We alternate between the two churches, because Devon is needed to do streaming, the slides etc. at the first one we originally attended for years.
It is not a 'woke' church, but it is sliding ( IMO), slowly a wee bit more liberal. So on the 1st and 3rd Sundays we go to the original, and the 2nd and 4th Sundays, to the one I really really like!
We also go to a Bible study at each one.
Both churches have some lovely, friendly, kind, compassionate, prayer warriors etc. brothers and sisters at them. And actually we have seen others ( besides us), that seem to go sometimes to one, and then the other church, each month.
Thank you soooo much for the Wiersbe quotes!!! They were great!!! :)

I know what you mean Cindy, but I think, that example is just the tip of the iceberg!!!
Anna, I think it was done very subtly...little by little. People have always been sinners, but as we move closer and closer to the end times, it will get worse and worse. Darkness and evil will continue to grow. "all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth...." 2 thess.2:10
"the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons...1 Tim. 4:1
"For as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. Matt. 24:37-39
"Just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire. Jude 1:7
Knowing this first of all, that scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing, following their own sinful desires. They will say, “Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things are continuing as they were from the beginning of creation.” 2 Peter 3:2,3
Treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God 2 Peter 3:4
In the pride of his face the wicked does not seek him; all his thoughts are, “There is no God.” Psalm 10:4
And so on, and on, and on

The oracle about Arabia. In the thickets of Arabia you must spend the night, O caravans of Dedanites. Isaiah 21:13
Isaiah now gives a prophecy that the Arabians will also receive judgment from God. They will be so fearful they will leave their homes and spend the night ( maybe many such nights?) in the woods, in hopes of being safer.
Bring water for the thirsty, O inhabitants of the land of Tema, Meet the fugitive with bread. Isaiah 21:14
Those fleeing are going to need supplies. They are not going to get much relief from their sufferings. They will be deprived of most of the necessities of life. In a desert water is the most essential need, and bread a close second. It seems that, there will nevertheless, be a scarcity of both.
For they have fled from the swords, From the drawn sword, and from the bent bow And from the press of battle. Isaiah 21:15
Their enemy is pursuing them intent on killing them. Thus:
For thus the Lord said to me, "In a year, as a hired man would count it, all the splendor of Kedar will terminate Isaiah 21:16
Within a year they will be wiped out, annihilated. The prophecy gives a precise time for this to happen.
Is not man conscripted to labor on earth, And are not his days like the days of a hired man Job 7:1
A hired man would carefully count the days.

I will keep praying for Chris, you and Bruce and your whole family. But for Chris to begin to feel better. It is so hard to see a loved one suffering, especially if you mostly... can't do something or anything to help. Well, prayers can help.

Thank you so much for being so encouraging!!! :)
Yes indeed........ less and less of the world!!!
It's funny, Devon enjoys is summer job a LOT... ( he works at the Seaside Aquarium)
However, we both often feel the most 'comfortable', at 'home', at 'peace' 'safe', etc. when we are in church...
but especially at Seaside Calvary, where the pastor there digs really deep into scripture.
Last Wed. for the 1st time, even Leonard thought the Bible study by Pastor Chris was really really really great!
Still, we have a lot of brothers and sisters at NCFF that are dear, and Pastor John does a good job.
So the point is, the world is less and less alluring!!! Well, mostly....... not at all alluring.

