Nice to plant flowers, I have felt like I wished I had some flowers, was looking at wild flowers to pick and put into a vase.
I think using other than electricity for things is best, like the wi-fi that you have.
Can you recommend a solar cellphone charger to buy? I want to buy one, I can read reviews at amazon and just pick one.

Of course here on the West coast of Oregon ( 2 blocks from the ocean)
we get a ton of rain...usually.
We did NOT get as much as usual this summer.
But oddly...
one day it was still summer
and instead of a more gradual easing into Fall
Bang!
The next day was Fall
and rain
and rain
and rain.
So you must have sent your rain to us
no wait
that would be the wrong direction....
Well....I do not know how you did it
but here we are.
Actually, if any place can handle a bit of rain,
it would be on the Oregon coast.

I have seen videos of northern CA and a few of OR where people traveled the highway near the ocean and it looks like a place I would enjoy living at. Still warm temps. here, reached a high of 97F yesterday, that is warm for this time of year, hasn't cooled off yet but once it does it will stay cool.
At a Bible study with Michael we are starting a study of the gospel of John. Bible studies used to be only 1 to 3 times a week, sometimes those were just talks but now he has the time to post everyday and sometimes more than once a day, I am glad and looking forward to the listening and scrolling chat also, all people on scrolling chat are prayers and talk to uplift one another, so I am looking forward to this new change of more study together with the chat, usually one of his talks last for about 2 hours.

I spent 6 hours working in the garden yesterday and only got a small area done!  I warned Jennifer and my grandkids to wear clothes they didn't mind getting really dirty when they come over this weekend, because we're going to be working in the garden!  Hmm maybe I'll grab Christopher too!

There is not alot of people in that part of Northern CA that one thing to admit about CALI
It like paradise I couldn't live there too rural I am city girl I need city noise
My aunt used to live there before she died but I couldn't live there I need excitment

Well I forgot tell you while at work yesterday the Dad and Mom of your international news diva has got infamous RSV shot that the had outbreak last year only thing it effect my dad with sore arm today he is okay but he doing good
The doctor recommanded it they have get insuracnce approval I did make appt for them at their local CVS they go to they got 5 dollar coupon off it for both of them so next time mom and me go to shopping we used it just one of them later on we used other one
Now they are boosterd whatever

There are two cats here now, the black cat a male seems to be crazy in the head and the gray cat female seems normal.
Went to town today and got a new battery put in my truck, the guy was friendly and easy to talk to, he said I can leave off two welding tanks off at the back of the building and someone will get them and make good use out of them, I have no use for them, so I will do that next time I go to town.
I drifted through tonight Bible study, I was waiting for the gospel of John instead it was the book of Daniel, I tried listening but was doing other things like housework, I remember him saying not to be concerned about people seeing you fail and he gave an example that we knew about, how in the past his ministry was failing and people said to him to just give up but he said no he will keep trying and now it is all working out and people see a lesson in that.
I say with a final tally-ho, begin wading forward. lol
I am looking forward to the next talk within 48 hrs. a 3 hour talk about a i.

I can't believe it, but on Monday I spent 2 hours working in the gardens and Tuesday and Wednesday I spent 6 hours each day working in the gardens, and I'm not even quite halfway done!  I won't have time to do anymore work in them today because we have to take Chris to the doctors. So only indoor chores for today. But it was sure perfect weather for working outside the last few days!
Marlene, what has the crazy cat done that makes you say he's crazy? Just curious lol.

The cats are tumbling playing at my front door now, I threw some pizza crust out the door and they are eating that. That black cat is aggressive, it will bite and scratch and charge at me and get under my feet when I am walking so that I have to kick the cat forward out of my way and it runs back to go between my feet or in front of my feet, when the cat is around I have to look at my feet when I am walking. It is ok with me if they stay around as they keep mice away, but it they leave that is ok also.
I spend time with indoor herbs and sprouting. I heard that all grains will sprout, so I bought small bag of buckwheat and Elkhorn wheat to sprout doing that now and it looks like I won't try that again, not working, it could be the water here as it has trace amount of arsenic, so what I grow is good enough for me but does not look as good as what I see in videos that other people grow. I think I will end up grinding the grain to flour and cook it as flat bread instead of trying to sprout those. Only wheat berries sprout well for me.

