WOW! The Israel Defense Forces has obtained video from a security camera showing Hamas' leader in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar, inside a tunnel below the southern Gaza city of Khan Younis, with his wife, children and another unidentified man, an Israeli security official told CNN on Tuesday. It was unclear when the video was recorded and obtained, and what condition Sinwar was in. CNN has not seen the video but asked the IDF for comment. Israel has accused Sinwar of being the “mastermind” behind the group’s October 7 attack — though experts say he is likely one of several involved. edition.cnn.com/middleeast/live-news/israel-hamas-war-gaza-news-02-13-24/index.html

Yeah they feel trapped Palestinians in Rafah feeling trapped amid Israeli offensive Exhausted after months on the move, Palestinians in Rafah face impossible decisions once again. More and more people have crammed into Gaza's southernmost city, which itself is squeezed against the heavily fortified border with Egypt, and wonder where they can go as the threat of an Israeli ground offensive in the city weighs on their minds. "We are afraid for our lives," Iman Abu Musa told DW in a WhatsApp message. The 22-year-old recently fled to Rafah from neighboring Khan Yunis, where heavy ground fighting between Israeli troops and Hamas militants has sent thousands of people south and west in search of safety. Abu Musa said all she could do now is pray for "God's protection." "We really hope that the aggression will stop before the army enters Rafah and before the situation deteriorates further," Abu Musa wrote. www.dw.com/en/palestinians-in-rafah-feeling-trapped-amid-israeli-offensive/a-68255924
