First of all, I want to wish everyone a Happy He has Risen Day! Unfortunately I am not doing all that great at this moment, However,through God's love, I am strenthing, every day! Shirley, my wife, has lost her battle to non small cell cancer. She died and is now home with Jesus'. Shirley, died on March 17th, 2023. I am gonna miss her but she resides in my heart, forever. On top of all this ,I am facing quite a few health challenges that I leave it all at the feet of Jesus'.Its taken me a while to write this out to you guys but I know my home is not of this world and when the Lord is ready, He will call me home. Until then, I am taking it one day at a time. God Bless! Oh Mark! Hugs….  tears   For your health and heart ❤️ |

Well after that sad information I check out headline yesterday morning I got offline I didn't look at the news I watch Call the Midwife last night went to bed early now I am up man I decided decompressd kick back with the family hanging out with the family even this news diva need some quality time with family
I hear about shooting in Louisville KY just happen check out the wires

BTW folks if you are like Hawaii Five O OG they just added to Amazon FreeVee network streaming service all 12 seasons of the show that mean I get a episode that hardly couldn't watch because it own by TBN partly back in the 1980s called Miracle Man where McGarrett go after televanvist well McGarrett have open mind about the case very fairly dude was sleazy that different ball game this way before PTL Scandel with jim Bakker this episode came out in the late 1970s

Today is 1/3 of April gone, we have lot and lots of April showers, but I am still waiting for 'Spring'

Chris is saved yes? Hi all, happy resurrection day! Cindy I'll add Chris and you to my prayers. Just sitting here watching the ball game relaxing. first the Cubbies and now the White Sox. The Cubs won 8 to 3 and the Sox are winning 11 to 4. If the Blackhawks can win tonight Chicago could hit the trifecta! lol I'm not doing much of anything this weekend just trying to relax. The last couple of weeks have been very busy at work as the girl who works with me hasn't been in as she didn't turn in some paperwork and until she brings it in, she can't work. So, I've been working alone. Unfortunately its been busier than normal so more work and one less person. Stan, Chelsea and EJ are doing well. EJ is playing baseball for his school. Stan's brother Robert is coming over tomorrow for Easter.  Our granddaughter, Gracie, is the sports oriented one. She plays soccer, volley ball, and basket ball for her school. I'll be thinking of you when I'm at her games!

Hello ladies, I was doing hospice care for Ron all this time, he died from pancreas cancer on April 6th about 10 in the morning. I did all the care myself, though I wished I could have had some help with caregiving. Some people stopped by to say hi to Ron and two lovely cheerful Christian women that we didn't know would stop by to see Ron, they wanted to be with him when he died and they were with him when he passed away. I feel they were a blessing sent from the Lord.
I am online now with time for Bible study using Ron's computer, I have lost interest in computers and plan after Bible studies to not have one anymore.
Hope you all are blessed and doing well, I know it is discouraging for Chris in what he is going through, the scripture I had to say for strength to myself was the one that says, not by might, not by power, but by my spirit says the Lord, and I did feel that work to strengthen me, it was good that he passed on to heaven.

I forgot tell you at my local Church start this summer we bring back our Vacation bible school for couple weeks in July with no restriction on Covid on everything I been talking to my co workers they plan take off for summer vacation too I know one of them can't used her Best Western hotel points LOL!
My fellow Cali people are going party their brain out this Fourth of July LOL!

Thank you Cindy and I will do my very best to stay in touch. Anna, My condolences for your loss. Ron is no longer suffering and is home with Jesus'. I have been doing a lot of thinking oh because I have time to think. I have found that the more I stay focused on Jesus', then my day gets a little easier. Amen. It's just the beginning of my journey and I am keeping my head up and doing things to keep me busy. I am glad to be here. If you don't mind I think, and there I go back to 🤔 I am going to hang out here and check out some threads. It's been awhile since I spent time reading here at FH. It definitely will do me some good! I thank God for guiding me back to where it all started. I am glad to be home, here!

Before Devon would mention homeschooling every week or two...now it's every other day, but sometimes each day. He is even finding it hard to deal with his 'friends' at school ( they are not believers).
Anna I am so very sorry for your loss. I think the only comfort right now, is knowing he is with Jesus. That and Jesus promised to be with you.

I have no idea what you mean Barbara. But ALL of your settings should be the same as mine, except the default BB code, you can make that anything you want, the smilies and the display group. You find the settings in your profile after you click "edit profile" and then click on the settings tab on the top. So first make sure all of those are the same and that you click on the save button at the bottom.
As for the "Personal smiley's" those are smileys you add on top of the 216 I've already put in the default forum. Those can stay empty. The ones you posted are the ones I added for everyone. If you can see the smiley face button, then you should also be able to see all the other buttons below:
If you can see them, then you can change the font, the size, make it bold, or not, italic, underlined, and choose any of the colors you've ever used before. Just like I'm doing right now.
Also, if you look at the bottom of the post you are replying to, you'll see two tabs. One says preview and the other says BBCode. The default is preview, but if you want to see the code just click on the BBCode tab.
When will you start homeschooling Devon? Or has that changed for some reason?

Good morning, hope you all are doing well. Thank you for your prayers, I will be saying prayers for you all also.
Weather is still cool here so there are small flowers on the ground and my potted plants are all doing well with the cooler temps.
Is there a scripture that you were pondering today? For me it is Corinthians 1:19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. I thought about how commonly misused words of false accusation that people like to say often, that there is no truth of reality in what is said and the speaker does not realize that. I can't imagine a world where people do not lie.

Well the weather is improving in SO CAL my flower bed is rocking with the flowers really nice that one cool thing about all the rains I getting flower blooms LOL!
There is more calls for Dianne Fienstein to resign last night I think safe to say Gavvy our Govenor need to replace with caretaker senate official she is not cutting it she need go back to Frisco live out her last days with the family

He has tests I know he passed he seem like smart kid
BTW my neighbor son who neighbor is ac/heater installer he can't wait to join the family business he plan go to trade school in Septemebr study heat and Ac instatllion that two years course he could work around the school schedule he can't wait till graduate
