can other than the chores that can't be put off.

We had a great time with our kids and grandkids. My daughter cooked ham in a Crock-Pot, so it was very moist. Mu daughter-in-law brought food and I brought deviled eggs.
The retirement community puts the weekly menu on our doors early Sunday morning. I looked for Monday's lunch offerings and was surprised to see the first choice was "Cat of the Day." Cat?? Umm....tabby or calico?? I took the menu with me to my daughter's to show them. We thought it was so funny! Today there was a revised menu on the door: "Catch of the Day"(Baked Cod) A lot of people here were joking about it.

Sounds like everyone had a real nice Easter, and beautiful weather for it, for a change. It didn't rain here, until later in the afternoon.....i think... Not real sure, really. I also cooked in my crock pot. I'm avoiding the A/C and haven't had to turn it on yet. But, running the oven, makes it unbearable in the house, so I put a pork loin roast in the crock pot. I made 2 boiled eggs. I was going to devil them, then thought..........hmmm, why bother with it? So, I just cut them in half, salted them and ate them with my meal. I had mashed potatoes and gravy with it all. Cindy, I forgot about my cranberry sauce too, but tonight for supper, I had it with the leftovers. But, I did the leftovers way different. I thawed out a package of corn tortillas, and heated some on the burner. Then I took a couple slices of the pork roast and ran them through my grinder. I added some of the broth, from the roast, and nuked it for a minute to heat it, slapped it on the tortilla, with cranberry sauce on the side. I had an Easter leftover taco. LOL I really don't pay a whole lot of attention to the cooking now. Hate cooking for myself, so I wind up eating things, I'll never fix for anyone else.
LOVE the pictures, Lulu. Margie, that was hilarious about the meal menu!

Bless your hearts. Thank you so much for the prayers. I spent yesterday morning in the ER as I was having a lot of severe chest pain and that's one pain I don't mess around with. After 3 hours and more tests than I could count, they decided it wasn't my heart or lungs, that it was most likely the RA/Sjögren's flaring and causing the chest pain. I had to agree with them as it was the only thing that made sense as I could tell I was flaring since my entire body hurt as well. The only bad part about it was that the pain didn't diminish at all and I was still in a great deal of pain by the time I went to bed last night. I prayed though and this time asked the Lord to heal me, and then went to sleep. I woke up around 3am to go to the bathroom and felt 100% better! I was overjoyed and praised the Lord until I fell back to sleep again. Then when I awoke this morning, I again praised Him and thanked Him for ending that awful pain. Right now I can feel a little pain in various joints etc. so I know it's still trying to flare, but the Lord is holding it back and keeping it from overwhelming me. Bruce was so sweet to me yesterday too. I felt awful causing him to miss a day at work, but his boss told him not to worry about it, to just take care of me and let them know how I was doing. God sure has been good to us to give him such a job with such great people. They used one of his sick days so that he'll get a full check for this week too. He took care of me all day long, making sure I could just rest and not do anything else. I don't even want to think about the hospital bill since I have no insurance at all to help pay for it. I'm just going to leave that in the Lord's hands, knowing He will take care of it. I always do my best to pay my bills on time but this will be beyond me, so it seems natural to ask my Father for help. Today there was a revised menu on the door: "Cat ch of the Day"(Baked Cod) A lot of people here were joking about it. That's so funny Margie! I love seeing things like that! I'm sure everyone got a kick out of it!
here's our Quiche Spinach is from our garden and our beautiful Easter girl.... Great pictures Lulu! And what a beautiful little girl! She sure is growing up, isn't she? You must be so proud of her! Sounds like everyone had a real nice Easter, and beautiful weather for it, for a change. It didn't rain here, until later in the afternoon.....i think... Not real sure, really. I'm so glad you said that, as it reminded me that the kids asked if I'd make tacos this coming weekend when they come over! I'd forgotten all about that!
I've forgotten the cranberry sauce at every holiday meal for the last several years - it's gotten to be a joke now. I try so hard to remember it, even leaving myself notes and at the last minute I always forget it!
Cindy said she may need to go to hospital it hurts to breath....so please pray for her. I am hoping its just that she over did for Easter but asked for an update when she is able. Thank you for asking for prayer for me Barbara. the prayers really helped a lot! You're right, I'm sure this flare up has been caused by all I did over the Easter Weekend. I'm just going to have to rest and let it run it's course now I guess. This is our little grandson Liam... He'll be in the hospital for awhile as he needs to recover from an operation What a precious baby! He's absolutely adorable! Praying for Cindy and for Liam Thank you so much Margie!Thank you for letting us know about Cindy, Barbara. My prayers are already on their way up. Still praying for that little sweet baby, Liam.
Thank you so much Cheryl! I really do appreciate all the prayers. The Lord honored every single one of them! Thank you!!!!

