Over this weekend I went with my mom to her CVS RX and decided go for it I already got my flu shot I also got Covid 19 shot on Saturday reason is she guilt trip me saying Kelly you have that intetive surgery your immune system sucks so I did it I took the bullet no side effect on this version YET I took it LOL!
OH well actually both Pharmicst and my mom double tag me LOL!

I'm so sorry it's taken me so long to get back here. And honestly, I'm not going to be able to stay for very long today as I have a post op appointment in an hour and a half. But I do want to THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH for all your prayers! God has heard every single one and has honored them all! I was a little nervous before leaving home for the surgery and I told the Lord that I was. Jokingly I told Him that it would sure be nice if He could let me know for sure He'd be with me. Not as in He's dwelling within me, with me, but with me to hold my hand. (I was still sitting at my desk when I said that. Then I glanced at my computer as I went to turn it off and the background had changed. It's set to change every 2 days and I have 100 or more scripture backgrounds, so that didn't surprise me although it did seem as though it was a little soon for that to happen. Then I did a double take and started to both laugh and cry. This is the scripture the Lord put on the screen for me that morning: “Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”” (Matthew 28:18–20) I couldn't help it. It reminded me of the song, "you're a good, good Father", and that's exactly what I told Him. He is indeed a good, good, father!
The surgery itself was supposed to take at least 3 and a half hours. It took just under 2 hours because everything went so smoothly and without even a slight complication! (what do you expect when the Lord's hands are guiding the surgeons?  ) It was amazing! It took several hours for the spinal block to wear off. I made me completely numb from the waist down. It was like my body didn't exist beyond my waist. So I obviously couldn't get up or walk since as far as my brain was concerned, I didn't have legs anymore lol. But once it wore off, I was able to get up to go to the bathroom. They insisted that I had to have a nurse with me whenever I had to get up, which was the smart thing to do.
I called them to take me to the bathroom about every 3 hours, and kept waiting for the pain to hit, but it really didn't. Not until around 11pm that night. Even then though it wasn't a sudden sharp pain or anything like that. But it was too much for me. It kept me awake all that night though. It was the night nurses last night there so since everyone else was asleep, we spent the night chatting. I have a feeling that was just what she needed, and besides, we both enjoyed each other's company. We even when for a slightly longer walk just cause we wanted to lol. I didn't ask for anything more for pain because I knew they couldn't give me more without contacting the doctor first. So I waited until I thought he'd be up and getting ready for work. He increased the frequency then, but then I realized that the pain had gone away sometime during the night! The Lord Himself stooped down and handled the pain for me! We serve an amazing God!!!
The doctor had Occupational and Physical therapy make sure I could do the things I needed to be able to do before I went home. The only thing I had a problem with was remembering not to do the things I wanted to do....not be bend or twist ect. That's very frustrating! They had to make sure I could go up and down 4 stairs too since I have to go up 3 to get into my house. That too was a piece of cake for me. I trotted up them and down them and turned around and did it again. The nurse was totally shocked and didn't know what to say. He finally just told me to hop back in the wheelchair and he'd take me back to my room since I sure didn't need to practice anymore. The doctor was totally shocked too. I could tell that he wasn't sure how much of the reports he'd gotten were true and how much was exaggerated. He said I could go home but he was requesting a home health aid to come out to help me. (not sure when she's supposed to come but I'm sure I'll find out lol)
So Bruce came and got me and I got to go home about 4pm Friday afternoon. I was so exhausted from not sleeping, that by the time I'd been home for 30 minutes, I fell sound asleep! I'd wake up every once in awhile for a couple of minutes but that was all. I slept from then until 6am Saturday morning. That's like 18 hours! Sadly, because of that, I'd gone all that time without any ibuprofen (for swelling) aspirin, (to prevent blood clots) and without changing the ice pack (to prevent swelling) and my leg was now the size of a large tree! So I got all bent out of shape about it but finally remembered to pray. When I woke up this morning the swelling was down but it looks like it's back again as I've overdone it already today.
Anyway, the whole point is to share what loving care the Lord bestowed on me all through this and still is! We have an amazing God who loves us and who is a very good father!!! He heard every single one of your prayers and you can now mark them all either answered or getting answered! lol Have to get ready to go now. Love you guys!