O my threshed people, and my afflicted of the threshing floor! What I have heard from the Lord of hosts, The God of Israel, I make known to you. Isaiah 21:10
Threshing separates the true grain from the chaff, so when it refers to people, it pertains to those who did not follow God, but were full of pride in man ( and self), and will symbolically be the chaff, left on the threshing floor. Nevertheless, it brings hope to God's delivered people of Israel.
Isaiah makes it clear this prophecy is not his own, but is of God, the God of Israel.
The oracle concerning Edom. One keeps calling to me from Seir, "Watchman, how far gone is the night? Watchman, how far gone is the night? Isaiah 21:11
How long will they be oppressed by the Assyrians? How much of it has passed already?
Asking the question twice, may show the inquirer's anxiety, worry, fear, deep interest, etc.
In the morning you shall say, ‘Would that it were evening!’ And at evening you shall say, ‘Would that it were morning!’ because of the dread of your heart which you dread, and because of the sight of your eyes which you will see Deuteronomy 28:67
The watchman says, "Morning comes but also night. If you would inquire, inquire; Come back again. Isaiah 21:12
Isaiah relies, there will be a short reprieve, but it will be only temporary, and then, a new threat (they will be oppressed yet again).
They can ask again, because God will answer those who seriously ask.
This is a comfort to the believer, we can always talk with the Lord.

More on fallen Babylon:
Now behold, here comes a troop of riders, horsemen in pairs. " And one said, "Fallen, fallen is Babylon; And all the images of her gods are shattered on the ground. Isaiah 21:9
We read this in Revelation about the future fallen Babylon.
And he cried out with a mighty voice, saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! She has become a dwelling place of demons and a prison of every unclean spirit, and a prison of every unclean and hateful bird Revelation 18:2
Babylon is the antichrist's world political system, and also the capital city of this system.
Demons will have been involved in the evil political system of the antichrist, the false religion, and the materialistic, secular economy.
The nations have all become foolish, mad, insane. A message for us, is not to be seduced, by all the glitter of the world, we are shown in this verse how it will end.
Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 1 John 2:15
I see the world spiraling down in immorality at an astonishing rate, and it also seems like the economy of nations is doing the same.
However, the movers and shakers, the elite of the world, have a 'plan'. They have no intention of changing the sinking morality, they intend to continue to live in sensuous debauchery. Nevertheless they intend to eventually fix the economy, and for a time, succeed. They aim to live in a glorified rebuilt Babylon.
God also has plans... and His plans never fail!
Time will come when grace will be up, and total destruction is going to happen, to both the city and system.
15 Raise your battle cry against her on every side! She has given herself up, her pillars have fallen, Her walls have been torn down. For this is the vengeance of the Lord...
How the hammer of the whole earth Has been cut off and broken! How Babylon has become An object of horror among the nations!
24 “I set a snare for you and you were also caught, O Babylon, While you yourself were not aware; You have been found and also seized Because you have engaged in conflict with the Lord.” Jeremiah 50:15,23,24
It's too late, God's grace has run out, they had ample opportunity to repent, and would not!
God hates pride, they put their pride as the ultimate 'virtue'. Sound familiar?
Their doom is now certain!
The one world religion, might seem surprising at first. Have we not been told and noticed for ourselves, people are falling away from the Christian faith at a galloping rate?
Ah, but not so for the occult, witchcraft and satanism..... that is growing at a breakneck speed.... and is deeply demonic, and about Satan himself.
So in a sense, people are not less 'religious', they are becoming more 'religious'. ( tho they prefer to call themselves: 'spiritual'... and to the degree they are inspired by 'spirits', demons, they are kind of right).
This false religion will be the one world religion.
There will be massive worldwide deceptions, conjured up by demonic signs and wonders! So incredible will the manifestations be, that IF it were possible, they would even deceive the elect. ( but it will not be possible).
These signs etc. are deceptions and counterfeits of Satan.
So it is not surprising that, when this 3rd Babylon is destroyed, it becomes a prison for unclean spirits, fallen angels otherwise known as demons.

I guess I would not have been surprised at $25.... but also....at dollar general???
At the dollar tree it is now a $1.25 each for such items.... do you not have a dollar tree near you?
Anyway, great article as usual!
I guess it's time ( or getting close) to think of buying a big bag of rice, and beans sigh!