Well i don't understand computers and Ron downloads and then takes out downloads, but all is fine, I mostly just come here to go to the prayer forum, most of you all have facebook and i choose not to go to facebook. I don't like computers the way they are now days, I had more fun with my computer back around the year 2000. I have to say that overall having a computer has been a blessing for me to help me grow stronger. I have a good Christian teacher that I listen to on-line, five days a week and if I miss a talk I can listen to the archive and join in on live chat if I feel like it. Well I have not read my Bible yet this morning so I want to go do that now. God bless, it is always nice to see you all here.

Michael our son, said Liam had his first 'poop' and he never thought he would be 'excited' about a 'poop' LOL
But of course, in Liam's case, it is actually good news!!!

I'm just glad to have you back Marlene!
What's the MRI for Barbara?
Bruce was up a lot last night, but went to work anyway as he had a lot to do there. I feel so badly that he has to work no matter how badly he feels. I'm not feeling to great myself, but it's nothing new. Just life. Like they say, if it doesn't kill you it'll make you stronger,

Everyone. Been a weird weather week here. We were in the 80's for over a week, and then yesterday, the temps dropped considerably down to 63 degrees. It was in the 50's last night, and it's down right COLD. I have been stubborn about turning on the heat, and it's gotten pretty cold in the house. A damp cold. That messes with my body, so my pain level has been up, but I still refuse to turn on that heat. It's supposed to start warming up again and be in the 70's this week.
I have a little homesteader in one of my rose trees, LOL. Bluebirds are using it. They are real close to the office, so I get to hear the chirping real clear in the mornings. I can't wait until the babies are hatched, because it will be a welcomed racket.
I took this picture at night. It was storming and I was worried about the babies, but spotted both adult birds in there, protecting the eggs. I couldn't get a shot of them, because of the darkness, but wanted to post this to show the ribbon. LOL, I didn't put that ribbon on my tree. It's almost like they marked their nest. I went to pull it out of the roses, then realized that it was part of their nest, so I left it alone.

It is good to read that baby Liam is doing well.
What a blessing that is Cheryl, to have the bluebirds make a nest in that spot. Your camera takes nice pictures, I am looking forward to seeing more pictures. I should go outside now and give the cardinal birds some bird food, it is that time of the morning.
I heard a strange noise last night at sunset when I was outside. It was like an echoing humming sound, like it was coming from the sky, instantly my joints hurt also when I heard that sound, and my dog started barking, don't know, it is a mystery. I will try to take a picture of jackrabbits and send it soon.

It has turned colder here too, with a lot more wind. I didn't do any walking outside today. A couple who live here had a party for their 60th wedding anniversary so we went to that. Got to meet some of their family members. There was a good turnout.
Hope everyone is doing good. Hugs.

It is good to read that baby Liam is doing well.

And being in the area that you are, I would doubly guess that's what it was. The problem I would have is..........is it to monitor the illegal traffic?.....or is it to monitor the legal residents? If I ever catch a drone hovering over my home, I will shoot it down.
I'm looking forward to your pictures!! Are your jackrabbits the size of small dogs? We have some pretty large ones, that hang out in our yard. Ed loved the rabbits.
I used to love to walk around my yard, at night. But, after seeing that snake, last year, when it attacked our bluebirds, I'm so nervous about doing that anymore. And I've been finding holes in my yard. BIG holes. I have no idea what is digging them, but these are holes big enough to turn an ankle badly! So, that's all the more reason to not be walking around in the dark. I stepped into one of those type holes, when I was young, while chasing after Joshua when he was a toddler. I messed up my ankle real bad and it's never been the same since. I have weak ankles, anyway. OK, I'm babbling.....lol.

It really sounds like you can keep yourself just as busy as you want to, around there. And it sounds like there are some really nice people to fellowship with. I'm so happy to know this. So many places are not as nice as yours, so it's good to know there are still great places to live and be with good Christian people.

It probably was a drone in the sky Cheryl, I never thought of that but yes drones are being flown in this area now. I remember once when I was a security guard in Florida, I had to make my rounds around the outside of a small shopping center. One night I noticed a working secretary woman run out the door of a building with no shoes on her feet, she said a man was in the building, so then a police arrived there also. I saw a car pick up the man and saw the man hide in the back seat while the office was there and he said to to me," You did not see anything." I just said oh, OK. I thought it was this site that was saving my password here and I did not want my password saved, I want to type it in myself, now I see it saved again so I asked Ron about that and he said it is not this site doing that but my settings on my clear out history page that is doing that. I need a husband or a 10 year old kid to teach me what I do wrong with my computer.