That good news Cindy just got over here just now I didn't know this look like I am have Back to School night at work today so they let everybody off early LOL!
I check out headlines see what I miss so far protests still continue in Israel it is hot in SO CAL going be mid 90s by end of the week in North Hollyweird

Well it warm morning in SO CAL already 75 degrees already YUK!
I dont know about your state I getting election stuff in my mail since Thursday they enourcage everybody to vote early when they allow early voting in State of CA so cool thing my drop off box for Mail in ballot at my school in parking lot all I have to do if I do that I vote through mail in ballot THEY giving to everybody in the state do that BOOM I already voted LOL!
There some people who freak out on Pandemic they going do mail in ballot in my state I think they appease those ninnys

Hi everyone! Well, I have to go back to see the surgeons nurse again on Friday. Guess I'm slightly allergic to the mesh they use to help hold the wound closed. They couldn't understand why I wasn't itching like crazy and why the allergic reaction was only showing in a very small part of the wound instead of all over it. Guess that's just the Lord letting them know that for my next surgery to use something else. I'll have to make sure they got the message when I go back on Friday. They changed it yesterday hoping that would help, and I assume they'll want to change it again on Friday. We'll see! And tomorrow is my first PT appointment. Oh joy! 
I did some more catch up work with my email and discovered something interesting. We got 2 years of free credit monitoring and identity theft protection. Well, they already sent me what the dark web has on me, some of which is interesting. Here's what they said. They found my current email address at the following places:

Well so far, all of the ones I've met have been very nice and very good at what they do. I'm looking forward to it and hoping they can help me get the swelling down. I know that my slight allergic reaction to the mesh didn't cause the swelling, but I am wondering if it could be making it harder to get rid of the swelling... I suspect it doesn't, but it doesn't hurt to ask. Plus I think I was running a slight fever last night and that's not a good sign. That could be due to the reaction to the mesh, or it could mean the start of infection. I sure hope it doesn't mean infection! That would be awful!
Anyway, I haven't been feeling the best since yesterday afternoon, so i'm going to go sit in the recliner so I can keep my leg up until I have to go to PT. Praying I'll feel up to posting more tomorrow!

Well no problem I here well this weekend is big Fundraiser for my brother Cathoic school we go to Shakey Pizza on Saturday for fundraiser LOL!
I be in and out today I have today off start this week they having something for School like Fall Festival this going be weekend with all fall treats going be shorten day today I be in and out
ANd still hot here in SO CAL temperature going be over 100 degrees cant wait for cooler weather coming mid part of next week

Hi everyone. I'm sorry but I can't stay and post and really shouldn't be here at all. But I'm cheating lol. My leg is swollen up really badly and I need to keep it elevated. Hard to do that sitting at a computer and typing. Hopefully it won't take too long to go down to semi normal. Oh it turns out I am allergic to the mesh and I've got a pressure sore which they're sending me to the wound clinic for. I didn't even know we had a wound clinic!

We got wound clinic all over SO CAL Cindy they are good
Well just found out that here in SO CAL we may get another channel allfiate to METV toons kinda off KCAL 9 which mostly news, car chases and Family feud court shows carry Mettv toons at certain hour on KCAL 9.6 be called KCAl Plus something like Fox Plus in certain area but people are geek up on that not everybody get Mettv toons even KAZA 54.3 they probably don't know about it
Too while before Decades before Catchy comedy went to Fox sub channel
BTW today is that my wacky nephew and niece fundraiser I go to Shakey pizza for fundraiser later on today
Going be hot one again here in SO CAl