Now behold, here comes a troop of riders, horsemen in pairs. " And one said, "Fallen, fallen is Babylon; And all the images of her gods are shattered on the ground. Isaiah 21:9
The watchman proclaimed the calamitous fall of Babylon. Babylon fell twice, once in 689 BC to the Assyrians, and again, in 539 BC to the Persians.
The 1st Babylon was founded by the God hating rebellious Nimrod. It was where idolatry was introduced, via the Tower of Babel. Though God separated the people by confusing their language, they took their idols with them.
However, this is one of those 'near' and far prophecies. Babylon will fall yet again, (an ultimate complete and total fall).
We've come full circle....Babylon started false religions, and at the end of time, it will be reconstituted in the final Babylon, in a worldwide false religion.
And another angel, a second one, followed, saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, she who has made all the nations drink of the wine of the passion of her immorality. Revelation 14:8
The immorality is physical (sexual sin)... but even more so, spiritual sin.
The rebellion, the hatred, loathing, abhorrence, detestation, against God is higher than it's ever been.
This is the people's response, ever tho, they have heard the two witnesses, the 144,000 thousand, been witnessed to, by Christians, lived through much of the tribulation judgments etc.
This angel pronounces the final judgment. This Babylon is not the one city, but rather the worldwide kingdom, and false religion of the antichrist.
Plus
And he cried out with a mighty voice, saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! She has become a dwelling place of demons and a prison of every unclean spirit, and a prison of every unclean and hateful bird Revelation 18:2
I am going to have to add a bit more to this verse tomorrow. I'm just very tired.

Isaiah 21:9 tomorrow :)
Thank you ever so much for the verses about only being loving and ( not) speaking the gospel...as opposed to telling the truth in love. Those verses were great! I knew most of them, but they were not up front and center in my mind. they were super helpful!!!
You are such a faithful friend, to take so much time and effort to comfort and help! Thank you again.

For thus the Lord says to me, "Go, station the lookout, let him report what he sees. Isaiah 21:6
Isaiah stations a watchman, on the wall, or a high place, like a watchtower, who will report what Isaiah heard from God, in his prophecy, is coming to pass. The lookout will report what he sees.
When he sees riders, horsemen in pairs, A train of donkeys, a train of camels, Let him pay close attention, very close attention. Isaiah 21:7
This would be the approach of a military army. The approaching army starts off small, just some riders and horsemen in pairs, but soon, as the army gets closer, he sees a train of donkeys and camels, this is an indication, that it is a large, severe and serious army coming.
Then the lookout called, "O Lord, I stand continually by day on the watchtower, And I am stationed every night at my guard post. Isaiah 21:8
The watchman is diligent, unceasing, and continually attentive.

The oracle concerning the wilderness of the sea. As windstorms in the Negev sweep on, It comes from the wilderness, from a terrifying land. Isaiah 21:1
This is about Babylon, the 'wilderness of the sea', is another name for Babylon.
And the windstorms that come up violently and suddenly, is how suddenly Babylon will be overthrown.
A harsh vision has been shown to me; The treacherous one still deals treacherously, and the destroyer still destroys. Go up, Elam, lay siege, Media; I have made an end of all the groaning she has caused. Isaiah 21:2
Elam and Media were part of the Persian army that defeated Babylon.
It is a very grim, severe and brutal vision, of the devastation and destruction to come. So much so, that it caused Isiah much pain and sorrow. ( even for the Jews enemy).
For this reason my loins are full of anguish; Pains have seized me like the pains of a woman in labor. I am so bewildered I cannot hear, so terrified I cannot see. Isaiah 21:3
This is as if, he has taken on the character and emotions, of the Babylonians.
My mind reels, horror overwhelms me; The twilight I longed for has been turned for me into trembling. Isaiah 21:4
The terror of such a sudden calamity and imminent death overwhelms.
They set the table, they spread out the cloth, they eat, they drink; "Rise up, captains, oil the shields," Isaiah 21:5
Belshazzar had that night prepared a magnificent banquet, and the leaders and soldiers, who should have been preparing the nation’s defenses, are all merrily feasting and enjoying revelry, when the enemy attacks.
They are stirred to action, but way too late.

