Frankly, I would rather pretend I was never that stupid

Sinful!
However, as much as it is humbling
to admit to such degradation,
( because that whole life style for almost 10 years
was exactly that!!!)
I can't go back and change it.
And, strangely enough,
there is an elder or deacon?
and his wife,
who have 4 children
( I think...maybe they have one more?)
But Lo and Behold...
their 'youngest' son
(I think he's the youngest)
has a drug addiction problem also...
and
he has bounced in and out of rehab.....
I mention this, because,
I have talked to the wife,
about my checkered past....
and she thanked me and said,
it was really encouraging to her.
She also asked me various questions.
So I guess, God can use even foolish silly people

I already told her that story that after I got surgery on that tumor on my stomach I have get medicine mom took me to Sav-on store I did'nt want go there some wrong with insurance they have prove I was taken medcine myself dont ask I was weak and want get into bed RIGHT away we went to 1950 diner they deliever to our car I only ate half of my dinner ate rest next day man at that time i don't want shoplift LOL!

![]()  I tried grass too Kelly. I think a majority of people have at this point. I'm so glad you quit when you did and that Barbara and I quit too. My mom was dying of cancer when I was 20 and the chemo made her sick to her stomach, so I'd get some for her. She said it helped a lot.
I know it can feel embarrassing an scary even to admit our sins in front of other Christians. I felt the same way, but discovered like you that if I share my sin(s) and how the Lord first convicted me of them and helped me deal with them, that numerous other people were dealing with similar issues and it opened the subject up for us so we could encourage each other - just exactly like you did at church! 
Today I need to vacuum the house and hopefully also shampoo the carpets. I'm pretty sure I won't be able to do all the carpets, but at least I can go over some spots. I also need to finish paying the bills. I often just guesstimate how much some of them will be and pay them the first week of the month. I've gotten pretty good at it too. I rarely wind up still owing them anything. I tend to overpay everything as I want a credit on each of my bills - the larger the credit the better! That saved my behind after Chris died. Those first few months I was a bigger wreck than even I realized. For the first time in my adult life, I totally forgot to pay different bills each month. (and I have spreadsheets I have to check off so that I can't make that mistake - so I was really out of it!) Anyway, because I had at least one month's credit, and often 2 to 4 months credit on every bill, I was protected. Now I'm back to trying to build up the credit once again.  It's going to take me a lot longer to build it up this time unless the Lord intervenes again. The way I did it the first time was with the government checks they sent everyone because of covid. It's kind of funny because when Chris was trying to buy the house, the loan agent asked me how I managed to get such excellent credit (It was up to 849 at the time  ) So I explained what I did with the "covid checks". He was really impressed and actually said he wished he'd thought of that! That really blew me away because I've never felt that I was very good with money. But now that it doesn't matter what our credit score is, I don't bother to keep track of it anymore.
Speaking of all of that, I guess I should go get dressed and then pay the bills, do my regular chores, and then start the vacuum ..... but I don't really want to! Oh well, I'd much rather spend the whole day in God's Word. Oh! I almost forgot, I got the list of my 26 plus pre-op and post-op appointments, so I need to get them all on my calendar now.
Speaking of appointments, my very last PT appointment (for the last surgery) is this coming Tuesday! I was surprised when I saw her last Thursday though. The surgeon gave me permission to walk with just my one cane (Praise God!!!!) so when I walked in with it, i thought for sure she'd jump all over me, but she didn't! She just said, I was walking so much better than before. I immediately told her that he'd given me permission to lose the 2nd cane though!  Now I know how to get to where I won't have to use the walker or two canes - just ask the doctor, he trumps the PT .

but closed it by accident
and now nothing I do will let me back on.

I think it's kind of funny because tomorrow I have my first pre-op appointment and my last post-op PT appointment. Weird LOL
I wonder what's going to happen to the US now that they've messed Israel over yet again. Not looking forward to finding out.
