 Yep, that's what it looks like outside my window today! We went from spring weather to mid winter overnight and got almost 2 feet of snow! I sure hope it doesn't kill all my flowers that had started to come up a couple of weeks ago! We're supposed to get a bunch of ice next. Not fun! Don't get me wrong, I love snow, but we had all thought winter was over and spring was well on it's way. We just weren't prepared for this at all! 
My daughter, Jennifer, and her husband went to Florida for the week to celebrate their 20th anniversary. They sure picked the right week to go!

Well, not only that!
But this morning, as I was walking out of the bathroom,
there by the baseboard was a BIG spider!!
I snuck up on him with tissue in hand...
and
pounced
But the dirty rat, somehow managed to creep, or fly
under the baseboard and out of sight!
Arggghhh
Which means, he is still able,
no doubt,
to come waltzing out at a later time!!!
Did I mention, I do NOT like spiders???!!!
I know there are folks who do
and no doubt the good Lord
put them on earth to do some good things...
but they are ugly
scary
and sometimes they are poisonous...
AND
I do NOT like them.
Especially not in the place where I live.
Why don't they stay outside,
where there are lots of bugs to eat?
Furthermore, stay out of sight!
sigh!  I completely agree! But I've got one thing I also hate that happened last night... Rascal woke me up at 1am to show me that he'd caught a mouse! He had brought it into the bathroom and left it there for me. It was just a little one and I thought it was dead. It hadn't even twitched in 5 minutes. (that's how long it took me to put on my robe cause it's freezing, medical gloves and then put on Bruce's "mouse catching gloves" over them - they're heavy duty work gloves lol). So I'm finally all ready to pick it up and take it outside, but when I look back down the mouse is gone!  It took me about 20 minutes to find the little bugger, but I finally did. I'm telling it that I won't hurt it, that I'm just going to put it back outside. It didn't listen. It ran and I lost it again. So I called Rascal back in and the two of us looked for it. I think Rascal was pretty disgusted with me at that point. We both gave up after another half hour went by. So it's still in the house somewhere..... 
Remind me to tell you my grasshopper story! 
Since we got a lot or rain and weeds have started to grow I decided today to make what is called a weed tea, I will use all tumbleweed plants, soak for a week or two in water and then water my herbs with that fermented tea. This morning I used a teaspoon of tumbleweed flower to put in with my mint tea. Tumbleweeds will only be soft to the touch for a few days. Barbara, "I Don't Like Spiders and Snakes" by Jim Stafford comes to mind. I'm not too crazy about spiders, but I especially don't like snakes! Yikes! I remember that song! Boy am I glad no boy ever came near me with spiders, snakes or frogs!
Honestly, I really, really, really, don't like snakes! My first memory of one is of a rattler in the bedroom. I was maybe 3 years old at the most and my mom was trying to throw a metal trash can over it, which she finally did, and she weighted it down so it couldn't be moved till my dad came home and took care of the snake. Nope, don't like snakes of any kind at all! 
I'm going to go ahead and post this and will come back shortly and give you all some more news.....

I do remmeber when TCM came on the air I was fan gal from the beginning I grew up not on soap opera on classic old movies on ota channels here in So CAL in the 1970s and 1980s with Million dollar movie on KHJ 9 which turn KCAL 9 and British and film noir on KTTV 11 which now fox station

Hmmm...If you clobber an embassy, you've really thrown the previous diplomatic rule book out the window.
Or put another way, if you pick a fight, some sort of retaliation is highly likely.
The reality is Iran likely has nukes, had them since 2000, probably got them from other countries.
The ugly truth is there is no real defence against hypersonic missiles, so if Iran has hypersonics and decides to hit back.....well....
Ww3 is shaping up to be a global bar fight.
I have been praying for peace everywhere there is conflict. I wonder if people realise how devastating a big global conflict might be e.g. possible loss of gas, electricity supplies, sleeper cells inside countries being activated, water supplies being compromized etc.
It would be highly sensible to have some food and water and some gas and money stored away just in case.

I've been praying for God's protection of Israel for many years in morning prayers. Since last October I've stepped it up to several times a day.
Amir is so right about the people, its not them, its the leaders in control. That goes for Ukraine, Russia (they have a special place in my heart), Nigeria, South Africa, Haiti, and USA. We the people are no longer in control of our leaders and I don't believe we will ever be again. The "swamp" is very deep. It seems to me that most Americans are superficial, frivolous, spoiled, and out of touch with what is real and important.
This modern saying is so true "normal is not coming back, Jesus is". Can't be soon enough for me.

surrounding them, plot ways to get rid of the Jews,
from the river to the sea?
But the Bible is clear,
that small amount of land,
is and always has been for God's chosen people.
We gentiles have been grafted in, and are His children too.
Jesus made it clear, that the closer we get to the end,
wars and rumors of wars, famine, plagues, etc. is going to come.
After the rapture, then when the antichrist first appears,
there will be 'peace'.
The people will love him,
because they will be so sick and devastated by war....
but of course, he is a liar.
It is so odd, why are those who feel Israel is wrong...
but do not go after Russia, North Korea, China, etc etc etc,
with the same vitriol?
I just do not get it?
The Arab countries, had a LOT LOT LOT more land,
they could take in every so called 'Palestinian',
and still have endless land left over.
But no, none of them offer.
Plus, it seems, that Israel, will be one day,
attacked by many nations,
with no one to offer help.
But God will!
That is Biblical.
Irregardless,
The Bible never went back on God's Word:

Certainly, many are not terrorists,
but out of that number...
I would suspect, they could be quite a few terrorists.
So actually, in my opinion,
our government (USA),
does not seem to be prepared,
to protect it's citizens,
like Israel does.
But God has no plan to keep this world,
forever, not even the universe.
And after the 1000 reign of Jesus,
God will destroy not only earth but the universe,
and create a new universe, earth and Heaven.
Because this one is sin cursed.
People are sinners.
Do I think Israel is perfect,
certainly not,
no country is!
But I do believe, unlike any other country in the world,
they do their very best,
to not hurt the innocents,
However, in every war, that there has ever been,
accidents happen....
but no other country goes to the extremes as Israel does,
to not harm those who are not terrorists or combatants!
I will stand by Israel, because I believe God's Word,
the Bible.