Cindy: Leonard had a MRI because the infection (that he took 2 different antibiotics for)
has gone into the bone in the toe.
So the specialist, who Leonard will see tomorrow, wanted an MRI done.....
I am still holding out hope he can come up with a stronger antibiotic.....
but the MRI may have been ordered to get a better idea about amputating the toe.
Cheryl what an adorable blessing to have a nest with bluebird babies!!! But snakes an mysteries holes....not so much!
Anna I would not like drones buzzing about!!! Were we live we hardly ever hear an airplane....except in the summer a small helicopter gives rides to tourist of the coast and on even rarer occasions, a military jet will fly up the coast but that is very rare. We don't really have traffic until you get up to the highway so we don't hear that noise either and that is also mostly in the summer months....we live on a quite street and mostly hear the ocean.....so noisy drones would NOT be appreciated!!

That's so neat Cheryl! I love watching my birds and animals every day and know you're enjoying yours as well. God is so good to us to give us so much to enjoy! Our weather's been really weird too. One day it was in the low 40's with a strong wind and rain making it feel much colder, and the next day it was 85 which really freaked me out! The day after that it was in the 60's and then it went back to normal which is the mid 50's for a high and the low 30's for a low. Yesterday was supposed to be cold so that's what I dressed for, but it wound up being in the 70's! Ridiculous because it's was in the 30's the night before! It's already 60 today and supposed to go up to the 70's again with a low of 41. Well, at least the low will be somewhat normal, lol. This whole week looks crazy weather wise, but I'll wait and see because it's been so crazy that the weather stations have had to totally reconfigure their "weekly" reports practically on a daily basis! The Lord must be laughing about that!It is good to read that baby Liam is doing well.

Hope everyone is doing good. Hugs. I love how you're getting to know all your neighbors Margie. It seems like now days hardly anyone really knows their neighbors, much less spends any time with them. There are people who have lived by each other for years that don't even know each others names. When we bought this house, I was determined to get to know my neighbors, which was hard for me because I'm really very shy, believe it or not. But I made myself go over and introduce myself to the three that lived nearest to us. I'm so glad I did too because they're all very nice people and have been very good neighbors to us over the years. It probably was a drone in the sky Cheryl, I never thought of that but yes drones are being flown in this area now. I rarely log out of anything though, except for places like my bank or things like that which need to be secure. Other than that though, I don't want the hassle of having to sign in again all the time, besides which, I know I'd forget my passwords anyway lol.Cindy: Leonard had a MRI because the infection (that he took 2 different antibiotics for)

I certainly hope that's not an option. I know they wouldn't do that unless there was no other way around it, and his toe would have to be really super bad with no hope of it getting better for that to happen - especially with diabetes.
We rarely hear any aircraft, but a couple of weeks ago, while I was reading one evening, I heard a helicopter overhead. At least I think it was a helicopter. The thing is that it got so low that it shook our entire house! (later I heard from my neighbors that their homes shook too). The pictures on the walls were shaking and I thought they'd fall off! The cats were going crazy trying to figure out what it was. I was concerned that it might be crashing as they wouldn't normally fly so low. We still have no idea why it happened as there was nothing in the news, but he couldn't have been any higher than just at the very top of the trees over our house! Scary!Barbra praying for your family.... Cindy glad your ok! chest pains is a scary thing for sure! Hi Lulu! It's sure good to hear from you. I miss you guys! Thanks, I know your prayers helped a lot.
I still wasn't feeling well all week and weekend and tried to rest as much as I could. The kids came over after church Sunday though, which was nice. I didn't do much though. The kids just played outside while we chatted inside. They were all excited because they got to go see the Barnum and Bailey Circus on Saturday. It's awful that the animal rights people have shut them down. What a shame. I'm finally starting to feel some better now though. (I just hope it continues!)
Oh, and I forgot to give you the good news! I think I told you that Bob got laid off work a week ago right? Well last Friday he got and started a new job! lol. It's not a job that he'll want to keep for good, as it doesn't pay that much or have insurance, but at least it's something to tide them over while he continues to look. And in fact, he may have already found something else as he's been offered a chance to be a pharmacy tech. I don't know if he'll go for it or not. He doesn't have much confidence mainly because he sees himself as "fat". But I know he could do the job and would probably enjoy it. They pay for the training and everything. He'd be making more than he ever has before. I told him that it was more like a career instead of just a job. I really hope he goes for it! We'll see. I'll pray that the Lord's will be done.
Wanted to share this with you guys as it was so fascinating... fresh-hope.com/thread/3448/bashan-gates-transfiguration-return
