Obama Hiding Parts of Iran Deal from Congress
Bradford Thomas 7.22.2015
Republicans have recently learned that President Obama is not presenting the full Iranian nuclear deal to Congress, withholding two key components of the deal that could result in more concessions to the terror-sponsoring Iranian regime.
National Review's Joel Gerhke reports:
President Obama won’t allow Congress to review two key aspects of the Iranian Nuclear deal, Republican lawmakers learned from international partners last week. Under the terms of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), the International Atomic Energy Agency would negotiate separately with Iran about the inspection of a facility long-suspected of being used to research long-range ballistic missiles and nuclear weapons. [...]
The IAEA will also separately negotiate "how the IAEA and Iran will resolve outstanding issues on possible military dimensions of Iran’s nuclear program"...
Rep. Mike Pompeo (R-Kan.) and Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.)—who only learned of the additional negotiations directly from the IAEA in a meeting in Vienna last week—issued statements accusing the administration of violating the Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act by withholding the terms of the "separate side deals."
"The Obama administration has failed to make public separate side deals that have been struck for the 'inspection' of one of the most important nuclear sites—the Parchin military complex," Pompeo, who serves on the House Intelligence Committee, announced in a statement Tuesday. "Not only does this violate the Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act, it is asking Congress to agree to a deal that it cannot review."

Why should the public be surprised? He has hidden everything he does, so much for transparency.

McCain: ‘Astonishing’ that US hasn’t seen Iran-IAEA deals
By Rebecca Shimoni Stoil July 29, 2015
WASHINGTON — Senate Armed Services Committee chairman Sen. John McCain warned Wednesday that the world powers’ nuclear deal with Iran could put US military personnel at risk, and complained that “side agreements“ with Iran unexamined by the United States limited Congress’s ability to assess the viability of the agreement.
“The Iran agreement not only paves Iran’s path to nuclear capability, it will pave Iran’s path toward becoming a dominant power in the Middle East,” McCain admonished administration officials in his opening comments to the committee.
“Instead of enhancing our deterrence in Iran, it seems to enhance Iran’s deterrence of us,” he warned, adding that should the two states find themselves in conflict, “US service members’ lives are more at risk because of this agreement.”
The heated session of the powerful Senate committee saw the first public testimony by Defense Secretary Ashton Carter and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Army Gen. Martin Dempsey since Congress began its review of the controversial agreement.
“When we consider these broader strategic consequences of the agreement — the second-order effects — what is already a bad deal only looks that much worse,” McCain declared.

Israel says it ‘didn’t get all the details’ on Iran deal
By Times of Israel staff July 29, 2015
National Security Adviser Yossi Cohen claimed Wednesday that Israel has yet to be informed of the full details of the nuclear accord between six world powers and Iran.
“Contrary to promises, Israel has not yet received all the written supplements to the agreement signed between Iran and the world powers,” Cohen, a former deputy head of the Mossad, told members of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee.
He specified what he described as “confidential” appendices to the accord, relating to understandings reached between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency.
US lawmakers have demanded more details on the agreements reached between the IAEA and Iran with the consent of the P5+1 group of world powers. Those agreements were not previously revealed to Congress as part of the 60-day review process required under law.
But the White House denied there being any “side deals” and said it was “standard practice” not to publicly release “technical arrangements” with the IAEA, offering assurances that US experts were familiar and comfortable with the contents.
As an example of the Western powers’ alleged attempts to keep Israel in the dark, Cohen recalled last week’s visit of Hans-Dieter Lucas, the German representative to the Iran nuclear talks, in Israel.

