Critical national need: A pro-Israel president

"I hope that would be the case, that God gives us one more chance," says Jan Markell, founder and director of Olive Tree Ministries. "[But] American Christians need to turn out and vote."
As she points out, the trend in that regard hasn't been good. "History tells us that only 50 percent of evangelicals are even registered – and only half of those vote," she continues. "So indeed, Christians have to get out and vote for the pro-Israel candidates."
The ministry leader says while some of those contending for the 2016 GOP presidential nominations don't have a "very stellar record" in dealing with Israel, several would stand up for the Jewish nation.
"Scott Walker, Ted Cruz, Mike Huckabee, and Marco Rubio – they are going to be staunch supporters of Israel to the very end. I really believe they are," Markell states. ...
Markell says Christians would need to turnout en masse in the general election to defeat the presumptive Democratic nominee, Hillary Clinton. It would be very bad for Israel, she adds, if the former first lady and secretary of state were to occupy the Oval Office.