I liked what you wrote about keeping after a person with the Word.
I needed to hear that today. We went to one of our Bible studies last night, and one of the questions was about that very thing.
Devon spoke up and said ( among other things) we need to give them the gospel.
Only...they kind of immediately shot him down, by saying... we need to be loving and kind to them.
Well of course, but I keep thinking, it's not 'our words', and even our actions ( goodness and kindness, and helpfulness), that will save somebody.
Yes, we should be kind and loving, and do those things.
This is one of the two churches we go to, which is big on 'LOVING' people to Jesus.
But I keep thinking God says in His Word Speak the TRUTH.... in LOVE
God lists the truth first, and love 2nd.
We need both, but it's God's word ( the Holy Spirit) that convicts people
Not just 'our loving them' and being kind etc.
Even the unsaved can be 'kind' so if we just love them, but don't give them the gospel how will they be able to tell us from kind unsaved folks?
I know our love for each other is also a part of that... but they may never see that, if they never get inside a church?
I get it, that if we JUST throw the gospel at the unsaved, without love, that is not the best way on the other hand... if we are just loving, without the truth that also is not helpful, if we never get around to the truth.
We need both.
I think, it would surely be ( as is easier for me) easier....to just be 'nice' and not to speak the gospel. Because it is the gospel, that is going to raise the shackles of many people today, and make them angry.
So I almost wonder if it is on some level, that some churches today, only want to just focus on: God loves you..... period!
I think probably in my life time I honestly only spoke at length about the gospel to a handful of people.
( that is one hand...probably not both).
I have a hard enough time, in this particular 'Christian' Bible study group never mind unbelievers...
I don't know, maybe 'some' unbelievers might actually be easier than some Christians?
Once again, I am close to not going to that Bible study.
I also go to a Bible study at our other church, and I am much much more 'comfortable' there because the pastor pretty much preaches the Word ( Kind of like a 2nd Sunday sermon).
We have had this chat before, I know.

In the year that the commander came to Ashdod, when Sargon the king of Assyria sent him and he fought against Ashdod and captured it Isaiah 20:1
Ashdod was one of the principal cities of the Philistines.
This kind of reminds me of today, when we see wars and rumors of wars, and slowly begin to wonder, what it might have to do with our country?
Countries now, as then, continue to make foreign alliances instead of trusting God! Relying on another country for help, is folly, because, when push comes to shove, they may be having a hard time to even save themselves, and without God, it is hopeless.
at that time the Lord spoke through Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, "Go and loosen the sackcloth from your hips and take your shoes off your feet." And he did so, going naked and barefoot. Isaiah 20:2
They wore sackcloth for mourning and also it was worn also by the prophets.
He stripped off his outer garments to symbolize shame, disgrace, humiliation, abasement, disfavor, etc. There is some question as to if this meant totally nakedness or if he had a loincloth. In any case, his manner of undress, reflected the seriousness of the reality of the circumstances.
And the Lord said, "Even as My servant Isaiah has gone naked and barefoot three years as a sign and token against Egypt and Cush Isaiah 20:3
Now we see how long this happened... and why. It was for a sign ( symbolizing what was coming) and perhaps three years, because God graciously gave them time for repentance.
so the king of Assyria will lead away the captives of Egypt and the exiles of Cush, young and old, naked and barefoot with buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt. Isaiah 20:4
There will be no distinction between the ages. And in this verse, it is very clear they will be in fact, totally naked, and shamed.
Then they will be dismayed and ashamed because of Cush their hope and Egypt their boast. Isaiah 20:5
Now the Jews can see why God forbid looking to foreign countries for aid, instead of to Him.
So the inhabitants of this coastland will say in that day, ‘Behold, such is our hope, where we fled for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria; and we, how shall we escape? Isaiah 20:6
The nation they relied on is captive, and they worry what will we do now? They were blinded, and refused to find help in the only one who could give it.