Good morning, have a blessed day today.
Yesterday I saw the black cat balancing on the rim of a bucket and trying to reach down and get some water, so I put a dog bowl of water out back of home for them to get water, in the evening the three dogs stopped by to visit as usual and as usual I had my door to the home open. I did not know there was a skunk back there probably getting some water to drink and the dogs went back there and one of the dogs got skunked, I didn't know it until I saw that white dog scratching on the dirt to fluff up the dirt and then rubbed her face in the dirt, then I knew and smelled the skunk, then the dog rolled in the dirt and then she went to the water bucket and put her head in the water, then she went home. The inside of my home smelled bad for a few hours. I prayed for the dog I hope to see this evening that she is doing ok. A dog getting skunked could go blind. I once was at a vets office when a dog there had been skunked and went blind and the owner of the dog was crying.

yes, I saw the news she died, but I also did not think she would last too long. She seemed to have been going down hill rapidly. For that matter, I don't think President Biden is doing all that well either.
He is not nearly as far gone as Diane was, but he does seem to be slipping more and more quickly.

That cat does sound like it's crazy. It was good of you to put water out for all. That's awful about the dog getting skunked. I didn't know it could make them go blind. I sure hope the dog is ok!

I really dont know who actor who play Uncle Si dude had mannisms down LOL!
I think Phil Robertson has some trauma from his childhood got him boozing it up his mom I knew this Mama Robertson spent time in mental asylum back in da day you could see the Robertson like that way
I think Uncle Si went to Nam to escape Trauma he got the demons out by being in Nam he still crazy
He was addicted booze Phil was he became a wild demon when he was on sauce it redemption story how man come to Lord turn his life around

I heard someone say they believe that Michelle Obama will be the next pres. and Newsom the the vp, could be.and of course hillary will be mulling around.
I laughed at something I read, a man had said why he did not like this carrot juice that he had purchased, so being frugal and not wanting to waste food, he gave it to a homeless starving man. The homeless man was holding a cardboard sign saying hungry, anything helps. So he took him literally. The man was in front of a drug store and seemed happy to get it. So he made his purchase in the drug store, but when he exited, the homeless man was gone, but the man left the entire box of carrot juice. So he was perplexed. He thought if a starving homeless person does not want it, who does. He had not given up though. Right outside his yard was an emaciated coyote. He said he was going to give him a try.
I saw all three of the neighbor dogs today and they look healthy and the white dog is doing fine, looks like her normal self, thank the Lord.

Well, fall has begun here. Actually it's been happening in spurts this year. Up until yesterday it was fall here. As of yesterday, we're back to summer and it will be in the 80's until this coming Saturday. On Saturday the high is back down to the low 60's, which is where I like it!
That is a funny story about the carrot juice Marlene. I'm glad to hear that the white dog is ok too!
Kelly, what do you mean that an addict is using your username? Not here is it?

Yesterday evening the dogs chased the black cat, the cat went up a telephone poll, and had no choice but to jump onto the roof of my home and stayed there for awhile at night. Today things seemed strange around here, about noon I saw some cars were speeding in the area, at 4 I went outdoors and there was an indescribable smell in the air, like gear oil and plastic, at 6 the dogs were here and the cat under the old car, so now I have what is like splash guard the dogs had torn off of the bottom of the car. The hermit neighbor drove by to get his mail and looked at me, he did that because something is going on in the area, so I looked around and then saw 3 local fire trucks that drove down the road, I did not see any smoke and looked around then I could not see the neighbor house, an empty vacation home, so by the time I got to where there is a better view it was sunset and to dark to be able to see anything, in the morning I will drive down the road to see why the fire trucks were there.

I'm hoping we'll be able to take Chris in to the hospital for another paracentesis today. I don't know though.... he's been in a lot of pain from his back as well as from the build up of fluid in his abdomen. |

Yes the neighboring home burned down, it was an older 2 story A frame home, I didn't smell smoke because it was a windy day and I am upwind from the home, the only thing left is a brick foundation. There was a truck there when I drove by to look at it and the truck came toward me so I could not turn around in the driveway like I wanted to because it is a rough road but I got turned around on the other side of the road. Because no one lived there sometimes strangers came around the home so maybe that is why it burned or maybe the owner burned it for insurance, but I will never know.
