GOP Candidate Suggests Reparations for White People
There is neither Jew nor Greek,
there is neither slave nor free man,

What about discussion concerning another aspect of the battle to end slavery?
What about descendants of Civil War soldiers who lost their lives or dedicated their service time,
many returning maimed and crippled,
to help end slavery?
Shouldn’t the ancestors of these patriotic Americans likewise be entitled to some back pay for services rendered?
“That same group of people later, white people,

to free black people.
It’s never happened in human history before,
but it happened here in America.
That’s not taught a lot in schools much, is it?”
The U.S. Senate candidate chastised the notion that America is a racist country.
His argument was solid.
“They make it sound like America is a racist, broken country.
You name a country that did that:
that freed slaves,
died to do that.
You know, they talk about reparations.
Where are the reparations for the people in the North
who died to save the lives of black people?”

I should get reparation from Russia I found out that my family before 1800s might be pale of settlement they were force out some of them went to Poland and other went to US LOL! this is my father side how about that Vlady give me $$ LOL!

Well how about reparations for the Jews?
They were enslaved twice as long as the blacks were in our country.
They were slaves in Egypt for 400 years, blacks were slaves for 200 years
( neither enslavments were right...
but hey...if 200 years later blacks can say they should be paid for their great great grandmother and father....
well why not Jews for their great great great great grandparents....
for 400 years of slavery?
And I have 2 grandchildren 1/4 black and 2 tribes of American Indian....and yet nobody would be able to guess it.
Our granddaughter is a super blond, super super fair skin color...but she IS 1/4 black
our grandson does have a pretty good afro going on...
which is the only hint...
otherwise like his sister,
he also is very fair skin color, blue green eyes
( his dad who is 1/2 black has blue eyes only his dad is NOT fair...
tho he does have some Irish in his genetic background which totally surprised him haha)
And the Irish won out on these kids looks wise
but they also have Sioux and another tribe....
So do they get double reparations...or maybe triple ( some for each tribe?)
It is really moot at this point, I think.
And speaking of the Irish...some of them were actually treated
worse
than some blacks back in the day!
So badly that they too ought to get reparations
which means I can get in line...
and...
like the article said...
what about those who fought England for the freedom of our country
and
those that died fighting for the blacks to be free?
In that case now I get 3 different payments ( Irish and 2 wars)
and
my grandchildren
get 6 payouts...also Irish, 2 wars, black, and 2 tribes of American Indian)
When you go down this slippery slope, it can only escalate out of control!!!
And but....oh but wait...
who does that leave to make all the payments????

Well, that is the way 'some' countries 'might', in fact, answer those who demand reparations...
USA has already given out money in Evanston, Illinois,
it approved the measure in 2019 to financially compensate its Black residents to address wealth and opportunity gaps from historical racism and discrimination.
But what Countries might NOT...
I am thinking:
China,
North Korea,
Islamic countries,
etc. etc. etc.