The Lord will strike Egypt, striking but healing; so they will return to the Lord , and He will respond to them and will heal them. Isaiah 19:22
When things are going swimmingly, and we have everything possible we need, and lots of what we don't even need, we often forget the Lord God.
Then when severe calamities hit, we ( as will Egypt) call out to God, ask for forgiveness, and are willing to repent, and be converted.
So as a parent will punish a child for the child's improvement, God often does the same. This is a way, God sometimes uses, to bring salvation to some people and/or nations. The striking is actually a way to their healing.
In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrians will come into Egypt and the Egyptians into Assyria, and the Egyptians will worship with the Assyrians. Isaiah 19:23
The healing also will result in peace between these two nations. A unity between two hostile nations.
( and I am thinking, that 'in that day' this will be true for other nations at war against each other) Such as this next verse indicates:
In that day Israel will be the third party with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing in the midst of the earth, Isaiah 19:24
Israel will become what God had always intended for her to be, a blessing to other nations.
He has not dealt thus with any nation; And as for His ordinances, they have not known them. Praise the Lord! Psalms 147:20
Instead of being nations at war, and rivals they will all be like one people, and worshiping the true God.
whom the Lord of hosts has blessed, saying, "Blessed is Egypt My people, and Assyria the work of My hands, and Israel My inheritance." Isaiah 19:25
They have been converted, and are the Lord's people. But Israel, as God's inheritance, is God's first born.
God made His covenants, promises etc. with Israel first.

In that day there will be an altar to the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar to the Lord near its border. Isaiah 19:19
In that day...in the future Egypt will worship the true God. Many Egyptians will be converted throughout the land.
There will be memorials that let other nations and peoples know, that the true God is ruling over Egypt.
It will become a sign and a witness to the Lord of hosts in the land of Egypt; for they will cry to the Lord because of oppressors, and He will send them a Savior and a Champion, and He will deliver them. Isaiah 19:20
They will cry out to the true God for deliverance, And as God delivered Israel, so will He do the same for Egypt.
Thus the Lord will make Himself known to Egypt, and the Egyptians will know the Lord in that day. They will even worship with sacrifice and offering, and will make a vow to the Lord and perform it. Isaiah 19:21
In that day... there is coming, a time, in the future Millennium, that everyone will know the Lord, as Jesus will be reigning.
The Egyptians will be true and sincere worshipers.
Make vows to the Lord your God and fulfill them; Let all who are around Him bring gifts to Him who is to be feared. Psalms 76:11

In that day the Egyptians will become like women, and they will tremble and be in dread because of the waving of the hand of the Lord of hosts, which He is going to wave over them. Isaiah 19:16
They will be terrified, fainthearted, tremulous, timid, panicky etc.
The mighty men of Babylon have ceased fighting, They stay in the strongholds; Their strength is exhausted They are becoming like women;... Jeremiah 51:30
Because the waving of His hand threatens a judgment of God.
The land of Judah will become a terror to Egypt; everyone to whom it is mentioned will be in dread of it, because of the purpose of the Lord of hosts which He is purposing against them. Isaiah 19:17
I think the words 'will become' point to the future. Certainly when Jesus comes again, most nations will have to change their viewpoint, concerning Israel ( and of course God).
In that day five cities in the land of Egypt will be speaking the language of Canaan and swearing allegiance to the Lord of hosts; one will be called the City of Destruction Isaiah 19:18
Now we read of... 'that day',.. so in the future, Some Egyptians will be converted. They will give up their superstitions and idols and worship the true God.
That alone is miraculous.. 5 cities out of 6!
The Lord of Hosts, is Jesus.
And they will be speaking Hebrew it seems.
That kind of reminds me, of when people sometimes, scorn Christians for speaking 'Christian-ese'.
It is a part of the whole being born again. We speak 'Bible' a lot. It's not that we are trying to put unbelievers off, it's because we belong to a new kingdom... A part of that, is a new language. We find such comfort, knowledge, hope etc., it is hard not to naturally speak the language of our true home.
There is some thought this was the city of the sun, Heliopois, the home of the Egyptian sun god.... but perhaps, it also refers to all who did not convert, and remained in their sins.

