THE WORLD LIVE by earthTV® - camera partner showcase version That is so awesome kelly! thanks so much for sharing it! It's extra neat for me as I got to see a number of places I've been to and enjoyed. I shared it on facebook too, thanks!

And now today is rainy....of course ( Pacific Northwest Coast, and all that) LOL
And it's adding to the tired sleepiness sigh! Well, I'm glad you got some sleep for a few nights anyway. Hopefully you'll sleep well tonight. I slept well last night thankfully.
Instead of rain, we have snow, just like my good morning graphic.
AccuWeather forecasters are warning people across the Northeast to "buckle up" for a winter storm that could drop an AccuWeather Local StormMax™ of 36 inches in some areas. Follow along here for the latest updates on the developing storm across the region.
Monster nor’easter making its way into Boston area AccuWeather radar showed the monster nor’easter crawling up the Eastern Seaboard beginning to impact the Boston area late Monday morning.
Winds remain a concern as potent nor'easter crawls up the coast AccuWeather meteorologists are warning that as the nor'easter strengthens through Monday night, strong winds will blast the mid-Atlantic and New England coasts. Winds will gust 40 to 50 mph, with an AccuWeather Local StormMax™ of 65 mph, expected. Strong winds will continue into Monday and Monday night from the New Jersey coast to the southern New England coast, including Long Island, forecasters say.
Those are all excerpts from here: www.accuweather.com/en/winter-weather/live-news/live-updates-on-noreaster-bringing-heavy-snow-to-northeastern-us/891967
I thought it might be fun to check out the farmers almanac and see if they were forecasting a big snowstorm for now...
Remember last year’s almost snow-free winter in the Northeast? Well, this year our prediction is very different, with the possibility of a blizzard hitting the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast states during the second week of February. This storm may bring up to 1-2 feet of snow to cities from Washington, D.C. to Boston, Massachusetts! www.farmersalmanac.com/extended-forecast
They sure are close, just a week off is all! (they did this forecast months ago!) Now I'll check their weekly forecast for the Northeast:
February 1st - 3rd
Turning unusually mild, with scattered showers, possible thunderstorm.
4th - 7th
Turning much colder. Storm moving north along Mid-Atlantic Coast brings significant snowfall.
8th - 11th
Lingering clouds, scattered flurries.
12th - 15th
Blizzard conditions Northeast Corridor, with 1 to 2 foot accumulations possible. Scattered flurries farther inland.
Well, it looks like they were a week off for this storm, but it looks like they're saying another big storm is coming around the 12th as well!
Oh guess what??? Did I tell you that both of our vehicles died two weeks ago, and I mean to where the one isn't worth repairing and the other Bruce might be able to fix, but not until this spring. It's just a very old beat up truck that he got to play with lol. Well, he bought us a very nice 2008 white Jeep Patriot that only has 85,000 miles on it for $2,500! He was supposed to bring it home after work today, but with this storm dumping a couple of feet of snow on us, he decided to wait till tomorrow. But at least we have a vehicle now! Thank you so much Lord!!!!
Jenn and her family came over last night and we had a blast playing yahtzee! I love it when they're here. We have such a good time. Last night Jennifer, Grace and I were all laughing so hard and couldn't stop.
Every time we'd think we might be able to stop, as soon as we'd see one of the others, it would start all over again. The guys thought we were all going crazy! Laughter must really be the best medicine, because while I was in pain, I felt really good! (I know that doesn't make sense, but that's the truth! LOL) I can't even remember what was so funny, only that we couldn't stop laughing lol.

Ron once talked to Tony Bennett at the restaurant Monk's Vineyard in St. Augustine FL. He saw Tony and said to him that he had seen his face before but could not put a name to the face then Tony said, I am Tony Bennett...he said he would like to also have his picture put on the wall of the restaurant as there were pictures of actor and actress on the wall, Ron suggested that he send a picture to the restaurant and then they would put the picture on the wall also.

We have a ton of snow now and it's still coming. Bruce hurt his back shoveling this morning so he could go to work, which made it so he couldn't go to work! I went out to finish some more of it and had to wade through snow that was just about up to my knees. I'm sure it will be over my knees by the time it's over.
That's a neat story about Tony Bennet Marlene.
Hope you all have a wonderful day.

I didn't get much sleep last night, again, so I'm kind of out of it. Sorry guys. It's so beautiful here.... just looking over the top of my monitor out the window at all the snow covered trees. It looks so peaceful.
Ever since I was a little girl, whenever I saw snow it reminded me of this verse in Isaiah: ““Come now, let us reason together,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.” (Isaiah 1:18) When fall came I thought the trees were putting on their most colorful clothes so they would look their best as they worshipped God together. It reminded me of another verse in Isaiah, “You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.” (Isaiah 55:12) and this one as well: “let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them. Then all the trees of the forest will sing for joy; they will sing before the LORD, for he comes, he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in his truth.” (Psalm 96:12–13)
All my life I've thought of those verses when I look out at the trees. Sometimes it seemed like I could almost hear them praising the Lord!
