When I was going to such we never had a thought about such safety being needed. I guess young people are acclimated to their enviorment now days, but I'm not.

I sometimes watch the Christian warrior.
He was a police swat team leader for 30 plus years.
But is a devout Christian.
and the threats to churches on US soil
is getting progressively worse.

But yes, you are right!

That assault has only intensified since October 7.
Hezbollah has fired rockets and missiles
into northern Israel on a near-daily basis
for more than six months,
causing the depopulation of much of northern Israel.
Tens of thousands of Israelis have not seen their homes
in half a year due to this Iranian-directed assault;
many of their homes no longer exist,
having been destroyed by Hezbollah's rockets.
The Houthis, another Iranian proxy group based in Yemen,
have also fired numerous missiles at southern Israel.
Finally, Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad
have been funded, armed, and trained by Iran
for years and the Iranian regime views
the Palestinian terror groups
as part of its offensive efforts against Israel.
There has not been a single day
in the past six months in which Iran,
via its various proxies in the region,
has not attacked Israel.
The airstrike in Damascus
targeted individuals directly responsible
for Iran's ongoing assault on the Jewish state.
Lie #2: "The target of Israel's airstrike
in Damascus was a diplomatic facility."
False.
The notion that the target of the Damascus airstrike
was a mere "Iranian consulate" is laughable.
The building was a local headquarters
of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC),
a branch of the Iranian military
that has been designated as a terrorist organization
by the United States and multiple other countries.
Those killed were senior figures in the IRGC,
including Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi,
a senior commander in the IRGC's foreign operations unit
who was responsible for liaising with Hezbollah,
and his deputy, General Mohammad Hadi Hajriahim.
Five other IRGC officers were killed in the airstrike,
as were five Iranian-affiliated militiamen,
one Hezbollah operative,
one Iranian military advisor,
and two apparent civilians.
The airstrike was aimed at military figures
in a military facility
and the targets were directly involved
in orchestrating attacks on Israel.
The fact that the building was adjacent to
the Iranian embassy
does not change its military character.
Lie #3: "Israel carried out
the Damascus airstrike in order to provoke a wider war."

For months, Israel has limited its military response
to the ongoing assault by Iranian proxy groups
to tit-for-tat airstrikes and artillery fire

is that large swaths of northern Israel

Plus, Bob's sister has worked for the town for many years and holds a high position there. His ex-wife worked at the bank in our town and did our mortgage, and later was the treasurer for our mobile home park. His brother also holds a high office and they are all very responsible, upstanding citizens. He has 5 kids and 11 grand kids, just like us . He started drinking which is why his sister has power of attorney over his money. He is sober now and was sober when we met him at the house. Hopefully he will stay that way. But that's partly why he wants the house. it would be a great incentive for him to stay sober so he could live with his son, daughter in law and grandson. He has been taking care of them so they're not in any danger. He had wanted to keep them himself, but since he can't buy the house and has to leave, he can't take the cats with him. He's started drinking and doing drugs when his dad told him he didn't qualify for the loan. Up until then he was fine. But ever since then he's like a different person. It's really sad. I pray for him daily.

I think I am in a new era where society has gone crazy, reading about the threats where churches and high schools are having to deal with shooters. When I was going to such we never had a thought about such safety being needed. I guess young people are acclimated to their enviorment now days, but I'm not. I feel the same way Marlene. The whole world has gone insane.... but then that's exactly what the Bible said would happen. I guess we just didn't figure that into what we would experience. A depraved or reprobate mind is quite simply another way of saying the person is insane. I don't have time today to explain what the word means in the original language, but will try to another day if you want me to. But you guys may already know that anyway.

Oliver do you forage for any food there where you live? When I lived in Jacksonville I used a cast net and had all the shrimp and crabs that I wanted to eat. Once someone gave us a large frozen fish and we left it on the dock, well it thawed out and went back into the water. I forage for food here, right now because of the cool weather I have all the clover greens that I want, I am watering the clover and hope to keep it going for another week or two, after that there is what comes from a tree, for tea and flour, but that is more time consuming work than the growing clover. Because of the heat indoor container garden works best for me, I will be getting 7 new starter plants tomorrow morning when I go to town, chaomile and mint plants are growing well.

The only place I forage is at Piggly Wiggly and Grocery Outlet. lol. My chickens forage so that really helps on having to buy scratch, just a bag now and then. They keep me in eggs. Lock them up a night because of possums, coons, foxes, bobcats, etc. Have 1 peacock and 2 peahens, they still lay a few eggs and I sale them for $5 each.
Very much enjoy hearing about your foraging and the plants you grow.
Hoping/praying you have a safe and pleasant outing tomorrow.
