Sorry for the loss you feel,  one of my dogs just died, I wish I could have gotten him to the vet sooner because he suffered at the end. Had a friend a few years ago that had a dog and the dog got confused and walked out onto the highway and was hit by a car and died. |

I'm so sorry to hear about Oombi. I know how much that hurts!
I told Bruce what you said last night and he surprised me. He's afraid of having you visit because you've been around so many different people all over the US. So it looks like we'll have to pass this time. I'm really sorry as I was looking forward to getting to visit with you.

 our new grand! Ain’t she adorable!? it’s ok Cindy, with this losing Oombi an all, it took much of our time here anyways. We haven’t seen Rons old friend yet either! Prayerfully that will happen today. Friday we head for Maine. |

Yup, I got your message.
yup we went out to supper last night! With Carl and his daughter, Lynette! Haven’t seen her since she was about 11! Now she’s 45! 😳
we had a very nice supper and fellowship! It was wicked good! Hanging out tonite with a fire 🔥 at the campground . It’s been trying to rain most the day. But it’s been a beautiful day.

Wow! Between 11 and 45 is a very long time lol! I'm glad you all were able to get together. 
I know you must miss Oombi terribly.  (Marlene, I'm sorry to hear about your dog too!)
It rained all day yesterday here and I guess it's supposed to rain a little bit this afternoon too and pour all day tomorrow. Time to get some rubber boots

Oh Lulu so sorry about your kitty.
That is the one thing I hate about pets...
they just don't live that long and we miss them so.
Each time, I say...I am done....NO MORE PETS!
And then....
a stray come waltzing into our yard
and cons us
and there we go again
We just don't learn.
But the pain of losing them, is always severe.
I feel so sad for you.
I will pray that God will comfort you.

 I do miss her, it is hard, but I’ve never been without a cat, I have never said “no more pets!” so I’m sure our Lord will have His way! thanks for your ❤️! Marlene ❤️ And 🙏 for your loss as well 😢 |

I will have to stay flexible as I've been unwell these last several weeks. It's nothing contagious, but have had pain in my right side that hasn't been diagnosed. They sent me for a scan yesterday so I'm waiting on results.
You'll be arriving in NC on Monday? |

I say no more pets because it seems the pain of losing them, only increases with time.
I am now 76. It also seems the pets get more precious so the pain feels more painful.
Fat lot of good it does to say no more pets anyway.
God keeps sending them our way....so that is that!
I am not big on pain, and loss.
But the little ones, need someone to love and care for them....so trying to protect myself,from pain, is a losing battle.
I think you are braver than me Lulu :)

 Mace hanging out by the campfire with us!  at least 40 airstreams came in yesterday, with more to come today! Should be close to 300 in all! 😳🤣 |
