That is kind of funny but sad at the same time. They are now in hades awaiting their final judgement when they will be cast into "outer darkness" where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. I find that scary and very sobering.

I don't get it at all. Yesterday my leg was doing better by afternoon and be bed time was almost normal. Now I can hardly get my slipper on. In fact I need to take it off cause it's too tight. Sorry guys, got to get my leg up yet again. I just wish this would get over with.

I'm feeling better today, thank the Lord. I think I finally figured out how to put the pillows to keep my leg at the right angle it needs to be when I'm sleeping so that the swelling will go down and stay down. Yesterday I just felt awful in general on top of my leg. But today is better. I do need to call my doctor soon about my meds though. I need to get them straightened out. I have to get ready for PT today. Hope you all have a good one!

You probably need adjustment on your medicine when my mom have her surgery for hip the medicine wasn't really working for her but luckly for her they adjusted for her
Well this weekend I plan go over to my mom and my brother Cathoic church they having Fiesta beside it for the church they plan some stuff on long term they just put in new playground that replace the playground that was build around the time when church was build in the 1950 now they going replace altar with floor that not wooden I not sure what Pastor up too going be something else not sure YET it also go to pay off little bill of the playground beside my nephew and niece go to the school so I don't mind

Hi everyone! I just posted 4 new articles for us. I wish I could post more, but I just don't have time.
I have an appointment to talk to my doctor about my meds, so hopefully that can get taken care of. She put me on gabapentin before surgery to help with the pain, and it did help with that, but it also makes me extremely forgetful, so I need to get off of it. I started weaning myself from it shortly after starting it, so hopefully she'll let me get off the rest of it soon and replace it with something that might work for me. That stuff is nasty!
Barbara, I've been going to physical therapy twice a week starting a week after surgery. I didn't look forward to it but I do now. The girls where I'm going are very good and helpful. My leg (hip) is getting stronger all the time. In fact, they told me yesterday that I could use two canes instead of the walker, which is a real relief. The walker just won't fit in many places in a mobile home! 
Well, I hope you all enjoy the articles. They're mostly in End Times, but one is in End Times News. I know some of you have seen the new devotionals I posted the other day. I just loved those!

I am not sure where exactly you posted the 4 new articles Cindy?Hi everyone! I know what you mean Barbara. The last couple of time I went I was in a lot of pain already so I didn't exactly feel like doing the exercises.  But I knew I had to do it. Yesterday I was really hurting, but I still made myself do them (at home I mean). It's a little different for me though. If the PT was for my back, I'd have just gotten a list of all the exercises and done them at home, but I know that they need to make sure my new hip is doing what it's supposed to be doing and getting stronger. They're also trying to strengthen my other hip so it will be in good shape for the next surgery.
Plus, I have to admit...I've been the "bad guy" before too. I've had to go in an make patients do their exercises regardless of how they feel, because it was what was best for them.  Isn't that kind of like what God does with us at times?

This reminds me of a former Major League Baseball player Dick Allen, who played back in the 1960's-70's. He was always late for spring training which was 5-6 weeks long. He would usually only show up for the last week or two. When asked why he said "the body is like a bar of soap, the more you use it the faster it wears out".

But I knew I had to do it. Yesterday I was really hurting, but I still made myself do them (at home I mean). It's a little different for me though. If the PT was for my back, I'd have just gotten a list of all the exercises and done them at home, but I know that they need to make sure my new hip is doing what it's supposed to be doing and getting stronger. They're also trying to strengthen my other hip so it will be in good shape for the next surgery. 
Isn't that kind of like what God does with us at times?
