Anna the virus IS an airborne contagion. It’s not the only way to contract it, but it is airborne. And yes, as always, our Lord is in control!

Hi everyone
Weve gone from inferno to pestilence now. One Christian who was openly persecuted for repeating Gods word about homosexuals said the fires were a result of Australia endirsing homosexuality through same sex marriage.
Perhaps the earth is now being judged in a way, before the final of armageddon.
We have pestilence and even those previously hostile to Christianity in my office have gone quiet.
Ive been gollowing the official medical bulletins out of Italy, and there is a 10-20% death rate for people over 60 but closer to 20% for 80+
In italy anyone sick over 80 is turned away at the hospital in the badly overwhelmed areas.
You are much more likely to die if you have a pre existing medical condition, mostly high blood pressure or diabetes.
This thing looks like a bioweapon as it easily is contagious in air and survives 2 days on surfaces. Its 3x more contagious and 4x more deadly than normal flu, mostly for those over 60.
God is in control. Exercise wisdom and dont put yourself in harms way though.
Have a month worth of food etc and find a quiet spot and wait it out. Probably will take 6 months. Buy a gun.
Yes Minister is good...very accurate too.
Steve

Glad to have helped Marlene! I'm so very proud of my daughter, Jennifer. Every day since this whole thing started, she's gone to work. She works at a local grocery store. I so appreciate the folks that work in the grocery stores and pharmacies. If they weren't willing to put themselves and their families at risk, no one would be able to get food or medicine. And her husband has very severe asthma, as has Elijah, although his has gotten better thank the Lord. Still, she trusts the Lord to protect her and her family and does what she's called to do. She knows that doesn't mean that her family is safe from the virus, it just means that the Lord will be with them no matter what happens. So she continues to show His love and her trust in Him to all who cross her path.
We've been exposed to the virus twice already, at least that we know of anyway. Both times it was from someone that was at Bruce's work. The first time turned out to be bogus. The guy only had a cold. Just shows how scared many people are. But last Tuesday's was real and has been confirmed. That guy tested positive for the virus. He was basically healthy however and was barely bothered by it. To him it wasn't worse then having a cold. I'll see if I can find the interview they did with him for you guys.
We really should have expected something like this. After all we've seen the huge rise in sin and how people are basically thumbing their nose at God. Well, this is His answer to that. Not just to punish, but to try and get their attention so they'll repent and turn to Him. Sadly, it's highly unlikely anyone will repent.
“You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near.” (James 5:8)

New Ipswich man who tested positive for coronavirus shares story
A New Ipswich man who tested positive for the COVID-19 coronavirus is recovering at home this week.
Jalen Rines, 25, of New Ipswich visited Florida with his family the week of Feb. 21-29, flying into Palm Beach and making a stop in Orlando before returning home via Logan Airport.
Rines said he was fine and symptom-free for about two weeks after he returned to New Hampshire, but on Friday, March 13, he started suffering from what felt like the common cold – a light headache and cough and mild fatigue.
“Basically I had the cold come on and that’s when it clicked,” Rines said, “and I knew I was starting to get sick.”
By Sunday night, Rines said his lungs started to feel “full of junk,” and his shortness of breath and fatigue intensified.
“Even going up the stairs would wind me,” Rines said.
His symptoms were checking a few of the coronavirus boxes, but not all of them, as he didn’t have a fever; nonetheless, he visited the Convenient MD urgent care facility in Nashua to get tested for what he assumed was another bout of bronchitis, which he’d suffered in the past.
The turnaround on the test is four to five days, so Rines left with an inhaler to treat his shortness of breath and returned home to wait it out.
His symptoms all but went away – “After two days of my lungs feeling like crap, it was basically over,” Rines said – but a few days later, he got a call from the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services telling him that he’d indeed tested positive for the coronavirus.
“I thought if I had it, I would definitely know,” Rines said, “but it just varies so far that any little sickness you have could possibly be it.” “There’s people that are walking around completely fine that have it and it’s like, what do you do?” www.ledgertranscript.com/New-Ipswich-man-tests-positive-for-COVID-19-coronavirus-33460253 I'll have to remember to delete this post within a week or so, as I've copied more then I should have....
What I love about this, is that in the past, for many centuries, whenever there was a horribly contagious disease, like the black plague, or whatever it was, it was the real Christians that went out in it and took care of the other people who were sick. And today it's the same way. We're the ones checking on our neighbors, making sure everyone has whatever they need and getting it for them if they don't. We're the ones taking care of those who are sick at home and need help.
We can show others that we're not afraid of catching this disease, because we know that the Lord is the one who is in control and that He won't let anything happen to us that He won't use for our good. And if our body dies (because we won't die!) it's just a body and we won't need it anymore as the Lord has a brand new one for us! I'm not saying we should do anything stupid for no reason, but if we need to go shopping, then go without worry. If we need to take care of a neighbor, then do so, without worry. People will want to know why we aren't afraid and how we can be so happy even during a time like this. Then we can share the gospel with them! We can do that and more because we know the Lord has us covered!