I know I posted this before, but any sermon by John MacArthur is great!
It deals a lot with what in being lined up
for the one world government, one world currency,
and one world leader.
But that will seem like a very good plan,
no more wars ( no real countries),
no stealing your wallet, etc.

Oliver I also had a sneaky grandmother. MY grandparents had a new three bedroom pink color home built in the poor part of town, my grandpa told grandmother not to go to work at a factory making swanson tv dinners, because he made enough money and when he retired from being a foreman at the steel mill they vacationed around the world to spend the extra money they had. It wasn't until after my grandmother had died that my grandpa found out that she owned a house two blocks away that she rented out and the house was in her name only.

Measures taken following the tragic incident include:

Sorry I'm late, but first I overslept and then our lawyer called and said he needed to come by and have me sign a paper before he went to court for the estate this morning. Well, there was over a foot of snow outside so I had to go out and shovel a pathway from the driveway to the house. Thank the Lord that by the time i got almost to the car, my neighbors saw me and took over from there! I don't think I could have taken another step. I'm having trouble just standing up at this point. But it's done!

 I crawled inside and got a cup of coffee and had to have Bruce carry into my room as even my hands were swollen and sore.  I don't plan on moving from here for the rest of the day! Well, ok, I'll have to move and go into the living room at least, but that's all!
fearnot Barbara, That's too funny about your bee or stinging bug LOL Gracie and Eli were afraid of Bees when they were younger, so I explained the difference between bees and wasps. I'm terrified of wasps! Bees aren't my favorite either, and normally I wouldn't do what I did to show them that they didn't need to be afraid of bees, but I didn't want them to grow up fearing them like I did. So, since we usually have plenty of bees around pollinating a large bush that's full of flowers all summer, I showed them that I could even pet a bee and the bee wouldn't mind it a bit. Yep, I pet a bee! When I told them what I was going to do, they both stepped backwards and I could tell they were prepared to run LOL. not that I could blame them! But the bee really enjoyed the petting and I got the feeling he didn't want me to stop. What was neat was that as I was petting him, the kids were so intrigued, that they kept getting closer till they were right next to me. By then though the bee had had enough, and flew off to find another flower. The kids instantly ran inside yelling, "Mom, guess what Grandma just did!"  At least they're not overly afraid of bees anymore. I did tell them that if a bee will sting if it thinks it's life is being threatened so just don't be mean to them and they'd be fine.

oliverwithatwist ewww! how could she hide it from her husband? I would think he'd know it as soon as he kissed her. She must have done a super good job of cleaning her mouth! That's too funny!
About why people hate Jews, or rather where it came from, that's easy...Ishmael. That's what God says anyway. And every generation after Ishmael continued the hate. Then as they spread around the globe the hate spread with them. The catholic church taught their members to hate the Jews for many, many generations, right up to and including during the holocaust. Remember, the protestant reformation was reforming from the catholic church, and Luther and many others who had been taught to hate the Jews, continued to hate them and continued to teach it to protestants too. Thankfully by the next generation that was no longer taught, but the damage was done and many families continued it by teaching their kids to hate Jews.
It's kind of funny because Gracie recently asked me about what was happening in Israel. She was all excited because one of her teachers had taught them about it. That instantly put me on high alert so I listened while she told me more. Thankfully her teacher wasn't a Jew hater, but she also either wasn't saved or didn't know the Bible and told the kids that it was hard to find the truth out about what was going on in Israel. So I showed Gracie that it really wasn't that hard and where to go. Then I told her that as far as understanding why it was happening that she already knew more than her teacher did. That surprised her lol. When she asked how she did, I told her that God explains it all in the Bible and reminded her about Ishmael and all that happened. I have to remember to show her more next week too. sw7777 Hi Steve, how are you doing? I meant to reply about your dream yesterday, and then totally spaced it out. I'm sorry! I agree that we need to keep our focus where it belongs, on the Lord and His kingdom. The problem is that Satan has convinced so many people that if they pick the right person for President than everything will be just fine. They don't seem to realize that what they're really saying is that the right president (the one they like best of course) will save them. But there's only one savior and that's Jesus. Things won't be right till He returns.
I don't believe there will be a world war 3. I think we're seeing the start of either the Psalm 83 war or, now that Russia looks like she might be interested....the Ezekiel 38-39 war. That of course doesn't mean that there won't be skirmishes etc elsewhere though. It's even possible that there will be civil war here in the US depending on who gets elected for president next.
OK, I'm going to go try and post a few more interesting articles real quick!

Well it rain this morning I got home from minmium day at work I wait little a bit probably pick up lunch dinner at the 1950 diner soon order as takeout MAN I got pour on the rain in North Hollyweird this morning luckly I have umbrella we expect more rain later on this afternoon be so out here
Get this we expect mid part of next week our first lower 80s weather here in SO CAL

and I left...

It took me about 20 minutes to find the little bugger, but I finally did. I'm telling it that I won't hurt it, that I'm just going to put it back outside. It didn't listen. It ran and I lost it again. So I called Rascal back in and the two of us looked for it. I think Rascal was pretty disgusted with me at that point. We both gave up after another half hour went by. So it's still in the house somewhere..... 
But if you can get gifts still, that means I can too! I'll let my family know! 
But maybe I can come back later!