It seems to me that I am frequently seeing parallels, between those ancient days, and today!
The princes of Zoan have acted foolishly, The princes of Memphis are deluded; Those who are the cornerstone of her tribes Have led Egypt astray. Isaiah 19:13
The councilors of Zoan were foolish and deluded! That sounds familiar, for sure, to me.
In their pride and vanity, they thought they were wise, but they deceived themselves, and were deluded. Without God and God's wisdom, this is the ultimate outcome, they will eventually become insane.
I am seeing a lot of that today, and the further away people go from God, the crazier their insanity.
The Lord has mixed within her a spirit of distortion; They have led Egypt astray in all that it does, As a drunken man staggers in his vomit. Isaiah 19:14
Their councils were perverted, as well as unwise. God, just adds to their stupidity, a type of giddy, dizziness, so that they were drunk on their own proud self-deception, and they vomited up ruinous theories, notions, fancies, councils, etc.
The result being:
There will be no work for Egypt Which its head or tail, its palm branch or bulrush, may do. Isaiah 19:15
The people ( no matter rich or poor, high or low ranking) will be so stupefied, that nothing they do or plan, will be successful.
It will not be rational or sensible, nor fruitful. There is no real sane council, only folly.
Hummm, again, this is beginning to seem rather familiar to our day.
We went to a Bible study at Calvary last night, that went on a wee bit long, so I am tired today. Staying up at night, is no longer like when I was a teenager haha. Done for Today

Absolutely loved your input!!!! Thank you so much :) And I copied most of the verses and put them on Facebook.
Haha believe it or not... I knew about holding the mouse over the Bible reference, to see the verse itself...
You have been so very helpful that way...I don't remember when you told me that
After all... it 'ONLY' takes about 50 times of you telling me... and about 10 years.... of me... trying to learn it
and Lo and Behold, I got it :)

More and more bad news:
Moreover, the manufacturers of linen made from combed flax And the weavers of white cloth will be utterly dejected. Isaiah 19:9
Drought and the drying up of the Nile to an extremely low level, will cause all manner of unemployment, such as the manufacturers of linen.
And the pillars of Egypt will be crushed; All the hired laborers will be grieved in soul. Isaiah 19:10
The pillars ( the economy) on which the society relies on, is going to be crushed. And that will cause the people to become very depressed and dejected.
The princes of Zoan are mere fools; The advice of Pharaoh's wisest advisers has become stupid. How can you men say to Pharaoh, "I am a son of the wise, a son of ancient kings"? Isaiah 19:11
The government is; incompetent, blundering, foolish, and not able to deal with the issues... Instead they flatter and lie to the pharaoh.
This kind of reminds me of our times.
Well then, where are your wise men? Please let them tell you, And let them understand what the Lord of hosts Has purposed against Egypt. Isaiah 19:12
These men who are puffed up with pride, in their egos, thinking they are wise, and yet, they don't seem to grasp the danger.
The problem most likely is, they depended on their 'magic'. and were actually pretenders and frauds... so how could they tell what they did not know?