Hi all,
Lulu tell Matt congrats! She's a real cutie!
This virus thing is now in the valley I live in. Its two counties over but I wouldn't be surprised if its officially in my county in the next few days. Funny thing is this valley is 122 miles east to west and the county its in is way over west and a little town waaaay over to the east has put in a shelter in place order from 8pm to 6am for the next few weeks. I'm inbetween the two. We're doing okay. No one is allowed into my work but staff and necessary medical people. All the doors are locked and we have to ring the doorbell to be let in. Which is good as the average age of our residents is right around 90. We also have quite a few staff that are susceptible.
Chelsea had to go to school today as they are getting everything together for the long distance/online learning. She may or may not have to go in tomorrow. They were having teachers going in at specific times Like the middle school and high school teachers in the morning and elementary and specials (art, music, special ed, etc) in the afternoon. But today the governor ordered everyone to cut their workforce by half except for things like medical, and essential businesses. So even though they are doing half the staff at a time, they are all there at some point during the day plus the janitors are there all day for sanitizing and cleaning. If she does have to work then I'm going in to work late as I'll be watching EJ til Stan gets home. He's still the breakfast cook on first floor at my work.
EJ is doing really well. His grades have improved a lot over the year. This past quarter he had an A, 2 B's and a C so he's doing good.
Hope all of you are well.

What an awesome blessing for Matt and his wife and for you and Ron too! God is so very good to us! Remember this graphic that Marianne made for Bek's first baby shower that we gave her on FH? That sure is a beautiful name they gave her too. And she sure was a big baby! I'm glad mine were no where near that size! My biggest baby was my second born, Michael and he was just barely 7 pounds. That's sad you haven't been able to see Jazzy because of this corona virus. I sure hope you'll be able to see her soon. She must be excited to have a new baby sister too!

Bless your heart for continuing to work and serve the residents there. You're earning jewels for your crown as the saying goes!
My daughter got informed yesterday that today they're going to have plastic shields around the cashiers. I'm sure that's at least better then nothing which is what they've had up till now. I'll have to ask her if the shields will cover the bagger too as the note she read me didn't say anything about that. But so far the Lord has kept Jenn, Bob, Elijah and Grace healthy. Bob is also going to work daily. He works at a factory, but I can't remember what they make there. I think it's some kind of medical stuff though.
The guys at Bruce's work were really angry about that article I posted for you guys. They were angry because it could be a bunch of lies, as he was at the place Bruce works last Tuesday and came from his work, which is the opposite of what he said in the article. Rumor has it that they informed the newspaper that he way lying about at least some of what he said which makes the rest suspect too. I'm curious to find out what they'll do if anything. I don't think I posted the part that they know was lies, as he told the paper he'd stayed home since finding out he was sick on the 15th. But he was at his own job the next week and at Bruce's work on both the 17th and 19th and was obviously very sick. But he had already touched stuff and gotten in 3 people's faces before they could make him leave. Bruce saw him and saw that he got into one of the guys faces that works for him and who he's around constantly. (Bruce runs one of the shops, so he's the boss) They've cleaned the shops and the 4 people who were in close contact with him are staying home for 2 weeks (unpaid), but since Bruce wasn't in close contract with him, but only with they guy that works for him, he can still go to work. They're all keeping 6 feet away from each other too, which should help. But it looks like Bruce is going to be ok as he's still symptom free.
The weather here has been so nice lately...actually in the 50's and 60's....till yesterday when it got cold again. Then last night we got a bunch of snow. We woke up to 8 inches of heavy wet snow. But praise God it's melting fast!

