I been busy everybody in my school district are officially end or got test postive with Covid 19 in certain area have be at home quarantine thank god the school I work at is not
We did deep cleaning thoughout the summer now the part of the school year
BTW I going have next Friday and Monday off for Labour day weekend it all good

I have to share this with you. I hope you'll take the time to listen to it as it tells us from scripture, what's happening in our country and in the world, and what we can and can't do about it. give it at least 5 minutes. I'm pretty sure that will be long enough to cause you to want to keep listening lol. I'm preparing to explain it all to my grandchildren. I know this will help them understand why kids are going crazy (literally) and thinking they're not male or female, or that they're transgender or homosexual etc.
I'm going to attempt to clean my carpets today. They're in desperate need of it. So we bought a new machine last Sunday but because it's been humid and pouring rain ever since, I haven't been able to do them yet. That's finally over though, so today I start! Please pray that I'll be able to do it, even if it's only a little at a time. Thanks everyone!

Well today is minium day for the kids so i got off early what happening
BTW I asking my neighbor son when the slipper socks at Walgreens going be on sale he told me probably in my area around Mid September I need couple pairs where my computer is at it hardwood floors in the house get cold in the morning and evening

Is your carpet clean now Cindy, any little bit you do is helpful and soon it will be all cleaned. I have been mowing grass and still have more to mow both with the riding mower and the push mower. I ate to much food today, I never do that, but I quickly felt kinda ill after being outdoors in the sun today, I ate 3/4 of a newmans own pizza, those are good pizzas.
I never did buy slipper socks, but I want to try them so maybe I will remember to buy some for this winter.
Well this was my last day with pastor Scott and the online fellowship with a few others. He has been looking for a place to live, thought he had a nice place in the country with his own private road going to a mobile home, but nothing has worked out,so he does have an rv and they will live in the rv and have to move around the area. His wife does work at a job, yesterday he was using a drill and holding a board and the screw drilled right into his finger.Well I can adjust my schedule for more reading, I want to read more and be online less, though being online has been a blessing for me, it is time to make this change and do what mc arthur said to do about bible study, I am going to do that study with the book of ephesians.

Cindy, if I reply to a pastor in an online group or email or in person is it commonly know proper manners to say the word pastor before saying his name and also to pastor wife or pastor mom when talking to or about them that are his family?
Maybe that just depends on the pastor's preference, which should be respected. idk.

I'm sorry to hear about your Pastor Scott, although I don't understand why he's quitting. That's too bad about his finger. My husband did that once at work. Not a good thing to do. Using MacArthur's method...do you mean reading it 30 times?

Unless the pastor's wife or mother is also a pastor, you shouldn't put Pastor directly before their names. I hope that helps. |

It has been 18 years since I have even seen a drug store and that long ago that I was in a Walgreens store in NE. We do the dollar stores now, seems like that somewhat replaced drug stores, our dollar store is always half empty.
Pastor Scott did broadcast live from his home to mixlr, for 8 years, so that takes electricity to do that, for now he is camping out with his mom and wife, he may any day get a place to live and have electricity again and go back to broadcasting and singing. I did like to listen to him sing. I will keep checking with mixlr, if he goes back then so will all the regulars that show up, they will be there also. We all know whatever happens is the will of the Lord. He likes to go fishing so I hope he gets rest and gets to have adventure and go fishing and spend quality time with his family.
Yes I will follow the basic idea of the 30 day reading plan, though I have choosen to spend more time in the book of choice and reading one chapter at a time for many days. It is not easy for me to do, I struggle with that and that has made me see in myself how undiciplined I am, I will continue with this and already have been blessed by doing so.

About the dollar store Anna:
Our daughter is the manager of the dollar tree where I live.
As I am sure you are aware of,
the number of people willing to work,
is like finding hen's teeth!
She ought to have in her store a 'MINIMUM' of:
5 cashiers, 2-3 assistant managers, 3-5 stockers, 2-3 strong guys to unload the trucks.
But a few weeks ago, she came to work,
and the 'only' person working was
her.....
Not 'one' employee chose to come to work
that day!
Oh and she is not a mean, hard to get long with manager
she is actually very sweet, kind, fun, etc.
As manager, she actually has all manner of office work etc.
that she does,
that nobody else knows how to do.
Well eventually, she was able to get one cashier to waltz in.
Last Monday,
there was a big truck coming that had to be unloaded
and she did have a cashier....
Sooooo she unloaded the whole truck herself,
some of those boxes are very very heavy....thus the need for big strong guys!
( she is not a big burly guy but that is what you do as manager).
So she also stocked all the stuff off the truck
( and was there from 7 in the morning to 10 at night
double shifts are her new work hours, and 7 days a week)....
Not what the original manager job was supposed to be!
She was supposed to.... back in the good ole days...
get 2 days off a week
but she did get yesterday off finally
Actually had enough workers yeah!
But she has only 2 assistant managers
and
one of them put in his 2 week notice
And so it goes, in this new world :(
All of that so you know why shelves are only half full...
I am sure all the other stores are under the same problem.
We heard from a friend, about a manager at Safeway here
He had a major breakdown in the store
screaming he could no longer do the job, he needed workers!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well he did have some workers ( not like Hossanah that one day, with zero workers)
But still...
and we heard about another manager at Wallmart,
She just quit......because she had nobody to work there.
I guess its a sign of the times
many no longer have a work ethic,
they also can make 'more' money staying home
so they figure why work?
But then,
by doing that ( staying home, making more money)
they will go to stores
with empty shelves!