The waters from the sea will dry up, And the river will be parched and dry. Isaiah 19:5
Egypt depends mostly on the Nile for its water supply. There is not a lot of rain there. Therefore, it's false gods and man-made idols will be no help. This will be an utter disaster.
So this catastrophe is added to the civil war!! With such a great reduction in water, it does not matter what fortifications, weapons, number of soldiers, etc. you might have.... Water is of the utmost physical priority.
The canals will emit a stench, The streams of Egypt will thin out and dry up; The reeds and rushes will rot away. Isaiah 19:6
This shows how silly and useless it would be for Israel to rely on Egypt ( instead of on the True all powerful God).
The bulrushes by the Nile, by the edge of the Nile And all the sown fields by the Nile Will become dry, be driven away, and be no more. Isaiah 19:7
I think they must have found various uses for the bulrushes and in the future when the Nile is so low, and all these things dry up, it will all add to Egypt's misery, and Egypt will be unable to help any other country, having way too many emergencies, in its own country.
This next verse would be an inevitable outcome also:
And the fishermen will lament, And all those who cast a line into the Nile will mourn, And those who spread nets on the waters will pine away. Isaiah 19:8
The loss of the fishing business would be a tremendous blow also.
Fish is the first thing listed when the Jews were 'fondly' remembering their captivity in Egypt:
We remember the fish which we used to eat free in Egypt, the cucumbers and the melons and the leeks and the onions and the garlic. Numbers 11:5
How quickly a strong nation can be brought to its knees! it might behoove us in our day to remember this!
Done for today.

Super info about Clouds and the Lord on them...Thank you and that.....
"Jesus is going to catch us up to join Him in the clouds some day soon"
I am beginning to really like the word 'soon' :)
That was so encouraging.... I was a little hesitant to write ( God's Word) which is NEVER a good idea..... to take away from His Word!!
I guess, somewhere in the back of my mind, was the thought or worry, what if an unbeliever were to read God rides on clouds, they might think: "Oh boy, Christians are really into myths" or something like that.
But when you reminded me of how we will be raptured.... The Truth is the TRUTH
And there are so many many things unbelievers scoff at what Christians believe not just that... but a zillion other things
Like Creation being about 6,000 years old or there are only men and women or that there is sin heaven and Hell and the list goes on and on.
They are going to sneer, scoff, dislike and even hate us, anyway ( unless God calls them, by His Word).
They won't like us or think we are smart by leaving out the 'hard' stuff in fact, 'hate' speech is already making headway.
So if they hated and scoffed at Jesus ( Creator)...
Wow, I need to ask forgiveness for that!!! And never do that again!
Well, I am thinking maybe clouds have been a judgment like in Noah's flood maybe? But were clouds a part of what caused the flood? Up to that time, I am thinking there were no clouds?

Excellent article as always!!!
Not planning on being here in the tribulation, but the bug eating....
IF I were here, I still would not eat bugs!!!!!!!
Since the tribulation, is 'ONLY" 7 looong years....
I would switch back to not eating meat ( like I more or less did, years ago...semi vegetarian )
I would go back to fruits and veggies
and
if they were not available then I would eat a number of nutritious 'weeds' Dandelions are in fact very nutritious ( and tho not high in protein, there is 'some: One cup of raw dandelion greens 1.5g of protein)... However: dandelion greens don't provide all of the body's essential amino acids
Fresh dandelion greens carry 10,161 IU of vitamin-A per 100 g (about 338% of daily recommended intake), one of the highest sources of vitamin-A among culinary herbs.
Its leaves are packed with numerous health-benefiting flavonoids such as carotene-ß, carotene-a, lutein, cryptoxanthin, and zeaxanthin.
It is also rich in many vital vitamins including folic acid, riboflavin, pyridoxine, niacin, vitamin-E and vitamin-C
Dandelion is probably the richest herbal sources of vitamin-K; provides about 650% of DRI. Vitamin-K has a potential role in bone strengthening by promoting osteoblastic activity in the bones. It also has established role in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease patients by limiting neuronal damage in the brain.
The herb is an ideal source of minerals like potassium, calcium, manganese, iron, and magnesium.
And the list goes on....so at least they are not bugs but since I won't be here...
Still for anyone who might be.... Your 1st priority is being saved!!!!!!
But you won't have to eat bugs...ugh!
There are also a ton of other nutritious 'weeds' etc. one can eat, if you have too.
