It's past time for a new thread so here we go. I'm including all the most recent posts here so we don't lose anything. Pain kept me up all night last night so my brain isn't working it's best, but I'll give this a try!
I shared some of what Amir said on facebook...especially the part about Muslims in France. Mainly because I want to find out if Facebook will allow it to stay. They might if no one reports it and they don't find out about it some other way lol
Did you see this part:
Russia is basing its military presence close to Israel Media in Syria published documents of Russian army patrols and a new military position, which joins other positions near the border with Israel.
According to a Syrian opposition source, this Russian establishment comes after months of complete absence. It is not certain that this is good news for Israel, in light of the side that Russia has chosen in the war in Gaza and its rapprochement with Iran in the shadow of the cooperation between the parties in the war in Ukraine. Sounds like it could be the start of another war or the cause of one in the near future....
I'm hoping I'll hear more good news about the house today, but not sure if I will. I'll let you know as soon as I hear that he's really buying the house...as soon as it's more than just a rumor anyway!
I'm going to go and post the latest article for us now, while I still can. (sorry, I slept late and still have to clean a lot today due to Chloe....

Amir's words:

Shalom from rainy Jerusalem.
Just finished a very interesting interview with Dr. Einat Wilf, a strong advocate of Israel in the academia and political realm.
We are on opposite sides politically and spiritually, which is exactly why this interview will open your eyes to seeing the important issues in the way many secular Jews do.
Often times we are locked inside an echo chamber; thus, we fail to understand how and why others think and act the way they do.
This interview didn’t change my mind, but rather made me even more convinced that Israel’s hope
isn’t in its leaders and their politics. The Messiah is our only hope!

Oh you said Joan fabric store, I had thought I read Jo Ann's fabric store which I think I read about two months ago they were filing chapter 11, I forgot to mention that here. I did not want to pay the amazon prime membership, so I thought I would use W instead for the basically free shipping, well I lost 25 dollars by doing that. A box arrived without the gf flour, so that was 15 dollars and then a purse that shipped later by mail made it to the L A p o and never left forward from there, so that was a 10 dollar lose, so I think I will pay prime and go with amazon, haven't had any problem with them. I'm so sorry you lost money on that. I've had Prime for years and just love it. It's saved me so much money, especially by using their "Subscribe and Save" and free shipping. I get stuff like toilet paper and other stuff that I buy regularly, after checking local prices for the items and making sure it's cheaper on the subscribe and save. Then I choose how often I want to get it and that's stuff I no longer have to get at the local store, plus I save money!
They're great about returns and refunds too. I was shocked the first time I asked for a refund because I was sure they wouldn't give me one. Most places wouldn't have, but they did and did so right away! Anne: I use Amazon prime for several years ( at least that long maybe a lot longer) now, and have never had a problem. I not only use it to buy 'things' on Amazon, but also to download free books to my kindle. Yes, I get tons of free e-books on amazon too! I think Barbara uses Kindle Unlimited, which is a good deal, but you pay for it. I just get the totally free books and read those. I've been able to get full series that way too!
It is good that Amazon has Kindle books.
To buy food online I go to Vitacost and I just joined Thrive. For me there have been delays in shipping lately from all online orders, I was sent this e-mail from Thrive, "I wanted to share the cause of the delays: in short, a combination of unexpected higher demand, unprecedented winter weather." They also take Snap money now, that is when things seemed to start to slow down.
Amazon has lots of food too, but I haven't had time to look into that very much. I've only gotten a few food items and they were things like coffee, that don't spoil. It's nice too because you can use food stamps for the food. In fact, you can get Prime for only $6.99 a month if you upload a copy of your EBT card to prove that you get food stamps, and then you can use the card to pay for food items too.
By the way, Chloe is much better now! Oh dear, certain cats seem to think I should jump up and go feed them RIGHT NOW!!! OK, I guess I will!

Cindy:
Our cats never do that!! Well....only about once every hour or so LOL.
Weird, I did not go to sleep until sometime after 3 but then, since both out cats are indoor/outdoor cats, and my recliner is right by the door, I get to let them in and out and in and out.....
Some rare nights they do not do a lot of inning and outing but on other nights grrrrrrr it seems never ending, and if I can't sleep.... and then, finally I am comfortable and 'almost' asleep... boom! 'Someone'
Speaking of 'getting' comfortable I have at least 8 pillows on my recliner that I use to stabilize my back, neck etc.
But I can't always just place the pillows exactly, where they will be the most helpful for pain.
Not only that but it can take 1/2 ah hour, of tiny micromovements, to get each part of me in a kind of, s ort of more comfortable position....
If I manage, 70% of the time, THAT is when a cat wants in or out.
AND
if they go out, it is often for a quick potty run and 15 minutes later, they will want to come in again!!! Usually, IF I have started all over again, and found a semi-comfortable position to be in!

