I love the story about the picture Marlene! I'd love to have that picture in my house. I'll have to see if I can find one. Maybe Amazon would have it....

Not in my area about masking I know in soome SO CAL town some school district even my mom told me that Cathoic church she goes she see elderly Asian wearing masks they are originaly from Japan and China so it cultural thingy I don't know about rest of SO CAL

I just realized there is Uber Eats online order food from a app. , that people on scooters deliver the food. Do you ever use Uber Eats? That is interesting to me, I live in a no service area, so I am just now realizing, I hear that it is a job that illegals can do in NY until they wait 6 months to be able to get a regular job. The illegals can not directly sign up to work for them but there is some kind of digital id set up that allows them to work. Seems like the old system of things and a new system are working side by side and only with the internet would I be able to see or understand the changes.

I dont know about other cities uber eats I Know they drive their own cars delieverd the food I not sure about other cities I rather get my food from fast food joint if I going order out I am not that lazy LOL!
It was really popular in my hood when pandemic was happening

It's such a nice day outside today... a day like our "normal" summer days where it gets hot in the afternoon, but the evenings and mornings are nice and cool! I hope you guys are having a nice day today too, whichever kind of day you prefer!
Here in Southern New Hampshire, we can order food from any of the three major grocery stores in our area and when it's ordered we then have a number of choices. We can either drive up to the store and they will bring it out and put it in our car, or we can have it delivered to our house. You have to have either a computer or smart phone to do that though. We've used it a couple of times in the past. I guess I'll have to start using it a lot more now that I'm having so much trouble and pain walking. We can also have our prescriptions delivered to our house from our local pharmacies, which is helpful too. However, I've never heard of anyone delivering groceries on a scooter here...I doubt they could as most orders would be a great deal to large for them to even consider carrying on a scooter.
I saw the doctor yesterday and she thinks my right shoulder area being numb is being caused by a pinched nerve. That's what I'd decided it had to be too, especially after I remembered that the morning it started, my neck was also hurting more than usual. (all due to sleeping sitting up.)
I don't remember if I told you my doctor ordered xrays of my back. She was shocked that it had deteriorated so much in a short time. But I reminded her it really wasn't a short time, that it had been heading this way for quite awhile now. When it came time for me to have the x-rays of my back done yesterday, I'd hoped I'd be able to get them to let me stand up for them. But as soon as the tech saw me and before I could say anything, he said he was going to have me stand up for the xrays as he wouldn't even consider making me lay down for them. I was very grateful for that. While it hurt to stand up, laying down would have hurt a lot more, especially having to lay on a hard table. He probably would have had to carry me out of them afterward LOL. They also included an xray of my shoulder just to make sure nothing was wrong there. I feel better knowing that it really is most likely a pinched nerve though.
Well, time to get my chores done! Have a wonderful day everyone! And keep looking up because Jesus could come for us any time now! It's so exciting to realize we could be going Home any time. It makes me have a huge smile on my face all the time, just thinking about it!

I would be so happy to be raptured from this earth soon, if it happens the way most people believe it will happen, but I am expecting to die first. I just finished watching a video of what happens when a person dies, we are spirits in a body for now going where the body goes but some day the our spirit will be free from the body. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

I'm for sure looking forward to the rapture or the death of this body, whichever comes first. I am doing my best to believe the rapture can happen at any moment because I want to live my life believing that I could turn around or just turn my head and see Jesus at any second during the day. Just like the first believers actually did see Him. They never knew when He would show up or where. It might be when they're walking down a road (like when He showed up to the two disciples going to Emmaus) or when they're working, (like when the disciples were fishing) or eating, or any other activity, or simply relaxing at the end of the day in a locked room LOL. So I try hard to make myself believe that I could see Him at any instant. That means I need to get busy then as I have a lot to do today!

I do too I alao had Snoopy as stuffed animal LOL! I carry Snoopy everywhere I went he used sleep with me hey I was only 2 years old okay LOL! I used to have a black pound puppy stuffed animal. I miss it. |

Cindy that was so beautiful and uplifting...we might turn around and see Jesus. I too am ready to go any time the Lord says....it would be beyond compare to be with Him forever. What peace, joy, love etc.

Well it really quiet next door in Fairfax distirct Yom Kippur going start on Sunday night it been quiet in North Hollyweird I was really watching Football yesterday I check out headlines see what up
BTW there might be good news look like writer strike might be settle now they have work on actor strike Hollyweird next to do list dont' be suprise if you get some show in NOvember of this year there going be less show order for this season like 10 or 15 episodes

Howdy, I have been doing some repairs around the home and truck and still have more to do.
I would think in this modern day and age that Hollweird actors would not be needed, they could create for cheap younger looking look alike with cgi.
Do you know about wireless Internet or do you use wireless Internet. I just found out about it as it is just now being offered in my area, don't know how well it works because I have not heard anyone opinion on it yet. I use a wire router now. Do you know if schools and businesses use wireless routers? I will continue with what I have until it quits working as the price for both is about the same.
I bought some habanero hot pepper sauce, I like it.

I started using Wi-Fi years ago Marlene. In fact, that's all everyone I know uses. It's really nice because i can take my tablet or kindle with me when we have to take Chris to the ER or any appointment at any hospital or clinic and they will automatically hook into that hospitals public Wi-Fi. Of course the same is true with most restaurants, etc. Then when we get home, it will automatically hook into our Wi-Fi. The only thing I would suggest is that you set a password for your Wi-Fi making it private so that others can't hook into it. Private Wi-Fi is Wi-Fi that's locked to outsiders because it's password protected. Most places that are public, like hospitals and restaurants have public Wi-Fi that everyone can use. Your computer, tablet, kindle or phone will show your Wi-Fi as well as any others near you. You'll see a locked symbol on all the private ones and an unlocked symbol on the public ones. It's funny because I had to learn all this the hard way, but now it's second nature to me. I found this which might be helpful too:

I also have wi fi I could do stuff for work from my tablet and through my home computer I could watch movie on Amazon Fire tv too watch old shows my brother think I am geek since I watch Rockford Files and Little House on the prairie LOL!

Well the big news out of SO CAL is that yess writer strike might be over but actors still striking they make work out deal now since writer back in biz tell you one thing people that work in Hollyweird and close by are quoting Phil Robertson happy happy happy
Speaking of that I am going see the Blind the movie about Phil Robertson my church score some ticket we may go as group on Friday night to local movie theatre I just want see actor who play Uncle Si I hear that dude was spot on on Uncle Si might be nomintee for Oscar LOL!

It's finally stopped raining here. People were beginning to think that talk about something called "the sun" was just a myth!  But seriously, it's a beautiful day today. The high is supposed to be 60. I'm going to go work in the gardens some more. I have some more tulips and daffodils to plant.
This is not a good day for posting though because I thought of something I really wanted to talk about last night, but now I can't remember what it was!  If the Lord brings it to my mind, I'll write it down this time!
