Good Morning all! I can't believe it's Christmas Eve!Well good morning I getting over stomach virus pretty bad you laughing oN Decades tv binge marathon you want throw up LOL! while watching Beverly Hillbilles last Friday that my last day of work for this year so I kick back try get over this so called virus I really binge watch Light tv network start by Roma Downey and her hubby Mark Bunnett of Survivor exec fame www.lighttv.comLast couple days it been rain off and even heavy rain I'm glad you're getting over it so you won't be sick on Christmas. I hope you have a wonderful day celebrating the Lord's birth!Yes, Cindy - it is good to continue to show the house even if we have a contract on it. We know that these buyers have qualified for the loan and are still interested. But I have heard of cases where the buyers didn't qualify for a loan or they just backed out for whatever reason. Then other potential buyers have missed seeing your house if it's been taken off the market. I don't mind it at all. Rainy and cooler here. Our kids/grandkids/2 granddogs will be here on Sunday morning. Our son will help us move next Friday. But we have hired a moving company for the furniture. I see, that certainly makes sense. Hopefully you'll soon have new owners for your house for sure. That's great you're able to get a moving company and family to help you move. That will help make it a lot easier I'm sure.oh that is funny Cindy!! I wonder what we were doing in the dream?! Much love everyone! Merry Christmas.. I'll be busy the next couple days.. like everyone here.. so I wanted to send my love :) I wish I knew. lol. The only other thing I seem to remember is that we were very busy doing something.... Christmas through different eyes Christmas these days is seen in a very different way. Through older, wiser, tired eyes. Losing family, watching as others die. Heart breaking, for those closest To our loved ones, saying goodbye, Yet knowing deep inside Where that wisdom hides Although the pain of the heart Never departs ones soul, Life will go on, slowly But surely it gets easier When ones been sick For a long long time Knowing they are in a much Better place in a new body And are feeling fine, Watching over us left behind Grow stronger, Body, soul and mind. The true meaning of Christmas Is eternal life, a Christmas gift From above, where once again We will see and hug the ones We have lost and loved. Yup I see Christmas these days Through very different eyes… Lulu That's beautifully said Lulu. Bless your heart!
I hope you all have a great day today and that you're all ready for Christmas tomorrow!

Merry Christmas everyone!Just having a quiet moment before the chaos, lol.Good chaos. Steven came over and woke me at 7:30!3&1/2 hours sleep. All their presents are in Larrys' closet.Robin and Steven are going to finish their shopping and then come back and me and Robin and Karen are going to wrap until we are silly. But first,I have to shower and do dishes and make bed. Also,Cody has infected sores on her belly side and it is getting worse and I may lose her. Please pray for her.I know it hurts her but animals don't show pain.Ok that is too sad for this week-end . Christmas is here!We all got eternal life for Christmas, with Jesus! How awesome is that?Best present ever and given with more love than any of us ever dreamed of.May Jesus ,the Son of God, ban all stress, pain ,and depression from all His childrens homes and keep the Spirit of love throughout the world. Love from my house to yours,Ruthanne

There has been a battle going on
Between my heart and head
The heart says, love, forgive…
The head says, don’t enable
Don’t just roll over and play dead.
This battle I did not chose
It wasn’t fought gracefully
But with a Strong Holy Spirit
I did not lose.
It takes a toll on ones soul
When you are pitted against
Others you love. neighbors, kids, husband
Dog, and even the Lord
Himself.
The heart wants to follow
His teaching, but when
Another mistreats you, and
You find their words hollow
Then the head kicks in
And the battle begins.
The heart still wants
To show love and give in
But in my case the head
See what’s happening and
My hair stands on end.
I will not be anyone’s victim
I will not roll over and play dead
My Holy Spirit is strong
Within me, I hear and listen
To His vice.
But when another doesn’t
Listen to the one who lives
Inside their heart
That’s their choice.
This battle I did not chose
I will always stand strong
For my family, neighbors and
Even my dog, and expect
Respect, I will stand for
Truth!
I did not lose.

Good day Leigh, I hope you are doing well.
Where I live we get about one snowfall a year or every two years, so that was something that it snowed on Christmas eve. In the afternoon I looked outside as Ron and dogs took the pick-up truck out to lead some cows and bulls away from our home, as they got through our open fence and there was just one dark cloud, then when he came into the house it started to snow heavily, there was about 1 foot of snow. I wanted to go for a walk early the next morning and enjoy the scenery but I was not able to because there was a coyote near by, so there could be a pack of them nearby also, so I had to stay near the house and the snow quickly melted. The snow melted before I could get a picture taken of it on my cellphone.

