The other thread was getting pretty long so I thought I'd better start a new one.
It's disgusting at Chris' house. I spent over 2 hours only sweeping the kitchen and living room and it's still not really done! I'll have to go over it all at least one more time before I can mop it. I'm exhausted. Today I have to wait and see what the lawyer wants me to do about a couple of things and at some point we have to do our own grocery shopping, but not today. I have chores here to do. I may have to send Bruce without me to Chris' house. I'm not sure yet. I need to be at home, grocery shopping, at Chris' house, at Gracie's Lacrosse game at school tonight, and at Jenn's karate test tomorrow night - she's getting her brown belt! What I really need to do is find people to help us.

And perhaps the church could be praying for you?

Believe me every day at work I put stuff aslide to take home with me I got email saying before you leave THROW your empty notepad and printer paper you haven't used last month we clean up shop LOL!
I not going throw it away I think certain elderly former banker need it for take down my dad notes when he go to doctor I got note pad left she could use HEY I could used that printer paper for my home computer I am outta there
Yes it is true today is my last day at school I got do one thing I be out here my mom and I clean the part of my office yesterday we went to home we went to Popeye chicken got lunc/dinner so I be in out next week

Congratulations to Jenn, for getting a brown belt in karate, that is a good and responsible thing to do.
If you can afford to hire help with cleaning, I hope you do so. I will one day soon have to hire someone to take away some things around here, I will have that washing machine taken out, and there is a vehicle bumper, some furniture. I am waiting now for the new cheapy portable washing machine to to arrive, it is a UbesGoo brand, yeah lol. You can call me cheapy the cheapskate. I hope it lasts a year.
Kelly, that is good some free time to do whatever you want to do. Yeah, why throw that printer paper when someone could use it.
I tried cooking some bacon with a charcoal grill that sits on the ground, it would have been easier if I had charcoal but used dried out small tree branches. I had the idea it would be good to practice cooking with fire in case I needed to do that. I thought I would cook over a flame, well I could not rescue the bacon, the flame got to high and it all burnt down to nothing. I wanted to see how it would work for me and I have lost interest in cooking outdoors over a fire, I did cook some with just the wood ashes and that worked ok, so that must be the way to do it, but cooking with only mesquite wood leaves an overpowering taste of mesquite.
Barbra, good videos to view, I had watched Monkey and James K. also.

Well I gave to my mom the notepads and printer paper if I gave to a teacher friend it probably be thrown the trash I hear a story everything I mean everything go digital next school year next year I keep some paper record what would happen if computer get hack or get lost I have back up on everything I dont care

Thanks for your sympathy and your prayers Barbara. (I'm praying for you too!) Guess I've been having a bit of a pity party. Please forgive me. But no, we haven't any "extra" money with all the added expenses of the two estates, the extra gas going back and forth to the house etc. I've tried to think of anyone I could ask to help me. Lots of people told me when Chris died, that if I needed anything, anything at all, to just call them, and I know they meant it. But my neighbor is our age, her son is almost 60 and he can hardly walk; my other friend only has one lung and is very disabled, so none of them can help. Her son would help in a heartbeat (I helped raise him). But he lives and works in Maine and I can't ask him to take off work and come here and help. He couldn't anyway unless he wanted to get fired. Jenn is disabled now too. Her knees cause her a lot of pain and make it hard for her to walk. In fact they want to do knee replacements on her too. She was planning on helping after work yesterday but while at work, he knee went out and she couldn't walk anymore. Of course the kids are in school, and then they have choir, and sports and their jobs. They're willing to help when they can though.
Most of the ladies at church work, but are willing to come help clean my house. I haven't asked them for help at Chris' house. I'm too embarrassed. In fact, I told the pastors wife I'd like a rain check on having them come help at my house. Mainly because I want my doctor to get workers comp to pay people to do it like they're supposed to do. If she can't get them to help me soon though I'll have to take the church up on their offer.
The guy Bob, that wound up "renting a room" from Josh, is actually an old friend of Bruce's. They just didn't recognize each other because they hadn't seen each other in over 20 years, and they both look a lot older LOL. Anyway, Bob's coming over to help us today. We're also meeting the realtor at the house. He too is an old friend of both Bob and Bruce LOL. That should be interesting. He wanted to start showing the house on the 14th. I've told him there's no way I can have it ready by then. Not in the condition it is now. Hopefully once he sees the house, he will understand what I mean. He may order a large dumpster and maybe a cleaning crew. If so, the money to pay for anything like that will come out of the sale of the house. There's already way to many people who are in line for a piece of the pie from the house sale, including our lawyer. Most of them are going to wind up empty handed.
Oh, Josh isn't gone yet. The judge gave him until the 14th to get out and he's using the time. Of course he lied to the judge but the judge didn't know that. That's ok. The Lord knows the truth. He is watching over the whole situation. 
I have to thank the Lord however. He has been a life saver to me. He has strengthened me, helped me remain upright (in other words, kept me from falling on my face lol) and enabled me to keep going. He's simply amazing. He is the very best Father anyone would have! I'm so thankful that I'm His daughter!

