Sorry guys. The drops are prescription Lotomax that my doc gave me for this purpose. I'm going to have to see him sooner or later, not because of this so much but because the pain's getting more frequent and worse again in spite of the two prescription drops I use.
I'm so sorry to hear that about your church Lorrie. Satan sure hates a church where love is shown!
Sorry I've not been here much but have been dealing with my eyes, and then have been trying to work on my taxes when I could as well as some other necessary paperwork so I can see the urologist. So it might be another day or two before I can get back here. I'll try and get back as soon as I can though. My calendar reminded me that it was 13 years ago today that I first started Fresh-Hope.... amazing, huh?

Hi Cindy, Marge, and Lulu Leigh, I hope there is peace at your church and things get going back to normal for the church members.
My laptop computer seems to be running slower, I think it is because I can not upload windows 10.
The weather here is warm, so yesterday I planted two tomato plants that were given to me, in 5 gallon buckets. Today they are no more, something got them and ate them. There was an owl outside last night but I think they just look for mice, there are always rabbits here though. I am not going to waste my time trying to grow outdoor plants here in this area where I live, not even flowers, I don't want to keep putting flowers in a pot, but that is what the county wants people to do, no wonder no one has a pretty lawn and all around here, instead it seems that the men use junk cars for decoration.

Good morning ladies!!! (And any gentlemanly lurkers!! ) Friday is here -- YAY!! Lulu, is this a Jazzy weekend for you? I've lost track, but hope you have a fun weekend whatever you do. Thanks for the comments & prayers for our church. It is still a very difficult time for everyone, but those of us who are staying do feel that brighter days are ahead and that God still has great things to do there. It is heartening to see how everyone is pulling together and some are stepping out of their comfort zone to do different things to help fill in the gaps. Cindy, congratulations on your 13 year Fresh-Hope anniversary!! That calls for a celebration: I'm sorry your eyes are still causing so much pain and pray that you get done what needs to get done. Take as much time as you need; we miss you but don't want to add more pressure to the things you must do. Anna, what a shame that your two tomato plants were eaten right after you planted them. It must feel really bad to work planting things, only to have them disappear. Is that why you don't plant flowers also (they get eaten by animals)? John and I just planted some bulbs yesterday in pots by the garage, along with some jonquils that are already in bloom. It got pretty chilly last night so I hope the jonquils survive. (My hometown of Smyrna, Georgia is known as "The Jonquil City".... but I think everywhere else they're called daffodils. One of my earliest memories is planting jonquils in the back yard with my mother. I was probably two or three.) Margie, what kind of exciting things do you have planned for the weekend? Visiting with grandchildren? Ball games? Church, I'm sure. Please be praying for my sister. She is very sick - they thought it was asthma but she saw a pulmonologist this week and he said if it was asthma, it would've responded to medication. He is doing further testing, including a bronchoscopy with lung biopsy. Please pray for healing, and for peace.

Pretty daffodils flowers. People that drive by your place will look at the flowers and have a smile on their face, because something pretty give encouragement to a person.Lulu, I am glad you are able to have a garden and have already started getting lettuce and snow peas.I listened to a harpsichord sonata tonight, such pretty music.

Cindy, hope you are feeling better soon. Leigh, no I won't make it to church this weekend. We're going to our son's. Our granddaughter's soccer game was in Wichita Falls so we didn't attend.
Beautiful day here. Spent most of the afternoon on the patio with the parakeets.
Hugs to all.

Morning everyone! Need to go get ready for church. Just read through the third chapter of Acts - that is what we'll be studying in Sunday School today.
Lulu, hope you're having fun with Jazzy. I know you are.
Anna, that is a beautiful picture of daffodils! They are such pretty flowers. I love harpsichord music too!
Margie, enjoy visiting your son's family today. I did not realize you had parakeets.
Cindy, love and prayers for you.
Oh my, as I was typing this I just got a PM on Facebook that another dear friend, also named Cindy, went by ambulance to the hospital and is in ICU, on a ventilator. Would you all please pray with me for my SC Cindy?!?

Glad you had a good day at church yesterday ladies. While I don't go to a church I do go to a Christian chatwing and there we listen to teachings or sermons, so that works out well for me. Yesterday morning when I looked out my window, I saw four Mexican gray wolves near my home, I was able to watch them for a few minutes until they walked away toward my neighbor's garden. Well it's Monday and time is going by fast. I did see a short video yesterday of a small fire burning at Duke Energy Nuclear Facility in Seneca South Carolina, there was black smoke but the fire was quickly extinguished. They said the fire was from a transformer, but it did not look like a transformer burning, anyways there probably won't be any mention of it on the news.

