Yesterday I spent the day trying to buy all the stuff they told me I needed before my surgery.Things to help me bathe, get dressed, pick things up off the floor without bending over and things to help me get into the shower. Thankfully I already have a walker and a cane and already use both lol. Boy I had no idea I'd have to buy all this stuff before hand! So far it's cost us $62.32. We're also considering having one of those walk in showers put in. Not sure about that though. I was really surprised to find that all but two of the things I ordered yesterday had already arrived when I woke up at 6:45 today!
 I'm off to get some coffee, but I'll be back later once I'm awake!

Yeah, I had to buy one of those things that's called a reacher/grabber, so you don't have to bend down to pick up anything. Then I had to buy something that helps you put your socks on, and something to help you put your shoes on. They also have something to help you pout your slacks on, but I figure if I can't figure out a way to do that, I'll have Bruce help me. Then they wanted me to get a long handled sponge for when I shower (no baths allowed which is fine, I can't sit in a tub anyway as I'd never get out lol) Next was a raised toilet seat and a bath bench as I won't be able to bend much at the waist or my legs either. Thankfully I already had a walker and was already using it sometimes. I use the cane more even though it makes me hurt more, but it looks like I'm not totally disabled lol.
I was hoping I'd have more time to chat, but I'm supposed to do exercises 3 times a day and I haven't done them yet. I didn't have time to read my bible even today because I slept so long thanks to that new pill! Oh well I'll try again tomorrow.