Kelly, that is good some free time to do whatever you want to do. Yeah, why throw that printer paper when someone could use it.
I tried cooking some bacon with a charcoal grill that sits on the ground, it would have been easier if I had charcoal but used dried out small tree branches. I had the idea it would be good to practice cooking with fire in case I needed to do that. I thought I would cook over a flame, well I could not rescue the bacon, the flame got to high and it all burnt down to nothing. I wanted to see how it would work for me and I have lost interest in cooking outdoors over a fire, I did cook some with just the wood ashes and that worked ok, so that must be the way to do it, but cooking with only mesquite wood leaves an overpowering taste of mesquite.
Barbra, good videos to view, I had watched Monkey and James K. also. Thanks Marlene. I wish I could hire someone. My doctor is supposed to be trying to find someone to help keep my house clean since I have trouble at home. It's been 6 months since I begged her to get me help but she had nothing 3 months ago. I'll see her again at the end of this month. This time I'm going to make sure she realizes just how hard it is for me to stand and walk. I'm going to show her instead of just tell her. My Medicare part D covers it but they don't have anyone in my area. Workers comp should pay for it, but getting them to do anything is almost impossible.
I'm sorry you had a hard time cooking the bacon outside. Could you use a little charcoal grill? We have one just like this and it works great!

Well I am offically on Summer vacation like quoting Alice Cooper SCHOOL OUT FOR SUMMER LOL!
I am plan go to Sizzler this Saturday with parents celebrate end of school year we going do that day but today I am kick back slept in little bit this morning but I plan sleep in next week and be online later than usual for me LOL!
BTW remember I told about my doctor well she claim now she claim they are working both Covid 19/Flu shot combo if you want get it fine but you don't want it get your local RX you only want flu shot which I plan get it only next fall season or following season

Hi Cindy, I've had a physical problem the last 3 weeks that made taking care of the outside animals (chickens, peafowl, horse) a bit of a challenge. Left me pretty tired and worn-out (like you must feel). Thanking the Lord that I'm feeling better now, up to about 80%.
Keeping you in prayer! This has been such a nightmare for you and Bruce.

I hate to say this but I think Josh is snowjobbing the Judge telling him oh yes your Honor I get out of 14th he is not going do it I wonder why if Josh is employed and has renter friends, he doesn't leave to a new place to rent, many people have to sleep in a car a few days until they can get into a place, but that works against him being able to rent because of the record of what he did and also I wonder why he would not be more concerned about his reputation and gossip, especially if he is a teacher, oh well whatever. |

but it is NOT a mess you caused!!!!
If the ladies at church offered to help..
then not asking them for help,
is kind of like denying them,
their gift of the spirit
( if it's hospitality etc.).
Are they you sisters?
I know, like me, you never had any siblings,
but now we do...
If they are really in the family of God,
and that means they are your family....
you need to ask...

My pastors wife said she'd ask the ladies at church if any of them could come and help me at my house - not at Chris' house. She wasn't/isn't aware that I need help at his house yet. I know what you mean about delighting in housework though, as that's something I've always done. In fact, I've cleaned houses professionally before. I can't do it now obviously. In fact, I've discovered things I can't do at all now, since I've been trying to clean Chris' house. All you've said about it though is true, but I still want to see if workers comp will do what they're supposed to do and pay for someone to do it. Also, next week I have to start getting things together for when I have to reapply for food stamps and medicare, which comes up in June. This time I'm asking them for medicaid for us both, and medicaid will pay for that too. And I know medicaid has people and companies in my area that do that. So one way or another, God willing, I'll get help. Thank you for caring so much about me! I almost forgot to add that there are some people who have said they're willing to help. I'll have to wait till next week probably to see if they show up.
Oh, I had the realtor come by to see the house while we were there cleaning. He didn't really believe me when I told him there was no way the house could be shown next Wednesday. (He knew that Chris had taken really good care of it and was going on that information.) When he walked in yesterday at 5pm, he couldn't believe what he was seeing, and that was a after many hours of cleaning had already been done! He admitted then and there that I was right and he understood why then. He also is going to loan money to the estate so we can get a large dumpster and hire professional cleaners. He would get the money back when the house sold. I told him I appreciated his offer but would feel better if the lawyer made the decision as to whether or not that was something we could do. So he's going to call the lawyer Monday and find out.

I started checking to see who from our first ancestors were still alive after the flood. By ancestors I mean folks like, Adam, Seth, Enosh, Kenan, Mahalalel, Jared, Enoch and Methuselah. All of them were born before Noah was. I wanted to find out how much influence, if any, any of them may have had on Noah's generation - you know the generation that God said "every thought was evil". I kept thinking how could that happen with the godly people that these ancestors were. So I figured out how old each of them were at the time Noah was born and at the time of the flood. Of course no one other than Noah's family was alive after the flood. Then I thought, wait a minute, if I'm going to figure that out, I might as well keep going and see which godly ancestors (like Noah's sons and grandsons) were alive when Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed. Well, I found out and was totally shocked! The destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah happened only 450 years after the Flood, when Noah’s son, Shem was still living. This was only 100 years after Noah’s death, so people would have known about the message of righteousness and judgment from God which Noah preached, and which they rejected. I know 450 years and even 100 years sounds like a long time to us, but back then people lived a whole lot longer, so it really wasn't. This makes me understand this scripture even better: “If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, shake the dust off your feet when you leave that home or town. I tell you the truth, it will be more bearable for Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of judgment than for that town.” (Matthew 10:14–15).