We had someone test positive, in my county, yesterday. About 60 miles away, that county has the highest positive in the entire state of Kentucky. It's really not looking too promising for the folks around here. I just hope and pray they've made their peace with our Lord, and accepted him, because not everyone will fare well, if they contract this virus. I may live in the Bible Belt, but there are too many who don't follow Him, and for some that I know..........not even this will make them realize He is Lord. Even though I work for the state and our agency is considered crucial, the workers are telecommuting, and we are down to 2 people in our offices, including myself. After tomorrow, is another story, because things are changing by the minute. I don't know where I will be after tomorrow.

Our daughter Hossanah is the manager of a dollar tree 2 towns over ( she has to drive there each day but it only takes about 15 minutes)
Anyway, they are doing a booming business, because they have food, various OTC medicines, etc etc.
However, about 6 of her employees quit as they were over 60. So yesterday she hired 4 more, but will need to hire another 2 or 3 because they are soooooo busy busy.
In fact, we will be taking her to work today, ( because she is closing so does not go in until 2 in the afternoon). We will pick up a few things while there.
But like Cindy's daughter, she is taking a risk also and has 2 children with asthma...tho I don't think Devon has had to use the nebulizer in a year or 2.
The weird thing is...none of the little towns on our Oregon coast has any person infected with the virus...... yet.....
But.....
Last weekend it was bumper to bumper cars of people from Portland etc. coming to the coast.....
Actually, now all our little towns ( plus even our super liberal democratic governor) has banned that ( for now).
That might sound totally unfair
But the two reasons are:
We only have a few tiny tiny hospitals here ( many with only 20 beds...IF that many each???)
And almost every coastal town has a majority of older folks....
I think I just read that Manzanita has 800 local residents and that over 90% are 60 or older. Seaside has maybe 6,000 plus residents but also many are older.
Before school shut down, Devon got his 2 semester grades....this time he made all A's. And to think a few years back they were thinking he was a slow learner....he is now above grade level in everything.
In fact, last year he was chosen to read his short story in Portland, for young and upcoming authors LOL
We remain at peace knowing this has not taken God by surprise....and in fact, may be just a little preview of end times.

So sweet of the Lord to send us a precious little blessing in the midst of so much chaos! Thank you so much for sharing this with us.
It sure is incredible Lulu; but on the other hand, the unselfishness of fellow Christians serving others is also off the chart which makes me feel so blessed. I just hope I can help someone through this time too. I did help my girlfriend but it was just by being a listener when she called me. Her sister has had cancer for several years and she died Friday, so my friend was pretty broken up over it. So to me that doesn't count as it didn't have anything to do with the virus and didn't put me at risk in any way. It's kind of funny, but I want so badly to serve the Lord in a sacrificial way, but no matter how hard I look for a way to do so, I can't find any. I can find plenty of ways that aren't sacrificial and do take those opportunities, but I really wish I could find some way to give or help sacrificially too. Am I just plain crazy or what?

I've been very shocked and surprised that neither of us got it when we were exposed this last time.
Oh Jenn didn't get that plastic shield yesterday after all. It was supposed to have been delivered last night though so hopefully she has it now.
Get ready friends! (hey, that reminds me... do you remember the song "People get ready"?
People get ready There's a train a-coming You don't need no baggage You just get on board All you need is faith To hear the diesels humming Don't need no ticket You just thank the Lord
People get ready For the train to Jordan Picking up passengers From coast to coast Faith is the key Open the doors and board them There's room for all Among the loved the most
There ain't no room For the hopeless sinner Who would hurt all mankind just To save his own Have pity on those Whose chances are thinner Cause there's no hiding place From the Kingdom's Throne
So people get ready For the train a-comin' You don't need no baggage You just get on board! All you need is faith To hear the diesels humming Don't need no ticket You just thank, you just thank the Lord