Good morning all! I did things backwards today and did the bible study first lol. I hope you're all doing well today and have recuperated from Christmas. Wow Anna, I didn't think it snowed out where you live!! How was everyone's Christmas? Oh we had a wonderful day Leigh! I hope you did too. After my time with the Lord, Bruce and I gave our cats their presents and spent a while watching them play. That's always fun and makes us laugh. Then we gave each other our gifts. Nothing big, just a little something to say "I love you". Then it was time for the Jenn and her family to come over. In fact they got here a whole lot sooner than we expected, which was great! The kids took the cookies to our neighbors and then they opened their presents. We had filled stockings for them this year as well as getting them each a gift, and they had a blast opening them, but I think we had more fun watching We had supper about 2 pm and then Bruce, Bob (Jenn's hubby) and Elijah went outside to play while Gracie stayed inside and played with her new doll while Jenn and I talked. When the guys got tired they came in and joined us and we all enjoyed time together. I think they went home around 6pm and I'm pretty sure I fell asleep in my chair shortly after that as I don't recall much of anything except waking up and going to bed!Good day Leigh, I hope you are doing well.

We're supposed to get more later this week. Bruce is really hoping we will so he can take out his snowmobile.
Well, I'll see you all later. I've got to jump in the shower and then get some chores done. God bless you all!

It was as warm as a Spring day here. Strange weather.
Bad news about our house sale. The buyers backed out because we wouldn't pay for all the repairs they wanted done. They gave us an inspector's report that was 1/2" thick! They wanted us to replace every window. What they really want is a brand new house at the price of a 23-year old house. So our house went back on the market about noon. We had a showing at 3:30 this afternoon and another one is scheduled for Thursday morning. Since we're moving on Friday morning, there are boxes everywhere, but our agent said he would explain that to anyone who requested a showing.
Please pray that a more reasonable buyer will want the house. Thanks.

I'm off to do the bible studies and get busy. Talk to you all later!

We had 2 showings for the house today and another one is scheduled for tomorrow. We told our agent not to schedule showings on Friday because we start moving at 8 am.
Our son was here and took a carful of things he wanted. He'll be back on Friday.
Great weather here. Thanks for your prayers.

Well, that's what it looks like out my window at the moment. We're getting some good snow. Depending on what channel you watch, we're told we could get anywhere from 6 inches to a foot and a half of snow Bruce is hoping for the later of course, but even if we get less than he wants, I'm pretty sure he will be able to take his snowmobile out finally.

Oops, last post did not work. Cindy, I heard the weather forecast on the radio and I know you are getting more snow today, that is good, sounds like it will be a good time to get the snowmobile out and enjoy riding on top of the snow.

We did get moved in yesterday. The door handle on our apartment had to be replaced because it didn't work.
I still have things at the old house to pick up and I need to clean after moving furniture. Our son helped us move yesterday and he ate here with us as a guest. He was the youngest diner there!

Good morning Fresh-Hope family, and Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!
Just sitting here, propped up in bed drinking coffee and trying to wake up. We didn't have Sunday School the last two Sundays (and we were actually out of town two weeks ago), but we're back on normal schedule this morning, so I have to get ready for Sunday School and church in awhile. The choir has to be there a little early to go over the choir song for today, since we haven't practiced in two weeks.
Hope everyone is rested and ready to get going with 2017! Thank You Lord for bringing us to {and through} another year.

Good morning all! Sorry I didn't make it to this thread yesterday, I wound up spending too much time on the bible study threads I guess. We did get moved in yesterday. The door handle on our apartment had to be replaced because it didn't work. I still have things at the old house to pick up and I need to clean after moving furniture. Our son helped us move yesterday and he ate here with us as a guest. He was the youngest diner there! That's great that you're all moved in now - well mostly anyway. Almost done! I'm so glad you had help too, that really makes a big difference. To you too Kelly! Good morning Fresh-Hope family, and Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!

Amen! That sounds so nice, to be sitting in bed relaxing I mean. Sounds like the perfect way to start the new year lolNice graphic Marlene! Hope you're off to a good start for the new year! Well I hope everybody recover from holiday and New Year seem that some of my fellow SO CAL Resident did some mischief on Hollywood sign yeah I hear about Hollywood sign turn Hollyweed sign get it LOL! Only in SO CAL Folks only in So Cal Yeah I saw that on the news last night. They said it's been done before too. It's not surprising, but you could actually say the same thing for just about everywhere at this point in time.
Kelley and Lulu, did you hear about all the earthquakes that have happened in the the last 2 days near the CA, Mexico border, wow. Warnings: "Quake Swarms 250 Quakes Near California / Mexico Border" Yep, it's getting closer and closer to our Lord's coming every single day. Maybe today even! yup, heard about them quakes this morning, but I haven't felt a thing...to little to far south for us...but yup, we are over due for a good one here in Southern California! Ron had to return to work this morning...I have the rest of this week off, I've been doing a lot of house cleaning, got my bedroom to hit next...winter cleaning lol..... it's only 48 degrees out this morning, so I'm waiting a little for it to warm up to take boy out...he's still in bed...lol... All That's great that you get the week off Lulu, and perfect timing too so you can get your house back to the way you want it, and enjoy it while you're doing it! I'm sure that the atmosphere at home is much more peaceful for you all now!
I'm going to resting today as much as I can. There's a storm here (again) and that's playing havoc with my body some, but it's mostly just because I'm still sick and that's caused everything to flare up so everything hurts anyway.