I sure have missed you guys! thank you for your prayers, I've needed them. Yes, Lulu, the eye pain and other stuff is caused by the Sjögren's. I explained it in a post a little while ago I think...unless I dreamed doing that LOL.
I'm sorry to hear about your sister and have already said a prayer for her. I hope the docs can find a way to help her soon. Please let us know ok? I was sorry to hear about Ron's brother too, I'll certainly pray for him and Ron as well! I hope you had fun with Jazzy!
I was sorry to hear about your friend Cindy too Lorrie. Praying she's doing better....
Anna, that's so neat that you got to see the wolves! I love seeing all the various wildlife around here.
Guess what everyone? I finally got to go to church on Sunday! I was absolutely determined to go, even though I was feeling rotten on Saturday, lol. I told Bruce it would take God holding me down and paralyzing me to keep me away, and since He didn't do that, I went! Jenn and her family joined me. We went to a church that's very close to our house and across the street from where I worked for 10 years. The church has changed a lot since then and the pastor was just fantastic! It was really wonderful and we all enjoyed it. I wouldn't mind at all making it my home church. But first I need to find a home church for Jenn and her family. They liked this one, but I'm concerned that they wouldn't be able to find friends that they'd be able to visit with regularly if they continued at this church, since they live in a different town, and this church seems to be more of a neighborhood church. That's good for me, but not Jenn. I've left it up to them of course, but have a feeling we'll be checking out another church this coming Sunday which sounds like it would have more to offer for Jenn and Bob, friend wise. As long as it's teaching the Truth, that would be fine. So if they choose that one, I'll get them settled in there, and then go back to this church most likely.
My eyes finally started to feel a little better yesterday so I'm hoping they'll soon stop hurting completely. It was a good thing too as I had to watch Elijah and Grace all yesterday afternoon. Of course I enjoyed that immensely regardless of how my body felt. We had a good time too. First we colored marshmallow eggs, and then since it was a nice day, I sent the kids outside to play. They don't get to just run and play on their own hardly ever so I like to let them do that whenever the weather allows. I knew Jenn had a headache so I decided I'd try and wear them out so they'd sleep well that night and she could rest. So I grabbed my kindle and used the stopwatch to time them while they raced against each other and themselves. They literally ran like that for well over and hour, and that was after a couple of hours of just plain running and playing on their own, so I feel sure they slept very well last night! Bruce and I cooked supper for them all, and having run so much they ate everything in sight too! I could tell by 6 o'clock that they were already quickly winding down and would be ready for bed by the time they got home and got their baths finished.
Today, I recuperating from all of that, and the hopefully last of the eye pain.

Hi Mark, always so nice seeing you in chat! Cindy, SO glad to hear you're feeling better! We've missed you around here, but understand what all has been going on in your life. Happy to hear you got to attend church this past Sunday and enjoyed it. Hope you can find one that Jenn's family will enjoy and make friends. Anna, that is so neat about watching the wolves (from a safe place indoors!)! The Duke Power Plant you mentioned is not too far away. I have several friends who work there; it employs many people in our area. Funny that my online friend in Arizona was the one to inform me about the fire! Lulu, so sorry to hear about your BIL Robert; it is good that you are spending time with him and spoiling him while you can. Glad that you had a nice weekend with your Jazzy. Margie, hope your week is going well! Well, I've really gotten in over my head for this week by scheduling three things back-to-back that normally, ONE of them is enough for a week. I have to prepare & take brunch for Precept class on Thursday morning, have to teach the monthly 'Kids Cafe' music class on Thursday afternoon, and have to get the house ready and a meal cooked to host our small group at our house Friday night. Starting to feel overwhelmed. Thank you for praying for my dear church friend, Cindy, who I mentioned on Sunday morning. They do not know what caused her to "crash" but she is alive, miraculously. The nurse who took care of her on Sunday didn't think she would pull though the day, but many prayers were lifted on her behalf, and she did. (I posted a photo of us from our ladies Christmas tea on my FB page.) She still has a long way to go though, so continued prayers are appreciated. Also, my precious sister is still very sick, but a lab result came back showing that she has a bacterial infection in her lungs so she is starting another round of antibiotics to try and clear that up. Please pray for her healing!! She is supposed to have a lung biopsy next week and REALLY does not want to do that. She also was put on beta blockers to slow her heart rate. The lowest dose didn't quite do it, so the doctor upped it today and, praise God, it finally came back down under 100!! I'll be honest, I've been worried sick about her these last few days. If I don't get back in here to post until the weekend, just wanted you to know the reason why. Love you all.

