This month, I increased my weekly church offering.
Here's what God did.
When I was paying bills, I was irritated to find this ad in my checkbook.
So I ripped it out and threw it in the trash. My bills went off in the mail.
The next day, I decided to write out a couple of checks for the coming
month. This is something I have never done before. But, I found a check number
was missing. Had one been stolen? Had I ripped out two and sent out
a blank one with a payment? Will I need to get a stop payment from the bank?
These thoughts raced through my mind.
What should I do? I asked my heavenly Father.
I dumped out my hand bag. Nope. Then I looked through the trash.
There it was, thrown out with the ad from the check company.
And on the table where I emptied my purse was the schedule of fees from the bank.
The amount money for the stop payment was the very same number
as the money I put in the collection plate. If I had waited even
a day later that trash would have gone to the dump.