Wake Up! Obama WANTS Iran to Nuke Israel
25 Jul 2015 By Erik Rush
This Thursday, Secretary of State John Kerry appeared at a hearing of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee concerning the Obama administration’s controversial arrangement to lift economic and other sanctions against the Islamic Republic of Iran in exchange for concessions in their nuclear program, a deal in which Kerry was ostensibly the chief negotiator.
One point of contention has been certain “secret side deals” contained in the agreement with Iran. Rep. Mike Pompeo (R-KS), said he had learned from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) that there in fact were two “side deals” between Iran and the IAEA. On Wednesday, he stated that Kerry “confirmed that there were in fact side deals and he himself had not seen the agreement.”
Yet after Thursday’s hearing, Kerry said “there are no side deals.”
This was in conflict with statements made by National Security Adviser Susan Rice (the Benghazi Sunday news show serial liar). As reported by The Hill, Rice admitted on Wednesday that there are undisclosed “side deals” between Iran and the IAEA as Republicans alleged, but dismissed the idea that they were “secret.”
As they’ve been doing for some time, at the Senate hearing, Republican critics repeatedly suggested the administration’s negotiating team gave in to pressure from the Iranians and systematically capitulated to their demands.
“I believe you’ve been fleeced,” Committee Chairman Bob Corker (R-TN) told Kerry, claiming the deal opens a path for Iran to develop a nuclear bomb.
For the thousandth time: I am sick to death of Republican leaders refusing to acknowledge this criminal administration’s malicious intent, serial sabotage, and treasonous agenda. The longer Republicans mischaracterize the Obama administration’s actions as bungling, incompetent, inept, lacking leadership, weak, or out-of-touch, the more it appears that they are in collusion with the organized crime syndicate currently occupying the White House.
Barack Hussein Obama intends to make use of Iran in waging a proxy war against the nation of Israel which, as an Islamist (or at least an Islamist sympathizer), Obama loathes. Iran of course will be more than happy to serve in that role, once they have established a viable nuclear arsenal.

Iran launches on Israel, Israel launches on Iran, Russia launches on Israel, Israel launches on Russia, the US sits by and watches, China launches on US just because they can. US launches on China. WWIII comes and goes in a matter of hours. Most of the world left as smoldering rubble. Come quickly, Lord Jesus.

State Dept. 'Doesn't Need to See' Covert Iran Side Deals
By Ari Yashar 8/5/2015
US State Department spokesperson Mark Toner said on Tuesday that the State Department doesn't mind that it is barred from seeing the classified side deals made between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), which can only be seen by those two parties.
Iran has demanded the side deals be kept secret from the US in a demand the IAEA and Obama administration have willingly complied with, not letting Congressional review be privy to the secret deals. Significantly, they stipulate that Iran will inspect its own covert nuclear sites where nuclear detonator testing has occurred, with international inspectors forbidden from visiting.
Toner was asked by a reporter: "are you confident that you have been briefed on all the most crucial details and that is what you’re telling the American people that you don’t need to see the document because you know everything that is in there?"
“Yeah, we are confident,” Toner replied. “This is not unique to Iran. The IAEA has these types of deals with countries all around the world.”

Obama’s Iran Nuclear Deal: Trust, but Don’t Verify
by Deroy Murdock August 24, 2015
As with Obamacare, Congress will have to pass the ObamaNuke deal to find out what’s in it. Literally.
When many in Congress apparently failed to read the 2,409-page Obamacare legislation, it was mainly their fault. Although Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi jammed the final bill through the Senate and House with little time for their colleagues to absorb it, scores of lawmakers otherwise failed to consume that heaping helping of mind-numbing, nausea-inducing prose — nearly twice the length of War and Peace. Yes, every member of Congress should have devoured it. But what unappetizing reading.
The ObamaNuke deal with Iran is something entirely different.
Congress cannot read key details of the agreement. They are secret, and America’s duly elected representatives are forbidden to see the entirety of what Obama is pressuring them to approve.
Case in point: the recently exposed provision that allows Iran to self-inspect its Parchin military site, south of Tehran, long feared to be a nuclear-research facility.
This is as absurd as having allowed the Nazis to self-inspect the Peenemünde Army Research Center in the late 1930s.