Big storms here yesterday with several tornadoes in the area. None real close to us. Yesterday was garbage and recycling pickup day. I wheeled out our recycling cart but when it started raining and blowing really hard took a look out the door to see if it was still upright. It hadn't tipped over but was sailing down the street because water by the curb was so high. I pulled it back on the driveway and went inside to open the garage door. The door came up about 10 inches but then the electricity went off. I had to change and just put my clothes directly into the washer because they were sopping wet. Electricity came back on so I got our cart into the garage and made another cup of coffee in case the power went off again.
There was a lot of garbage and recycled items in the street as well as garbage cans and carts. One neighbor's Bradford Pear tree split in two and its broken half was in the street. When the rain let up I picked up stuff from the street and moved carts/cans onto the sidewalk so at least cars could get through. But as far as I can see we didn't have heavy damage like some towns did. Good Grief, what a morning!
Hugs to all.

Dogstaff, sorry to hear about your weather, hope the rains stop soon. Talk about rain, we live in Oregon and I have never seen so many days in a row of rain here in this State. The next sunny day for us is going to be on the 17th of March. Unbelievable! We have lived in the desert too long. Lol. I hope everyone has a good day. God Bless all of you.

Hi Mark, good to see you!
Lulu, praying for your brother in law and of course for all who love him.
Lorrie, I'm glad to hear your friend made it through and will continue to pray for her, as well as for your sister. My heart goes out to her!
Wow Margie, what a morning indeed! Thank the Lord you're safe though! I had to laugh when you said that about making more coffee just in case, as that's what I'd have done too LOL
It was another beautiful day here yesterday and today's like summer! Literally! Have the doors and windows all opened up again. It's already 62 and is supposed to get up to 69 or even 70 before the day's over! That's just simply unheard of around here!
My little Gracie is sick. She had a cough when she was here on Monday and by Tuesday morning she was running a fever and the cough was a lot worse. She had a headache and tummy ache on top of it. Sounds like a bug that's going around here. My other granddaughter, Maddie, is sick with it too. That's probably who Gracie caught it from since Maddie spends every morning before school at Jenn's house, and many afternoons after school too. Hopefully they'll both be feeling much better soon.
I'd really hoped to be able to be back to normal and have time to post a bunch here today, but it looks like I've got to play catch up with all the stuff I couldn't do when I was feeling so yucky and then watching the kids. I want to get as much done as I can today, since I never know how I'll feel the next day. Keeps me on my toes anyway

thanks Lulu, God has answered and Gracie is much better and I'm doing better too!
I agree Margie LOL Gotta have our coffee! I remember during the ice storm in 2008 when no one had electricity and people were mainly worried about staying warm, I was figuring out a way to make coffee with the coffee pot without electricity, LOL I managed it too! I put the filter in and put the coffee in it as usual, then heated water on the stove (as it's a gas stove so it worked) and then slowly poured the water into the filter so that it would drip down into the coffee pot as usual. I figured the only thing the electricity did was enable the pot to pump the water from the water container, into the filter, so I just skipped that step. It worked too and I had my coffee all during the time of no electricity!

We went to the church here in town again yesterday and really loved it! I kept thinking that I wished I could hit a "pause" button, run and get Bruce and then start it again . I know he'd love it! I think he's going to go with us this next Sunday now that he's heard both me and Jenn rave about it.
It was another very nice day here yesterday too, but right now it's snowing! I sure wish it would make up it's mind about which season it is! This isn't even for the birds! Hi! I just finished using a grinding mill to grind fine some soft white wheat berries. Had to hand crank the flour through three time to get the flour as fine as possible. ttyl anna Boy you do a lot of things the really old fashioned way. I'd love to know how, but there's not much point I guess since I couldn't do it anyway, so I'll just enjoy hearing about other people doing it. lol. Hope you had a good day!
Not going to do much of anything today... I hope....