An Al Jazeera journalist who was arrested in Gaza today by the IDF at Shifa terror base was actually part of Hamas.
Yet, international journalists condemned his arrest, branding him as an innocent journalist who was wrongfully imprisoned.
Turns out he has a personal Facebook on which he loves to post his love for Hamas leader and October 7th massacre mastermind, Yahya Sinwar. ~~~~~~~
CENTCOM reports that American forces operated successfully and destroyed 7 anti-ship missiles, 3 UAVs and 3 weapons storage containers in areas controlled by the Houthis in Yemen.
The US Army's Central Command also stated that these weapons posed an immediate threat to merchant ships and ships US Navy in the area. ~~~~~~~~
Biden is again delaying the rescue of hostages.
Biden wants Israel to come to the U.S. to listen to his “concerns” about Palestinian civilians, who he elevates above the interests of the Americans and Israelis who are being held hostage by the Palestinians, likely in Rafah. ~~~~~

Germany's Federal Prosecutor's Office
announced the arrest of two suspected Afghan ISKP (The Islamic State – Khorasan Province- a regional branch of the Islamic State terrorist group)
supporters in the central German state of Thuringia.
They were allegedly planning an attack in Sweden in retaliation for the burning of the Quran in the country. ~~~~~~~ Trudeau government will stop sending arms to Israel, Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly says - Toronto Star. ~~~~

HUGE WIN.
The Supreme Court will now ALLOW the Texas National Guard to arrest & deport illegal aliens within the state of Texas.
A big blow to the Biden administration. ~~~~~~~~

I am drinking stinging nettle tea, glad I can buy that dried out and not from a live plant, I grow so much mint that I often have mint tea. Yesterday I made like an outdoors rockstove and I cooked pancakes, the only dry twigs to burn is mesquite which has a strong smell that stays on the clothes for hours. After that I felt cold and went back to bed, later I took a vitamin B12 ( helps red blood cells).
I watch this wheels nomad guy's videos from Tucson, he was grieving that his uncle recently died and told about when he called for a pick up of the body for cremation. Only one guy showed up many hours later in a van to get the body so he had to help carry out the body, the man employed to take out the body had just gotten out of prison saying he was glad he no longer took drugs, but was obvious that he was on drugs, the uncles head hit the doorway and he had to tell the guy to be careful and more respectful then that man locked his keys inside the van so they tried to uolock from the window and ended up having to brake the glass out of the back door and then tape plastic over that, he was sad that he had to experience all that of being unrespectful and unprofessional behavior.

That's awful Marlene! Now I understand why the hospital Chris was at has the police in charge of everything concerning anyone who dies there. I was shocked one day when I called to let the coroner know that the crematory would be coming to get Chris, and the hospital connected me with the police instead! They explained that everything concerning a person who dies has to go through them and that when the crematory came for Chris that they would be the ones to escort his body to the hearse. They told me that they make sure the body is handled respectfully and carefully. That made me feel good. But thankfully I didn't have to worry anyway since everyone at the crematory was very respectful and went out of their way to make us comfortable. I'm so sorry that man had such a bad experience.
I'm sorry you have such a hard time sleeping Barbara. ((((hug))))
We're about to go shopping. I haven't heard anymore about the house but hope we'll see Josh today and talk to him again. I suspect he hasn't heard anymore though. We'll see... Please Lord, cause Josh's dad to buy the house at the full price!

Oh and Bruce's surgery was finally scheduled for next week! It's going to be at 11am on March 28th! Since they originally said he'd have to wait till April 27th, this is a huge blessing from the Lord! Thank You Jesus! Obviously, I won't be here that day .
I'd better go see what he's up to and then come back and post some more after I've fed the cats.

Well I feel like I have a life time supply of hot green and red variety chile salsas. I had one of those what did I just do moments when I paid 100 dollars for 12 jars of chile salsa, made by a Mexican man from a New Mexico chile farm. Now I don't have any money until next month. I took one of the large dogs for a walk and saw on the ground an old horseshoe, like over 100 years old, it was for a smaller horse or maybe a donkey, I have some horseshoes from a neighbor that died and they are larger than that one I saw on the ground. Speaking of donkeys I heard one hew haw this morning, a neighbor has 2 I think, years ago she told me the donkeys were very old, I guess they are still alive.

I have been watching videos of people that explore caves and the desert southwest canyon areas before the Indians time there, there is so much history like of an ancient museum, pictographs and petroglyphs images carved or painted on stone, pottery, hand prints, six finger hand or foot prints, rock homes, and cave dwellings. Interesting to see what a man can explore hiking the area.

anna 12 jars of chile salsa??? That's a lot! Well, at least you won't have to buy anymore for a long time. I enjoy watching those kind of videos too, the cave and mine explorations that show so much history. That's really neat that you found a really old horseshoe!
sevenofnine How long is your Easter break for? I think our kids get off next week too.
I just couldn't wake up for some reason today. Not sure why, but because of that, I've got to go get busy here and don't have time to post more today.
Thank you all again for praying about Josh's dad buying the house! I hope to hear more today. Josh did say that his dad spoke to the bank again yesterday.... I expect to hear from the lawyer any time about it....

Its a nightmare in Ukraine. Praying for those folks, many Christians there. You won't hear this in the msm, but there are a lot of Christians in Russia, too.
On a lighter note, I walked to my mailbox today (about 1700 feet from the house} just before I got there with no warning it poured down raining in sheets and I got soaked! lol! Back at the house dried myself off and took the SUV and got the mail. Just another day in the life of an old 71 year old hermit.
