Well it's been a shaky start of the New Year. On January 5th, Shirley was complaining about Pains on the left side of her body. I called an ambulance and they took her to the ER. They ran multiple tests including a Cat scan . They found a mass 7 cm long on Shirley's upper lobe of her right lung. She had the biopsy done on Friday. We are waiting for results now. Please join me and Pray for Shirley. She is the amazing woman that God gave me to spend the rest of my life with.I am forever grateful that God led me to Shirley, 27 years ago. Please Pray for the love of my life. Thank you and God Bless!

I'm praying Mark!
Father, we praise you that whoever we are and wherever we go you are there. We have discovered that there is simply nowhere we can go where you will not be present. We cannot hide, we cannot run, we cannot even be at our destination before you! You are always ahead of us, preparing the way. You are there waiting with arms of love and mercy to hold us and to welcome us, to heal us and to hold us. Lord, you are ever near, ever approachable. In the midst of our anxiety and fear you are always understanding, coming into our turmoil, our doubts, our weakness, and despair; and you come with peace. You stand guard over our hearts and minds so that we dare to speak your name and serve your kingdom.
Great and wonderful God, always loving, we praise and honor you. Lord, I'm here asking you for total healing for Mark's wife, Shirley. They both belong to You and desire to be allowed to continue to serve you together. Your Word says that the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well and that the prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. In my flesh I'm not righteous, but Lord You have made me righteous and see me that way ever since you saved me. You make my prayers powerful and effective. I'm asking now that you will heal Shirley and Mark so they can share the gospel with still more people and bring you even more glory. May their lives be a strong witness of Your love in this dark world. Thank You Lord!

Update: Shirley was diagnosed with non stem cell cancer in her right lung and rib cage. Shirley had the port put in her chest, yesterday. I finally got my wife, home with me. She spent 19 days in the hospital. She will be starting her chemotherapy on February 7th. Why so long? They found a third spot on her kidney and we are waiting patiently for the biopsy and 3 other cultures.I thank and Praise God for giving Shirley the lesser of the two evils. Our fight begins, yesterday, and our best defense is Prayer 🙏. Shirley told me that we are fighters and we will fight this together. Thank you for your Prayers 🙏 . Please continue to Pray for Shirley, we have a long road ahead of us. May God Continue to Bless Fresh Hope and your prayers are working. Thank you Cindy for us talking the other day. Hearing your voice helped me to begin our battle with Shirley's Cancer. Amen.

Running around with my head cut off, at times. The truth of the matter is this, Shirley and I felt God presence from the start of all this and each day we reach out to Him. Shirley and I are one under God. We are thankful and grateful for everyone, globally, Praying for my wife.God led me to FH in 2003, yes I am gone a lot but that doesn't mean we ever stopped Praying for Cyndi and her family, or our FH members and families. Praying is a habit in my household. Nothing will ever stop us from Praying for the needs of others. Ever!! So how am I doing? I am challenged! Call it another Trial. Only this time my eyes are wide open and our battle has begun. May God Bless you all, In Jesus'Name Amen 🙏♥️

Update : Thank you for your Prayers! We went, today, to the primary doctor and she told us that she has read Shirley's case and pulled her hospital records. Shirley, does her very best to hide pain from me. When we go to the oncologist on the 7th, they will prescribe pain meds there. I have all our ducks in a row for this next appointment. Update February 9th Went to the oncologist and I have to get this off my chest. I serve a Powerful God and I am totally convinced that when God makes His mind to do something, He delivers! Whether it be good or bad. In Shirley's case, God gave Shirley a break! She has no Cancer in her Kidneys, whatsoever, Amen Praise the Lord. The only cancer, is in her right lung and I sat down with my wife's team and we are going to hit this aggressively chemotherapy and Radiation. She is also going to get a pet scan and she will be tested for bone cancer as well. Seems like a lot and it is. However, through Prayer, which is our best defense! I am letting God take the helm and going to fight this til every last spot of cancer is destroyed. Amen. Thank you for your Prayers 🙏 Please continue to keep Shirley in your Prayers 🙏 and we will continue to keep FH in our Prayers as well. Take care and God Bless.