I have a family friend that work at Walmart it is hard get applicant she is shift leader some of millnual told her in the face why should I get work I get stilmnus money from Sacramento and DC

You know what alot of people doing they are not going to grocery store they going through Shopmart or Ralphs.com one of grocery shopping app have the grocery and stuff delieery come into time when there nothing at warehouse they can't get workers

I wish I could do free pick up at the nearest grocery stores, I tried to sign up for that but it did not work, I think because my address and zip code are from to far away, anyways on Wednesday I will be picking up groceries from the back of a semi truck lol, with mennonite women, at the railroad tracks. I have to leave early in the morning because if road is flooded I will have to turn around and travel the long way to the tracks, if the road is not flooded then I will arrive early and have to sit and wait in my car, that reminds me I think I will bring a book to read if that happens. If mennonite women are there early also, they won't talk, they keep to themselves, they are like mousy quiet, but that is ok at least they are not aggressive and they are all as skinny as a stick, makes me feel self conscious about my weight.
Talk about safeway store breakdowns, two weeks ago I was there at 7:30 in the morning, arrive early hoping things would be calm, but it was not. One employee said something to another one, right when I was standing by them doing my shopping, and one guy shouted that he wanted to fight the man, " Right here, right now!" I had to turn and go down the nearest isle and three other people were there standing in the isle just waiting, I think deciding if they want to leave the store or stay shopping.
I have noticed that when I go to the dollar store or grocery store that there are mostly men doing the shopping in the store.
Barbra, Ron walked by when I am typing this and I told him about your daughter's work conditions and he replied that if your daughter keeps unloading the trucks then they won't need a strong man to unload the truck, I laughed, he was just kidding.
I once at a temp job helped a Jamaican man unload boxes from a truck. The guy liked to dance, they are good dancers.

Hi guys! I'm afraid Ron is more right then he knows Marlene. Now days, companies that find out that a worker will do x y and z even though "it's not their job" instead of thanking and rewarding them for helping the company through hard times, will instead just continue to allow that person to do x y and z without a pay raise or thanks and without continually trying to hire someone else. They figure that saves them money, so why not.
And then you have other companies who refuse to fire people who abuse them by not showing up to work, or not doing their job when they're at work. They're so afraid of not being able to fill the position that they allow their employees to get away with everything and anything. Where Bruce works, one of the guys there constantly does drugs and his job suffers greatly because of it.He even talks back to his boss, But they won't fire him. Another guy, also a druggie, kept constantly taking pictures with his phone while he was at work, and hardly did any work at all. He did this literally for years and when he was told to stop, and to do his job, he'd tell them that if he was fired he'd sent the pictures to OSHA. His father worked there too and had finally been fired a couple of weeks earlier. Since no one knew what pictures he'd taken, he had them all scared. Finally one day he just up and left and turned all his pictures into OSHA. OSHA called the company about the pictures and they had a big laugh because all the pictures he'd taken only showed how he and his father had broken the rules and did things they shouldn't have, but that the company itself was doing well! So they found out they'd let this guy and his father get away with murder for no reason at all. I'd hope they'd realize they could fire people who didn't do their jobs and who came to work high and got high on the job, but apparently not.
From what I've heard many companies suffer from the same things and all have the problem of finding enough people to keep the company working.

I wonder how Eva from Greece is doing, I was reading what Barbra wrote in Bible study and remembered her. I will say a prayer for her. People come and go from our memories, nothing stays the same, things are always changing while we are here on this earth, which is not our home.
With the extra rainfall we have had this year there also came extra wild growing flowers, it has been a blessing to have been able to see the flowers everyday.

Marlene, I was thinking about Eva the other day too! I sure hope she's doing well and is enjoying life. How are you doing?
We had a good weekend. I learned something that surprised me yesterday. I made a pot roast for supper for us and my daughter Jennifer and her family. Jenn told me that it was her favorite meal that I made when she was growing up. Her second favorite was the same as all my kids, and that's the broccoli pie I made  (that's my grandkids favorite too!)

Two days ago I saw tarantulas here, only see them for a few days then not anymore and yesterday there were butterflies to look at, that was special because I don't get to see butterfiles, I will see if they are around today or not.
I thought about you when the rain storm hit NY, hoping you were doing ok. I hope you get an instant pot for a Christmas gift. lol They are nice to use, though I would never cook beans in any pressure cooker, I have been making soups and I am making one now and will freeze half of what I make.
I am doing well;counting my blessings.

So if he don't succeed that mean they wait till 2022 get somebody stronger
